I did not purchase anything from there. Only walked in because I thought I had a necklace with broken closing clip. They took their time to take a look. They saw it was not broken, just out of place. They were able to return it to normal and did not ask anything for that. They dont try to rip people off, were very honest. Great place! They also have nice jewerly, if ever need anything will keep this place in mind.

Went in to have the jeweler inspect a ring I received from my mom, who just recently passed away. The stone was chipped and shook around in its setting, which I figured would be too difficult to fix. I assumed they would say they needed to replace the stone completely, which was going to be my last resort in fixing it. The incredibly nice sales person, Lori, said that it may need replacing, but that she’d discuss with the jeweler. When she brought it back, she told me the jeweler cleaned, buffed, and tightened up the ring for me at no charge. I was so happy I started tearing up in the store. I will definitely be back to buy another piece to match this ring, and I’ve already told all my friends and family what a great place this is. 10/10 recommend for their care end kindness towards precious jewelry.

This was my first time visiting Matthew Erickson Jeweler and I was pleasantly surprised how easy Marge was to work with. This was my first visit ever to Matthew Erickson jewelers, but I will definitely come back here for all my future jewelry needs. I initially came to get my wedding and engagement rings resized. I also brought in some old gold and silver to be applied toward the cost. Marge was fantastic in assisting me! In fact, she immediately saw that the stone on my engagement ring was about ready to fall out (which another jeweler store in town had not caught)! I decided to get a new setting and Marge worked with me for quite awhile to find the perfect one. I absolutely absolutely love it!! Also, I anniversary band to be sized and it was found that the undercarriage was deteriorating. The jeweler resized everything, rebuilt, and cleaned everything to perfection.In addition, when my husband went to pick up my rings, Marge helped pick out a beautiful unique ring for my Christmas present at a very reasonable price! Such lovely people! I came in with a ring that needed resizing, and engraving removed, and a loose gem. They fixed the size and engraving and tightened the gem, however it is still a tad loose. The jeweler there is a genius he took a pair of half hoop diamond earrings i had and made them into a beautiful 1 ct 10 stone custom diamond anniversary band. It looks amazing. Wow is all I have to say to about the jewelers at Mathew Erickson Jewelers! Judy, Marge, and Leanne are all amazingly special at their careers. I came in with 7 gold chains to get chain connectors/clasps redone for myself and then stopped by again with my room mates 3 chains to do exactly what I did. No questions asked they immediately put their input and work in and got my final product done in front of me as well as appreciating my input. I ordered the clasps/connectors and they arrived quickly at their store as well. So many options to chose from I am stopping again on the 23 of this month to purchase a white gold chain 18’ with an 18k filled gold elephant pendant for my roomies lil sister. They helped her pick everything out and no pressures at all for purchasing! These ladies are very kind and relatable, I can not wait to stop back in to see these lovely ladies! 100/10 is my rating.

Bought my fiancé’s engagement ring at Matthew Erickson Jewelers. They provided excellent customer service, made the selection process easy, and had many options. Most importantly, she loves the ring!

Dropped off a watch for a battery replacement. Was told I would get a call when it’s ready and that I would be able to pick it up the next day. The next day, I call a couple hours before close to check the status. Tell them the name on the invoice and they cannot find any record of it. Finally they find the watch and tell me the guy didn’t get to it. Not a big deal, stuff happens, but then when I went to pick it up (was leaving town the day after) the woman told me the hole in the watch was too small or they didn’t have the right tool and the guy that would be able to do it wasn’t in today. Really? Because on the phone it was a totally different story. Oh well, I went to batteries plus, was in and out in 2 minutes, and paid half the price. I see all these five star reviews for this place, but I cannot help but wonder if their customer service is dependent on what you’re purchasing. Obviously my battery replacement wasn’t a big ticket item, but word of mouth can still travel pretty far.

I have come here twice to get my engagement ring fixed. Once when my center stone fell out at work (gasp!). And most recently to tighten the prongs for my center stone. Just to get the center stone tightened up, didn’t take very long and they polished up my ring a bit. When I had to get my stone replaced the first time, the lady who helped me was attentive to what I was looking for.

I was very impressed with the quality of service and knowledge that I encountered. I worked primarily with Judy, who was extremely helpful and very personable. She got my exactly what I needed at a very reasonable price. I will definitely be returning in the future.

The type of band that I was looking for was unique but Matthew Erickson had some floral designs already on display. When it turned out that the ones they had in the store couldnt be made in yellow gold and without mil-grain, they searched high and low and worked with me to find manufacturers that could make what I was looking for. In the end, I bought my beautiful lacy/vine like wedding band here.In addition, my idea was to buy a simple gold band for my fiancee and have the intricate design of my band engraved into his. Their in house jeweler sketched out the design and had us approve it before he did the engraving. It was truly a spectacular job.They did a fantastic job throughout the entire process communicating with me by email and by phone. I was at fox valley mall went to a jewelry repair shop they going to charge me $150.00 plus to change the damage clamp. Lastly, I would like to say that never once did they make me feel as if I needed to spend an arm and a leg on my ring. They happily worked within my budget and never pressured me to spend more. Today I went in to get advice on my engagement ring, because since I lost weight, it was too big. Steve immediately helped me fix the problem now and plan for my future size adjustments. He even offered me free cleaning services. Thanks Steve for all of your help.

Excellent customer service. I had visited another jeweler for a repair. They tried to talk me into an entirely new ring and setting - which of course would have cost a significant amount of money. I explained to MEJ that I just wanted my original (and sentimentally important) ring to be fixed, they listened,and examined and after asking a few questions and explaining the process repaired my ring beautifully.

Outstanding!!!We were out shopping for engagement rings and were getting frustrated and overwhelmed very quickly. We decided to head to Fox Valley to just shop around and see what our different options were when Matthew Erickson Jewelers popped up on my Google search. I was excited with their consistent positive reviews, so we headed over. We worked with Leanne, who immediately put us at ease. She patiently answered our questions and educated us about diamonds and what MEJ could do for us. In about 2 hours we had our setting and stone selected and were discussing financing (layaway turned out to be our best option). We always felt welcome when we visited our called. After being told by another jeweler that my ring was not repairable and had to be completely rebuilt at a cost of $2,000 I decided to go for another opinion. I went to Matthew Erickson and they looked at it said it could be fixed for $100 and had it back to me in 2 days. WE NOW HAVE A NEW JEWELER !!! COME HERE YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED !!!

I was looking for a gold band to replace my wedding band. We had checked the entire mall at Fox Valley to no avail, when we notice the ME store outside the mall. They had exactly what I wanted and in my size also. Service was outstanding, very polite, helpful, and gracious without being overbearing. I also had my engagement enlarged. Again, outstanding service. We will use ME for all our jewelry purchases and work. Hands down better than the other stores. (When we returned to pick up the ring, they had a nice holiday spread with Kuerig coffees, cookies, and some holiday treats.)
