Great company, fast and knowledgeable. The tow truck driver that brought our car back home to us was professional, courteous and very helpful. He helped my husband get the car in the parking place. (The steering was out and wouldn’t turn on as well). It took the tow driver, my husband and our neighbor to get it in the parking space. Thanks for all yalls help especially short notice! Definitely will recommend and will use myself.

The driver was fast, courteous, and didnt beat my car up along the way. Also, we were on foot, and the driver was nice enough to allow us to ride with him. Most wrecker drivers do not allow you to ride with them.

Excellent towing company. Trustworthy. Handsome tow truck. took about an hour for the tow to arrive, but given it was at midnight, i thought it was reasonable. They answered the phone promptly, and tow truck guy was friendly and professional. Price was reasonable in my opinion, we paid about 225 for 10 mile tow.

In order to pay, you have to provide your card info over the phone. It’s pretty sketch and opens the door for fraud. Instead, they should send a text to their customers with a link that allows them to pay electronically and securely.

Helpful, knowledgeable, and courteous dispatcher. Tow truck arrived when quoted (45 minutes on Friday evening in downtown Austin) which is rare! Tow driver was friendly, quick, had the correct tools to remove the flat tire, and filled the flat to see if it could be repaired. Top notch service!

Would have bin 4 stars, seeing how i was 2nd on my drivers list & the guy answering the phones telling me oh, itll be bout 20-25 minutes & being told this every hour for 4hrs, while i had an appartment complex property manager tripping on my son for being broke down on the appt property while having visited a friend who lives in that complex,, BUT im giving 5stars BECAUSE my driver pulled up rite as their driver did & my driver scooped us up before theirs could, which saved me probably close to $300.⁰⁰ in tow fees, storage fees ect ultimately saving the day..PLUS my driver was cooler than a fan with 50 blades.. lol aye, my bad, im bad with remembering names & sh!t homie but uhmm, i appreciate greatly..i recommend and would use your services again if a simular situation was to ever arise.. 🙊🙉🙈

Our truck died about 15 miles from home. We had to leave it there for a few days. We finally called and Isaac was VERY helpful!! He listened to our needs and gave us specific instructions which were very helpful. We had a specific request to get the vehicle in the driveway and he addressed that need. My husband met the tow truck being driven by Jose and they brought it home. It was very interesting to see the professional way Jose got the truck where we needed it. He made it look easy but it wasnt! For that we are very grateful and recommend this company highly! Their personnel are VERY professional, punctual and attentive. Thanks again!!

They are a service that hooked me up with a tow company and charged an extra $66. It is a rip off. Just call a tow company and save $ for car repairs

OMG, Will was fantastic! Came out and changed our tire because we couldn’t even figure out how to get the donut out. He knows what he’s doing, is professional, and he’s fun! We had a great time trading cooking secrets and recipes while he changed the tire. Definitely recommend!!

No one answered the phone when I was stranded on the side of the road for 14 hours

I highly recommend avoiding this service. My parents owned and operated a towing company for over 20 years and this caliber of service is unprofessional and disappointing. They outsource their towing and charge an $89 service fee to dispatch. I specifically stated the make and model of my vehicle and that it wouldnt start. Anyone in the business knows that if they vehicle doesnt start and if its a luxury vehicle a flatbed should be provided. It was not. I was told if I cancel the service that he was going to charge $89 service fee (That I did NOT consent to prior to the service.) He also gave my credit card number in a text message to the tow truck driver. Very unprofessional and upsetting when its already stressful getting your vehicle towed.

This is a bait and switch operation. Its an internet company that subcontracts out with tow companies. I was quoted $120 for a tow that was scheduled for 9 AM. The tow truck driver was told 10 AM so I sat in the heat for an hour. The driver charged me $172. When I called the main line to complain, they said extra charges were at the driver discretion. When the driver called back he said he was told to charge $89 plus $75 and then a credit card fee on top. No one told me there was a credit card fee up front. DO NOT USE THIS SHADY COMPANY. Call towing companies directly.

