We recently used MHM Remodeling for our master bathroom remodel. Prior to signing on the dotted line, I had 4 contractors come to our house to provide estimates, and Mike was not only the most detailed with his estimate, he also spent the most time with us, providing suggestions/recommendations. During the remodel, which took almost exactly the amount of time Mike quoted, he and his crew always arrived on-time, kept the area as clean and neat as possible throughout the day, and left the area clean at the end of the day. Also, if a decision was needed that could have affected the look of the bathroom (even if a minor issue), Mike always presented it to us rather than making the decision himself, which we really appreciated!We could not be happier with the end result! I would recommend MHM Remodeling in a heartbeat to anyone looking for kitchen/bath remodeling in Austin.

I have no idea how their work is because they were incredibly rude before they even stepped into my house. I answered the door with my mask on, and when the two people who came to do the estimate didnt have theirs on, they pulled out masks, but the man only put it on halfway without covering his nose. When I asked him to do so, he said, Let me stop you right there. When we do the job, we will NOT be wearing masks.Ok, first, Ive been in customer service for over 20 years. I would NEVER speak to a customer like that. Second, if while working they dont wear masks, thats up to them and completely fine, but I do expect whomever I had contact with, especially in my own home, to have a mask on. We are not out of the woods with covid yet. This is not asking too much. But I will not deal with someone who is that aggressive over something so simple as our first interaction.Be nice to potential customers.

I contacted Mike after becoming frustrated searching and dealing with contractors for my master bath who couldnt provide a bid for a couple months or thought the job was to small. Mike was very responsive and understood that I wanted to get the project started as soon as possible. He has a tight schedule but fit the master bath in within a couple weeks. He finished the project on budget and on schedule. Mike does almost all of the work himself and holds his contractors, like granite and glass companies, to the same high standard he does himself.I really wanted a modern feel to the bathroom with clean lines and that is exactly what I got. The tile was installed perfectly and the custom floating vanity is exactly what I wanted. The shower was built with precision and the pebble tile looks amazing. The shower glass door was the last to be put into the bathroom and it was scratched during installation. Mike made the glass contractor replace the glass three times before finishing the job without any argument or negative feedback. Mike did an amazing job for a reasonable price. He is meticulous about the small details, like a true craftsman. He always left the house clean and made every effort to protect the non construction areas of the house.He did such a good job that I immediately scheduled him to redo my guest bathroom which I had not planned on doing. Again, he managed to fit the project into his schedule in a short amount of time and he finished the project ahead of schedule and under budget. I cant wait to hire him for a full kitchen remodel soon.

In the span of six months M.H.M has remodeled our- Master Bath,- Kitchen and- Guest BathBasically, each room was stripped and taken down to studs then rebuilt with our designs and much appreciated inputs from Mike and teams. In all three cases the results exceeded our expectations. The work was done without delays, on budget each time with beautiful results. M.H.M. will be our first choice for any future work.We delayed our master bathroom remodel until we had a shower leak and couldn’t use the shower any longer. They have helped us with several design choices and definitely saved us from an accident waiting to happen water heater placement.

We recently bought a 2006 house that had some, ahem, needed love and upgrades. Our first big project actually turned out to be our master bathroom rather than our kitchen. After hearing so many horror stories about contractors, we interviewed 7 contractors before settling on Mike. He was on the higher end of the bids we received, BUTTTTTTTT he is upfront on all costs, NOTHING hidden, which, after looking closer at other bids, they had many hidden costs. Besides, OMG does his work speak for itself. He was on time every day, kept in communication with both me and my husband about any delays(there were NONE, and he actually finished a few days early!), and was beyond conscientious of making sure our home was protected during construction. He treats every job as if that room were in his own home, so he gives great feedback if I chose something that wouldnt stand the test of time, or would be a fad and would end up dating our place. I have NO design bones in my body, and he was pretty patient with me when I wouldnt have an idea of what I was looking for with regard to color schemes. We absolutely LOVE our new bathroom and recommend Mike to everyone we know! Our biggest issue now is, how soon can we renovate the other rooms in our house!

June 15, 2016MHM Remodeling had remodeled our bathrooms to perfection. So we knew that when we wanted our kitchen remodeled, the only person to call was Mike @MHM. Since we knew first hand of the expert craftsmanship and attention to detail Mike demands of his work, it was a no brainer, and sure enough we were not disappointed. Mike and his helper Nick did an amazing job on our kitchen remodel. He listened to what we wanted and had some great input of his own that was welcomed due to his many years of experience and vast knowledge of all facets of remodeling. I think we worked well as a team, which any remodel should be. We also had to leave several times for different reasons and could completely trust Mike and Nick to put everything away and lock the house up.
