Super fun! Boat, captain and crew were great! Had a wonderful time on Lake Travis!

Weve been twice and have had a great experience each time! The boats are so comfortable and we love that theyre pet friendly. Highly recommend.

Definitely deserve five stars was extremely helpful and caring and allowed us to have an amazing time!I am actually in a wheelchair and knew this was going to be quite the experience also my first time on the water since like eight years but before the day I scheduled I went in person to check it out to make sure everything was going to work with my wheelchair. Everything worked fine I just had to bring my ramps to get on the dock and the dock to the boat. I was also in my power chair and if I was in my manual chair it would be so much easier but still everything was able to work perfectly fine. Thank you so much to the captains and big shout out to them and hosting us!

My daughter rented a party barge for my sisters birthday and to break the monotony of our quarantine. We went on the sunset cruise on Lake Travis. It was just a few friends all over 50s and we had a exceptional time. I would recommend requesting Ella and Mark as your captain and crew as they were very helpful and amusing and the music they provided was perfect for our guests.There were 3 disabled folks on the boat and Ella and Mark were very solicitous toward us helping in so many ways that were not their responsibility. They even helped us get our ice chests and supplies back to our vehicles. I am aware that this is not in their job description but they sensed our need and stepped up although they did not have to help us.We could not have asked for a better crew as they made sure we all were taken care of and it was an amazing experience. We cannot thank them enough for all they did to ensure that we had a great time and stayed safe.We will be back and hopefully we can cruise with our now favorite boat crew.

The staff is friendly and they make sure you have everything you need. Dylan (if memory serves), the young man who helped us, made sure we understood everything we needed to know about the boat and the lake. He was over the top nice and even cut up with us. I highly recommend this place.

It was wonderful. Ella and Mark made it a great experience and even helped us carry some of our stuff up to the car at the end of the night. We definitely plan to go again and will ask for Mark and Ella specifically.

Very good service and great explanation of rules and regulations. Love that they give privacy to the ppl on the boat and stay out of the way while still maintaining professional. The boat was clean and slides to. I recommend them to anyone looking to party on the lake !!!!!

Just For Fun is highly recommended. We arrived out of town for a bachelorette weekend and did a party barge for a few hours. We were lucky to have Mark and Dylan on the boat with us. They brought us out to a perfect spot where we got to jump off the top deck and slide down the water slide into the water. The experience was amazing! Mark took care of the grilling for us (which was amazing) and Dylan help us with different things like helping some of the non-swimmers out of the water. Mark took some amazing photos for our group. We were so pleased with every aspect from booking to the end. Mark and Dylan gave us a few different suggestions on places to eat for the other days we were there. When we were ready to go, I spoke to the young lady in the office (I’m sorry I don’t recall her name) and she told us that Mark was her father. That aspect made us feel even better about the time we spent with them. Mark made us feel like family and then we find out he works with his daughter melted our hearts. If we’re in Austin again, we will for sure use Just for Fun!

We rented a pontoon boat (for 8hrs) and a jetski (for 2hrs) on Saturday during Memorial Weekend! It was a blast! The pontoon boat we got was very nice, like new! The jetski was nice too. The staff were very friendly, and helpful even with all the busy madness going on. We got lucky since we originally were only scheduled for 4hrs.. Someone else cancelled so we were able to extend for another 4hrs when we went to return the boat.👌🏼

We rent from Just For Fun every summer. It is so much fun to get a party barge! We invite our entire family and rent to barge for 4 hours. That is a perfect amount of time! We always take food but the barge has a gas grill if you want to use it. We have always had great captains! I like to go on a Sunday around lunch because we always have kids and Sunday is more PG or sometimes PG 13 on the lake. They never disappoint!

On time departure, EXTREMELY accommodating captain. Will definitely go back.

