We paid what we believed would certainly be a premium price for the promise of high quality work. The actual planning, demolition, and construction was all done in what we considered to be a skilled, professional manner. However, when we were discussing the contract, I asked the representative how she arrived at the contract amount. I expected to have a discussion about categories of cost, such as materials and labor. I was told that the cost was determined by linear feet. I asked for a breakdown so that I could decide if the billable labor was within a range I thought was appropriate, and if the materials cost was reasonable. The representative said they did not ordinarily offer cost breakdowns to customers but they would send one to me because I asked. The representative said Statewide would send a breakdown of costs soon. I never received the cost breakdown even after I made several requests. I dont like feeling in the dark about basic information like this, and felt that the representative delayed getting me the information, hoping I would stop asking. If I had known that a representative of the company was going to keep me from seeing their breakdown of costs, I might have chosen a different company.Although the administrative issues were a problem for me, the quality of the workmanship was very high. The workmen were very helpful when we had questions, they were always busy, and engineered a solution for a difficult shower drain placement.
I purchased 3 bathroom remodels and new windows for my whole house. They were friendly and knowledgeable. This was the first of June. It is now the first of October. I have paid approximately $20K down for windows and remodel. No one will answer my calls, emails, or texts. In 5 months time I have had 3 texts and 3 emails concerning the bathrooms and not one communication for the windows. I have called over 10 times and leave messages, I have called the sales people who left their cards, no return calls. Do no hire this company!!!!
The quality of the work was good. I needed my tub shower changed to a walk in for my mother before she moved in. But I paid a premium price to have the work done fast. I don’t think I’ll use these people again because of the cost.
I felt highly pressured to go with a $34k shower remodel. They werent charging me for labor to install glass doors and vanity/mirror that I purchase on my own. We were keeping our floors and walls, only wanted our old tub converted to a shower with acrylic. When I asked if we could shave any $ off, he mentioned the Home Depot discount and brought it down to $29k. Why wasnt I given that discount to begin with. then he said he could bring it down to $24 if we allowed them to put their sign in our yard. I was wondering why 34k for only a shower? When my husband and I declined and said wed like to get other estimates, I felt the consultant was upset and he even said Im sorry we couldnt make a deal like he was a car salesman. He did show up on time for the appointment and he was nice but I didnt feel like he was being thorough and giving me the whole picture. I was leaning towards going forward with it because of the warranty he was pushing but after reading other reviews on Yelp, Im glad that I didnt.
Windows work great. They are expensive! I probably paid $10k more than most other window companies offer (thats after speaking to people I know who got the same warranty and windows at a lot lower cost...but you have to pay attention to the materials used in constructing the window...I want to be fair). The install team was pretty good but I did have to point things out that were missed or needed repairs after the install. Dont expect the windows to fit perfectly in your home (its not new work...especially around brick). The installers use a lot of good quality caulking to fill gaps.I decided to replace my exterior trim after the install and found pieces of old window frames behind. I would also of thought that window spray insulating foam wouldve been used around the frames. I added it myself after installing new exterior trim (attention is in the detail). Sometimes I wish I wouldve went with another company because of the sales tactics and price but it was my choice and the windows work great.
Cory was exceptionally detailed in making certain all work was done well and in a timely fashion. Mark was one of the most talented individuals I have seen complete construction and tile work. He was always kind and personable, and went above and beyond to make the space exactly what we wanted. Raphael was very detailed and also very personable. I would recommend Cory and his team over and over again!!
We had a lady come home to provide a quote. The cost to convert a guest room bathtub to a walk-in shower - $27k.Pros: +2 stars1. The quality is probably extremely good. It may or may not justify the cost. Im no expert, but I can imagine good quality material costing that much.2. Prompt scheduling for in-house estimate3. Rep came ready with samples and pictures of older projects etc.Cons: -3 stars1. The reps presentation had a lot of completely useless parts, including for e.g. a sales pitch for the company that makes the waterproof inner lining of the shower walls.2. The rep would stop doing anything until both my wife and me were paying full attention. If I got a call from daughter in college and opened my phone while my wife was still paying attention, she would stop and stare at me until I was paying attention again. Weird?3. This is the one con that will make us never go back to this vendor ever. The rep was astonishingly condescending. When we said well need more time to consider the steep cost, she was visibly upset and angry. Heres one of the interactions towards the end which highlights this:Rep: The total cost is $27kMe: We are not looking to stay in his house forever. We have 3 bathrooms to do. $27k (magically discounted to $22k for no reason) for a part of 1 bathroom is way too steep.Rep: So what I am hearing is, you would prefer to have low quality. In hindsight, I am not sure why I did not stand up at that point and ask her to leave. I should have.
