The check in process was very smooth. The agent, Carolyn, was very informative and sweet! I was given an upgrade at no cost, a hybrid 2021 car, which was nice! The car was clean and gas tank full. I will definitely come back and recommend to my friends/family as well.

Straight forward honest sales team….didn’t try to upsell me on anything in fact found a promotion for me to upgrade for same price. Omar was super friendly and helpful and answered all our questions. He even gave us tips about the city and how to improve our visit to Denver. Easiest experience renting a car and the prices are good too. Even got an upgrade to our vehicle at no extra charge.

Rental reservation was made knowing we would be traveling to Kansas from Colorado by company. After we arrived, the shuttle from the airport never arrived forcing us to take a taxi to the off site rental facility. Once there we were informed we could not take the vehicle out of state and they cancelled our reservation but still charged us for a rental car we never received or used. Not only did they not fix their mistake in scheduling the rental, they charged for a rental that never occurred and we were forced to find another car.

Miss Ashley at the counter was terrific and very professional and courteous. She was outgoing and friendly. After many different cancelations and delays in flights, she made it simple ABC easy.The only thing that was disappointing was the cleanliness of the vehicle. One headlight was out and the windows were cloudy and smeared which after dark made it a bit difficult to see clearly. I was offered a different vehicle by the lot attendant but I was 4-5 late to my destination and took the vehicle. I feel that a clean and inspected vehicle would make for a higher level of customer satisfaction.

No problems at all with ACE. The car had less than 6K on it. Only suggestion would be that they clean the windows better inside and out. Customer service rep, Sky, was very pleasant and full of suggestions for our trip. Would certainly use ACE again. Thanks Sky.

When I arrived to pick up my car there was a long line that didnt move at all. The three customer service Representatives occupied themselves with the people in front of them for an interminable amount of time. There seemed to be no reason for the length of time it took to process each person. When I finally was able to go to a window the woman who was arranging for my car was insufferably rude. She scowled at me. She barked orders. She treated me like a child. She refused to answer questions. It was terrible. I will avoid Ace in the future.

I had read the previous reviews and was worried. The car we got was a Hyundai Sonata and although it was not as sparkly clean or new as one might get at other rental places, we had no problems with the service or car. In fact, Omar was very helpful. If you are more worried about value than sparkle, then I recommend renting from Ace. The price was much more reasonable than other places.

Lorenzo was great. We didn’t experience any of the issues that it seems others complained of- short line, friendly customer service, clean vehicle. No complaints here, especially for half the price of other car rental companies.

First let me say that Lorenzo was amazing. He helped me and my mother out at checkout and, seriously, made the whole process a breeze. I cannot say enough about him!Two stars are taken off for the slack-jaw who checked our car as we were leaving, including the gas tank. Our gas tank was clearly not full, really not even close, but he was taking a picture of the dash from outside of the car and, of course, at that angle it looked like it said full. My mother very politely informed him that it wasnt completely full and to please take a picture of it from straight on, that she would even get out so that he could. Barely even forming words he mumbled something about it being full. I dont mean that the guy couldnt speak English, I mean that he couldnt be bothered to move his mouth enough to form words. We werent expecting a talkative and social guy, but come ON.But, LORENZO was awesome!!!!!EDIT: Edited to take it down to 1 star. If youre going to respond as a business owner, at least read the review first so your reply doesnt sound so stupid. My review had nothing to do with selection of vehicles. And, your other replies to other people are actually really insulting. No one believes their feedback is doing a thing. Insert big eye roll here.

The staff at this location were very friendly and attentive. I will say there was a bit of air of smarminess or used car salesiness to the counter attendants. I was convinced to upgrade from a compact to an SUV and while I was happy with this upgrade it was the full tank of gas I purchased that I am not happy with. I was told that their prices are right around the same as what youll find out on the street. While that was basically true, give or take a cent or two, it sure wasnt what I was charged in the end. I made sure that I used as MUCH gas as possible so that I would get full value for the full tank I purchased. In the end I paid over $90 for a full tank of gas on a Jeep Cherokee that still had a quarter of tank left. While I get an extra fee for the convenience I dont understand nearly $70 for that fee. So my advice would be to NOT use this convenience.

