Worst ever experience!! If u want to get ur car damaged or lose lot of money. This is the place.Let me tell u my experience- earlier AutoZone diagnosed that my car has issues with alternator.Later, i went here to “MIDAS” gave the golden touch where my car went from bad to worse and charged 2 grand. Now the car has starter ignition issues and also ABS. I m totally screwed. I mean i have no words to say. I don’t even trust whether they installed new battery or a old battery. No professional folks to test whether it works or not!!Or i can say they know how to cheat well!!
The entire team at Guadalupe is highly professional and they also price match so no need to shop off of Groupon! Came for the oil change with tire rotation when we were then offered a neat deal on new brakes & rotors, by Ben, which we went ahead and ordered to be safe (better than sorry)! It took about 30-45 mins for parts to come in so that they could get to work on that. They constantly remained busy throughout my visit yet these fellas treated everyone with courtesy & respect as well as remaining transparent on all of their wait times. I was there for a little over three hours, which I did not mind at all (quality assurance takes time and a lot of folks kept coming in requesting similar jobs: oil change, brake inspections, etc., so many cars so little time..). They play great music for those who like to wait inside (must wear a mask, please dont forget!) as well as free bottled water, wi-fi, and hot, fresh coffee. Will gladly give you a call with any and all updates if you decide to leave.Thank you all for all that you do; especially to the manager, Ben!All the best!
Happy to be helped here today by Walker (front desk) and Adam (mechanic). Got straightforward and honest assistance with my car, at a very fair price. Much appreciated!
Went in for an oil change and a tire rotation on my Acura TL. They lost my wheel lock key and acknowledge their mistake BUT their only recommendation was to break off my current locks and install new ones with a new key. The Acura dealership as well as multiple tire shops advised against this route. Breaking off your tire locks will cause irreparable damage to the rims. The obvious solution was to order a new wheel lock from the dealership, but Midas did not offer to do that despite my asking them to do it. Ultimately, I had to order a new wheel lock from the dealership. To make it right, at the very least Midas needs to reimburse me for the cost of the new wheel lock key.
It was pretty bad. i’m here right now and i set an appointment online for 5:30 to 6 and when i got here they said they would not be able to do the oil change because they have 25 minutes before they left. it was pretty discouraging because the manager was on the phone and did not even stop the call to acknowledge me as a potential customer, he just called some other guy who misgendered me multiple times. it just seems pretty toxically masculine. i’ll be going to walmart.update: i happened to stay around until they were closer to closing and i saw a vehicle roll up around 5:48 to get service
Dropped my car off at 11:30 and they told me it’d be 2-2.5 hours. I didn’t get my car until 2:30 but they were VERY BUSY. I was here on a Saturday so I’d recommend a weekday if possible. Other than that for a full synthetic oil change and a complimentary tire rotation at just over 50$ the price can’t be beat. I’ll be back next time I need an oil change for sure
They work very quickly and almost always have your car done before the time they estimated. They’ve got great deals and specials on primary services, you just have to find them online before you go. They’ve never tried to sell me unnecessary services or products and there’s no pressure in upsells. Friendly service.
Place is a joke lol. Come in w/ a Groupon and guy tries to tell me my car only runs full synthetic. Not true and just in the business to upsell. Take your business elsewhere. Also walked in overhearing him trying to scare a customer into a high cost repair. What do you expect? It’s Midas.
Visit started off great but that’s it. Came in for an oil change and air filter. When checking in with an advisor he told me it would be more since my vehicle took 6 quarts of oil, which was not the case as it only takes 4.7 quarts. Gentleman told me he would verify and note it on the invoice. (As per the manufacture it takes 4.7 quarts) When I went to checkout once the vehicle was “complete” I noticed it still had 6 quarts on the invoice, this time it was a new person checking me out. I asked if he put 6 quarts in and he said he wasn’t sure and would ask. I cashed out and walked out to my vehicle and was greeted by the technician who did the oil change. He had the hood open and showed me the dip stick (and sure enough it was way past the max fill line) and told me it was good. Go to start my vehicle and it wouldn’t start and the check engine line was now illuminated on the dash. So at this point I’m literally getting frustrated about the whole situation. Walk back in and explain what’s going on to the original person who checked me in and he told me he did put in 6 quarts contrary to what I told him when I checked in. Told me that they forgot to plug in the mass air flow sensor when changing the air filter…which doesn’t need to be unplugged to replace the air filter and said they would drain the oil that was in the vehicle. If you don’t want your car destroyed don’t take your vehicle here. Inexperienced technicians working on cars when they shouldn’t be. Take your vehicle somewhere were they know how to work on them.