Paul Morgan from the Home Depot (Statewide Remodeling) service came out to our home for an initial consultation regarding a possible guest bathroom remodel. He was on time, friendly, and professional. He assessed our remodel needs, helped us make material selections, and explained the process for the remodel and expected time of start and time to complete. He was thorough and provided my husband and I time to discuss and decide wether we would like to proceed with the project. We are looking forward to our project start date and hoping for a great project outcome!
Leo and Alex were MIND-READERS ! They were in tune with each other throughout the 7-hour process ! Not a MINUTE was wasted.Leo asked me the appropriate questions ... and he performed the bathtub tear-out / shower install JUST LIKE I WANTED IT !The end result was P-E-R-F-E-C-T-I-O-N !!!!!!!The clean-up was perfect, as well. They cleaned up every amount of debris !We have further work to be done in bathroom #2 ... and we will DEMAND that Leo and Alex be our laborers !
My wife and myself are very pleased with the shower remodeling That was done by Statewide Remodeling. I would like to take a few moments to thank a couple of hard working professionals that completed the work. Raphael who did the plumbing was very professional in setting the water lines that was in a total disarray. He removed the old lines and installed new lines. He did a amazing job.Greg did the actual installation of the shower remodel. His work ethics were amazing. He would take time to explain what he was doing when I would walk in while he was working to ask questions. He was very polite and courteous at all times. His workmanship is outstanding and when he finished the job we now have a walk-in shower that anybody would love to have.We would like to thank Cory McBride who is Rapheal and Greg’s supervisor. He would ensure that his workers had what they needed at all times. We are very great full that we selected Statewide Remodeling for our shower conversion. We are planing to do our second restroom in the future and we will use Statewide Remodeling for all of our future jobs. Thank You Robert and Earline
Had our entire house windows installed by Statewide about 5 months ago... The sales person was very nice and detailed. The installation crew did a great job and we really liked the quality of the finish work. However, its been several months and we still have 2 windows they never replaced... NO phone calls or communication to finish the job... No estimate on when they will actually finish the job! Weve paid for a big chunk of the service but they have yet to complete the work. Its been 5 months since they did the first part of the job. Communication has been terrible!
Run away from this company!!We had custom windows installed over three months with a horrible experience. The actual windows are great quality, but they measured and order the wrong size windows. Some windows have over an inch gap, and instead of getting the correct measurements to reorder and install windows that fit, they keep giving us the run around. We have spent 13 thousand on custom windows that don’t fit. That’s the point of custom measured and made windows, they should fit perfectly. On top of windows that are too small, they got caulking on our carpet, used multiple types of caulking (clear and white) on windows, and they completely forgot to caulk one entire window. We have been trying to get them to fix their mistakes for the last three months, with no luck. We chose this company because we thought they were reputable and if we had issues they would be fixed, but we were wrong, and now we are out 13k. Don’t waste your money with this company!!
Today was the first time my husband and I met with Statewide and they were very organized, professional, and nice. Sherry was our representative and she did a great job explaining the process, options, showing examples, etc…Statewide definitely takes pride in their work and we look forward to working with Statewide in the near future! We will be remodeling our master bathroom by taking out the tub and creating a large shower with a dry area. It’s going to be beautiful!!
Everyone was very polite an answered all our questions. Very happy with the project.
The company built a porch onto my house. The outcome was great but the process was very frustrating. There was no schedule to the work and set time of when work was to start and what day. The electrician came and at that time the “foreman” told me I had to provide the ceiling fan. He suggested a fan with a remote. First I had heard of this! There were none available at the time. I now have to go into my hallway to turn on and off the outside lights. I had never met the foreman ever. I texted with Carrie who was helpful but each piece was a different person. Schedules would be helpful and a list of workers that will be at our home.