I hardly ever leave 1 star reviews, but this experience was exceptional. The guy Alec was incredibly rude, made a ton of false promises, and at one point parked in between some rocks for a an hour when he couldve done what he had initially promised which was to go to the island. The grill was also broken and only the right side of it worked, which resulted in us waiting over an hour to eat and only being left with some leftover chicken

Great pricing with watercraft options.

First time visiting Lake Travis and renting a Ski Boat from here. We called and changed our reservation twice, to get better weather. Second time we called to change it was a day before we were to go. There were zero problems in asking for a day change, and the staff were extremely polite and helpful. I read through reviews on some other boat rental places that were nearby, and saw some horror stories regarding reservation changes. Just for Fun had no worries for changes! I was relieved!Boat itself was nice, clean and we had a great time. Highly recommended!

I had some friends visiting from out of town and I called well in advance to make a reservation for a ski boat since I wanted to do 6 or 7 hours but you can only book through their website in increments of 4 hours. Staff was very friendly and the reservation process was very smooth. On the day of the rental, the staff was awesome! Very efficient check in process and a thorough boating orientation. They even let us borrow some rope to tie down our enormous floaty that we brought along. They actually tied it down for us!Amazing experience and very reasonable prices!

Well priced, very nice and helpful staff who ensure you have the time to ask questions and understand the safety rules, and the boat/equipment are in seemingly good condition.We rented one of the normal boats (not the barge with a slide), and had a blast. Skiing and donuting.

We rented a pontoon boat for 4 hours last weekend and everything was great from start to finish! This place had a lot going on but were on top of everything with super friendly service! Amazing staff and great watercraft! Weve used JFF for a party boat (one of the only companies that has party boats with a jump deck on the top floor) and now a pontoon. An excellent experience both times. You wont regret using JFF for water fun :)

This place is incredible! Excellent customer service and outgoing, friendly staff. They got us on the water 10 minutes earlier than our start time, so we had more time to enjoy the water! I highly recommend Just For Fun Watercraft Rentals if youre looking for a fun lake experience. Compared to other rental places, their pricing is reasonable.

Really fun. The staff was easy to work with and got us in a boat fast. We ended up in a pontoon boat and it was great for our young family. We had 4 adults and 5 kids with more than enough room. The boat was new and mostly clean. It was getting pretty busy by the time we came back, I recommend going in early and getting a reservation. Life jackets for kids of all ages/sizes

Great experience. Rented an 8-person ski boat with my sis, her bf and my dog. We are moderate level drivers, otherwise you may want a captain. We tubed and cruised from Mansfield Dam to Pace Bend Park and back. Onboard ice chest, fast nice boat, would definitely recommend !

Update: My husband received a call back from Kyle. He indicated their phone/internet system crash, however he made good faith efforts to reach out and rectify the problem. Kyle apologized for our experience and was willing to provide partial credit towards another rental or refund. Kyle was genuine in his response. Based on Kyles response to our concerns we will consider future business with this establishment. For this we give 4 stars as music was our only issue which could have been resolved if timely communication was given.I decided to celebrate my 40th birthday with this company. A MILESTONE birthday. My husband and I visited the property days prior to our party barge rental to ensure adequate accommodations and music for our guests. We spoke with Ella and she ensured us that they would make the necessary arrangements. Even during check-in I reiterated the importance of music. Needless to say our experience was HORRIBLE! Music makes a party and for the entire 3 hours on the boat the music did not play consistently. Our captain was awesome and did what he could but unfortunately it was not enough. We attempted to call and speak with a manager. Kyle indicated he was a manager however it appeared Kyle hung up the phone while my husband was speaking. When my husband did not get a response from Kyle he hung up and called back. No one answered the phone.This establishment appears to be ran by kids or very immature people who are rude and disrespectful. We paid a pretty penny for the rental and it was lack luster. Do not waste your time or money. I will not do busy with the establishment again and I will tell others the same.

