I accepted one of the offers and was very satisfied with the carrier. My item (a UTV) arrived as scheduled, without problem. Price was fair. First time using this service and I would recommend it. It was very easy to find a truck driver for a tricky load. We moved a very large motorcycle from Iowa to California with smooth transactions at both locations and good communication. Bike arrived in fine shape.

Have used uShip twice to ship a motorcycle purchased out of state. The entire experience has been top notch each time. I prefer to work with direct carriers rather than brokers on uShip. Working directly with the carrier you can select exactly who you would like to deliver your goods. uShip provide solid value and an overall more personalized shipping solution. The idea of this business is great. The driver that I hired was great. The app and website themselves have room for improvement. The messaging part is difficult to navigate. Its still says I have one unread message, Im thinking because I didnt respond to it. If the app and website were easier to navigate I would definitely give 5 stars!!!

UShip as a service was very good, fast and responsible. The difficulty came with service providers (drivers) who made initial contact and came close to making an offer and then ghosted me. Once you find a good service provider all is good. My overall experience was good: (1) because of the response by uShip when a driver failed to make a scheduled pick up and I had to cancel an agreement, and (2) when an excellent driver committed, showed up on time at the origin of the shipment and delivered ahead of the anticipated delivery date. uShip works well, but you do need to be somewhat patient with the bidding and commitment process.

I had to update my review. After having my chairs stolen by the shipper, uShip stepped up and refunded the money for the delivery and $500 for the stolen property. It was not the entire amount that we payed for our new chairs, but close enough under the circumstances.

This was the second time I have used U-ship; previously was 5 years ago. Both times I have been very happy with the services provided and the ability to navigate the website and communicatewith those providing bids. If I need to ship large items again I would not hesitate to utilize uShip. Both times I have used uShip I have been very happy with the carriers that I chose.

I personally had a great experience using this platform. I did of course have a couple shippers that were non responsive after offering bids. But I found my perfect shipper and he did an amazing job, had great communication and a fair price. Professional, efficient and responsive. Three days after placing my needs on the site, I had my vehicle at its destination. I got at least 10 offers within 3 hours. Some very high, some very low...I tend to go in the middle. The driver was very friendly and accommodating. I expected this to be a long, difficult process, it was not. Ill be using uShip again.

After a couple of false starts getting my Harley shipped from Cocoa FL to Destin FL (not the fault of uShip), a company came through and delivered it. From posting a shipping request right through to final payment, the whole process is really simple, and I like the security of knowing no money changes hands until Im satisfied with the delivery.

This was my first experience with uShip and I am pleased with the process. I had just enough quotes from which to chose. Dont be hasty in your selection. Some of the better quotes can a day or two later and were better priced. I loved this aspect. Carriers determining what they are willing to work for in terms of pricing. Payment was easy enough. Releasing payment to the carrier was also an easy process. I would use uShip again if I ever need.

The company we used to get our furniture used uShip to deliver our items. The items were booked with a time frame in mind, but it seems to us the carrier changed our time frame after pickup. We even had tracking that showed the original dates which was never updated. While speaking with the company we ordered the furniture from they explained they already spoke to uShip about this matter and unfortunately uShip was not willing to enforce any time frames. They explained that their hands were tied and that uShip was unwilling to help with the situation. They repeatedly tried to get updates from the carrier for us. It seems silly to me that these carriers can accept shipments and do as they please. While I hope this company leaves a review on this carrier we also felt like it was important to leave uShip this review. We feel if these carriers are using this platform that there should be policies in place to stop this from happening. We did finally get our items a week late. He only caught us an hour before leaving for vacation and was not understanding at all that we were heading out of town. Sadly it seems we will not get any money back for this poor service.

I was charged 20% by Uship, that seems like a pretty hefty fee for a web site. However, they did connect me with a shipper very quickly, and it got shipped in the 7 day window...Thus the 4 star rating. It would have been 5 star if the charge was more like 10%.

Found an experienced shipper at a reasonable price quickly and easily. My shipping experience through uShip was 5 stars all the way (I have also left 5 star feedback for my shipper). I would definitely turn to uShip again if the need arose.

Responses to postings started out slow with questions from carriers and no quotes. After a couple of days did start getting some quotes and selected one from Whatamove that was reasonable. They were a new vendor to UShip, so no information on, but turned out they were outstanding and UShip process was flawless from time I accepted quote to completion. I was disappointed that I didn’t get more response from vendors UShip recommended to me based on past experience. That is why 4 stars rather than 5. Would not hesitate to use UShip again and Whatamove.

Piotr was fantastic, with clear regular communication, timely delivery (with updates en route) and took immense care with the motorcycle, which was delivered spotless and in showroom condition. The van was New and clean with strong ratchet tie downs, what looked like brand new protective blankets, and its fitted with a cantilevered motorcycle ramp so offboarding the bike took less than a minute. Cant recommend him strongly enough, if youre looking to ship a bike, hes the main man.

Easy to use and customer service is very responsive and helpful. I give it 4 stars and not 5 stars because they take a significant cut from the transporter and then also charge a percentage fee from the person looking for a shipper. Easy to use website.

In the end the service got me what I wanted at the price I was hoping for, It was a beneficial relationship for both me and the delivery service. I was looking for somebody to get me my trailer within 400 miles of my town, and he was deadheading from Michigan so it was a great pairing. Issues I had were minor and will probably get worked out over time. Most notably, the tracking service checks in about once a day. I would prefer to check the progress with more recent updates, especially when it gets close to the destination. Really, this wasnt any big deal so 5 stars is fine. Maybe 9/10 on a ten scale.

Got lots of bids very quickly. Questions answered quickly as well. Saved hundreds of dollars over another site I considered using.

