Snowstorm 2021...! Frozen, burst water pipe at my rental home...water damage...would it ever end? Just as we (Texas) were all experiencing loss of power issues, boil water notices...I needed my State Farm agent - Jessie McConchie to assure me everything was gonna be okay. She was there, from day one, to give me the guidance and tips on how to file my claim through the State Farm app (as the SF servers in Dallas were experiencing outages) and answer all my questions. I changed my review from a 1 to 5 within a 3 day time period because Jessie McConchie herself reached out to me directly after learning about my poor customer service experience regarding the transfer of my out-of-state move and getting my policies switched over.My husband and I had the opportunity to meet with her in person where she was able to clear up the miscommunication and errors that had been made.Hopefully I never have to use my insurance policy, however I feel very confident and comfortable knowing that Jessie and her team have our best interests in mind.

Ive used this agency for more than 10 years. I have no idea why people are putting negative comments up on here. Maybe these are all the people with bad driving histories. At one point I moved out of the country, and then I moved back. Every other insurance agency wanted to suggest that I was now a new driver, claiming these are the rules, you have a gap in US history.. bs. This was the only honest agent which didnt try to play that game, at all. They recognized I was driving for 25 years, and gave me a fair rate, straight up. Thats why Im writing this. I called perhaps 9 different places. I notice that many of the other negative reviews on here are about poor phone service. Seriously? I never had that. And anyway, why would I care? I wanted a good policy and a fair rate. I do recall one claim with them, 10 years back... no issues. All paid, all professional.

Jessie went out of her way to get both of our cars onto the same, less expensive mutual company plan within State Farm, about $1,000/year savings.

In three calls a guy called Jonney kept talking to me in the most condescending manner there is. I requested to speak to Jesse and she never bothered calling back. I ended up switching agents.

For one year I used Jessie with State Farm on south lamar. Parking lot is not a good parking situation. Very tight and at a busy intersection.I signed up for a policy. At that same time I gave Jessi the opportunity to bid all of are other insurance. For two to three weeks I called and followed up with her but was never able to get a hold of her. I finally dropped by her office to inquire but she was busy, so I left a message with her staff.Two weeks later Jessie her self called me to drum up buiness and see if she can bid any other policies or a try to sell me some life insurance. I reminded her that I’ve been trying to get a hold of her with the other quotes but I’ve never heard back from her. I’ve never heard some one back pedal so fast and blame it on some one else. Needless to say I did not add any more coverages with State Farm. Fast forward I’ve got a claim and I’m not getting any help from State Farm so I reach out to my local agent only to be referred to the 1800 number with absolutely no help. Long story short I would not recommend State Farm or this office that Jessie Mcconchie on south lamar.

Quoted Home and Car insurance with them. After checking the price and coverage, I confirmed it was good to switch from my previous insurer (to save money). Then Jessie and her agents put in place the policy, but with a higher price than the quoted (disrespected the price and higher than the previous insurer). I didnt accept the price so I cancelled the process. Now they are billing me for something I didnt agree to. I feel I wasted my time and lost money on the switch try.

Jessis’s staff is always helpful and understanding. Johnny helped me set up my renters and auto insurance together and now my premium is much lower than my previous provider (rhymes with shmallstate).

I just moved to Austin & this was the first time setting up my own insurance. She took time explaining it to me answered all my questions.

This State Farm office makes harassing phone calls. The representative would not tell me how he received my information, then hung up on me after I asked his name. I would never do business with this insurance agency and I will make sure to post this experience on all social media outlets so that no one gives them business.
