Escape Campervans offers the opportunity to explore new areas with ease. We saw so many great new sites with our home. Staff are exceptional and in tune with the needs of their clients. They provide excellent guidance. The vehicle was well maintained and we had no issues or equipment failures. Thank you for the time of our lives.

The Campervan experience was superior from start to finish. Reserving the van was simple with all the necessary information. At pickup, the staff was friendly, professional and efficient. The van was ideal for our trip to Colorado and Utah National Parks. The refrigerator and stove made packing simple and meals a breeze. The van ran well. Drop off also went quickly and smoothly. An affordable way to enjoy a road trip. Recommended.

Our van Bixby had +313,000 miles when we picked it up. The brakes were shot. The steering was shot. Dents, dings, galore. Highly suggest you rent else where. I was shocked when the employees were pressuring me to purchase insurance to cover mechanical problems. Once I spotted the van - it all made sense.Update: In response to the owner; Ive professionally driven large passenger vans for years. Going so far as to imply that Im not familiar with driving a camper van, is disingenuous. Update your fleet. Retire your old vans. You might get more return customers if your equipment was not so old.

Loved van camping across Colorado and Utah in our Big Sur! Staff were helpful and accommodating, and the van itself was wonderful. We had 5 people total, and with the camper tent, we fit perfectly.Love that they have multiple locations for drop off and pickup - enabled us to drop off in Vegas, after picking up in Denver.5/5, would do again and would recommend.

This was my first time experiencing van life, and I am hooked! We picked up our van Creamsicle in Denver, drove 3500 miles and hit 7 national parks in 8 states, and returned the van in Salt Lake City. The pickup and dropoff experiences were both smooth, with friendly and helpful staff. The Escape design is very thoughtful. Of particular note is the solar fridge in the kitchen, which is a marvel and keeps food super cold. I admittedly laughed at all the folks with coolers in the back of their cars, even though Im usually those folks. :)We chose this van over an RV rental because of its smaller size--we loved being able to access any campsite or National Park road/parking lot thats closed to RVs. We made it up many steep gravel mountain roads with no problem.A family of four, we slept very comfortably. The bedding provided kept us warm, and the rooftop tent is a lot of fun. My kids, both teenagers, loved the conversion of the table to the bed. We spent lots of cozy nights playing cards inside Creamsicle, our van.It was great fun (not to mention extremely useful) to wake up early and drive off to our next location with the kids still asleep. We stayed in an assortment of established campgrounds and boondocking sites. Campendium is a very valuable resource for finding free dispersed camping. We rented the bedding kit, window bug nets, and kitchen kit--all useful rentals. I wish the kitchen kit had two frying pans instead of one. We didnt use the coffee pourover and used a percolator instead, which was perfect. We did not rent chairs, knowing we could find them cheaper (we bought two chairs at a Walmart at half the price and donated them later). It was fun encountering a total of TEN other Escape vans on our travels, sometimes the same ones in multiple states! We enjoyed donating supplies we couldnt take home and passing stuff along to future Escapers.Luckily we loved the painted design on our van but would like the opportunity to choose in advance, as we saw other vans with designs we would NOT have wanted to travel with! (Most are wonderful, though.)Gas prices were rough out west -- we were filling up at $100/day, something were not used to as New Yorkers with a compact car!We had a Maverick which was enough space for us, but wed like to try out the Big Sur next time to compare. We were worried about storage and traveled light with 5 backpacks and accumulated more stuff along the way, and had plenty of room. I suggest multiple carry-ons over big suitcases. We look forward to more adventures with Escape!!

We had so much fun during our 9 day adventure in this van. Did a one-way trip from Vegas to Denver, stopping at the might 5 national parks in Utah. I rented a Maverick from Denver, ManOne, for 3 weeks in mid June. Hensley checked me in and went over all the particulars before I drove away. All the extra accessories were in the van ready to go. It was an easy and pleasant experience. This was my first experience camping and first campervan so I was excited to see how things went. I had made a lot of the campground reservations ahead of time due to how busy this summer traffic was but I did end up boondocking in a few places. The van was the perfect size to be able to fit in anywhere including the narrow winding Colorado roads. Its easy to drive and park which made for a pleasant experience. The kitchen in the back works well until its storming. I had brought a tarp with me that allowed me to create a covered space and still make dinner and be dry. The propane stove worked well as did the pump sink. The fridge drawer surprised me with the amount of food/drinks I could fit in there. Being run on solar it never failed and kept the food and drinks cold even in heat over 100 degrees.I did have someone run into the back of my van on the passenger side probably in a parking lot. I sent a photo of the damage to the company when I discovered it and because I had taken the full insurance there was no problem when I turned it in.A man last night asked if I would do it again and if I would do it tomorrow. My answer was a resounding yes. Im planing on another trip next year and think Ill pay attention to the deals Escape campervans has for one way rentals as well. I can be ready at the drop of the hat and I am totally in love with campervan travel.Joanne Gardner

