I’ve been coming to QualTech on 620 for about 6 years now. I’d say they’re long overdue for a solid review! To put things into perspective, I used to co-own another local automotive shop with my now ex-husband, and although I did not personally repair vehicles, I spent enough years dealing with customers, ordering parts, and writing estimates to be knowledgeable enough to not get screwed over. I used to live just down the street, but even once we moved to Manor I continued making the half hour trip to the awesome folks at QualTech.Normally, I deal with Bill. In fact, until this last visit, I don’t think I had talked to anybody BUT Bill! He’s personable and kind, and I have never once felt like he was trying to sell me anything that my vehicle didn’t need. When work needed to be done that I couldn’t afford, he was very helpful in letting me know what could wait and for how long, and what should be a priority. I’ve never been pressured into anything by being made to believe my car was unsafe if I didn’t attend to it immediately! I really love these guys.Today I dealt with Ryan, and my experience working with him was just as pleasant (as pleasant as spending $2000 can be, anyway!) I went in because my a/c seemed to be underperforming, but a new compressor and condenser later and my a/c blows snowballs. I’m so pleased with every visit I’ve made, and will continue taking my vehicles to QualTech!

Wow! Love these guys. I have worked with Chris twice now after having a bad experience with Mercedes-Benz of Georgetown. Chris made sure everything for my A1 service was taken care of and the price difference was astounding! A whopping $500 less for the same service. Their customer service is excellent and they are always pleasant. They’re great at explaining what the problem is and giving you a time estimate on when it needs to be completed.

I needed a tire patched, so I called to setup an appointment. The person I spoke to was super friendly and got me something setup the very next day. Not only was I seen on time, but the person who collected my keys was also very nice. In less than thirty minutes (as promised) the job was done!Ill definitely be coming back for any future repair needs. Highly recommended.

They were very flexible on timing. I was able to drop my car off at my convenience and they got back to me only a few hours later with their diagnosis and a list of things that they suggested needed to be addressed, with associated costs for each item. The repairs were completed the next day and as of this review all seems to be working well. The people I worked with were all very professional and knowledgeable, and they kept me apprised of status.

We took our SUV in to get checked out before a long road trip. The technician called us a couple hours later that everything checked out fine, but they topped off the fluids and got the tires to the appropriate PSI, as they were low. My husband went in to pick it up and they told us no charge! We choose QualTech Automotive every time because they are always professional, timely and honest. Everyone is so nice! Service is quick. I’ve been a customer for years and always been happy.

My truck has a lot of history with this place because of one accident, long story short, I’ve had my power steering pump replaced 4 times, I’ve replaced my serpentine belt, my rack and pinion system, needless to say I’ve had a lot of work, every incident since the first they’ve given me at a discount or no cost, today I noticed my shifter knob was off and my tires needed to be balanced and aligned and they covered it all under no cost. Honestly I’d highly recommend checking them out, a lot of mechanics are shifty with prices but they show you the products before you buy and they break down all the costs.TL;DR: Extremely polite, extremely helpful and friendly, 36 Month/36,000 mile nationwide warranty. Great service, highly would recommend

Id booked an appointment for an oil-change and tire rotation. That experience was great and I drove in 10 minutes earlier. The car was taken in on time and I chose to watch since the service bay was adjacent to the waiting room. Oil change done in 30 mins and the car is rolled out without the tire rotation. I had to point that out and the car was brought in again and tires rotated. Complete waste of time. Cutting corners / oversight / friday feeling - cant say - but completely unacceptable. I chose to stay, but what about those who dropped off for the service and picked up not knowing what happened? I believe in second chances and hopefully this is not repeated. Very nice and friendly people. I unfortunately have an old car so the repairs were extremely expensive, but due to lack of car knowledge I cannot say if it would have been cheaper elsewhere. Overall I have a positive experience with this repair shop.

Best service I received. Very helpful, professional and friendly staff. I dropped the car during the night, but they did thorough investigation and analysis on the car early in the morning, and called me - explained the problem in detail, along with choices and costs to fix the problem (tire), and suggested the best option to save money. It has been almost 4 months now, and I have not experienced any further problem regarding my tire. I am enjoying my rides. I am very happy, and would go there for any future repair needs. Walked in, requested oil change, they took my car in immediately. Friendly staff, quick service and close to home. They didnt try to sell me on any extras. They actually told me that my air cabin filter was in great shape.

