Huge lack of communication. Yearly meetings scheduled to review policies are always cancelled last minute with the same excuse every time, sick kids. Things happen but 4 years in a row for the same reason is nothing shy of avoidance. A long history of unreturned phone calls and unanswered questions. “I’ll have Lindsay call you” should be their tag line. Continuously rising rates and lack of communication are what forced me to go to another, better, agent. Pay no attention to the previous reviews, those are all of the office staff and family members of Lindsay.

I was very surprised to find out that American Family was actually cheaper than my current carrier so we switched years ago to work with Lindsay. Ive been very happy with the service provided. I hit a deer about a year ago and was fighting back and forth with the corporate insurance office on what they would actually pay for then one day one of the agents from the local Austin branch reached out to me to see how the claim was resolved when I told her I was having issues she got on the phone with the corporate office and took care of everything that same day. They paid for all my repairs, it only cost me my deductible.

Finally, I had to respond similarly, which is not my nature, in order to get anything accomplished. I would not recommend this insurance agency to anyone. So disappointing for a small town!!
