I just had to make one of the hardest phone calls to Bernard to cancel my policies with him. My girlfriend moved in recently, and with the family discount she gets, along with her wanting to insure her items in the house under her policy, we made the decision to bundle everything with her company for now.This is nothing to do with Allstate, or ESPECIALLY with Bernard and his family. They have been BEYOND wonderful, and have helped me on multiple occasions over the many years Ive been a client. I even stayed with his agency after moving out of state rather than finding a local agent.Bernard will go above and beyond to make sure you are well taken care of! Hes a great guy, and I cant thank him enough. Hell take great care of you, I promise!

The claim process is excellent. I had a flood in my house and they covered it 100%+ and also did a great job of renovating the house and allowing us to move back in. Bernard has been my Allstate agent and has been very helpful for probably over 20 years. Any time Ive had questions or issues Ive always been able to get clarifications from him.Im sure he is very busy, but he has always taken whatever time was necessary for my policy.

I have had a policy with Allstate Bernard Demichelis for many years on my mountain property. I received a letter stating they were canceling it. Bernard said he would help me get it renewed. It was required for me to meet an inspector on the property so that they could review the property for my policy so drove up into the mountains to meet the inspector at my property. The inspector advised they would probably make install ballards on a railing at the side entrance and he was done within 20 minutes for the whole inspection. Two and half weeks later I have not heard from Mr Demichelis so I called him today to see what the results were and he had no clue. He replies let me get to desk and looks in the system and at first kind seem to find any notes from the inspection. He finally finds the file and reviews it to say Oh yeah corporate has taken a new stance on these mountain properties and they do not want to renew your policy. I replied I have been a good paying customer for a long time and you know my cabin is on forest land why would they not renew me. He said well they dont make any money on these types of policies and it just is not worth their time. So I said well then that is it your not renewing me and He stated Yes unless of course who handles your auto insurance I replied what does that have to do with anything and he again said well if we have more of your business it might make it easier for me to get this policy renewed. Unbelievable I told him I had never been treated so badly from an individual in my LIFE. I can only hope that someone reads this and runs away from Allstate if this is their way of treating people and PLEASE run away from Bernard Demichelis as an Allstate Agent in Aurora Colorado. He does not belong in a business that is supposed to help people protect and take care of their personal assets.

I had a incident where my insurance was inactive due to an error in this time my vehicle was damaged by hail I went to Barnard about this issue after researching it he reinstated my insurance and the insurance company took care of the damages to my car also I had a time when my vehicle had to be taken to a shop and Bernard came from his home to pick me up and take me to my house to retrieve my other vehicle on his own time and never ask for anything in return I highly recommend Allstate Insurance and Bernard and his crew are the best.