Service was quick, pick up and drop off was straightforward. Carolyn was a pleasure to speak with, and she suggested we upgrade to a more appropriate vehicle for our travels. An unanticipated additional expense, but I definitely felt better/safer driving up certain mountains (not to mention the rain) in a Jeep rather than a standard sedan. Clean, comfy, met all expectations. (And by all expectations, I mean yes, upselling is to be expected haha)

First of all let me say I spent half of my day getting the run around at a different car rental facility. I finally decided to go back to the airport to have some lunch and reset. While eating lunch, I found ACE. I reserved the car online and went to the pickup spot. Ashley went above and beyond my expectations for a less expensive car rental facility. Kris was wonderful helping me rent my first car! I had originally reserved a small sedan, but Kris offered me a first time renter discount to upgrade to a wrangler and Im so glad I did! Been having so much fun cruising around with the top down. The only reason I gave it four stars is because the checkout process was pretty slow. There were 3 people at the desk and I was the 3rd-4th person in line and I stood inside close to hour before I was finally out the door. Otherwise everything went smoothly! Visiting Denver I selected ACE Rent A Car because they had the best prices available. When I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised by their professionalism. Akhir helped me get my vehicle and he was engaging, knowledgeable, and efficient. I was in and out in 10 minutes. All in all it was a great start to my vacation.

I was a little unsure of going with off airport parking, but we were not disappointed! Everyone we interacted with was friendly and professional and incredibly helpful. Our check-in and checkout process went smoothly. Our vehicle was so perfect for our trip. It was comfortable and clean and we felt totally safe in it. We did have to wait a little longer at the airport for the pick up shuttle than I’ve been used to, but if that’s all I can complain about, I’m a happy camper! Prices can’t be beat, either.

He had a great experience with ACE Car Rental. Theyre friendly and flexible. Are they Enterprise, no. Are they Hertz, no. But theyre simple and no frills style of operation is right where Im at! Dharin was so great, friendly and helpful to us. He found us the car we needed, even though that wasnt what we booked through the expedia app! The car was very nice and cleaned well even though it has signs of usage, everything worked perfectly. I have lost my reservation details, and just got online and made another reservation quickly to try and keep the positive energy on my vacation. When I arrived to pick up my car Lorenzo was able to find my original reservation and took great care of me. He was able to cancel The second reservation, and get us on our way. He could see I had my hands full with my two grandkids and little dog and he pulled the car up for us and loaded all of our suitcases in. Great experience withe ACE Rent a Car. Sky helped us with the rental of our Jeep Wrangler for the week. I felt that Sky was honest and we got in and in the road fairly quickly. I was dreading renting another car since I had a very bad experience withe Economy rental in Orlando earlier this summer. This experience was night and day different and i will use them again the next time I am in Denver!

This company is going to seriously hurt someone. My wife and i were on a 3 day retreat to see Garden of the Gods and RMNP so we flew into Denver Co as we had reserved a compact car from Ace 2 weeks prior to our trip. When we arrived at Ace the woman at the front desk (who is a wolf in sheep clothing) had asked my name and information which i proceeded to tell her i have my paperwork in hand for my reservation which she never looked at or took from me. After she took all my information she than explained that they only had Jeep Cherokees and nothing below . Which i than said how is that possible i reserved one 2 weeks prior ? I also said well than my upgrade should be free of charge which she said to me i can discount it but it will not be free. As i didnt have the time or energy to spend arguing about whether or not any of this was morally right i decided to cut my losses and just get on with renting what they had available . But that wasnt the worst part by far because as we began to get to our destination in Rocky Mountain National Park we had some snowfall and when it began gathered on the road i noticed the Jeep was starting to lose traction on the road which was making me sick to my stomach . This was the first time in my wife and i had a chance to get out on our own in 21 years and this rental car company ruined it . I am going to post an update as i would like to see what Ace responds to me as i believe the blanket issue apology statement is garbage in my book.All you 5 star ratings givers dont even realize the danger you were in. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

It was great. The shuttle was quick, close to airport, the line took a little bit but faster than another place I tried. Lorenzo was friendly and as efficient. Our vehicle was clean and awesome. Price was totally reasonable. I would definitely recommend them

BUT the agent and manager immediately checked other car rental agencies for us AND the manager drove us to budget car rental!! Kudos to ACE customer service!! Had a great experience with ACE Rent A Car. There was a slight wait for the shuttle from the terminal to the facility but it was only about 10 minutes. Nate was super nice behind the desk and set me up with my rental in no time. Returning the car was equally a great experience and there was no waiting on getting on the shuttle to get to the terminal.

The agent was trying to up sell. When we were not interested in an upgrade, she let us know, she had no time for us.Then the car was damaged. It had a piece of metal hanging underneath the car. The guy taking pictures of the car did not know what to do. We had to get back in line and figure it out with the agent. No apology for the inconvenience. She basically was like, what do you want. Then gave us a different car without comment. I reserved online, expecting better service. Will not rent from Ace again. And the car was not clean. It was dusty on the outside and there was garbage inside the car.

