Started this journey to get my Subaru Forester Sport back in June. With the chip shortage, there was no telling about when normalcy was set to return. I submitted a question to Subaru of America about my lease-end options and there I was connected with Jay Hall at Austin Subaru. Jay has been so helpful with the entire ordering process on getting an appraisal for my 2018 Subaru Crosstrek and also setting up an order for my new Forester Sport. Took delivery on 8/27 and the process was quite seamless. Everyone at Austin Subaru was helpful and willing to answer any questions I had. Thank you Jay, Briana, and Jeremy for helping me out!

While most people dread needing to take their vehicles in to get serviced, i sincerely dont mind knowing its always so seamless and quick! Everyone that greeted me, made me a delicious Pumpkin Spice Latte and worked on getting me a Lyft ride were so amazing. The woman with whom we had our appt. had an emergency situation so she made arrangements for us to meet with Mark Ziehr and our experience was not only helpful and professional but it was the first time we actually had fun purchasing an automobile. Plus, Jade followed up with us several times during the day. Everyone else we met with was also helpful. Naturally, they are there to sell autos but it was clear that they cared about our best interest. We now own a beautiful Outback and we love it. Highly recommend this dealer to anyone interested in a Subaru.
We had a great experience with Laura at Austin Subaru. Were able to handle most of the application and negotiation on line including getting the trade-in value of our old car. When we went to pick up the car, we only had to sign the paperwork and the deal was done.We got a great price, and were even offered a free class to come back in a couple of weeks for answers to any questions we might have about the dozens of tech and safety features on our 2021 Ascent.I highly recommend Austin Subaru if youre looking for an amazing all wheel drive vehicle thats loaded with features.

After having my car for some time, I’m 100% in love with it, but after looking over the paperwork again I realized that they played me. If you’re young and is in the market for a car, go to this place with your parents or grandparents. They were so kind when I was there but they were just buttering me up, and with me being so excited I didn’t analyze correctly. I shouldn’t have spent more than $6500 for this car, the dash is coming up, there’s a dent on the side, the airbag and tire light is on, the speakers are blown out, a piece to the convertible top is sticking up. I really wish I could get a refund and renegotiate. Do not come here alone if your 18 or 19, they will take advantage!
My first time in Austin Subaru and I cant complain. Excellent service, beautiful lounge with enough refreshments, great people and happy with my purchase. I definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a great deal in a new car. Ask for Michael Lax.
The manager Jacob was a great example of a person in company doing the right thing. I have been in several times this year to get my vehicle serviced for a check engine light. Each time a new person said a new thing. Well Jacob finally looked at my history and determined the root cause of the problem and fixed it! He deserves a 5 star review but I felt Subaru is not following through for its staff and it shows in the customer service so 3 stars.

Sooo impressed. I took a Subaru here which I have owned for over 10 years as the OG owner.The level of service and care given to each of the customers coming here was wonderful. They were understaffed and they still delivered service to all. It was slow, but it was an off day and they were understaffed.Without a doubt the ONLY place I will take my Subaru in Austin!Also of note is the cafe, wonderful.This guy named Adam was the best service rep I have ever had. He was fun and noticed things many do not. Well done Adam Crabb!
Bought an As Is used Subaru Crosstrek from this dealer. I know as is carries some risk. However, within 3 weeks of purchase I took it in for an oil change and to my surprise, I was told I really needed almost $8000 worth of work.Tried to get back into my old vehicle and they were not receptive nor apologetic that they sold me this car. The guys behind the glass that make all the decisions were not even willing to talk to me about this.But, I did overhear a conversation between a salesmen and phone customer. After the call he joked with his counterpart that this guy came in bought a car and told his daughter he could fix stuff then figured he could not, so too bad for him. Wow!Yes, free coffee and the service advisor I am working with is awesome. But overall, buyer beware and just know they dont really care about you - just the $$.Never had a Subaru before and as soon as this plays out I will never again. The car is probably ok on its own, but the lack of compassion or assistance to help from the company has left a bad taste and well, Ill get all my expensive repairs done elsewhere.

The service department at Austin Subaru is the best I’ve ever experienced. The price is fair, the service is thorough and the waiting area is unbelievable (a gourmet coffee bar with snacks and other drinks? Get out of here!!).
Came in due to my engine light on. Was given a list of items needing to be replaced. Total cost was going to be over $6000. On the list; my alternator belt was supposedly, old and cracking, but I had my brother check all the items on the list. The belt is in great shape. Also on the list, was my head gasket which supposedly was leaking and needing replacing. Again, came to find out it is also in great shape with no leak and does not need replaced. Cost would have been over $3000 just for that one, which is complete bogus. Very upset over the entire experience. Will never return. Get a second opinion!
I enjoyed working with Jade, Steve, and Yelena, they were all wonderful. Jade was my first contact with Austin Subaru, and she was super friendly. When I arrived at Austin Subaru, she working with another customer but was able to connect us with Steve, who ended up being our salesperson. He was friendly, easy to talk to, and not pushy at all. He was informative, and tho the entire car buying process felt like 100 years, he made it enjoyable. Yelena worked with us on financing and was easy to talk to during the process and also made it as enjoyable as possible. We were legit some of the last people at the dealership, but it was totally worth buying my first ever Subaru. I got a 2021 Subaru Forester and love it! Upgraded from a 2013 Mini Cooper, so all the tech has been fun to learn. I definitely recommend Austin Subaru! Plus, they work with Austin Pets Alive for the paddle for puppies. That alone says they are awesome!