We worked with Paul from Statewide Remodeling a few weeks ago for our estimate and design for our home repair and remodel. He was excellent! Friendly, professional, great with our dogs, and very accommodating. He helped us develop a plan and a design that we liked, even picking up on subtle décor cues from his time in our home (which we werent even aware of ourselves), significantly reducing the necessary back and forth debate on style, fixtures, etc. He helped make the process as painless as possible --- for the design phase, at least! Well see how the actual work goes next... ;) Fingers crossed! :)
We had our kids bathrooms remodeled by statewide remodeling. When the first bathroom was remodeled, we were very disheartened the way it turned out but Nick Rich, the installation manager was patient enough to hear our concerns and was primarily responsible for making things right for us. A big big shout out to Nick Rich, Cory and Greg for being extremely professional, responsive and above all understanding our concerns. Thank you.
We are having our bathroom remodeled. We were not sure what company to use, and today we met with Paul from Statewide and he was very knowledgeable, very professional, and extremely helpful. By the time Paul left we were much more comfortable with the entire process and we have decided to use Statewide Remodeling. Their prices are reasonable, and their salesmen (Paul) are great! We are definitely looking forward to working with Statewide to get our bathroom just the way we want it.
We went with Statewide Remodeling because they gave the option of buying one window at a time instead of having to buy a minimum of 2 or 3. The salesman was wonderful to work with as well as the installers. The only reason I did not give them 5 stars is because when it came time to install the windows the installer told us they had to either remove our plantation shutters (hence voiding our manufacture warranty) or the other option of having to add small wooden planks on the outside of our windows. We went with the wood planks. Our issue is both the salesman and the gentleman who measured prior to installation stated that our plantation shutters would not be an issue for installation. Needless to say we were both surprised and a little disappointed when installation day came and we’re told about our only options.
I cannot get anyone to call me back on repairs for the shower they installed a couple months ago that is leaking. I have tried for almost two months and left several messages and emails even to the people who were very responsive during the installation but will not respond since the job is complete and I have problems. The sales representative said the companys warranty was great when she sold us the remodel, but that doesnt seem to be true. I would not recommend this company.
We had an old bath replaced with a shower. We were so pleased we had Statewide replace the bathtub in our second bathroom. The work was professional and the individual handling the actual work was meticulous when it came to detail. I highly recommend Statewide!
So there game is to come into your home so they can tell you all their strengths, present favorable reviews, and provide you an eye-popping price. Well this is one review they won’t carry with them. Honestly, we did business with them and have regretted it every single day. It started off great but once they left, issues with the master bath remodel surfaced due to poor installation. Grout begun to crack and split. They installed a bench incorrectly. At first, I felt this wasn’t going to be problem because there’s a lifetime warranty on their service. Fast forward 4 years and repeated attempts to get them to resolve these issues and still no action from the company. They don’t back up their work whatsoever and have never returned the dozens of phone calls I’ve made. They’re incredulous and unscrupulous. Cannot be trusted!
Was pleased with the workers that installed our patio cover. They did excellent work. No nonsense crew that focused on getting the job done. Disappointed that company never came out and posted a sign at our house, for referral bonuses. We were promised several times.
Pedro is a Davinci at remodeling a shower - superb workmanship from a guy who really cares about delivering a beautiful shower. I was also contacted by a great guy (Collins I believe) that asked how the job went and was there any issues. First class crew in everyone we met and the materials used were top of the line such as the Delta faucet. Highly recommended.
Had a shower pan, walls and a door installed. Looks fantastic
Statewide replaced a shower in our master bath. They were fantastic! They were on time everyday. Their work is artistry! My new shower is absolutely beautiful. They were efficient, detail oriented and very reasonable. I would highly recommend them.
Process of ordering and completing the work was easy. Quality of work was very good. All the staff was very friendly and professional. We love our new bathroom.
Statewide remodeled our small outdated master bathroom into a modern beautiful “spa” like bathroom! Professional, prompt, artisan work. A faucet was leaking later & they replaced it with a new faucet. I am throughly impressed & want to use them again for further updates in our home. Exceptional comes to mind when I think of Statewide!
Complete kitchen remodel with a built in bar / pantry. Cory did an outstanding job of keeping me informed throughout the project and scheduling the work.Harold & Marcus were extremely fast with the deconstruction and meticulous installing the new cabinets. Harold blended the molding in with a sloped ceiling in the bar area. They were the primary two that were onsite and always kept the area clean. Arnold’s guys installed the granite that only has one seam. If it wasn’t pointed out, you wouldn’t notice. Pedro did all of the tile work for the backsplash in both areas and it looks amazing.Completely satisfied with how it turned out.