We had a great time in the Hard Candy! She safely took us across the west for a whole month. Our first experience of the excellent service was when Escape offered a discount on future bookings a few days after we reserved our van. I called, and without hesitation they applied the discount retroactively to our reservation, which was awesome. The first time we tried to use the stove in our trip, the regulator valve was malfunctioning… but we called Escape and they were great. They offered to reimburse us for a new one wherever we were or offer us a credit on our bill. We really appreciated that and their responsiveness. Plus, it’s hard to not be happy when you’re traveling in so much style. Smiles everywhere we went! Thank you!

The staff we met at the Denver location were great and worked with us when we decided to extend our trip. The van was in great shape and worked as expected with no major issues. Put over 4,000 miles on the van and every day was non stop fun and adventure. Heat and all functions worked as expected, but two wheel drive was obviously not ideal for the snow, so know where you want to go ahead of time. My group had a lot of fun and really made the van our own for the time we had it. Definitely an awesome experience and we plan to rent again at some point in the future! The mileage packages offered at the time of booking were limited to one, meaning we didnt have many options. This was my only real concern. That said, the costs were made very clear and communicated to us before starting, so no surprises with the bill. All in all, we all had a blast and would absolutely recommend to others!

Some of the vans are painted Gaudily but its fun all the same. Its my first rental of a car or van, so the coverage of 100 miles/day is insufficient if driving AZ-CO. If you stay in state it would be more budget friendly. My only other complaint is that the van I had seemed to need some transmission TLC but they have SO MANY types and SO many variations in the outside decoration, its marvelous. Please repaint the emoji van. Those non copyright emojis are so unsightly in my personal opinion it scared me, im sure itll terrify children. Wipe out was good! I love the funky square sun on the side. Pls be good to her, she doesnt go up steep hills easily, passing should be avoided as it does not get up to speed as fast as Im used to.

The experience we had with this team was amazing. Kerry honored the original time we reserved the van for and upgraded us to a bigger and newer van. The check in process was pretty smooth and the 2 ladies very helpful and gave us some useful items that other van campers had left. The trip itself was a once in a lifetime experience and the van was everything we could ask for. We had done a van camping trip 2 years ago but with a much smaller van and this made a big difference. The bed was bigger, more comfortable and seemed better isolated in general. The vehicles was also very easy to drive and smooth. We had a hiccup with the battery but the nice lady at checkout gave us a credit for the inconvenience so we were really grateful. I had quite the experience with escape. The first few weeks of my road trip were good, but on the last week and a half, the fuel pump went out on my van. I got trapped in a small town for four days while the van got repaired. They comped the few days that I was out of commission, however, it really ate into my plans and lost money on the campsite reservations that I had and was unable to complete the road trip but I had dreamed of taking. After the van was fixed, I decided to return it to Portland a few days early because I did not feel safe or comfortable driving it after those mechanical failures. I had a phone conversation with one of the managers that said they would refund the time since I was returning it early due to mechanical failures. The Portland office was lovely with checking my van back in, and making sure everything was squared away to the best of their abilities before I left. Sven did a great job making sure I got a partial refund for the portion that he was able to help me with.Edit: A manager contacted me and sorted the remainder of the refund out

We enjoyed our camper van experience, the Big Sur was roomy but allowed us to get on back forest roads and through the Rocky mountain National Forest without any issues. The bed in the van was a little lacking in comfort and stability / support, I guess it would be as much as you would expect, but could definitely be improved. Its very important to park level and as flat as possible, it would have been helpful if the van had some sort of indicator to help you find a level position. We did not have the electric kit, nor did we hook up to power at any sites, so overnight the van did get quite chilly and we had to layer up to stay warm.Soft side luggage is definitely recommended if you are considering space as we had to shift around our carry-on suitcase throughout our trip. There were plenty of cubbies and a lot of storage space throughout the van which was helpful during our 7-day trip.

