I went in for a tire repair. I explained I was experiencing a mild wobble in the rear. They recommended balancing the tires. They seemed very knowledgeable and convinced that would resolve my issue. After $120.00 and about 30min later I was back on the road. As soon as I reached 60mph, I noticed a violent wobble coming from the front and my steering wheel was shaking. I went back to explain what was going on and was met with frustration and an unwillingness to help. The same two guys who were ready to take my money, were now explaining its my rotors or a suspension related problem. A third guy comes over to try and sell me a $150-$200 diagnostic service that would be waived if I choose to proceed with the recommended repair. At this point I felt they were just taking advantage of me. I simply asked that the tires be rebalanced but they refused and said no warranty. Im advising all austinites to avoid this place like the plague.

$175 for an oil change and I provided the new oil and oil filter. Only went there because it was an emergency and they used it as an opportunity to price gouge me to no end. All I needed them to do was take off the old oil filter because Jiffy Lube put it on too tight. It took them maybe 5 minutes to complete and they didn’t even call me when it was done. I had to go back up there and see my car sitting out to know it was ready. I’m all for mom and pop shops and small business but this isn’t the way you build a community that supports those businesses.

HORRIBLE AND VERY INEXPERIENCED WELDERS AND THE OWNER DOESNT CARE ABOUT HIS BUSINESS! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!I went to this shop to get my motocycle muffler welded they told me they could do the job for 35$. Turns out they couldnt.not only they ruined my muffler they also charged me 15$ for trying ....Unfortunately I cant give this shop zero stars because this is definitely the worst experience Ive ever had.

The guys at Nicky’s put an exhaust for my Mustang GT and after they were done, it made the car roar like it should have from the factory. They did an amazing job and would recommend for exhaust work.

I had an issue with a faulty fuel pump that was recently installed, and David the manager was helpful in resolving the problem. Just went here for an inspection. They told me I needed 2 new tires (at $145 EACH!) and failed me when I didnt buy them-I barely drive and my tires are only a year or two old so I knew this was a load of BS. I went to another inspection place and passed with no problems. Places like this are the reason people dont trust mechanics.

They people are respectful and welcoming, but I don’t recommend this place at all !!! They charge away too much and they don’t seem professionals, they just gussies you are the one who’s gonna pay, stay away and looking for another place trust me

Came to this shop because of all the great reviews and will also do the same thing. This shop deserves these 5 stars not just for the great quality but also their friendly customer service. Only had a certain amount of money and this shop worked with and gave my just what I needed. Am very pleased with the job and would recommend anyone to come for their car needs.

I recently bought a Dodge Challenger & called a couple of places to help my vehicle get it straight pipe. I called Nicky’s & they were super friendly & easy to work with. They managed to help me that same day & offered me a better deal than other places I contacted. They showed me the before and after and explained to me what they did to my car. Amazing work & amazing crew. Highly will come back when another mod is needed.

This place is a rip off. They sold me a used tire with good tread but had a big crack on the sidewall. So I went back to replace it and they tried putting a bald tire on my car. I ended up leaving unsatisfied with the original cracked tire they sold me. Do not go here. They are a rip off. They will take your money and smile.

This place has the best service Ive encountered, without the overcharge of Discount Tire or Wal-Mart Auto. Our tire puttered out right as Rick and David were driving by, and they jumped out to give us a hand. They put on the spare tire and gave fast, friendly service without demanding any compensation. We drove to the shop to get the flat tire checked out, and they replaced it in no time. Were so appreciative of their help and sincere customer service!

Overcharging just because my car was a Mercedes. Same exhaust install on an Honda accord is $80. Exhaust I had was a direct bolt up nothing special needed. They looked at each other and just spat out whatever price they could think of. I gladly said no and will never give them my business.

I was on vacation driving my daughters car when one tire started going flat. Called Nickys early on a Saturday and they took me immediately and repaired the tire and recommended not just a plug but an additional patch inside the tire for safety. 25$ one and done. Rick was great in helping identify the most cost effective fix and getting back on the road in less than 15 minutes. Would highly recommend them. Super customer service

This place saved my day. Rick was leaving as my tow truck driver pulled up. I had gotten a screw in my tire during rush hour and had no idea where to go for help. Rick stayed open and made sure my tire was fixed correctly and safely. I also appreciated that he let me use his umbrella while we were standing outside

Great place. Good people. They even have credit option to help you if needed. Got my exhaust done on my 2019 Challenger. Now my Hemi is breathing a bit better. Nicky is good dude. Their welds are very clean for the exhaust welds. They also do tires, normal car stuff too. Check them out

Great and exceptional service these guys went above and beyond for me, offered me if my tire didn’t come that day they would give me a full refund and my tire brand new. Took the time to explain what was wrong with my tire I got from somewhere else . These guys are good at what they do, I will forever do business with them .

Whatever you do, do not go to this shop.This place is a rip off. I took my car to get some welding done on the muffler they took forever to find out how to weld it, mind you that I already showed them the parts that needs to be welded. they took forever then the guy got the nerve to tell me that he tried but couldnt do it and that they will charge me for the labor.these guys have no experience at all. bunch of amateurs and thieves.if you really care about your car this is definitely not the place to be.

Hands down the best auto shop ever. Needed to get new motor mounts and had been a couple of places that quoted me really high prices. Came here and he replaced them for half of what the other places charged. He actually took the time to show me what was happening and how he would replace them. They really try and work with you on the price. Honestly while Im currently out shopping for a new vehicle it felt really good to know that I wasnt wasting too much money on my current one!!! Excellent service!!!

These guys are my go-to neighborhood shop for tire problems. I had a leaky tire, filled it up at home and they were close enough to drive to before the air went out. And they fixed it up super-quick!

Nickys is a great place to get any type of work done on your car. I personally with a few other friends have gone to get some work done on our cars and first of all the customer service is wonderful. Usually most mechanic shops have terrible customer service but at Nickys they were really polite and they took their time to help us out. Theyre fast at their work and they do a great job. I highly recommend getting any work done on my car there.

He did me right and he charged about half of the good ole boys price. I dont understand the bad review I saw about his shop. I do know some people are just toxic and feel they can get back at someone that upset them as they themselves go about life upsetting just about everyone they come in contact with. Its just sad when people do that and it just does not add up in when you read over the other reviews.

Welder DAVID is completely incompetent and cant get his welds to hold . Tips were welded on unlevel and at different heights. My EXHAUST WELDS broke THREE times and then he wanted to charge me to fix them.DO NOT GO HERE unless you want a headache!

These guys honed in on my emergency situation and charged me $50 for a used tire that wasnt even the correct size. They then proceeded to quote me $130 for a new tire. Were talking trailer tires here, nothing special. Pretty crooked in my eyes.

Shady characters quoted me a price and when they finish the work he charged me twice that price. When asked for the parts that they had replaced they said I couldn’t keep them. So I went ahead and kept my parts and the kept my truck hostage. Had to call APD to get my vehicle back. Don’t make the same mistake I made. Cheaper isn’t always cheaper paid twice as much.