These guys were really good. They followed through with all the detail work. It was a beautiful makeover on our log cabin kitchen. They went to all lengths to get it right snd they did!
Our remodel was completed back in May 2021. A representative came out to our home and sold us on the remodel. They sit there and promise you a time frame of when the remodel would be done only for it to not meet that time frame. More often than not, there was no one at our house even working on the project. I would say maybe 2, maybe 3 (on a good week) days out of a 5 day work week was there someone at our house working on the remodel. Not to mention the price we paid for a HALF master bath remodel. We likely could have done the job our self and paid half of what we are now responsible for. I understand the cost of material and labor but we paid a pretty penny only to be left rather unsatisfied with the result. All we had done was a shower and tub remodel. No extra square footage, nothing. I was promised that by going acrylic rather than tile for my shower wall, it would pretty much look identical. Yeah, no. Thats some BS. you have to catch it just right otherwise you wouldnt be able to tell the type of design I chose. This is not a company my husband, nor I would recommend. I believe we paid far too much for the results we received. To give a rough idea on how much that cost us, we paid right about 26K. And we dont have that big of a bathroom either. In my opinion, dont get bamboozled by their pitch. Not worth the debt in the long run.
It has been a few years, But I have been very satisfied with their service and products.
We had a shower renovation done and paid for a frameless sliding door. Recently the door has stopped sliding and we have not been able to use the shower for over a week due to the door being stuck. We are supposed to have a lifetime warranty! We have reached out to statewide remodeling nonstop and have left multiple voicemails. No one has gotten back to us! Every time I call I either get a voicemail or someone in the sales department. All they do is take our information down and say they’ll have someone reach back out, which has yet to happen. The shower is beautiful but the customer service is ridiculous!
Just met with Paul Morgan and appreciate how attentive he was to my needs and budget. Never felt like I was being sold and thoroughly enjoyed our interaction. Would highly recommend working with him!
These guys were great for my bathroom remodel. Very clear about pricing, materials, and schedule. Beautiful final result. I’ll be using them again to upgrade the other bathroom. Not cheap, but great quality.
Great work! Every step of the process was smooth and timely. We love our new bathroom!
Paul M. came out to discuss remodeling our hall bathroom. He was professional and listened to my concerns. He was patient with me as I asked a ton of questions. Paul had great suggestions about materials and colors.
Today, my husband and I met with John Collins of Statewide Remodeling for a design consultation for remodeling our master bathroom. John was punctual, professional, thorough and detail-oriented in his presentation. He explained everything about the quality of the products, the companys reputation, and the services provided. His presentation was exceptional and we felt no pressure. He was extremely patient and friendly. We feel like weve made a new friend and he has solved our problems!
Statewide turned a rather blah rear patio into an outstanding sunroom. We are delighted at how it all turned out, and the finished product exceeds our expectations. Top quality materials, top quality workmanship. Highly recommend this vendor....!
Ten years ago, Statewide enclosed our porch. So we decided to go with Statewide when we decided to add access from the Master bedroom to the porch, converting a window to a door and completely remodeling our master bath. From start to finish, Statewide made great suggestions, helped with financing, keeping us up-to-date and created a spa environment from a cookie cutter bathroom. All personnel were exceptional, attentive to detail, listening and translating my very specific wants and needs into a showcase. Thank you Statewide!I have attached before and after pictures.
This remodel of my guest bathroom was everything I hoped for! You can see by the photos what a great improvement it was, the tub was removed & replaced with a walk-in shower, as well as new cabinet and vanity. Wallpaper was removed and walls were textured and painted. I found the process of design to be very easy as the sales/designer helped me pick from a variety of finishes and tiles. The project manager was a great communicator, every day I knew what was on tap for that day, and he visited daily to ensure the subs were doing their job. All of the subcontractors were exceptional, especially the tile guy. The job was done in about 2 1/2 weeks, which was just a few days less than they projected. Everyone was professional, courteous and respectful of my time and my home. I would recommend them to anyone and Ill be using them when I remodel my master bath.