They just got the news that the van can not be fixed. Kevin who is the manager, laughed at my daughter when she asked for a full refund, reimbursement for the out of pocket expenses and reimbursement for the rental vehicle ($300 a day) due to the lack of proper vehicle along with any other out of pocket expenses maintenance. The van had 250,000 miles on it. Should have been retired along with the manager who obvious doesnt know how to manage a situation such as this.

Our trip (me and my wife) started out in LA and we planned to drive to Denver and camp along the way at or near several national parks. We were looking to rent from a rental company which had camping vans available which allowed us to return the van at an alternate location. There a very few providers of this type of rental. Was not sure what to expect as weve never done anything like this. The drop-off to a different location from pickup does add an addiitional fee to the bill. One of our concerns were the age of the vans. We opted for the Maverick (2012 Ford E150), but they are on the older side. Our vehicle had over 200k miles on it and this was on the lower side when we were given options for this model. Normally the checkout process might take a while but we called ahead and they were nice enough to let us come in earlier to get it done ahead of our scheduled time. We almost went for the Big Sur model (Ford 2017 model) which are newer, but they are a bit bigger (has an extra row of seats) and more expensive than what we needed. They gave us a briefing on the vehicle and showed us how everything works. Its all very simple and straight forward. We also opted for some of the extras like the kitchen kit, bedding kit and electrical kit. The bedding kit came with pillows and sheets. The kitchen kit came with pots, cups, kitchen implements, plus $5 for a propane cannister to be used with the propane stove in the back. Finally, the electrical kit came with a long extension cord, power strip and a portable fan. It is just meant to be plugged into outlets to power your phone or lights. Out of all the kits we got, this was probably the most unnecessary. Seemed a bit overpriced and we could have just bought our own cords and be good at any campsite which offered electrical hookups. We also made sure to bring our own car electrical adapters (the ones with USB connections which plug into the cigarette lighter) with us so we can charge our devices on the road. This vehicle does not have USB ports. We also opted to get the full insurance which covered almost any issue which we might run into. We had very few issues with the van. A couple of things we ran into were the sink in the back section of the van did not always work correctly. We had to have the water reservoir almost completely full in order to be able to get the manual pump on the sink to work. Another minor issue was that when we hit roads which were going to high elevations, the van struggled a little bit, but we never had any mechanical problems. It pulled through just fine. We had a blast travelling on this van through the southwest. If youre not used to driving such a big vehicle, it was not difficult or intimidating. I even managed to parellel park the thing while we were in a city. Our van was an unforgettable part of our trip. We definitely plan on going on these types of trips again. Escape Vans were a good introduction to campervanning. Overall, a great experience. Keep in mind that the additions to the van we got such as alternate drop off location, insurance, the additional kits, mileage overage fees, gas, food, supplies and camp site costs do add up to the total, more than you might expect. Give them a try if youd like to go on a camper van Adventure.

The set up of the van was exactly what we wanted - quick and easy set up to allow us to explore Colorado all day with no worries about setting up much to sleep at camp. The van we hired was the Maverick (which we nicknamed Mav) and she got us around a lot of the state, even in the steep climbs of Rocky Mountain National Park and Telluride. There was no worries at all about the van throughout the trip - Mav had been well looked after by the busy workers from escape and was ready for any challenge. Oh, and we almost forgot to mention that they are DOG FRIENDLY!!!We highly recommend escape campervans for those young (and young at heart) and adventurous individuals/couples out there. My family of four had a blast driving from campground to campground in Colorado in our Escape Camper van. As avid campers, we were a little weary of the RV LIFE so we brought our tent along too, but from the first night in our camper van, I was in love. The kitchenette was so luxurious. Since it was always set up, we never had to dig out all the supplies to feed the family on the fly. We ate hot meals on overlooks and rest stops all over the national parks. At night we made camp by just parking someplace beautiful and unfolding the bed (so easy). The queen size bed easily slept my husband and I and our 1 year old, and my four year old cozied up in her sleeping bag on the bulk head between the kitchen and the bed. We got a plug in camp site once, and didnt even need it. The kitchen has a sink (amazing!) so we could do dishes quickly. The double burner stove was great and the supplies was really everything we needed short a sharp knife (we used a pocket knife) and a cutting board (would have been nice). The fridge is small, slightly larger than the average crisper drawer in your fridge at home but we packed a lot in there and it kept it cool with no problem in the heat of the September sun. I cant recommend the Van Life enough. Dreaming of our next excursion already!