I just bought my first Subaru and I will never drive anything else! Thanks to Austin Subaru and huge shout out to Evan Baker, the process was painless. I highly suggest setting up an appointment before going in, bonus points if you set one up with Evan. When we got there, on Memorial Day none the less, Evan was ready for us and showed us the car I had inquired about. It was a nut house but everyone moved very fast and got me into the car of my dreams, with a great interest rate I might add! Plus, Brianna from the Design Team got me tinting for my sunroof and an environmental protection plan to make sure I enjoy my car for years to come. The Subaru service team was most polite, and professional in working me into and through their system. The vehicle record of necessary work for recall was accurate, and the representative treated the actions, me, and the situation very well. Very well satisfied at the way things went.
The service crew at Austin Subaru is straight up awesome. They routinely deliver early, they are communicative and they treat you like you want to be treated. I highly recommend buying a Subaru from them, or having your car serviced here. The experience is better here than any other dealership Ive ever worked with.

My transmission had unusual problems not typical with the age and make of my car. Joseph handled it with GRACE. They got me into Service immediately and took care of the issue. Thankfully, my Subaru warranty covered the costs. Joseph was timely, kind and understood the importance of getting me back on the road as quickly as possible! Stellar.
Very good service. I went there without appointment at the opening on Saturday morning . Car was ready within 90mn for standard oil change, tires rotation. Like their cafe lounge where you can have a hot or cold beverage of your taste while waiting for the car to be serviced.
Got my first Subaru through Austin Subaru and it was relatively painless as well as I got nothing but professional service. Definitely got a great deal on my sweet new ride. Miguel was very helpful and the service department moved very quickly to remove the wheel locks from my tires when our key went missing. There was no charge and the whole experience was one shining moment in very complicated day. Cant wait for the electric cars!

We have visited a LOT of dealerships over the last year and even as an Audi owner, the only 2 dealerships in Austin where you’re treated like a human being (and even pampered a bit) are Porsche Austin and Austin Subaru. It’s wild how much better this dealer is than basically any other, and I’d frankly switch back to Subaru just to have the dealer and service experience you get from these dedicated folks. It’s clear they build lifelong customer relationships… we’ve been working with Roger there for 9 years and can’t say enough good things about him or Austin Subaru in general.
Very easy. Dropped it off and walked to Starbucks to work. They called promptly to ask about fixing issues found, and were finished long before I expected.
Worked with Nate and Leo in Sales and Austin in Finance. They were great. They worked hard to find me the car I wanted (one that was in-transit) and came up with a deal I was satisfied with. I visited the Service waiting area and it was really nice. The person behind the counter was very friendly. The receptionist was also very friendly.

Of the various dealerships I went to (both Subaru and non) Austin Subaru was the most helpful and knowledgeable, while simultaneously being the lowest pressure and easiest to work with. I worked mainly with Johnny Perez and I cant recommend him highly enough. He spent a ton of time with me, showing me the ins and outs of the vehicle, and really encouraged me to get a feel for every aspect of it. But after that he did not hit me with the hard sell - he knows good service is enough to make the sale. When I did go back to get the car, everyone involved in the process was really helpful and seemed almost as excited as me that I was getting a new car. I get the sense they dont negotiate much on the price, but their prices were fair and I was happy to get a fair deal without a fight. Plus they dont add any mandatory extras like tint and paint protection.

I needed to get my car it’s scheduled service and I was in heaven during my two hour wait. Free espresso drinks, snacks and dogs. Oh and wifi so I could work. I may start making up issues with my car just so I can spend time here away from my actual office. Best service ever.

I didnt buy my Subaru new. I had never really been at a dealership. I went in for a recall repair. My Subaru is old, dirty, and needs other repairs. I even showed up with kids on a rainy day. I received excellent service and communication. My kids got free juice boxes, and I wasnt pressured to handle all repairs at the same time. I was even given estimates for later. THIS is customer service.
Absolutely horrible. Do NOT go to this dealership. The upsell is extraordinary. I just needed a new battery for my keys -- kept me there for over an hour, trying to upsell me on $1,000 in new repairs. I will not be returning (if I can help it). And, they didnt even fix the key problem. They did change out the battery, but that did not fix the problem, I needed to make another appointment so that I could lock my car/arm battery. A useless waste of time and a problem unresolved.
Everything went very smoothly. I appreciated the outside, shaded area for waiting. Service was completed in a timely manner and all explained to me.