DO NOT HIRE STATEWIDE REMODELING!!Do not waste your money and time on this company. We hired Statewide Remodeling based on knowing wed be paying 30% more to receive better service and a guaranteed job well done. Not a single part of their business/company has shown any level of better service. We are still waiting for our master bathroom remodel to be completed after being sold on a two week maximum; this project started on April 12th and today is June 5th.Our site supervisor, Chris reached out to us the last week of May while we were wrapping up our week long vacation, tell us that he was no longer with the company. Prior to leaving for vacation, nothing was completed or finished during the entire week.We were hopeful for a better managed and professional site supervisor due to having the wrong floor tile installed and grouted TWICE and ordering the wrong fixtures and parts. His tone and comments towards us were not appreciated when the first wrong floor tile was installed. It is not professional to tell a client that the tile has been in your garage all week, when the client is paying you to make sure the correct tile was ordered prior to install and to do the job right the first time.We are still waiting on the correct fixtures and parts and honestly have no idea if they have even been ordered. This week the new assigned site supervisor told us he was sick and havent heard from him all week after following up multiple times. We have reached out to the salesman, John we first met with and have yet to hear from him, also after multiple requests. It is beyond frustrating that we are paying THOUSANDS of dollars for a remodel that has yet to be completed and finished with zero communication. At this point we could have completed this remodel ourselves as it was not a complicated project; no walls, plumbing moved, added, etc.Go with the company for thats dirt cheap, with horrible reviews because honestly, youll get the same level of service as choosing Statewide Remodeling.
John Collins, Design Consultant came out to see us today for a bathroom remodel. He was very thorough in his presentation he explained the entire process from start to finish helping myself and my husband to understand exactly what was to become of our Bathroom. We were very impressed with the exclusive products the services that statewide along with Home Depot could provide us with the warranties and the value we are second to none in our opinion. Thank you to John and Statewide we are really excited for this upcoming transformation !!!
Excellent quality work. Exceptional workman. Finished in record time.
Amazing company! Would use them again! The quality of the work completed on our bathroom remodel job exceeded my expectations. Great attention to detail and precision! They took steps to protect our flooring and cleaned up beautifully after they were done!
John Collins was my design consultant for the initial design and quote session and it was absolutely the best experience Ive had getting a quote for work on my home. It was completely low pressure; I decided to proceed with him but even then he circled back to make sure I was all-in and sure. I really appreciated the respect for my time.
The end result was great. We really enjoy our remodeled shower!
Great past experience with Statewide remodeling. We are using them again to remodel our master bath. Thank you, Paul for all the great ideas planning the changes to our bathroom. We can not wait to see the result!
We had a pergola installed. Job was done in good time and professionally.
Mr Brad Neinast is a very professional specilalist in his field. He explained everything step by step. I would recommend his service. Job well done.
John Collins did a great job today helping us redesign our master bathroom. He has great suggestions for materials and colors to help us lock in a plan that we have tried to figure out for months. We are excited to finally get the last part of our home remodel done.UPDATE: Our experience started out very well but we have had some issues and tried multiple times to reach someone at statewide for help. Leaving multiple voice mails never gets a response. At this point we just need a final inspection but why do we need to chase statewide instead of them contacting us.
John Collins was our design consultant today and he was very easy to work with and detail oriented, he helped to solve a major problem for us. My wife and I have health challenges and he identified and isolated our problems with and put us at ease. We are so excited for the quality exclusive products and services to be installed in our home. We recommend that you call John Collins at Statewide Remodeling, the entire design consultation was great. Kudos to these folks!
Chris was our professional designer and we couldnt of ask for more he was on time, professional and explained every detail possible made us feel comfortable and happy about our choices, and not act like a salesman. We cant wait to see our bathroom remodel.
Amin had a good customer services, he found the right windowa for us ..He very good sales person . I give him a 10 and will recommended him ..
John Collins- design consultaqnt, a new friend. John helped us immensely with the beautiful design to remodel our bathroom. John explained the entire process, the benefits and the features and all the exclusive products. He was pleasant and helpful and we felt ease in working with him. We are extremely excited for our new bathroom and were very happy with the excellent pricing that John got us after calling his Regional Manager, Mr. John Keenan. Thank you to John and John.
Paul Morgan came to my house for a consultation. He was prompt, courteous, and helpful when it came to an estimate to remodel the bathroom for my elderly mother.
We had Sherry in our home and she was an absolute delight! She hung in there with us as my 2 children under two ran amuck. She was so knowledgeable, kind, warm and understanding. She worked so hard to get us the best price possible! We weren’t able to commit to our bathroom remodel just yet, but when we do, know that Sherry and Statewide are going to be our first call. I can’t wait to see how amazing our bathroom is going to look with their high end and high quality work and products. Lastly, the fact that they come so highly recommended and one of their owners lives here in Austin is so cool. Looking forward to making my bathroom dreams come true!!!