I called to get a tow and was quoted $35 to send a truck and then an additional $30-$70 for the actual tow. When the driver from ABBA towing showed up, he suggested trying a jump start. This jump start thankfully worked when previous ones hadnt, so a tow was unnecessary.I was charged $196 for a truck to come and jump start my car. I was initially charged $796 but I spotted that amount and the driver said he accidentally pressed a 7 instead of a 1 on his phone. Not sure how that happens.$196 is an absurd amount for a jump start. It is very unethical to promise maximum around $100 for a 5 mile tow and then charge double that for not even being towed.I called their call center later in the day to try and get an answer for that number, but all the call operator mumbled was Call your driver and then hung up.By reading these reviews, (which I should have done before using their services) this is a common occurrence, and all the owners are doing are saying Sorry this happened. and not actually doing anything about it.EDIT: After contacting ABBA towing directly and speaking with them, they refunded $38 and explained that they have their own pricing that doesnt match up with what Towing Austin Pros are advertising. If this is true, this problem must be fixed.

I should have read all the reviews. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They boasted honest and trustworthy pricing with the comfort of no hidden fees. Yet SOMEHOW, I was quoted $79.99 on the phone, and their website showed pricing as $59 for the service call, $35-75 for the basic tow, and $3 per mile. We towed it 2.7 miles. I was quoted 30 minutes for arrival and a man who spoke no English showed up AN HOUR AND A HALF Later (of course, after my originally selected mechanic was now closed), with no arrival phone call like I was advised. They followed this by trying to charge me $214 for 2.7 miles. ABSOLUTELY DISHONEST AND ABSURD. The representative on the phone couldnt even tell me the difference between the $35 tow fee and the $75 tow fee, he just said I dont know. He eventually talked me down to $174, which is STILL MORE EXPENSIVE THAN THEIR HONEST AND UPFRONT PRICING CHARGE YOU CAN CLEARLY SEE ON THEIR SITE. Tower beware. Call Pep Boys and join their club for a $30 tow within 10 miles if you need something quick and close. I was so upset with myself for selecting this HORRIBLY DISHONEST towing company just because they were the first Google result. WILL TELL EVERYONE I KNOW TO STAY AWAY THE EXPERIENCE WAS SO POOR.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.After waiting for an hour and a half for a tow, I called the driver to see where he was, to which he replied for which car?, telling me that I was in a queue and was not being actively helped. He then told me he would find out and call me back, which he never did.Shortly after, I was able to get my car started, and while driving home, called to cancel the tow truck which was still not on site. I was told that the driver was pulling up and that I would have to pay a cancellation fee.I asked why I would have to pay a fee for waiting an hour and a half while the driver was servicing OTHER CLIENTS, and was told that it was because my driver was FINALLY on site. Shortly after, I was contacted by this driver, a completely DIFFERENT driver who said he was on site and wanted to confirm the cancellation.In short, I was charged a cancellation fee because I got my car working myself while my FIRST driver took other calls for an hour and a half and cancelled on ME. I was never warned of this process or even given an ETA. Terrible communication and terrible business.

Four hours of my life I will never get back. Scheduled a tow for between 930 and 1030 the next morning called them at 10:30 as nobody had showed up. They said they would have the driver call me within a short time. He did not. I called back again and this time they said he had called me but I had canceled the service, I had not.The dispatcher had a conversation with the driver and they came to the conclusion he had called the wrong number. Told me I would be contacted again. I was not. Called them back again this time they said they would contact a different driver. He called me in a short bit and informed me that it would be $195 to tow my truck which is not what I was originally quoted. I informed him of this and he said he would have somebody call me back. The gentleman who call me back I assume is his dispatcher informed me that if I wanted my truck to be towed safely it would cost $195. I told him I would get back to him. Call back Tito and informed him of it he made up some sort of excuse and I told him that was unacceptable. He then said he would see if he had anybody else available and asked me to hold on. After a short bit he got back on and told me that that was the only tow truck available. I informed him I would call him back, called American Express and canceled my card, and then called Tito back and told him we would not be doing business.