Amy and John were super helpful setting us up with everything at the Denver office, and listened to our minor complaints that we had about being too cold at night and actually reimbursed us money for the inconvenience. I couldnt ask for anything more!

We rented our Escape Camper Van from Colorado to drive to different National Parks in Utah and we had an amazing time!! The van had everything we needed. It was easy to set up the bed, table, kitchen, and rooftop sleeper. The bed was really comfortable and large enough to fit 3 adults. We had such a great time that we are already thinking about where we can go next. The customer service at the Aurora office is stellar, especially from Amy. She was super helpful in answering all of our questions and making the process to rent and return the car fast and seamless. Thanks again for allowing us to have such a great time! We’re excited for our next trip!

We had a great tour of Colorado and Wyoming in our Escape Camper. Im 64, but found the Mavericks to be plenty spacious for comfortable sleeping. It was super convenient to be able to wake up, grab breakfast from the solar fridge, and hit the road early before the crowds got to the best attractions without having to strike a tent. Small enough to go where a car goes (and where RVs cant), but high clearance meant that we could take a dirt road or two when necessity or fun demanded it.

You dont know where to start on a review when the thing you are reviewing allowed you to realize how simple life can be. Me and my fiance decided to try out van life in hopes of pursuing this lifestyle in the future. Escape Campervans allowed us to see how that feels for 2 weeks... and to say the least we absolutely loved it. The van holds the most basic things you need to live in a van and it made us realize you dony need much to function. We went all around Colorado (safely, bc being in a van allows you to be as distant as possible from people!) - Drove to Aspen and back to the rockies. The Van handled the snow at the end of our trip really well even though it wasnt a four wheel drive. Amy, at the Aurora location, was beyond amazing. She made the check in process so smooth and provided us with everything we needed to have a good, safe time. Not the last time using Escape Campervans, were definitely going to do this again!

Great experience with Escape Campervans! Second time we rent with them. This year in the American Rockies, last year in the Canadian Rockies. The Big Sur is very spacious and can take you almost anywhere, even through remote corners and bumpy paths. It remains easy to drive and handle. Everything is well designed inside, very functional.Usually the best price you are going to find if you compare to RVs.Colorado Rockies were in blast armed with this van!Denver crew did a great job during those COVID-19 times.

If you are considering escape at all, DO IT. I cannot say enough how much my fiancé and I fell in love with the van life. We went from Vegas>Zion Natl Park>Grand Teton> Yellowstone>Denver. A lifetime experience made possible by this seamless van rental company.Upgrade to the rooftop sleeper.. worth every penny! We doubled the allotted mileage, so maybe consider less of a distance or a longer amount of days on the road to compensate for the distance. But even then, worth every penny.Loved the drip coffee and grill lighter they provide. Blanket for rooftop was super warm. And we had plenty of space. The staff here are courteous, accommodating, responsive to my calls and emails, and very flexible. Really wowd by this whole experience. We will definitely be doing this with escape again!

This is our 2nd time renting at Escape. This time a Big Sur which was more comfortable than the Maverick for the 2 of us. It also had more get up and go on the mountain roads. We’ll rent again because it suits us and our roaming to new location every day or so.I understand the Big Sur is meant for 5 people however it was very difficult to open/close the sliding door when in the bed. If passenger row would fold or slide forward this would be a BIG help! I would not say van was clean and understand that I’m not a germ-fobe. I do think at this time there should be a higher standard (windshield clean inside, curtains cleaned, slide seats up and vacuum).Customer service is always great and their help was appreciated in all aspects

Amazing trip from Denver to Seattle and back in Foli. Perfect way for safe and fun travel to pick up my youngest son from college during Covid-19. Pop-up sleeper worked great for my 6-foot tall sons while I slept comfortably inside the van. Flexibility of the campervan allowed us to find some beautiful spots to camp beside Utah Lake, at Lake Powell and in a public campground in WA. Loved every minute of our drive (well, maybe not every minute as some stretches in Idaho were rather boring). Escape Campervans staff were all incredibly responsive. Highly recommend Escape Campervans and planning another trip soon.