I went into Midas and I came out feeling robbed. I took my car in assuming I needed a new battery. They told me otherwise and tried to tell me that I needed a new transmission. My car is fairly new and something seemed off, so I took my car to my original dealership. Turns out it I just needed a new battery. They attempted to charge me almost $5000 to fix an issue that wasn’t there. Be cautious of not getting scammed if you decide to give Midas business.
The guys were awesome! Quick efficient didnt try to oversell me on anything I didnt need. I had concerns about needing new brake pads, the guys test drove my truck, came back and said pads could wait. I appreciate the honesty...Definitely get there early to avoid long waits. I can set feel the difference with the new oil change and all tire pressures being on point 😳😁
I have never in my life had a better experience anywhere for anything! Midas here at 4001 Guadalupe in Austin Texas is the most amazing place ever! Mr Tyler Emery the sales manager was beyond absolutely beyond so helpful and truly saved me and my familys lives. Turns out that the ball joints on our truck were completely trashed and it was a miracle that we made it to the Midas to get what I thought was just going to be an oil change and tire rotation. He helped me get pre-approved so I could get the work done and get it done today and helped me beyond any means that he had to go through to get me approved and to get this work done for me and my family. I will absolutely never go anywhere else to get a single thing done on any vehicle that I ever own in my life!
Walker was freaking amazing. I loved going here. Cheap, efficient, great attitude, and got a ton of repairs done on my car in just a few hours. If you live in Austin, I wouldnt go anywhere else but here. And ask for Walker, hes not the Texas ranger, but close.
Paid for full synthetic change and tire rotation. Received NEITHER service. SCAMMERS. Don’t go here! Save yourself! I caught them not rotating my tires because I marked them. I didn’t know they didn’t change my oil until my maintenance light came back on TWO MONTHS later!!!! Zero stars.
Never got his name but there is only one employee here actually trying to help customers. He gave me a good discount and was very pleasant. The other employee that I spoke to blatantly tried to scam me out of my money by telling me something was wrong with my car when there was no issue. Upon visiting another shop with another mechanic looking at it (I also got to see) there was absolutely nothing wrong with my car. I wouldnt trust anyone at this place except for the previously mentioned employee and you will know if its him if you talk to him. That one dude is the only reason this gets 2 stars, not to mention it took 3 hours for them to finish up with my car when they told me it was a 1 hour job. I hope this employee in particular gets himself out of that shop and finds refuge somewhere that reflects his good service.
Yesterday I accidentally ran over a curb and damaged the plastic undercarriage guard, so I stopped by Midas to if they would remove the guard because it was dragging on the pavement. It was also time for new brakes. The brakes were fixed in a very timely manner and they removed that guard at no additional charge. I would rather go to the dentist than to an auto repair shop. This was the most pleasant experience ever. Great people at this location, but they extremely busy hete.
Tyler at Midas helped me get my head light fixed on my Mazda. The thing about the headlights on this Mazda is that they are extremely difficult to get to and requires a really particular kind of bulb. Once may car made it on queue, the service was quick, painless, and professional. Tyler kept me informed throughout the entire process and did a great job explaining why my headlight went out and what I can do to keep this from happening. I will be going back for future repairs and maintenance and I suggest others do the same.
Professional..courteous..and quick. An hour from start to finish and my AC is blowing icicles.
I bought a Groupon for an alignment which I was never able to redeem. First visit, they stated I needed new tires with an estimate of about $800 along with shock leak. I buy 4 new tires at NTB for about $300 less. Go back to get my alignment, now the issue is my rotors are warped (another $600) so they can not preform the service. Head over to NTB and they are preforming the alignment which my car needs. Midas lures people with groupons but find reasons to up charge. Buyer beware...waste of money and time...
Tyler, Eddie and Walker are top-notch pros. Guided and advised with care and helpful info. Saved me money and gave me great quotes. Good people. Highly recommend!!
Tyler was very helpful, was able to get me on a finance plan to works for my budget! And all done in a timely matter. 10/10 would recommend for quality customer service and repair services.