John Collins was very professional when consulting with us about a bathroom remodel. He explained the quality wed be receiving for the price point that was calculated to perform the job. His character really sold the remodel for us and would 10/10 recommend him to anyone looking for a quality remodel.
I got corralled at home depot and agreed to entertain a bid. I barely got home before a pushy, rude salesgirl who belittled me because I wasnt open to a Sunday appointment called. She said my significant other would have to be present. I told her it was my bathroom and no one else would be involved in the bid. She insisted their their experience made it mandatory that we both be here for the pitch. What a pushy, rude, arrogant person.
Signed up through a Home Depot since we were doing a remodel. We were told they could do a full bathroom remodel and were offering 25 % off the price for signing up for a estimate. They cancelled on me 2 separate days and then the day of our appointment rescheduled from 6 to 4:30. Due to all these “unforeseen changes” they offered an additional 5% off. Salesperson showed up and did a long Kirby vacuum type presentation. I should have know then. Told us time and time again they are “high end” and “turn key”. I believe they think they are high end based on pricing...when actually the stuff we were presented looked like a regular shower insert you can go buy at Home Depot in store and do yourself with a few more color options. I wish I could reveal the shower price as dramatically as our saleperson did......she had us leave for 10 minutes to work up a price and when we were called back we returned to a piece of paper turned upside down on our dining room table so we couldn’t see the price. She said to us before flipping it over “ remember this is turnkey all warrantied work by a reputable company”——My price for a shower (that is not big at all)over $9,800 with the 30% discount applied. Ridiculous. Shower door $2000. Simple shower head installed cost $1,500. 😳 craziness!!!By definition of “turnkey”,which our salesperson kept saying, means just the plumbing and shower insert. We would still have to contract out the drywall, texture and paint for ceiling in the shower. They may do a great job. I’d hope so for this price but I have no doubt you can get a much better deal with other extremely reputable companies. This is the 3rd estimate Ive gotten for this job and they were miles apart from the others! Do with this what you will but they are highly overpriced!!!
John Collins was our design consultant and he was great! He explained the entire process and helped us to design what we wanted.
Morgan made my decision really easy to make! Very informative and knowledgeable of all my questions!!!
I was impressed on how well everything was coordinated - from product ordering to staffing. It was supervised daily & the quality of the work was great! We love our new bathroom!
John Collins was our professional designer and we couldnt of ask for more he was on time, professional and explained every detail possible made us feel comfortable and happy about our choices
Cory was extremely supportive in the details of the project completion
If you see one of their pushers at Home Depot trying to sign you up for a quote in exchange for a $100 gift card, just say no!I signed up to receive a quote on a patio cover through one of their pushers at Home Depot. I was told then that I would receive a $100 Amazon gift certificate in exchange for allowing them to come out and provide a quote.Because of the size and shape of my patio, it took three separate visits and calls to an engineer to finally, on a Friday night, give me a quote for $30,000. With a variety of right now only discounts, I could get the price down to $17,000. But those discounts were only good while the rep was on site at that moment. If he left, the cost would be $30,000. (If your discounts are only good while your customer is being pressured, then your price is a scam.) I resisted the hard sell. The sales person was visibly disappointed. He refused to leave a quote with me because he said that if I wouldnt by now for less theres no way Id buy later for more. As he was leaving I asked about the gift card. He said Oh, you have to go online somewhere to get that. No clue as to where. With the holiday season, I forgot to hunt that down immediately. My quote was November 20. I recently contacted Statewide to inquire about that, was sent to an application for the gift card that is actually only $25 and must be submitted within 30 days of the quote. I asked if I could still submit given that I wasnt told any of that, and wasted three days indulging their sales people. Nope.
Mijo Marsic came to my house for an estimate for an outdoor patio. He arrived on time and was excellent answering all the questions we had about the product. He represented the company very well and we decided to go with them based on his professionalism. I cant wait for the patio to be built in a few weeks. I will update the post with pictures then.
Great to work with and made my bathrooms beautiful again!
Took almost 2 months to finish our shower!!! Not what we wanted!! Couldn’t see the product beforehand. Once it was put together, it didn’t match! Had to buy our own tile and have it redone. Took weeks to get materials then when the materials were here, they didn’t order enough so we had to wait another week. Cheap materials. They always start at 30,000. It’s like you are bargaining on a deal! Not happy at all!!! Would not use them again for anything in our home!! Run while you can! Horrible customer service!!!
