The cleanliness and professionalism of everything impressed me. The ambiance and vibe is one that I really enjoy. Also, a tall mirror is very useful for seeing your entire outfit and access to some high-end fragrances on the way out after your cut. Its good to see them trying out some new things :)

I just recently moved to Austin Texas from Arizona. Finding a new barber in a new state where you don’t know anyone is daunting to say the least. I expected to go through the usual few rough haircuts until I found the right shop/barber. Fortunately, I found Darius on the very first haircut here in Austin. I knew 5 minutes into the experience that I didn’t have to/wasn’t going anywhere else for haircuts in Austin. Darius’ attention to detail and professionalism is unmatched. Everything from the music, service, cleanliness, and conversation was top notch. I got my hair washed, a head massage with a machine I’d never seen, hot towel on my face, and ended with some beard oil on the neck and hair lotion in my head. I also liked getting the haircut in a suite rather than an open crowded barbershop. The haircut I received was one of the very best I’ve gotten to date. He made sure to explain everything he was doing and about to do during the haircut so that I was comfortable. The haircut was well worth the price, you’re paying for the entire experience. You’ll find that to book an appt w/ PFL is somewhat pricey but after the experience I had - its so worth it. Your paying for the service which is amazing. Shampoo, beard sculpting, beard washing, & a great cut are a what came with package I selected. I have to say...I was really impressed. I urge folks to check this service out, especially if your in a transition from one shop/ barber to the next. It’s high high quality!PS - for the fellas with beards, it’s so legit.