You’re not gonna get honest prices here. Last oil change I used a groupon- which was accepted BEFORE the service. Then the shop used full synthetic on my car without my permission, and asked to pay the difference AFTER the work. This year I had a coupon, called ahead of time, and they planned to do the same. SMH
EXCELLENT customer service skills and great mechanics. Came in to get repairs on my Jeep Cherokee, they got me in took a look at the car. They told me what was wrong as well as explained what was wrong. I highly highly recommend these guys, that are just awesome!!
These guys went Far and Beyond what they are required to, they really looked out for me they did not try to say things needed to be fixed that didnt they went out of their way 110% to make sure that my vehicle was driving right they made sure I got what I wanted and that I was able to save money these guys really know what theyre doing and they really do care about the customer which is hard to find these days, and, as a matter of fact they even sent me a text to check on me to make sure everything was still running smooth and that I was still happy the following day. if I could give these guys 10 Stars I would I recommend them to anybody looking to get work done for their vehicle also if you need tires they got some awesome in-house financing available thats pretty easy to get, go check them out they know what theyre doing and theyre not going to try to do anyting to rip you off they will go out of their way to help you and save you money and thats a promise.
Love it here they do already job and work as fast as they can !!!! Mirandas is amazing every one thers great
Very poor service. I wouldnt recommend them at all, I went them for the first time had a coupon from groupon for changing oil, they messed up with under cover shield of my kia sorrento and now its broken, I am following up with them since May 11 2020. and havent received any calls from them to replace the part. Their corporate complaint number is not working. Chris is a manager who is handling the situation you can say he is not even concern about and wheever I call him he just transfer the call to the supervisor. Till date its 3 time they have mentioned the part is missing havent received the part, the part they send was not correct. Please do not go to this location if you love your car.
Do not take your car here. I took it to get the affordable oil change (with Groupon). Then they called me and said that there was an oil leak and the breaks were about to be worn out. I had changed the breaks recently and never noticed a leak. They quoted me at over $1500. I took it to 2 other auto shops the same day to get a second and third opinion. Both told me that the breaks were completely new and there was no oil leak.
The location at Ben White operates on lies and deception. They will go as far as to bold face lie to you over the phone in order to get you there. Liars dont earn my business. However, The Guadalupe location was honest and upfront. They gave me recommended fixes then options that fit my budget and still addressed my maintenance issues. Darius was not as real or practical as come to find out however the actual tech that worked on my vehicle was efficient and knowledgeable.
Super popular location, oil change takes 2+ hrs even if you show up very early. Quality work here, just plan on being here for hrs or drop your car off for the day.
🗣 Heyyy Y’all Get At Tyler He’s The MVP He’ll Make Sure you’ll leave satisfied your car is good to go and he’ll try his best to get all what you need done with !! 💯
The manager himself (Eddie) was dishonest and rude! They dented my car on both sides (the lift was not properly set in place). When I told them, they said its not a major damage and there are other scratches in that area anyways... and that we do the same thing with all cars. Note that this is also a Lexus, so its not cheap to fix that damage. They didnt take any responsibility for the damage and still charged me the full amount. In addition, they lied to me about the brand of oil used. They said they would use Valvoline brand name and they used a different one. When asked, he said the technician doesnt know what hes talking about. I know the technician was the nice and honest guy. They should be ashamed of themselves! Not to mention on top of all this, they took two hours just to do a 15 minute oil change. When I came in, they said it wouldnt take any longer than 40 mins.Stay away from this place and find a mechanic thats honest, ethical, trustworthy and has integrity.P.S. pics of damage are attached.
Easy peasy! Quick accurate & great service!
They were awesome at getting my car together theyre literally the only ppl I go to for all my car needs
Very slow despite have numerous technicians and rude staff.. I only patronized because of a Groupon..NEVER AGAIN!!!!
Everyone working there was very friendly and helpful, and got my car fixed in a very reasonable time. They made sure that all the work they did was well done and thorough.
Waited almost 2 hours for an oil change only to be told they couldnt drain the oil.
The guys here are great. Gave me a honest price and got my car in and out asap!! No surprises and no BS
Had a Groupon for full synthetic oil change with no restriction for European cars. Arrived and they wanted to charge more than the whole service for a Jetta.
Tyler is your best consultant for car repair information and very friendly customer service with a smile. Thank you for having an honest mechanic for our neighors we can all rely on. 😎
They gave me a good deal on repairs and gave me an honest diagnosis for free. Ive come in twice for alignments after having some front end work done, and they did them for free! Great service and great prices. Definitely recommend you take your car here
Fast service. Good prices!