Misleading feesI reserved a car through priceline at a very competitive rate. However when you arrive at the office to pick up the rental that is when they start taking advantage of you. The cost of my rental nearly doubled. They also want to charge you for fuel that you do not use. I was charged for half a tank when the ACE representative informed me it took 1/8 of a tank to top the car off. I wish I would have looked at reviews before I rented from them. Ace has bad reviews on Google and Bad reviews on YelpUpdate to Ace rental car response:I did contact the customer care by email last week and I got an email back with a copy of the rental agreement. The charges remain the same and there is no refund on the fuel that was not needed. I do not like to give negative reviews. i prefer to work with a company if I have a dispute. I still was made to purchase products that were not necessary and paid over $200 a day for a compact car.

Yesterday when I picked up my rental it was a quick and easy experience. Not the usual car rental experience. The folks working at Denver airport were really friendly and helpful. They up graded me to a larger car for a very small extra costs. Car was in good shape and is very comfortable. Ace rental is a good deal.

DO NOT RENT FROM HERE! They push a bunch of upgrades on you. Dont buy the easy pass transponder. They told us wed be driving on toll roads and we didnt see a single toll. The car was not clean on the outside. Decent on the inside but super basic and we upgraded for over $200.

Terrible experience! My car wasnt even cleaned. The customer service I received was unprofessional. I was in a great mood when I walked in and I left in tears. I have rented in the past from other companys and have never had any issues. The gentleman that I dealt with was completely rude and shouldnt be in a customer service position. I feel sorry for whoever has to deal with this guy. Than to top it all off the car still had someones drink, mud on the floor and seats from the previous people. Im suprised during a Covid pandemic they would put their guests in a car that hasnt been cleaned from the previous drivers. I dont do reviews normally but this had to be said before some other family comes out hoping to have a great experience. My opinion pay alittle extra and have a good experience somewhere else. So disappointed.

Had a great experience renting from ACE with Dhiren. There was no line and he went above and beyond, explaining to me all the things I could do in Denver since it was my first time visiting. He also suggested that instead of renting a Nissan sentra which I had secured online, to upgrade to a Jeep since some of the hiking trails I wanted to go on would have steep hills. He gave me a price that was cheaper than what I wouldve paid online, and I really appreciated his advisement since yes there were some tricky hills in the places I drove to!

Sky was extremely helpful for two Pennsylvania tourists. Not only did he give great recommendations for things to do in Denver, but he made our car rental experience as smooth as possible. I arrived at Denver International Airport on an earlier flight than expected and I was pleasantly surprised and very pleased with my experience with Ace. I came in and Dejai exceeded my expectations for customer service! She was very accommodating and helpful! She assisted me in getting my rental car earlier than planned, and extended my drop off time, as that had changed when my original flight was canceled by the airline. I would recommend Ace to anyone I know. The shuttle driver from the airport was also very helpful and friendly, but I didn’t catch his name. So glad I chose Ace! 😊

Everything went very smoothly catching the shuttle and arriving at Ace Rent A Car. Our driver was awesome! As we stood in line we watched Sky handle two sets of customers who were in front of us. He was so nice and amazingly friendly. When it was our turn his demeanor seemed to change. He sat at his computer yawning and not engaging in conversation at all. He didn’t succeed at upselling and maybe that’s why he didn’t treat us like the others. When everything was signed he proceeded to throw the paper and keys on the counter and said “you’re set” and walked away. He didn’t even tell us the location of our car. We had to ask one of his co-workers. That is what I call very poor customer service. We walked away saying that we will never use Ace again. One person can make a huge decision in where customers choose to do their business.

We rented through an additional company - rental car 8. When we came to pick up our car they tried to charge additional fees and informed us upon arrival that there is no travel outside of the state - this would be a 1,400 dollar charge. The service and agreement were poorly managed and poorly communicated. Definitely would not recommend.Edit: I’ve seen multiple responses from the owner saying to contact the care team. When we called to inform them of our complaint and misleading information, they told us it was the customers responsibility to find the terms and agreements on the website and that they aren’t responsible for any misleading or incomplete information from a third party. They offered no assistance and no refund. We wasted 300 dollars.

I thought I was already saving money on my trip. When I arrived, Lorenzo upgraded my ride for free and helped me save even more money with some helpful tips! I would chalk this places bad reviews up to people just being generally grumpy when traveling. If ACE keeps hiring people like Lorenzo, theyll do just fine. He deserves a raise! Well done! 👏👍

Absolutely terrible location/business. Took an hour to pick up our car and hidden fees. They’ll push you to buy insurance even if your car insurance covers rentals (the guy asked me 3 times). I would check out Avail car sharing instead - price is upfront and WAY cheaper.

Just missed the shuttle at the airport. We called after waiting 20 minutes and were told the next one would be another 20 minutes, so we opted to Uber for $12. Once we got to Ace, we were next in line and had the pleasure of Lorenzo’s service. He was very friendly and gave us good advice about toll roads and areas of Colorado we would be visiting. We ended up with a standard car, which is what we reserved. All in all, a good experience!

