Chris and his team are some of the best out there. I have taken my Nissan rouge to them multiple times and always had a great experience. He is always upfront and honest about what the issue is, what work needs to be done, the cost, and how long its going to take to complete. And, not only does he always deliver on all those fronts, but if he can save his customers money without sacrificing delivering top quality work he will. I have not always had the best luck with mechanics or dealerships, and Chris and him team has really restored my faith. I plan to keep taking my car there for many years to come.

Ive taken my 2007 Volvo to Chris several times and Ill keep going back. What appeared to be a major fiasco turned out to be a quick, easy and inexpensive fix. I highly recommend these guys. Ive used the Millers several times over the last decade and I dont have a bad thing to say about any of my experiences.These guys have so much experience that they can generally diagnose the problem just by talking to you. Maybe something else is the culprit when they get in the car, but they are great about talking to you and letting you know. Theyve never been wrong for me, and Ive never had to bring a car back in for the same problem.I think another thing that keeps their prices great is that because they know how to diagnose a problem, they dont waste billable time on things that arent going to fix the problem, and they only fix what needs fixing. As long as theyre open and Im driving, Ill keep taking my car to them. They have been a little busier the last few years than they used to be, but thats because theyre good at what they do and more people have been going there.

Chris Miller, you can tell by watching him. He loves what he does. He is like non-stop fixing problems. I had a problem with my VW I couldnt get anyone else to even look at, he fixed it in 1 hour! I would recommend, if you have car issues go talk to him. He is total up front honest and a GREAT GUY! I told him when I left This was the best auto service experience I have ever had! He and his team are the best around.

Just shoot your customers straight. If you didn’t think you could handle the job, I would’ve appreciated an out- referral from the get go. Not a promise to come next week, and then all the sudden push out to 2 weeks away because you’re “backed up” and want to take a vacation. Coming from a business owner that highly values customer service.

I will give Nate & Chris Miller 5 stars because they are honest, affordable, and to the point. I did have an open bill that never got paid due to going through chemo & it did hurt that Chris said he did not care about that but business is business and that just goes to show his character on a good person he is because he did do work on my vehicle and allowed me to pay in payments after a great job of mechanical work. If I could give more stars I would. They may have affordable prices, but I really come for the honesty, knowledge, and reliability. I definitely feel that when I talk to him, he’s more concerned about the customer’s sake and not making money and manipulating the customer. Chris Miller’s place is the mechanic I’d recommend to anyone. I understand how some places may scam or do all sorts of screwy things. That’s definitely not here. But, i just wouldn’t take my word— you’d have to come and see for yourself.

Chris Miller Auto Repair is a rare jewel. I have taken SEVERAL cars to them and in addition to really fair pricing and fast work, they are the most honest shop Ive ever been to. On multiple occasions they have spent time on diagnostics for free. A couple of times they could have gotten an expensive repair job, but told me it wasnt worth fixing, so I didnt waste my money. Has also told me how to fix something MYSELF a few times. Has referred me to another shop that specializes in a particular repair rather than charge me more for it. I will always bring my cars there, I am a customer for life.

My father in law has been coming to Chris Miller Auto for years with all the family vehicles and has always spoken very highly of them, so when I recently started having engine trouble I immediately called them to see if they could help me out. They were very polite and professional and made room in their schedule to fit me in to do a diagnosis. Turns out I had a misfire in one of the cylinders and they were able to fix it same day. They were very kind and took care of me despite all the other work they had for the day. I appreciated they were honest and upfront with me and didn’t try to add “issues” to tag on more costs. It is very hard to find great mechanics who don’t try to gas you these days and I am incredibly grateful to have had the recommendation to come here. I HIGHLY recommend them!! Great prices and great service!!

I highly recommend this place! My car had been making noise for months whenever I would go over bumps, etc. Took it to Lambs last year and they quoted me over 1k to fix the issue. I decided it wasn’t worth it. Still had to pay a $100 diagnostic fee at Lambs. Decided to get a second opinion from these guys. So glad I went there. Turns out, nothing needed to be replaced. Saved over 1k on something that Lambs was telling me I needed. These guys know what they are doing. Do not hesitate taking your vehicle to them.