Good customer service, certified mechanics, clean store be prepared to wait for awhile due to a high volume of customers.
Their service was quick. Their staff always friendly. Just came in for an oil change.
I was in between jobs when I went there to have my wheels balanced, and I asked if they were hiring. A short, loud, obese man hired me on the spot. They tried to fire some other guy, to make room for me, without knowing my capabilities, which made me feel like I was getting into a bad situation. On my first day they asked me to tow his tool boxes to their other location. I reluctantly agreed and they paid for my gas. He was back working at this location five days later after they tried to fire him from the other store. I worked there for one week. I showed up on my sixth day and was told I was fired for not producing enough work. I barely had time to get down the flow of working in a new shop before they let me go for not making them enough money. If youve ever wrenched, you know exactly what I mean. My impression is that everyone there is so motivated by greed, or so scared of not making numbers, that they will sell you anything. I was encouraged to sell you things you did not need. I was a professional mechanic for 8 years and this was the worst week of my career. My wheels were balanced properly, and as far as I know the techs there do good work (because a good tech doesnt want comebacks). Just beware, I think that they are only after numbers, and they will take you to the cleaners if you dont know about cars. I feel embarrassed for the good people who work there and sorry for the folks who buy repairs and services they dont need. I also think their environmental standards are subpar. They didnt have shop towels or uniform service while I was there. When the shop was cleaned instead of sweeping the floor they used compressed air to blow all the garbage out the shop doors into the parking lot. Its just a real mess. Better to stay away, I think.
SCAM, very fake reviews (just look at the 1 stars). I had a groupon with wheel alignment. Went in this shop, waited 4 hours, told me I needed $3,000 in parts to be ordered before they can even align. Had it fixed in another shop for $200. Came back. waited another 4 hours, then told me I needed $2,000 in parts before I can align. They refused to align. Left. Called Groupon for a refund. They reel you in with good price oil change, wheel alignment, tire rotation, but find scary damaged parts that need to be replaced urgently. There is always the same 2 people in the front. Both SEEM like really helpful people but thats just an ACT. There goal is to get your car in the shop, charge you a really HIGH price, and ACT like they cant do anything about the high price, and they try to work with you and magically get a $2000 bill down to a $900 bill, but I gurantee you, if you go to a dealer, or another shop, they will do it for far less than that good $900. They love people that dont know about cars so they can rip them off. Also, They always say it will be 40 minute wait, but thats just a way to get you in the shop. While I was sitting in the lobby for a total of 8 hours, I could hear them on the phone tell everyone to bring the car in the shop and that it will be 40 minutes, while its been 3 hours and my car hasnt even been worked on! I heard all the conversation they had and these guys are the scumiest people in the car business is all I will say.
The people here are literally crooks . Be aware of false advertising.
Pathetic customer service and uncertain/infinite wait time even for oil change
Well done repair. Done quickly and relatively cheaply (as far as I know about car parts). I appreciate the owner for cutting a deal on a big, expensive repair.
Got a great deal on Groupon, so called to check in. From the phone call..all the way out the door. The guys were polite & professional. 👍
Brought my car in for an alignment and they said I needed 2 new tires and struts. Okay, fine. I told them I was leaving to go out of town the next morning and they said they would have it by noon the next day. Cool. It’s now 3:30pm and my car is still not done. I’ve been told for the last hour that they are just “tightening things up”. I received no call to inform me that my car wouldn’t be ready on time, I had to call several times. I was told it would be 2 hours and that was 4 hours ago... will never be back.
These guys are FANTASTIC, KIND and CARING! I brought my car here to have it looked at. I was rearended in July and the muffler was bent around the tow hook. My brother straightened it out as much as he could be it left a dimple. They offered to take a look at it for me. They even cut off the muffler pipe behind the dimple at no charge! Amazing people here. You should stop by someday. They list their prices upfront for oil changes and let you know if something is vehicle specific. These guys are amazing!
Tyler was very helpful and affective helped me find out what needed to be fixed and got it fixedThanks
Its a Groupon scam.Theyre over selling with no appointment system or infrastructure.
They men at the counter were very helpful, even though we had some kind of issue with the credit card machine resulting in a 20min delay at check out they remained calm and kind. My A/C is fixed and ready for this TX heat
Friendly and attentive staff at the front desk along with helpful mechanics.