Do your do your homework on the carriersMy first experience was horrible they picked up my motorcycle and would deliver it it took legal action to get it back. The reviews wasn’t that great but I was in a hurry and they promised 2 -3 day delivery it was a month to get it backThe second one I used there score was great and the communication was great and delivered in time.My opinion if they don’t have a starred rating and marginal reports don’t use themUShip didn’t really help me as good as they could have but I bought the insurance and they when to work.

It works. Post you car on their site and you start getting shippers bidding on your job almost immediately. Just pick one based on what is important to you. I wanted a shipper that was reliable (been left hanging previously) and would accept payment through uShip. I give them only 4 stars because the first shipper that left me hanging for over 30 days came through the uShip. I did get a full refund for the first shipper fail. The second shipper that came from uShip, finally delivered my car. They were outstanding and shipped my car in 5 days from booking to delivery, from Los Angeles to North Carolina.

The transportation and communication was first rate, car got to me quicker than I expected from Illinois. The rate was competitive as far as I could tell.

I needed a dining server shipped from Lethbridge to Bragg Creek but thought no one would be interested in moving one piece of furniture, but then I found UShip. I posted a job on their website and numerous moving companies can bid on the job. I only had one from A World of Moving and they said they could do it that same day! They were excellent!!! After finding a piece of furniture on Facebook Marketplace at 9am, I had it in my dining room by 9pm that same day. The movers were professional and wrapped my furniture (to prevent scratches) and quick. Id definitely use UShip again.

I found a project truck 800 miles from home, and had no idea how to go about transport. After researching, I landed on UShips website and placed my project for bid. Within hours, I had multiple bids to choose from. I selected my provider, made payment to UShip, and the truck was picked up the next day. My truck was delivered in pristine condition, and I easily released payment to shipper via UShips website and that was it! So easy. It was easy to set up a request for a shipping quote through the uShip website. I was having a motorcycle purchase shipped from New Hampshire to Michigan, and I was able to set up an acceptable window of pick up and drop-off dates, select the location & destination, and choose a preferred transit method. (open or contained shipment) Entering info was straightforward and I had quotes coming in within a day.My primary complaint is with the uShip estimation that is provided when you create your quote for bidding. The low/middle/high price estimations were all hugely incorrect, the handful of quotes I received were all around 2x the highest estimation. My selected shipper was around $740 after fees.Also, the uShip system provides a messages feature that allows shippers/bidders to communicate with you about your quote, but the system is clunky to use, creating a mess of nested comments. One shipper kind of harassed me to try and make a deal quickly, sending multiple messages creating multiple threads.The mobile app was also having some trouble, intermittently failing to load my account & shipping info even on a home wifi network in several cases. They push their mobile app so strongly during the process, but it seemed to have some performance issues.All around, Im happy with my uShip experience - the process was sensible and I suspect Ill consider using the service again in the future. Of course your experience will largely depend on who you get to ship your item, which makes uShip about as risky as eBay if you dont pay attention to reviews.If uShip fixes their price estimate and app performance, its a no-brainer!

My shipping experience was great although I do take issue with how uShip does business. Many of the shippers felt it necessary to let me know that they take a 20% cut right off the top of the shipping quote. In addition to that, I was charged $100 by uShip directly for booking through them. As far as I can tell, uShip does virtually nothing for these fees. Based on other reviews, if a shipper damages your item, uShip simply tells you to take it up with the shipper. They assume no responsibility.20% of my quote plus the $100 means that uShip received $660 simply to put me in touch with the shipper. Thats a lot of money for next to nothing in services. Granted, I was unable to find a similar site that gives access to so many shippers in one place, so I get that its worth something, but I feel like theyre robbing shippers and driving up the cost of shipping while not providing much in return. There was one shipper who quoted me on uShip a number so low that theyd barely be able to buy the gas, and it was very clear that it was just a guy with a pickup truck. They obviously dont vet these shippers very well. In their FAQ section, they even cover how YOU should vet a potential shipper YOURSELF. Why the heck should I vet my own shipper when youre taking $660 from the transaction? Wheres that money going? It does not take that kind of cash to run whats basically a dating website. Match me with a shipper for a reasonable cost, or provide more services for the money youre taking. Perhaps insure the shipment for me, or offer a money back guarantee, or a reasonable credit for items received late - and definitely dont take it from the shipper because youre already doing that.

Who knew you could just post a request for a mover and name your price and people would respond. It was painless way to get furniture I bought on Etsy across the country. Note however that the price you post does not include service fee and insurance. The service fee and insurance added $75 to the total price. Had I known that I would have offered a little less. My post gave a month for delivery and I got my item within a week and it was very easy.

A lot of shippers send a message asking if still available then never respond again. Cant tell between a broker and a real shipper. Have to scour the ratings to find out which is which. uShip takes 25% off the top so cost to ship is higher than finding your own source. It worked for me this time but I wont be using it again now that I am wiser!

Got a fantastic, friendly, and professional driver booked in about 4 hours. I only spent about half of what most other motorcycle shipping companies charge. Definitely recommend checking them out if you want a motorcycle shipped. Cant speak towards anything else.

The whole experience is why UShip works. I purchased a vintage soda vending machine and had to have it shipped 14 hours to my home. I put out a bid and had a few offers where I picked the one I wanted (or I could have picked none). It was delivered without incident and painlessly.I would use them again.

I think most folks’ satisfaction with the experience comes down to the quality of the mover/shipper which uShip does not control. So do your research.

A bit pricey at times. It seems they take too much money from both the shippers and the customers from such a simple website. But its an easy and seemingly safe way to find a way to ship something!