Chris Miller is our go-to place for auto repair. Especially for our F-150. We tow a 26ft travel trailer so safety and regular maintenance of our truck is really important. I dont think I could trust anyone else with the safety of my family the way I trust him.

Awesome Shop! AMAZING MECHANICS!My a/c went out and I took it to a popular shop that is supposed to be one of the honest ones. The estimate I recieved to repair it was almost $700. I called around and met with a few more and the lowest I got was $350.00. On a whim I gave it one more try and looked up few more places. Thats when I found this GEM! Right up the street from my house the whole time, was Chris Miller Auto Repair! I took it up there and I was immediately greeted and told to pull in, within 2min they already found the problem was a BaD Connection! I had the part for it which turned out to be the wrong one, but they had what was needed there in the shop and fixed me up and had me ready to go with Cold a/c blowing in 20min time! The AC in my vehicle hasnt worked in several years due to the extreme costs I have been quoted by other mechanics and they never could tell me definitively what the issue was. I found this mechanic from a very large number of positive reviews via Nextdoor App from my neighbors and thought I would give it a try.I was called up that same afternoon with an estimate and I was floored by the immediate and direct response that was affordable and to the point. There was no well what if this part or may need to check this out too. It was spot on, knew the answer, and was confident in his responses to my questions.In less than 24 hours after that call I had working AC in my car again at less than half the cost quoted by others! His estimate was spot on with the final bill as well!I highly recommend this shop! They are honest, respectful of your time AND your money! My family has used Chris for all of our vehicles for many years. My late Grandpa found him and turned us onto him. Not only do we consider Chris family, but he treats us as such also. It’s refreshing to get to hear his own stories about my Grandpa when we go in. He also is incredibly knowledgeable and reasonable. I won’t take my Lexus anywhere else because I know that I can take it to Chris and trust that it’s in the best hands around town. I’d recommend anyone in need of repairs to give Chris a try. It is family owned, word of mouth is getting out so if you can drop your car off and leave it over night that’s probably ideal as they’re staying busy, but it’s SO SO worth it. This mechanic got recommended to me by the auto insurance company I first bought insurance from when I moved to Austin. I needed my A/C compressor and accumulator completely replaced. Sometime back other mechanics had also told me that I needed my condenser replaced, which would be four additional hours of labor.I took my car to Nathan Miller Auto Repair at 4:50 on a Thursday afternoon. Even though they were about to close (felt bad about this!) he took a look at the car, said my condenser was fine, just needed a new compressor and accumulator. He quoted me about $350, which was pretty cheap I thought. Left him the keys and figured Id get it back next week sometime.I get a call 1 pm the next day saying my car was ready to be picked up. I get there and I actually get charged less than the quote. Just $8 less, but thats not the point. He could have charged the full quoted amount and I would have been none the wiser.The A/C has worked great and run cool ever since.Its easy for mechanics to be untrustworthy. These days, especially with the amount of technology in them, cars can get complicated. The brothers who run this mechanic shop are honest as hell, and treat you with respect and good humor.Completely recommend.

I have been bringing our vehicles to Chris (and recently retired brother, Nathan) for years. They are great about analyzing a problem or problems and explaining your options, from the cheapest keep you on the road fix to the full replacement and/or repair. I had taken my car to a chain (whose name I wont mention, but it rhymes with Scams) who told me that the minimum suspension repair would be over $2,200. Chris checked it out and saw some issues, but did not paint the dire picture that I had gotten from the chain. The big problem was fixed for around $700, and was told to swing by in a few months to check on the other issues (which turned out to be insignificant.)I trust Chris Miller implicitly with my automotive repairs and recommend his shop most highly!

I have taken my car multiple times to this repair shop and I have always received great service for honest prices. I just recently took my 1995 Camaro in for an A/C repair. It cost $90.03 to replace a vacuum check valve. I honestly do not know the going rate for that, but it seemed very reasonable to me.

I had heard about this small independent auto repair place by word of mouth. All the reviews were stellar and I must add mine as well. I had a leak of some kind of brownish liquid in my garage and that usually means expensive repair. I drove it to Nathans shop and they immediately looked at and diagnosed my problem as only a couple of corroded rubber hoses. Needless to say I was relieved. I couldnt have gotten this kind of one on one friendly honest service at one of the large auto repair places. Nathan has a new customer for life. Thanks Nathan !!