Midas has been my go-to since moving to Austin. They are always quick and have the nicest staff (special thanks to Darius for making this last experience especially great!!!) I love going here and knowing I’ll leave with exactly what I asked for and a smile on my face :)P.S. this location always has a Groupon and they honor them /price match!
THEY WILL SCAM YOU. I came to Midas to get my oil changed. A nice guy helped me out and he was very professional but as I was signing off for my car, another worker told me I needed to get rotors changed bc they were in bad condition and that they could get it done for me. I was very doubtful because my car has only 40k miles on it and I just had work done on it a few months prior. I took it to another shop for a second opinion and the guy at this shop said my rotors were completely fine and there was no grooving like Midas had said. Not sure why Midas employees lied to me about that. They probably thought they could take advantage of me because I was a girl. Beware of they try to sell you and get a second opinion if you’re not knowledgeable about cars.
They are the best place to get your car worked on and highly recommend
Fast, cheap. It was 39.99 for a full synthetic oil change and I was in and out in 35 minutes
Classic car services place. If you’re looking for people who are more worried with their big bosses coming to look at the place than they are with fulfilling everything you paid to have done on ur car than this is the place for you. Also very weird and uncomfortable how they try to get real personal with you and make you think you know zero about your car and the potential issues it is having when you’re about to pay and leave. Will reassure you they are trustworthy and reputable but can’t even rotate tires. Don’t waste your time and money, support a local non chain shop.
Great customer service and quality work at a great price Tyler is a great at what he does
They did an awesome job.I will definitely come back
Ask for Darius with the dreads, he just took 1,000 pounds of stress off my shoulders. Im new to Texas, he helped with engine light that came on after my long road trip, explained what was wrong and helped me get approved for monthly payments on getting my car worked on. Im happy, thank youuuuu Darius!!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Jose and his team were extremely friendly, timely, and professional when I visited Midas for an oil change and tire rotation. I appreciated their kindness, care with my vehicle, and the overall experience. When you can pick practically anywhere to go for an oil change, it is refreshing to see the Midas’ team going the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. I will be back!
These people are awesome trustworthy will come again
Excellent place to get your vehicle services.
My new car repair team is amazing for their services given@ They are beyond caring and adamant to conforming to your vehicle needs to keep you safe on the road! They have programs that are discussed in detail and they assist with applications. These guys do not RIP you off. Truly, fair and legit! The mechanics are thorough and detailed in their work. They are honest and will advise you for needed work if it is a hazardous impairment. Ive been having headaches and dizziness while driving lately. Come to find out my exhaust was leaking and traveled into the cabin. And they fixed it among other issues for a safe travel! #trustworthy especially through the covid pandemic!
This place is great! I just took my car in cause my A/C was out expecting to pay a small fortune, but these guys did a simple Freon re-charge and cabin air filter replacement at a very reasonable price. They also threw in a standard air filter replacement for free. It was also time for an oil change and I literally paid half of what jiffy lube charged me last time. Jose and the other mechanic I spoke with were extremely professional, friendly, and honest people to do business with. I will be sure to return to this location for all future issues with my car.
Courteous and knowledgeable staff. They will tell you if something is wrong but they wont pressure you into fixing it right then. Im always impressed when I take my car here.
The team at Midas on Guadalupe is a great group of people. The staff is always professional, thorough, and both my technician and advisor went out of their way to keep my vehicle on the road. When it came time for a big ticket repair, they explained the process, why it needed to be replaced, and the implications if I ignored the issue. If youre looking for a place that will treat you with respect, Midas on Guadalupe is a good shop.
Good business, did have some issues with work done on my vehicle but the store manager Chris took care of the problem and made sure I was satisfied.
I changed my review on Oct. 15, the day after I visited Midas, because I realize they didnt rotate my tires after charging me for it. AVOID THIS PLACE. Original, day-of review is below:I just got a great deal there: oil change and tire rotation for $19.99. Problem is, Midas has a reputation for luring you in on a good deal and then trying to sell you additional, pricier services. Just like they told the commenter from five days ago, they said I also needed a new rack and pinion steering unit. They also said I needed four new tires. Two maybe, but my other two tires are less than a year ago. In summary, go there for the cheap oil and other specials, but be prepared to say no to additional recommendations.
I I went in for an oil change and they talked me into getting my brakes fixed not that I could really afford it but they made me feel like I could not say now but walker was the nicest guy there
Tried to book an appointment online to get my oil changed. I picked an available time slot and they said within 30 minutes they would confirm my appointment. They never did, so I called about 4 times to check and no one bothered to answer. I understand if its busy and Im the last person to complain, but at least just give me an answer. If today wasnt good, just let me know so I can find a better time????
