Rauls is a great place to get your car worked on. I have multiple cars fixed there with a variety of problems and they always do a good job.

1st time there. Went in for an inspection, it was clean and the office person was pleasant. They sqeezed me in so I was very happy with there service!

We brought our Jeep in after it dead on us. We found out the vehicle we just bought from DriveTime had almost no oil in it. Thankfully Rauls was there to help! I am so thankful for them and their staff!

If you are looking for a great, trustworthy, honest mechanic then you need to go to Rauls. Its a family owned business and been around since the 80s. I bring both my 1999 F250 Diesel and my BMW here. You wont be over quoted and they wont do work unless it is absolutely needed. I personally work with JOHN but his brother is great as well!

I had a really great experience with my Toyota Hybrid. I was recommended to them through AAA. John tried charging my dead battery first to save me the cost of buying a new one (since I was not sure at the time if I needed an entirely new battery.) When it turned out that I did need it replaced, he was prompt and communicative. I really appreciate their quick turn around.

This place was awesome! I went in to get my scooter inspected and they were attentive to the paper work and even let me fill my tires with air:) I recommend trying this place out. Great staff!

They straight up denied service.Asked them to literally JUST BOLT ON a set of wheels onto the truck. Not mount/balance. A 15-20min job of taking lug nuts off and putting them back on and they refused.They pulled a 100% BS excuse saying “we can’t put them on there cause it’s a different brand and the backspacing”. Which I know is a lie because the first excuse started out with “with this lug pattern it may not fit” even though it’s the lug pattern that’s designed to fit.If you don’t want to do the job, just say you don’t want to do the job. Don’t lie to a car guy whose tools are locked in a storage unit due to a move from a different city.

Gave us the brush off. I need a valve cover gasket replaced as my Lexus is leaking oil. At first they said that it could be engine blow back and could cost thousands. Then told my husband while returning his call the next day that my engine is done and they dont do that. What?? I called Bearden Automotive and they knew exactly what I was talking about and quoted me a price right over the phone. Taking my car my car in tomorrow. I told him about what the guy at Rauls told us and he said that it made no sense, my car is running fine its just leaking oil. He also stated that they repair these issues all the time. Ive taken my car to them in the past and they did do good work. I shouldve called them first. I would never even consider taking any car that I own to Rauls in the future. I couldnt trust someone who is dishonest from the beginning.

I took my car to Rauls and had all four wheels and tires replaced. I also had brake work done. They were friendly, professional and did an amazing job! I was so impressed that when my parents came to town and needed a headlight replaced on their hybrid car, I sent them to Rauls. They were awesome with my parents as well. I will recommend Rauls to everyone I know!

Went there for state inspection. The guy (Javier, I think) was professional, courteous, and thorough. My family has been doing business there since they opened in the early 80s. That means a lot to me.

Went in for a repair, charged me $830 and was supposedly fixed (would of been $880 but I had AAA membership). it was not fixed, called again, wanted $234 for another service that the $830 was supposed to fix in the first place, and was surprised they wanted to charge me even more considering I had already paid them quite a bit. Car completely stopped while mid traffic, two weeks later. Went somewhere else.

This place is great - friendly staff!!! They also have a nice waiting area compared to some other shops I’ve been to.

Kind people, didnt try to jerk me around and make extra money off me. Fixed only what needed fixing at a good price. Highly recommend!

Had a Buyers Inspection BEFORE purchasing a used car. $150 but so worth it! Took a couple of hours and was given a complete inspection of all major car components (engine, alternator A/C, hoses) body, tires and computer system etc. Javier gave a printed report, suggestions and repair pricing to barter with the dealer. I will never buy a used car again without this small investment... Many Thanks!

I used to take my 2 cars there for state inspection for years. Its a simple enough task and they did it. Then one day they mess up the data entry / scan of the vehicle inspection details into the system and I had to take my car there 3 times before they could enter it correctly.Since I have been going there for so long I can accept a mistake if they apologized for it, admitted that it was their fault and fixed it. But, they didnt. The person who did the data entry apologized, but the main mechanic (the tall guy) blamed the fact that the car was old and how they generally dont do inspections on old cars and that is why there were problems. That is complete BS. This had absolutely NOTHING to do with the car or the inspection required, it was just that they didnt enter data correctly. I told them that and he had nothing to say but make excuses.I am sure he will make excuses when the job they do doesnt perform as expected.I wont be taking my cars there anymore.

We came in for an inspection. They took our keys started the truck.. it hadn’t ran for maybe 10 seconds. Turned it off and brought our keys back and told us we had an exhaust leak. We thought it was a little strange because like I said the truck ran for no more than 10 seconds. We took it to another shop in Liberty Hill and they turned it on drove it... tried to find and exhaust leak and there wasn’t any hooked it up to the computer passed all emissions testing and everything. Kinda felt like he just didn’t want to deal with us.

Great locally owned, family, honest auto shop. I had my Prius battery replaced and am very satisfied. They offer full hybrid car service, dont worry theyll take care of you.

They do honest business and will work with your schedule. Each time I go in they have my car done within a few hours, and I never have to make an appointment. I have a 2003 Saturn L200 and Ive come here for a flat tire ($35 and I didnt even have to go in since I left my car there before they opened and went to work) and a starter replacement.They found an oil leak when changing my starter, and without me having to ask, they took pictures of the leak to show me why the leaking oil caused my starter to go out ($250, not including starter cost since I bought it myself). Fixing a car isnt cheap, and I find their prices to be fair considering labor and business costs.Ive been to some nightmare places that want to charge me too much, or do a terrible job (never go to Lambs - brakes failed while driving after they fixed them) so I know the difference between a sham and a business with integrity.I think people who posted bad reviews here just dont understand how cars work, how much parts cost, or how much labor and running a business costs. I recommend trying out Rauls at least once.

Great service. Figured out ele problem in one day and fixed at a good price.

For a few days my truck seemed like is was running a little rough, after a few trips.The other day I backing up and my front wheels felt like they were grinding. As I work accross the parking lot from Rauls Automotive, I thought I would ask John to take a quick look. After just a few minutes he strongley urged me not to drive it, he said the wheel bering are shot and it would cause even more expensive repairs. It went in to the shop the next morning and was out by 4 PM the same day! And it didnt cost me an arm and a leg. THese people are honest and work fast. I will be taking my truck back to them again! Best place in town

Awful they cannot rotate tires without causing damage to youre vehicle. Twice they over tighten wheel nuts and stripped lug nuts causing damage, then say it wasnt there fault.Never will go back.