Satisfied with the work done. The work done by the lead craftsman Pedro D. was excellent and the project was completed in a timely fashion. Annoyances include sales techniques requiring decisions on day one of the marketing and design presentation and callbacks for minor corrections that were not handled with much of a sense of urgency. The customer should not expect Statewide to be the least cost option but if you decide to go with Statewide I believe you will enjoy a well planned and coordinated project timely completed with few issues.
The workers were specialists in their field. Got in and got out quickly. The supervisor inspected at each phase. The materials used were high quality. We are pleased with the finished product and happy with the professionalism of the people who entered our home. Thank you Statewide!
John Collins was thorough and helpful, especially with financial options. Any questions I had he answered. And he was not pushy.
John Collins came in and gave us some great ideas for updating our Master Bath. We liked his ideas and thoughts he was great to work with and we appreciated his help. Lauren Carlino brought to us as well! They gave us the latest ideas for the clean look we are going for in our home!
A representative came out to our home for a quote on a patio cover. Brad G. was very knowledgeable about his product and up front about the pricing. We decided not to go forward with the project at this time and he was very gracious to us even when we did not sign a contract.
Statewide did a terrific job installing a shower in our bathroom. They estimated 7 days, and took 4, to move a wall, install a shower with all the plumbing and also add an overhead light, relocate the light switch, and install a new sink. The planners, engineers, supervisors and all the men who worked in the house were extremely considerate and careful. Their work was top-notch. We would call them again for sure.
John Keenan and Keith Johnson were great. They paid attention to all my wifes desires and designed her dream shower. We would do business with them again.
John, was very professional and very detail.Explained everything in great detail! Will definitely use him again!
Impressive!!!! I was blown away by the professionalism of statewide remodeling. The first contact person, Justin, came out and signed a contract with us for the upcoming work and took some measurements. Another person came out on a different day and took measurements and spoke with us about options for the bathroom remodel. We had an appointment with a designer to pick out colors and then we were given a timeline for the demolition to begin. Every aspect of the remodel was detailed and a supervisor checked by on the worker’s progress each day. Everything turned out great!!
We had Statewide Remodeling redo our guest bathroom and it came out amazing. The job included removing an old bathtub and cabinet sink and installing a custom glassed in shower stall and new sink. Once they started, they were done quickly and their quality of work is outstanding. We will definitely use them again for our next project, and would definitely recommend them.
Tell me WHY this company requires and insists that my husband be present when they come over to give me a quote for a bathroom remodel? I make all the remodeling decisions at my home and my husand is well aware. But they refused to be there unless my husband is present. Its incredulous that I would be treated like ‘the little woman’ who was unable to make decisions related to doing work on a home. Its 2021!!! I refuse to give my business to a company that operates like its the 1950s.
Update 4/19: I tried again just now, as the owners response asked me to call their generic number. Went thru the IVR. It routes me to the same person’s voice mail that has been unresponsive for the past several months! I go back thru the IVR to ask to speak to ANYONE else...I got transferred again to the same persons voice mail. Unbelievable!__________Original review: During the remodel everything was great! Our GC onsite was responsive, communicative, and delivered exactly what we wanted. We completely gutted our kitchen, removed walls and rebuilt it, all while we lived in the home during the Reno, and had zero issues.Except...our vent hood (we purchased) was damaged during install. In 2018. Our GC worked to order a replacement. The wrong replacement was delivered. Then he left the company. I keep getting passed along to people who tell me they will make it right. I still have a damaged vent hood. One that will now cost around $2k to replace.I also started having electrical issues. They came out and agreed. Then they said they didn’t have record of doing the electrical. Then it was that they got ahold of the electrician that did the work but he doesn’t work for their sub anymore and so no one knows who will pay for my electrical repairs.Weekly calls. Regular emails. It will be three years in September. I keep trying but they are completely non responsive. If they would just say “we won’t do this” I would have more respect for this company. But continuing to promise and not deliver is unacceptable.
This is a fantastic company. No horror stories like those of many independent contractors out there. The bathroom remodel was done right the first time, on time, the price didnt vary and the contractors were so nice, friendly, professional and transparent. Having had a bad bathroom remodel in 2013 that had to be completely gutted and re-done I was so pleased with Statewide and the job they did. It is worth paying extra to save the hassle and trouble of a potentially bad remodel. Great company that I highly recommend them for any remodel.