Was quoted $65 to $95 depending on how far, upon driver arrival. The quote changed to $250Then charged an 89$ cancellation fee.DO NOT EVER USE THESE SCAMMERS!!!!SCAM!! Be aware

Very efficient gets the job done right no hassle

I needed a jump start. They took an hour and a half to arrive. The website makes a big deal of honest pricing. It quotes $59 for a service call and implies it includes a jump start but the price kept on going up as the arrival time was delayed to $130. The contractor they farmed it out to was there less than 2 minutes because I had everything ready to go. They refer calls to contractors outside the city and charge a huge markup. No one should use this service.

Don’t use this place! John was going to charge me a $59 hookup fee for canceling the tow. The driver was going to be another 45 min. Customers don’t need to pay fees for your delayed service or phone tag. Call 1st call towing. They were great.

Great service jumped my international truck in no time

$120 for a jumpstart. This company is a middle man, they dispatch other tow companies to make the service calls. The guy that showed up said if I would have just called his company, the fee would have been $60. Such a rip off and the websites “honest and upfront” pay structure didn’t exist. They don’t deserve the 1 Star. Call ANYONE else!

I received excellent service tonight. The best service I have ever received! He came within 30 minutes and he didn’t even have to hook my car up. He was able to get my car in gear and push it into the spot. Thank you for your service if I could give 10 stars I would!

I had my car towed 6 miles from UT to South Congress. I understand the $55 basic charge they insist on putting on your credit card. There website says local service $35 to $65. They towed my car 6 miles and charged me $120. I called to ask why. No answer. I ask...What constitutes a $35 tow...no answer. I asked the manager the same question. No answer. They said they would have the driver call me to explain. Do you think he called. NO!!!! Look... I know Im screwed on this. I just want to warn everyone else. I bought a car at auction from pro tow this week, and I wanted to write about my positive experience. The ladies in the office were very pleasant and helpful. I had a trailer but I needed to hire a tow truck to load it because there was no key and the steering was locked at an angle. They quoted me an amount that I considered low. My tow driver was very polite and worked really hard to put it on the trailer. One of the managers stopped by while my driver went on another call and helped tie down the load to the trailer. These people went out of their way and spent extra time and effort that I greatly appreciate. I will always recommend this company and I wish I could give ten stars instead of just five. KMBrock

Don’t give em your debit or credit information when u call them they say they won’t charge you and still will charge u. Even if you cancel it I tried to talk to the owner and he and they put u on a hold forever he told me talk to the dispatch and he didn’t pick up and you’ll still get charged please don’t get their service... horrible experience. I just gave em a call for a tow truck for my bike and I asked em how long it’s going to take they said 45 min took my info and I told em I don’t want to get their service I can’t wait that long next thing you know they charged me $80 for nothing ??

Do NOT use this service. Not professional, not prompt, dispatch sent incorrect address to contracted tow truck, needed one tire changed and had to wait 2 hours on the side of I35. When I called I was told I’d have service in 30-45 minutes. When I called to inquire, the dispatch was rude and demeaning. I repeat DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. They also take payment BEFORE service.

Dishonest and horrible service. Our technician had a blowout on Mopac Expressway, so I called this local tow company to get a tow to a nearby tire shop. I was told on the phone it would be $89 plus mileage and about 30-40 minutes. Over 2 hours and $200 later we made it to the tire shop which was 10 miles away. I called several times for whereabouts of driver and never got a clear answer until he was 10 minutes away. When I questioned the amount of the bill I was told it was $89 service call fee for them to show up and an additional $90 for towing, plus $4 a mile and that they had a recording of our conversation stating this was how it worked. Save yourself some money and frustration and call someone else.

Scam artist, low cost tow my a**. I called and got a quote on the phone $60 hookup fee, $49 tow charge with 10 miles included and $3 extra per mile. My bill $181 for 12 miles. I cant speak with the original person that gave me the quote and all the charges are now different. I had no choice but to pay it because Im at work and the car is being dropped off at the dealership. Very bad business model.