Charged $314 for an oil change and transmission fluid. Will not be back.
I dropped my car off for an oil change, and was told about 3hrs till ready. So went around corner to central market and they called me back less than an hour and a half later to tell me 🚗 done. It was a great experience, very fast and let me know what else was wrong and what I needed to get done. I definitely recommend them, and will be back again!
Every time I go into this place for an oil change, they tell me they can’t take the car because they can’t get it done . I think the $19.99 deal is just to lure you in to then sell you more services ...
Very professional they service all my cars. Affordable
I took their advice that I needed a brake job, and thought I was overcharged. When I complained they threw in an oil change. The next time, they asked if I had the offer on writing and insisted I needed synthetic oil which cost twice as much as I normally pay.
They are nice folks, and there are things wrong with the car, I understand people are trying to make Living but when they tell you the axels are broke struts are broke, etc and the total will be 2400 thats fine as long as that was true, I had my friend who is a mechanic at Toyota look at it, I went out and bought new axels the same parts they gave in the quote on the paper for 282 a piece at their store only 82 at Auto zone and it turns out that my axels are practically brand new, the real issue is the motor mounts which we bought and he fixed for far less then 2400 they mentioned struts axels and something else but that was the only problem, always do a double check with a mechanic friend it saves a ton of money
PLEASE NEVER GO HERE. I used to go to this Midas for every oil change and tire rotation because they are near my house and the service wasnt bad. However, this last time was a big mess. FIRST OF ALL, they took an hour and a half to do my oil change and rotation, even though I had an appointment, and THEN they didnt even put the lugnuts back onto my rear driver side tire. Yup. You read that right. They didnt attach the tire. It took them an hour and a half to not even finish the full job. The tire popped off while I was driving. I have called multiple times, but they will not give me their insurance information or their managers contact. Neither the owner nor the manager has contacted me to even apologize for the severe negligence that could have COST ME MY LIFE. They had the audacity to offer me a $100 store credit instead of paying for the damages. This place is absolutely disgusting. I will never go back, and I hope to save other people from being injured or killed by their incompetence.
Good customer service. Thanks Eddie and Randall!
Went to Midas on. Groupon. Got me in on short notice. Got me out pretty quick. Best deal ever, nice, kind and friendly staff. I would definitely go there again.
Was waiting until I got an update from the Ford dealer before I wrote my review:I took my basically new Ford into Midas to get an oil change (since I had the Groupon for it). I dropped it off and later that day I got a call from Midas saying that my axles and CV joints were bad on my car and that needed to fix it. I thought it was strange because besides the fact that my car is practically new, those two parts usually never fail and if they do, it is when the car is well over 100,000 miles.I inquired to the person at the register about it when I picked it up. He immediately says, “We tried calling you.” Which they did call, I answered, and the person said they would be calling me back (they didn’t). I asked about what they claimed was wrong with my vehicle and I said that didn’t make sense because the car has less then 40,000 miles on it. He basically tried talking down to me and then said, “If you don’t replace it, you’re wheels can come off as you are driving it.” Obviously that is a huge issue and anyone (no matter how skeptical) would become worried. I turned down the service, then the person at the register says, “Oh yeah, you also have a small oil leak.” So wait, you weren’t going to tell me this either? I left feeling like I was lied to, but I had my warranty still and knew the parts would be covered. I also asked for my receipt and saw that they entered 80,000 miles for my vehicle (which was wrong).I just picked up my vehicle from a nearby Ford dealer and they told me that there was nothing wrong with the vehicle. They couldn’t get it to make the common noises that are associated with CV joint or axles issues, they looked at both parts and the parts in that area and nothing was wrong or worn down on the parts, and they also test drove the car and found that again they couldn’t replicate any of the problems you would find with axle or CV joint issues.Midas flat out lied about my car having problems on it and to top it off, they even tried to scare me into trying to pay over $1,000 for parts and services, when they knew that nothing was wrong with my car. We are talking about times when COVID is rampant and people are losing their jobs because of COVID. Can you imagine if I had lost my job and then thought I had to pay over a $1,000 to fix my car that was never broken? This is the most dishonest service I have ever received and this store needs to be punished because I am sure there are countless others who have gone to this Midas (read the other recent reviews about people have used Groupon) and fallen for their deception.