Had a terrible experience with every other Rental company. Lorenzo made the process seem less and worry free. Took care of me and got me in and out in no time. Highly recommend Lorenzo and this company.

The worst rental car company I’ve ever dealt with. NO WHERE on the booking page said you cant leave the state with the rental. I feel like that is something that should be a major point to let customers know. Also when I booked it said my estimated charges were $127 but then when I got their my charges were $490. I ended up leaving without a car and getting a car somewhere else for only $150 and no fear to explore outside the state if I want to.

Tip for those looking for the shuttle from Denver International: Ace stand is the furthest to the right as you leave the airport amd head to the rental shuttle lanes. They have almost non-existent signage. Ashley at the service desk was very helpful and got us a Jeep Cherokee upgrade for a good deal. Point off b/c said Cherokee had a tire leak that required filling each of 3 days. Checking back in was smooth an easy. Hopped on shuttle and had plenty of time back at the airport.

1. Shuttle wasnt big enough for all the people in line at the airport and we were left behind. We were told the next shuttle would be there in 2 to 3 minutes. It was half an hour.2. Tried to call to tell them wed be late, and nobody answered the phone.3. The line inside the place was so long that we had to wait there for an hour waiting to be helped.4. Another couple left a bag in their rental car, and it was stolen in minutes. They went back to get it, and it was gone.I realize they may be short-staffed due to the holiday, but this is ridiculous. You get what you pay for. Go somewhere else.

Felt very bait-and-switch; had an economy car reserved and the agent told me there was no way it was getting us to the Red Rocks ampitheater. I explained we were just going there and no where else, do they really have an ampitheater that many cars cannot reach? I had never been there so I had to trust him - he upsold us a jeep - turns out the original car would have easily made the trip.The jeep was fine, clean, very bare-bones, but def irritated that I went with this company to save a little money and then spent what I would have elsewhere.

Leah really helped us out. She is great! This should have been a negative experience. We rented with Hotwire and did not realize we could not cross state lines. We needed to get to Wyoming. However, Leah was on it.. She called around, used her connections to book us a car with another small car rental. Arrangements were most satisfactory, with a great car at a great rate. Rented a car at Denver airport 8/18/2021-08/24/2021. The girl at the ACE counter told me get the full tank and return on empty because we only charge $3.69 per gallon and it costs $3.75 per gallon on the outside... the girl at the counter conveniently leaves out that there will be 35.01% add on for taxes and fees that youd never have to pay at the gas station. This leaves you paying $4.98 per gallon... not exactly cheaper than the outside. I hate liars and people who knowingly lie through omission. Ended up costing an additional $32. Not much money but when add up them doing that to many customers then it can add up to a sizable fraud.Adding on my opinion regarding the companies response below... they totally ignore their employee lied. Small print on contracts mean nothing when your employees are lying to customers at the checkout counter... no time to read all that verbiage and you know it! Corporate sanctioned fraud. Attorneys General for Colorado will be contacted as will the Better Business Bureau.

Kris was great and so very helpful! He made renting a car fun and even showed us how to display the mapping on our vehicle! Great experience!

Rental cars are hard to come by in Denver this week. When Enterprise cancelled my reservation due to my flight being delayed, I was stranded in Denver and there were no cars available. Ace was able to get me set up with a car and provide a solution for how to drop off the car when I have a 6am flight. Carolyn at Ace was extremely helpful! Thank you, Thank you!

My flight was delayed, I called to adjust my reservation. Was not told the last shuttle from the airport leaves at 8pm. I reach the podium to wait. Thankfully a Hertz driver explained that Ace will not be coming to pick up after 8pm and this happens ALL the time because this information is not listed anywhere. I called customer service and spoke w a rep in Vegas who was nice but didnt apologize for the confusion.

A waste of time. I flew in to Colorado after a death in my family. I had made the reservation a week through American Express before flying. I had to go to Wyoming, too. I needed to save money and Ace seemed to be an OK option. After flying in we took the shuttle. A customer and the Ace shuttle driver were in a heated argument. We minded our own business and got to the office. It doesnt look very professional. Cars are dirty. The guy at the Ace office asked where I was driving. When I told him my plan he said I couldnt take the car outside the state. I told him nowhere in the info provided to me did it state that. He told me that its on Aces site and that third-party sites like American Express dont provide all the details. I said they should. But I fault Ace for approving agreements with reputable companies that lead to misleading customers. I asked for a ride to a competitor. He said sure but I just got taken back to the airport. I promptly got a car from a competitor and I was able to go outside the state and anywhere else I wanted. I didnt have to tell them my plans. Their service was fast, efficient and the price was almost the same. Just go with a reliable well-known rental car company straight up and not a business like this, especially when you dont need to make your already stressful trip more so. Its not worth the time or little bit of money you might save.