Turn-key contract work with purchase of Kohler Walk-In Bath. Professional electrical, plumbing, installation akin to remodeling. Statewide reps especially have been very responsive and helpful with the small things I’ve requested assistance or info since the July install. Love my baths!!!
John Collins was our design consultant today, he was very professional very patient with me also very considerate of my needs would recommend him or this company. Thank you very much John for your professionalism.
Statewide Remodeling built an attached sun room in 2016 for us and I love it - they were very professional and responsive during the build. Cost about $40K and its exactly what I want. Three years after the build, we developed some bad ceiling leaks and after a couple of calls they patched the leaks in the caulk for no charge. A year later, its leaking again. Several calls & several weeks later, they finally sent out their production manager to look at the roof. We discussed the lifespan of caulk in my climate (very hot) and I offered to pay for the entire roof to be recaulked. He said his office would send me a quote. Two weeks later, crickets. So Im six weeks after reporting a leak and Ive received multiple sales calls from Statewide trying to sell me something additional, but no more contact on fixing what I already have. So just be aware that although their product is reasonably good for the price, their service is not. Im now looking for someone else to repair the roof.
John Collins was our design consulting he was excellent he was able to solve our issue with Tub and shower problems. He was able to get us discount with his regional manager Mr Keenan ask him to help him to get project and price to excellent deal with us. Thank you John Collins for your professional.
I was so impressed with all aspects of it. They keep you informed and keep their promises. I would highly recommend them. If your looking for an outstanding company to get your projects done, they are the ones to go to.
John Collins very professional and courteous great work on helping us come up with our decision and we value his expertise on the subject matter to help us get everything we wanted for our dream bathroom
I contacted Statewide on Saturday and Amin Alavi came to my house Sunday morning to review my project needs and help build a plan for an outdoor patio (concrete and pergola). Amin brought different materials and provided examples of different types of outdoor coverings to help me understand what my options were and build a plan that was in line with my budget and needs. We went outside to take measurements and brought them inside to help me understand what the space would ultimately feel like and he made salient recommendations for design, size, and layout.Amin spent 80-90 minutes at the house and never felt pushy or like he was chasing the sale. He seemed truly interested in helping me design the project that makes the most sense for me and my home. Im looking forward to working with Statewide Homes again in the future.
Learned of this company through Home depot representative today. I was informed that this company would come to my home, do an in home estimate for a bathroom remodel and make suggestions. I have an idea of what I am planning, so I showed the person who presented to my home the tiles and stone I would like to use. The man who did not even give his name driving a blue Volvo or VW SUV, did not complete an in home consult at all, but states we only do high end remodels. He does not use home depot or customer supplied materials. I never said I was actually using my samples, I told him this was my idea. From the pictures in the reviews, there are remodels much less high end than my plans, so I am quite confused. If the representative sent to my home represents this entire company, their customer service is despicable. This rep was disrespectful, condescending, dismissive and should live under a rock alone and have no interaction with people. Unbelievably disappointed
Huge project for one of our 2 properties. Incomplete, and refused to return to repair structural imperfections. Its my opinion, and I exercise my freedom of speech, since it was my experience. Thank you for trying to make it right.
On time and very friendly. Explained everything in detail.
I had the pleasure of consulting David Horton on a covered patio. He was very professional in presentation and informative about the process and gave us peace of mind which is priceless. We ultimately didn’t proceed with the project at the time but would definitely recommend Statewide Remodeling to family and friends. We’ll also keep them in mind for future projects.
They installed our extended patio roof. It looks great. They included us in each step and was very detailed with communication. Financing was easy and affordable. Can’t wait to start our next project!
Statewide remodeled our 20 year old master bathroom and turned it into a 5 star hotel bathroom, they did a fantastic job! We are extremely pleased with their work, their team, their professionalism and we would definitely use them again.
Working with Kieth Johnson was a pleasure. He was very helpful and informative about walk-in bath tubs, and helped us find the model and accessories that suited my wife’s needs.
Bathroom remodel. Installers were great -
These people are a scamWatch out for these people! First of all sherry came out and she is extremely rude and had a bad attitude the entire time she was at my house. They claim they will give you a $100 gift card after you have someone come out and that hasn’t happened.