Stopped in without an appointment because my driver’s side window came off it’s track. They were able to squeeze me in even though their day was super busy. Very courteous and professional and didn’t try to upsell me on anything.

I love taking my car to get work done at QualTech. It’s never really “fun” to get work done on your car, but they are people that I trust. I have gotten lots of work done here from new tires to breaks and fixing an exhaust leak. They’re straightforward and have the best prices around. They are also quick. Great place. I’ve only been using them for a few months but am highly satisfied. When I call the call me by name and have my service history pulled up asap. They remembered I use it for work and got me in and out in a hurry. I feel confident that I’ll get good, competent care at a fair price.

Glad that we can trust google reviews, my old accord did not start - AAA confirmed that it was starter problem. Towed my car to their branch and since they did not carry the part got my car next day. I go to QualTech for my yearly auto inspection. I’ve never had to wait at QualTech. Plus they always remember me. When I go to designated inspection places I always have to wait and I’m just another face. My husband has had some work done there too and he loves them. QualTech is always the first place we always think of if we have car problems.

Needed the annual inspection. Pulled my old info from white pages and didnt ask if needed updated. Service was quick and friendly.

Multiple times I have been concerned about my cars and taken them to QualTech to help me diagnose the situation. Twice, I even was able to get someone to ride with me in search of an issue.The friendly staff reminds me of the way small town businesss were in MN, when I was a kid. The place where your treated as a local with great big vocal welcome and some small talk to make you feel appreciated right away. When they ask whats wrong they listen with all intent of solving the problem giving you 100 % of there obviously busy attention. The rare values they ignite are patience and quality, 2 gems that you cant find in this busy world anymore.Both times I went they went above and beyond, sending me away with an assurance they did not see anything wrong and even though I was taken to work and picked up they smiled and said I would be fine with a smile! They even lifted my car to show me all of the details underneath!This type of customer service is surely what has them at the top of my list and I know I can trust them to do their best! She first went to Qualtech after they quoted her the best price on fixing the motor in her car window. Then Adam helped her save $1,500 by figuring out one of her car issues was recently included in a recall. Terry drove her home after she dropped her car off on multiple occasions. Been going to the 620 location for years as well as the 71 location. The guys are great, they know what theyre talking about, tell you the truth and are very patient and kind. They shuttle you to get you where you need to be helps too! My car just passed 270,000 miles thanks to them and its going strong. [Update, up to 290,000 miles now and runs like new]

The great people at QualTech diagnosed a brake problem with my truck that was covered by a manufacturer recall. They topped off the brake fluids to allow me to take it to the dealer safely. No charge. I’ll be taking all my vehicles to them. Highly recommended.

Heat shield near catalytic converter separated from the run of heat shields. Fixed it for a couple dollars over their diagnostics charge. I’m happy it was something small and glad I used them.

After 21 years, the driver side power window failed on my RAM 2500. I have been taking my truck to QualTech for service and inspection for many years and asked them to fix the problem. Bill got me the regulator assembly - including a new motor - and had it completed the same day. Outstanding quality, exceptional customer service, bargain pricing - and most importantly - great friendly and knowledgable staff!

I really LOVE this place! I got my PCM (computer) replaced quickly and efficiently. Treats me like family every single time I walk in the door. Bill always knows my name and is always amazing to me and helps me so much! The people here are so caring and really care about getting the job done right, and so quickly (with still being extra careful) to!! They can even remember my fiancèes car who has rarely been there (as she has a Toyota and they last forever lol) I trust QualTech with every ounce of me and will never take my Jeep anywhere else!

Mark Antabelli was the service rep who helped me through some tricky decisions pertaining to a costly repair on a 2000 Lexus. He was patient with me as I weighed my options. I never felt any pressure to get the repair done. He advised me thoughtfully and honestly and even made me aware of website coupons that could be applied to bring the cost down a bit. Ultimately, I decided to get the repair done as the car is super clean with low mileage and the fact that it lived in a garage since it was purchased. Super satisfied with the work that was done and equally satisfied with the customer service I received. I am beyond thrilled that this business is in the Bee Cave neighborhood!