Fast friendly service. I might have gotten more work done on the vehicle if they wouldve reviewed the inspection with me.
Walking in you get a sense of family and they shoot you straight and they are willing to help any way they can
This was my first time here...and what a wonderful experience. Fast, friendly, professional well done job. Anybody can change oil. Having it done here was a bonus. Ned was a genuine pleasure to work with.I will bring my Blue car in next.Thank you.
Best experience Ive ever had in an automotive store. I went in for an oil change and found out I had a leak with an unknown origin. The technicians took the time to show me the situation and what should happen next. They were knowledgeable and super informative, and even more patient with all my questions and worry. I had time to call the dealership to discuss my warranty, all while they patiently waited to make sure I understood and felt good about the plan before I left the store. Definitely a repeat customer here!
Bought a GroupOn for a 4 wheel alignment. When I got there, Chris (who refused to provide a business card) told me that for a 4x4 truck he will charge extra $90. Quickly changed that to $70 - because its a 4x4 and requires extra work. I asked him to show me in the Groupon description anything related to that - of course, nothing. By the way, my truck has a solid rear axle which requires no adjustments what so ever.
Bobby and Darius were very helpful thank you will be back for sure
Brought my truck into this location to have my tires rotated and to check on the four-wheel alignment that I paid for in February. Same to me I had to pull the one side and a little shimmy and it still. I left my truck there they should have be about an hour and a half and they would call me. I went back about an hour and a half later my truck was parked inside the building on a lift look like but it was lowered down all the way. Walked in and they proceeded to tell me they couldnt fix anything because I needed a new rack and pinion that just started leaking that my shocks and struts were completely bad and needed to be replaced. Then they proceeded to have me fill out a credit application to have these items fixed cuz I told him I clearly didnt have the money to do that during covid-19 right now. how much it would cost and they said that the credit would cover it for $3,000 up to $3, 000. filled out the credit application got denied told him Id get back in contact with him. Got my truck went home and noticed they didnt even rotate the tires as asked. So I wasted roughly all of my day sitting at Midas for them to tell me they did a four-wheel alignment on my truck in February in which time my truck struts and stock shocks were probably bad then cuz you just dont completely blow out struts and shocks in 7 months time. not to mention they were supposed to do the four-wheel alignment on it because I paid for the the year and didnt touch the truck it doesnt look like. Didnt even rotate the tires as I asked. Seems like theyre only after a dollar at this store
OMG PPL Take your car HERE. I was on a panic about my truck and having to come out of pocket for major repairs But Darius is an Angel, truly the best and super professional. He exceeded my expectations and then has bomb mechanics to back him up. I was really thinking Id be without my car for atleast a week, but my car was fixed and with 2 to 3 hrs and it runs better than it did when I bought the car....I am sooo thankful for you guys. Especially Darius your are the ultimate reason for these 5 stars if I could Id give you 10. Thanks guys keep up the good work.
One central principle I appreciate in a business is under promising, over delivering, the service at this location is top notch. Drove by just to get an oil change, was told it was going to take 45 minutes to an hour and I was ok with that. Bobby and Darius made the time pass pretty quickly with their friendly conversation in between helping other clients, when the mechanic came in after 15-20 minutes he had my oil change done and had the service consultants let me know precautionary mechanical issues that I should keep in eye on later. Bobby and Darius helped expedite the process and I was out of there way before my estimated time with a detailed evaluation of my car and oil change. The only complaint I have is that Darius doesnt think the Cowboys will go to the Superbowl, I mean, theyre 0-3 right now but there still a chance haha
I had been to 4 different shops that couldn’t help me with an oil change because they didn’t have a tool that could help with a balled bolt. Angel was able to help immediately and provided some great customer service along with another gentleman that was there. The tool needed came out of Angel’s personal toolbox. Price was fair. Service was excellent.
Went here to get my brakes repaired and get a general inspection on my 09 Camry. I only went here, because I have been going to Midas for many years for brake repair. NOTE: They have a lifetime warranty on the brake pads they install. They gave me a student discount, but were super cryptic as to what that discount was and how it would apply to my bill. Then, after they completed my brake repair, they told me a host of other things that was wrong with my car. This total amounted to an additional $850! I went a few minutes up the street and a smaller shop was able to do the same work for $450, parts included! Nice people here, I guess, but definitely weigh your options. You can get a WAY better deal of similar or even better quality elsewhere.