I got a Jet Ski here for 2 hours. Great experience overall.The team was very cool and polite. Reservation made easy with a call. Flexibility allowing me to move my reservation to the next available slot (as I knew I wouldnt be there on time. Good value for money as they dont have the latest machines but the price is about 10%-15% lower than other places. Fair insurance cost (less then 10% on top of the hourly rate). Great deal on Tuesdays where you get 1 hour free for every paid hour. Ill come back to this place every time Im looking for a jet ski rental.

Good family owned business. Treat them kindly and dont mess their equipment up. They have a nice shop to buy some supplies and a fuel station.Check em out

I made a reservation and had to cancel due to some of the people attending contracting Covid. I cancelled on a Monday for a reservation on Saturday. They would only give me a credit to use until the end of the year (which is only August-December). I asked if there was anyway they could honor the credit for a year because that’s what other boat rental companies were doing and they said they could not do that for a “small boat,” such as a pontoon. They said if I wanted to use that towards a party barge then they would honor it for a year but a party barge is double what I paid for a pontoon. Just disappointed in the customer service given the state of this pandemic and all of the uncertainty that comes with it. If I ever look to book a boat in Austin I will not be using this company. I gave it two stars since they responded to my messages and didn’t just take my money with zero options.

2nd time here. Friendly staff, boats purr like kittens, and flexible scheduling. We want to come back again before summer ends!

Tuesday is the best day for boat rentals

I decided at the last minute to gather the family and go to the lake and it was a great experience because of Mason and Charles! Charles checked us in and went over all the details thoroughly but very friendly, almost like we were family and his contagious smile encouraged us to have a great time out on the water, but be safe. We had a great time! Just for fun is centrally located on the lake so you can drive to the Dam or go across to Devils cove, we also popped into the the restaurant located next to them for lunch, everything was a great experience and the pontoon we rented was very well kept, cleaned and ran great. We had an issue with a ladder, but Manson handled it professionally and with a smile, always with me and my family best interest at heart. I cant say enough good things about Just for Fun and their staff.

First time renting a boat on Lake Travis and the process was super easy thanks to Just for Fun. They were organized and helpful in answering our many questions and everyone was very friendly.

I would highly recommend doing business with JFF! They were so kind and understanding when we reached out to them about having to cancel our trip to Austin, all this despite one of the people in our party calling up and being VERY rude to one of their employees. We sincerely apologize for that behavior and are very grateful that you still provided us with a refund! We cant wait to get back out there and do business with JFF again!

Went here for a group summer event. Didn’t experience booking the rental, but did have a great time with friends. You can bring your own food and drinks, and can hook your phone up to the rental speakers to play music. The staff were knowledgeable and chill - basically the kind of people you’d want manning a party barge! Only downside is the bathroom on board isn’t super clean. Other than that, renting from here is a great way to spend a summer afternoon!

We rent boats here several times a year. They make it easy and convenient to get in and out so you can focus on having fun.

Always have fun when I visit this place. This trip didnt go as smoothly as planned had a lil bit of a boat malfunction that ate up a chunk of our time on the water. But my family had a blast so all in all it was a good visit.

My family and I rented a boat yesterday and it was clean and very well maintained.We had alot of fun. The staff in the office was very friendly and helpfull. The staff outside were also very respectful and helpfull. We will be going back soon.

Location: On the water and easy to find.Price: Price shopped a few other locations and found this one was the most affordable for what you get. Paid appropriately $210.00 for 2 hours of speed boat, skis, and a water tub. The water tub was free with military ID.Making an appointment is recommended but walk in are welcome.Staff: front desk staff was more then helpful and friendly. The boat instructor was clear communicating safety and boat instructions. The returning instructor seemed to be having a bad day. He splashed and hit two of the kids with the tub and rope and didnt say sorry. Other then that it was a great experience and I would not mind returning.

Literally one of the worst services I have ever encountered. These people will do anything for money. I PAID for two jet skiis and only got one, when I tried to get a refund one of the boys who worked there was rude about it, on top of that they tried to charge me over $100. DONT COME HERE unless youre trying to get ripped off.