There were so many issues with the van i have a hard time listing all of them..First the air conditioner worked when it felt like it..we were in 107 degree weather in utah and had the windows down the majority of the time..The suspension felt like the van was going to rattle apart..The steering wheel was loose and i never felt like I had control of the van.. The transmission skipped alot and when we went up any hills big or small the engine reved to the point it smoked..We contacted support only to get an email response..There was no return call to follow up on the issues..When we returned the van the response was well thats not normal..They told us we should have gone to a mechanic rather than have their roadside assistance helping us..I rent vehicles often and have never went to a mechanic on my own dime..They mentioned the vans are older with miles and that was the excuse for the vans issues..The customer service was sub par at best..There overall experience was horrible and I will never do it again or recommend the company to friends..I travel across the US several times a year from PA to OR and wanted a new experience but this was a disaster..

Great experience with Escape - picked up the van in Denver and it was absolutely spotless and ready to go for me. No issues on my 30-day trip all over the Southwest! The winter sleeping gear came in handy (given it was January) on the road, as did Amys suggestions for using apps like Campendium and others to look for cheap/free places to camp overnight. I used the canopy on rainy days to cook in the back of the van.The greatest praise I could provide, however, was the vans 17 (!!!) cupholders. Subtly a huge perk.Overall great experience with the staff and company. Would use it again and highly recommend!

We loved our Escape Campervan, Coyote Butte. It worked out perfect for us. We flew into Denver and Ubered to Aurora to pick it up. We were welcomed by Amy. She was wonderful to work with. Very friendly and knowledgeable about our van. She even suggested a great lunch place before she sent us on our way. Which was awesome! We traveled down to Canyon City and did a white water rafting trip. We spent a couple of nights in that area boon docking it. Then on to Estes Park, Rocky Mountain National Park, Fort Collins ( lots of breweries involved), up to Cheyenne WY and then worked our way back, stopping in Boulder. We drove over 800 miles and enjoyed being spontaneous by having a camp van. Try it!!! You will love it!!!

Loved it, got to be right in some of the national parks for sunset and sunrise, which was my goal. Everything was as advertised. As a middle aged guy, I can report that you have to crawl around a bit when bed is set up, which requires some agility, that I may or may not have had. But you get the hang of it.

This was a great experience overall! I would highly recommend renting from Escape Campervans. My boyfriend and I went up to Estes Park and were able to hunker down in 20 degree weather - no problem! We actually got super hot at one point because the winter kit that we rented worked extremely well. Past that, the van itself is hilarious. The fun designs are sure to attract peoples attention - we saw lots of smiles on the road, which made us smile. Everything worked well and we will definitely rent from them again if the opportunity arises. :)

The staff was very helpful, hooked us up with everything we needed for a fall camping trip. We rented a Maverick van for 4 nights in the Rockies, mostly dispersed camping. If it will be cold at all, I highly recommend the winter bedding kit (lows in the 40s for us). The electric kit came in handy the one night we were in an established campground, but wasnt totally necessary. We easily found campsites and traveled over 650 miles between our 4 nights. The van drove perfectly, and the prices were upfront and honest. We will definitely come back next time we want to camp in the mountains.

We rented an Escape Campervan for two months this summer and I highly recommend them. This vehicle became our home for the summer as we traveled to 14 national parks throughout CO, UT, AZ, WY, and MT.The Ford E150 had about 212,000 miles on it when we picked it up, but it was well maintained and we did not run into any mechanical problems. The vehicle was easy to drive and it can fit in just about any parking spot even inside parking garages. The bed was very comfortable and well designed. The refrigerator worked extremely well and allowed us to cook a wide variety of meals. Having a built in water tank and sink was also extremely helpful. Each time I called to ask a question before and during the trip, they were responsive and able to get me an answer right away. When we picked up the van, the staff were super friendly and gave us tips about routes and how to use the van. I would absolutely rent from Escape again next time Im looking for a campervan.

Pros - not a bad vehicle, pretty decent on gas mileage, good appliances- Coleman portable stove, sink -that you have to pump to get water, it also comes with a mini freezer drawer. The van was not the cleanest, stains on curtains, smudges on the interior. The paint jobs are all unique and fun! High mileage and not much pick up to the van itself. You can go about 65 and remain in control. Make sure to read the fine print and be sure to check the receipt at the end of your trip because we I was accidentally overcharged. All in all it was a great trip. The employees are nice and helpful as well.

We had a great trip with an escape campervan. we really like the simplicity and efficiency of the overall layout of the van. Definitely worth upgrading to the rooftop bed, its a great feature to have. We had a little complication with the water system, it did work it just didnt hold as much water as we hoped it would. They were awesome at the front desk setting us up and checking us back in super efficiently. Definitely recommend.