Very shady pricing structure. Was quoted $130 for a local tow of a project car that Im moving to a new home. After not showing up at the agreed time window on Sunday I called the office and they told me their drivers truck was broken. It would have been nice if they had called me about this before I had gone to my old property to wait for the truck. I rebooked for the next morning. Next morning the driver calls me and quotes me $195 plus mileage. I told him I wasnt ok with the price as it was at least 50% higher than what the office quoted me and he said hed call the office and the office would call me. The office never called me so I had to call them and they said theyre only a dispatcher and only the driver can give the final price. I found the experience to be very different from what their website states about upfront pricing so now Im off to uhaul to pull it myself for $50.

Same experience as some others. Quoted a price of $65 plus $3 a mile with first 10 miles free. The driver told me it would be $150. $69-90 more than the quote.Here is how the hustle works: the quote is for a service fee ... Which is just them coming out, even though *you ask for a tow*. They dont quote you a tow, they quote you to come out ... Presumably as if they would fix your car without towing. The tow is extra.. Also they get your card and charge it immediately. Pretty sweet hustle right?

First they could not give me a set price and the price range could be from 128 to 190.. ok i took it and booked for 830am. Next day 830 comes around and nothing, called almost at 9am and they stated the timeframe was 830 to 930 which they never mentioned to me and this is important becouse car needed to be in shop by 10am. Then i receive a call from driver stating he doesnt work for them and he would get to car and give me a price??? What was the point of getting quoted with the other people then?? Well now car is being delivered late and hoping car shop will make time before leaving for holiday vacation. Horrible business practice. Called into dispatch to get a tow. Asked about charge for the service to get speed reading reply of “59 service charge and driver will determine if it’ll be 39-79, I’m ready for your card number”. Reply was the same 4 times when I tried to get clarification of charge. Driver called 15 mins later to ask where I am and said charge is 144. Explains if you’re being towed from parking lot to the next then it’s 59+39. Anything further than that then it’s a full tow service so it’s 144 up to 10 miles.

My car flooded out last night in a strange situation. The driver was there extremely quickly, and helped me get my car to a safe location. Once we arrived and after I had payed, he even took the time to try and help me get it started, something he did not have to do but was greatly appreciated. Driver was nice but DO NOT use this service. They charge to contract tow drivers. Call tow drivers directly. What they quote you and charge are two totally different prices. I called ahead to schedule a tow in advance, they wouldnt accomodate my time because they didnt want to drive during rush hour. 24hrs? So i compromise and schedule a later time and they show up 45 minutes late for a 5 mile tow that cost $165.

It sucks with you are put in a situation where you dont have time to check reviews and these guys know that! The dispatcher was very informative and polite, The tow-truck driver was polite and took care of my van (Thank You) He did not mind that I stood and watched him load my van onto the truck. I thought I got very good service and would recommend this company to all my friends. The pricing was very fair 35-65 basic up to 10 miles then $3 a mile after that.

I was stuck in the express ln and towing austin pros showed up in 15 minutes on a busy saturday night.

Waited over 3hrs for a simple flat tire change. I called 7 times after the 1 and 2 hr marks to try to cancel. was put on hold each time for over 30mins or hung-up on (to avoid me cancelling the service before the guy got there so they could still get paid). OVER THREE HOURS. The guy finally gets there and doesnt have his card swipe device and tells me i have to pay an additional $10 for him to enter in the App. I told him he should cover that b/c he should have the card swiper. He just looked at me said, nope. thats not how this works. you pay me. it was late and i just wanted to go so i agreed to pay it. It was such a scam. The call center was unprofessional and left me on hold intentionally or hung-up on me intentionally to avoid my cancellation of service.

Called and was told $55 call fee + 35-65 fee after tow depending on service and extra over 10 miles.Everything went fine, operator got there, my car could run and drive so it was driven up on truck, very fast and easy load.Drove 4 miles to the car shop.Driver billed 65 + an extra 5 for a processing fee. So you have a non-specialized/easy load, a 4 mile city street drive and you bill max rate plus a hidden processing fee? What a dishonest representation of pricing.