Best place in Lake Travis to rent boats. Super friendly staff and extremely customer centric management. We are raving fans of Kyle and Caitlyn’s customer service and on our third year renting from JFF.

Do not rent here! Beware! Very poorly maintained boats and 1 waverunner? This place is a joke! We rented wave runners and a boat here years ago. Evidently all their waverunners are now broken as of July 2020, and the cheap owner refuses to get more for this so-called business! While there another family took a boat out that died 10 minutes later. Talk about mis- managed!! Just saw a dozen people leave because literally nothing to rent here! This place has gone way way downhill! You are losing tons of business!

Just For Fun is a great place to rent a pontoon boat! Mason & Charles were great to work with. The boats are super clean and well maintained. We were checked in quickly and given safety instructions and off we went. Well be back.

Ima start by saying bad communication. Ive called several times with questions. Patiently knowing they was busy. I notice on the website it was limited guess per boat. I definitely inquired about that cause I knew I had a large group. I spoke to Emily that confirmed that 50 will be fine on that size boat. (Party Barge) Get to location totally different story. I was told Katilyn left me a message. Not sure why. I never gotten it. I spoke to Katilyn several times the day they state she called me. But thats with me calling in with more questions. Overall I had to rent two boats. Kyle looked out for me. With me losing out on a lot of play time trying to resolve the situation. This was very overwhelming and not worth it. The dock need lights on for those returning when it dark.

JFF was da bomb... I drove a speed boat 4 da 1st time n it was lotta fun!!!

No matter how busy it gets the staff is always friendly and patient. They give very detailed instructions on safety and options in pricing. Always clean and organized on the dock. Very personable staff that will give you detailed instructions if you have never driven a boat or jet ski. I got stuck with the anchor and made a quick call to the office and they patiently talked us through getting out.

It was located it an accessible area of the lake and had affordable prices.Was excited to rent a water vehicle for some activities with family, but unfortunately they gave me a faulty vehicle which I pointed out after a few minutes into the rental and asked for a replacement which they claimed they did not have even though I saw them renting out other vehicles to folks who were arriving.Was disappointed with their service due to this and felt they could do better.

We LOVE this place. I have been renting from here for years. Staff is always so nice.

Best day of the summer of 2018 for our family was on a pontoon boat we rented from just for fun. Wasn’t that expensive and the boat was super easy to operate. After taking 15 minutes of instructions from one of the staff, my wife drove the boat like a pro. We had a great time and will definitely do it again every chance we get.

Since Daybreak retired we have rented from Just for Fun and it has not been the best experience. Just for Money is not customer service oriented you are told one the phone a certain time then you show up only to find that what you have been told has changed. We did the early bird special clearly stated o. Their website and validated on the phone. We check in the time is not what was agreed to over the phone. We lost almost an hour then the guy has the audacity to tell me you getting what you paid for!! Lol!

We rented a ski boat w/tower and Bimini top.Everything from check-in to the boat was great. Awesome people and really nice boat, for a rental. It came fully equipped, totally clean and had a set of water skis. The skis and rope where quite worn, but didnt stop us from having a great time.It definitely is a great, clean, friendly and professional place to rent nice quality water crafts.We will be back for 2 for 1 Tuesday!

We had lot of fun. Highly recommend just for fun boat service. They took us to a island near by. There is a slide attached to the boat. The employees are so friendly.

We had family visiting from out of state over the summer, so we rented a pontoon boat and wave runner. It’s easy to make a reservation online, which is great. The staff is professional and all of their boats are very nice. We had a great time and will definitely be back.

The pontoon boat we rented was excellent! It was super clean, had bluetooth connection for music, and plenty of room for three families with 7 small kids. The boat was faster than others we have rented in the area, which made it easier to get to more swim spots.I will also add that the staff was really taxed on the Memorial weekend, but their ability to keep their cool while dealing with the madness was impressive. Many hands make light work, and they have plenty of staff. You can tell why they are more expensive than others, but you get what you pay for.Thanks for a great day on the lake!