IF YOU TOOK THE TRAIN THERE DONT LEAVE THE STATION!!!The path to Escape Campervans is IN BETWEEN the two lines. Just go back to the tracks and youll see it. We missed it and had to haul our luggage and our 3 kids (2 on our backs) the long way. Wish someone had pointed this out!My family of 5 (3 kids 4years and under) rented a Big Sur for 10 days we had a blast!ROOFTOP BED: We rented the rooftop bed which we hardly used since it was too cold (30F) in some places. Also, the rooftop bed has areas where it doesnt seal all the way the way a tent would so on windy nights it might be a problem. So, since we could given the size of our children, we all slept inside the van on those extra cold nights - no heater needed the comforters were warm enough.CARSEATS: Im pretty picky about the seats I put the children I made in. Yes, Escape Campervans does have car seats and boosters, which we rented, but if I had known what I was going to get I would have brought my own. They had many to choose from but they were dirty and really were the bare minimum to keep Johnny Law off my back. Its not exactly that the dirty part bothers me but dirty straps are REALLY hard to adjust (it makes it so that the strap doesnt slide easily between the fasteners- ugh such a pain), the padding was really worn, and seemed extremely uncomfortable. ALSO, if we had needed all of our kids to be in the front-facing position with the car seats it would have been impossible to install (1) because they physically dont fit, the car seats are too wide to put 3 in a row. (2) The framing that was installed in the van to make the bed is right up against the back of the seats and blocks where youd put the back tether. Luckily, we were able to use a booster for our older kid and it worked out- cant say I felt like they were safe in their seats but thankfully we made it back alive and well.KITCHEN STUFF: Yep they got the basics covered but youre gonna need coffee filters to use with the pour over cone they have. If you dont want to have to buy a 300 filter box pack em! The water pump was great to have but ours smelled like someone had accidentally filled it with gasoline! I washed our dishes with it a few times before I noticed AND im still alive! yay!GREY WATER: If your van has a sink it will inevitably have a grey water tank. Its not THAT dirty but I didnt feel good about dumping water at our campground. Feeling kind of neutral about that. All in all it was a good trip, Im glad we rented a camper van. It made it possible to stay at national parks and campgrounds with very young kids and not make it feel burdensome. Would recommend.

We were very glad we chose Escape for this trip! The van was in decent shape and actually handled better than expected for its size. We didnt use all of the features it offered, but the ones we did use worked perfectly fine. Keep in mind if youre planning to sleep in it during the winter months, its only heated when the engine is running and itll get cold inside just like your car. Bring lots of blankets!$$ - Pricing Info - $$ As a side note, we considered just renting a normal van from a standard car rental agency because comfortably fitting 5 of us plus 2 big dogs and a bunch of presents/luggage was the main priority; when we added up the total cost of this vs a standard van from another agency, they were actually very close and this has all of the extra utility. It was also pretty reasonable on gas. It ended up being a great deal, all in all.

We rented a camper last minute and the guy in the Denver office was incredible to work with! They understand effective communication, client services, etc. Unfortunately, our first vans AC was not working effectively, and after waiting to see if it kicked in by driving around for 30 min, we had to go back and switch vans. Again, the guy there on a Sunday afternoon in August was INCREDIBLE, understanding, and helped us switch vans very quickly! The van was also perfect for what we needed to cruise around Colorado for a week. I would HIGHLY recommend adding the rooftop tent to have more space (we have 2 boys) and/or to benefit from the cool, night breeze and watch a meteor shower too! Enjoy your adventures!

We rented an Escape Campervan in Denver to venture south to the Great Sand Dunes National Park. Our van was Rocky, one of the Maverick vans, and it was more than adequate and comfy for me and my two pre-teen kids. The bench/table to bed shift was really fast and easy. Everything in the kitchen set up worked perfectly for us. The things we added on were chairs and a kitchen kit (as Denver is not home and we did not fly with a lot of gear with us). My kids thought the colorful van was just magical and they loved it the day I woke up early and drove while they were still asleep, they said it was like time travel!Only downsides you might not be expecting- if you are driving in the mountains, be aware that the vans AC may cut off and on depending on the grade the van is climbing. Additionally, bring your own charging block, as the van does not have a USB or auxiliary plug where you may charge your mobile phone. We cant wait to rent an Escape camper van again for another adventure. Please come build a depot in Texas!

We loved our van and had a great experience at the pickup location! Our flight arrived early but they were able to help us get the van earlier than our scheduled time which was very helpful.
