My Family and I decided to travel to Austin Texas this year and go see Lake Travis because I’ve heard that it’s a beautiful around the summer time. And what better way to explore a lake that huge than with a boat! We made reservations with Harborside houseboat rentals to have one of the smaller pontoon boats and let me tell you that was an experience I will never forget. The owners were so nice and the boat definitely deserved a 5 star. the quality of the boat was amazing. It was clean and ran smoothly. Definitely 10 out of 10 Service. I will for sure come back for another adventure!

We were the slowest boat on the lake...no lies. We literally went 8.4 mph at full speed. We rented a 12 person pontoon with only 6 people a small ice chest and 1/2 tank of fuel. So we werent overloaded to drag on the boat. We spent mre time driving the boat to parts of the lake and less time apending doing what we wanted to do. I even called and asked if the slow speed was normal. Thw young man kinda was like we dont want anyone driving fast and offered no help. I have rented many boats and this by far was the worst POS I ever rented. Be weary and do your homework. I wont rent from them again. The young man at the dock was very helpful thus the 2 stars.

We do not rent or are accoacated with the houseboat austintatious that received a bad review. We sold this vessel 4 years ago to Austin houseboats that is run by Corey faykus.
