I bought my used Ford from Leif Johnson last year and whereas the buying process was great, service has been disappointing. I have made appointments ahead of time and have had it in the shop 3x since then and each time has been LONGER and more painful than the last. A simple oil change takes at least a day. Something more than that and you are looking at at least 3 days with no car. At this very minute, I am waiting to get my car after almost 8 days for a repair. When I talked to my service rep, he said they couldnt even LOOK at it until 3 days after I dropped it off. Why even make an appointment if they cant even look at it? Want to get a rental car? Sorry, thats 3 weeks out. My last car was from Covert and LJ needs to take some lessons on service after the sale from them. They are ready for your car when you book an appointment, timely in repairing your vehicle, offer loaner vehicles and best of all, they WASH your car and vacuum it before returning it to you. I will not be taking my car back in to Leif Johnson unless I really have to because of my warranty. I will also definitely think twice about purchasing a future vehicle from them as well as the service department and the sales department should be more symbiotic.

My car has been in the shop 3 times now with the same problem which hasn’t been fixed. My car overheated 3 times now, they assure me the last time that it was fixed. I can’t take it to another dealer because, I will be charge again for the work that should have been done correctly the first time. They wouldn’t provide with a car either so I have not been able to get to work or anywhere I needed to be. They don’t communicate with you. Horrible experience so far.Update: my car has been in the shop for over a week now. They finally provided me with a rental.
Their service is horrible, they dont know how to communicate, nor do they return phone calls, this applies to the service writers and their managers. I have had this experience with Mr Martinez on 2 jobs and a different service writer on another job....absolutely terrible customer service.
Since my first schedule maintenance in 2018, Ive taken my F150 here. Always great customer service with Megan & Chris! Definitely appreciate drop off, but could improve on the wait time.

The service department at Leif Johnson on E Koenig has really declined. I have made 5 phone calls and the husband made a wasted trip to the dealership to get a replacement key for our vehicle and we still have no key! Misinformation, poor follow-up, and folks walking around like there isnt a pandemic going on. I think Ill take my business elsewhere.

It is a terrible service they are not friendly nor do they care about your problem. They do not have diesel mechanics they are not able to even detect the problem with the computer if you want to leave the car to see when we can fix it. They do not even check the Vin to see what covers your warranty. Best place Maxwells Ford there if we were treated right away like it was.