Everyone in the service department at Austin Subaru is so friendly and knowledgeable, and they are always very transparent and communicative about costs and how long things will take. The waiting area is very nice and has free wifi, snacks, and drinks, and they will even call you a Lyft for free if you want to leave. I always feel very comfortable going to get my car serviced here by myself as a young woman because I know Im not getting up-charged or sold things I dont need. We bought my fiancés 1st Subaru here at the end of the year and they were so wonderful to us, that after the hail storm totaled my car, we came back! Ask for Ethan, hes really nice, knowledgeable, and doesnt try to sell you on anything. I dont want to have to buy a car for quite some time to come, but when I eventually do, Id absolutely come back here.

Great place, excellent design, bought a car from Edwin. Big problem when buying used, Subarus dont depreciate much at all, so had to buy new, also have to wait due to chip shortage. Edwin was very patient with us in making up our minds.

This was our first visit to Austin Subaru to follow up on a recall and have an additional key made. The visit took longer than expected, but Will Heller did a good job of keeping us apprised of the challenges and progress. The waiting area was very comfortable and the complementary drinks and snacks were most welcome.

After years of brand loyalty with another brand we were attracted to Subaru because it is what our previous brand was. We heard about the loyalty of Subaru owners and the quality of their service and right off the bat our car salesman Michael Lax (Austin) embodied everything we had heard. He never rushed us or tried to upsell us. He listened and offered an amazingly honest and straight forward feed back which made us want the cars even more. I’ve never had such a good experience with a car salesman. Kudos to the hiring team and brand representation over at Subaru.
Got my 1st Subaru and am very pleased with my experience. Our salesperson Ethan was extremely kind and went over details very calmly and thoroughly. He is very respectful and takes good care of his customers. Jeremy was our finance person and he was very patient, detail oriented and very honest with suggestions that helped me in taking informed decision on my cars maintenance package. There are some scheduled followup that I will need to go for with my car in the next few weeks. Overall, I highly recommend this place. And ladies, if you are a single girl, this place is awesome. Not once they asked about any gentleman paying for the car (something I experienced at another place).

Service can be a bit lengthy when they get behind. Overall the facility to wait in is very nice, they have a coffee bar with baristas, snacks, and a fridge full of sparkling water. The service representatives never up sell you anything and even tell you when a service might be overkill. To have the best experience make an appointment ahead of time, keep in mind many Subaru owners in the Austin area so you will expect to wait a two weeks for the first opening. They provide free Lyft service as well as complementary rentals (this is usually a 3 week out reservation). A little bit of planning can make your service experience smooth, and struggle free. I would recommend Austin Subaru service department to anyone with a brand new or old Subaru.

I took my 2020 Outback for the 24k servicing. I was met by Miguel who took care of everything from start to finish. He was professional, courteous and friendly. He went out of his was to update me every step in the servicing process, he even helped with an issue that was out of his scope. I really enjoyed my visit, an errand that normally is mundane and can take long hours.

The process was great with reviewing the maintenance update needed for my old car, getting a quote, weighing the pros and cons of trading in my old car and get a new car. I am a loyal Subaru owner— 3 Subarus purchased since 2005. But customer service as of late here in Austin feels more like self-service. And my most recent Subaru 2018 Impreza- has required more maintenance due to recalls than I am comfortable with…The more gadgets, the more issues? I hope this last recall is the last…
Our Subaru Legacy needed plenty of repairs and we decided to trade it in for a newer car. Susan in the service department was so helpful in figuring out what was wrong with our old vehicle, Roger in Trade-Up was amazing at helping us get the best trade in value for the legacy, and Edwin walked us through the buying process for a new car easily and without any fuss! Kat in the design center was also really helpful in making sure our new ride has what we need. Y’all were great!They also have a stellar place to wait for repairs/discuss your car needs. Honestly, best dealership I’ve ever been to, hands down.

It was great. Recall item fixed, which included a free car inspection, went over every detail with me, free lobby/cafe chillout area, and a card for a free car wash. Took longer than expected, but it was ok. All of this was free.

I placed a $500 deposit to reserve the 2022 outback i wanted which has not arrived yet, the sales person said it is refundable, but when i called the sales manager Lucas, to see if the outback had arrived, he states that the deposit i made is nonrefundable. I personally do not recommend this dealership for taking my $500 for doing nothing. i have not seen nor do i want to buy my outback at this dealership. Their double talking has left me to mistrust this dealership. I will definitely not buy my outback at this dealership.
