I frequently go here for oil changes, they are fast, friendly, courteous to each other within the shop. The past two times Ive been there they have offered me discount. Good local spot for an oil change. They also do inspections.

They are professional every time. Ive also sent my daughter there with her car and she says the same thing. They are very helpful as well.

I have been to this location 5+ times to try and get my car inspected. Inspector will be in tomorrow at this time, Inspector is at lunch, Inspection machine is down. Things happen and I understand if you only have one man to do inspections but I have been lied to repeatedly about when inspections will be available. To top it all off, if you call their phone, you are directed to a national call center, so they have no idea and no ability to tell you if inspections are available. So I drive over there, get told no, get told exactly what times inspections are available by their Assistant Manager, show up twice during those times and I was turned away. If you dont want my business then at the very least dont lie to me to make your life easier, just tell me you dont want to inspect my car or will not be able to so I should go elsewhere.

The service technicians were very friendly and informative. They have a monitor right next to you so you can see what exactly the prices are and any upcoming recommended maintenance.

They were more interested in upselling me things I did not need rather than just doing what I came for. Very unprofessional and poor way to run a business.What does a $25 upsell do if youre losing substancially more money in the long run from repeat customers by damaging credibility, being pushy, and taking advantage of people? Very disappointing.

Service people are nice, however, got my truck inspected there and it was failed due to a muffler. According to NYS inspection laws, from what I read a muffler will not fail inspection. I had 3 other shops claim it would pass the way it was. Along with that, they never appeared to have tested my parking brake, which last I knew WAS apart of the inspection. Along with viewing them do another vehicles inspection, no tires were removed and shaking/check for their E-brake never occurred. Bringing vehicles in here for maintenance is acceptable not preferred, and getting your vehicle inspected here is not recommended.

I called for the prices of an oil change and the guy who answered the phone was very rude to me when I asked about the oil change and when I could come on down Ive never had a problem with valvoline until a few weeks ago sorry just now saw the reply...He must of been having an off day

There I was, stranded at what was then four and a half hours into a long trip. My car was acting up, and these guys were the only ones in town who could and would help me not just that day, but that instant!Ten minutes later I was on the road again driving what felt like a brand new car (its an 02). Went there three times and either the inspector wasnt there or the computer was down. Finally got it done and it failed for my third brake light being out. The guy said he could fix it and I said ok. Then he says he cant because its a strip and he doesnt have that. Yes its a strip but its individual bulbs. So I took it home and my teenage son fixed it. Went back the next day and was told the guy had just left. I live 15 minutes away which isnt terrible but 5 times........ it adds up. I went to Fairmont and they gave my my sticker with no problem.

Well I went there to get an oiland they said that my serpentine belt was old and I needed a new filter so I bought all that stuff dont know if I need it or not now. And then two weeks later Im getting ready to take a little trip I had my friend check all my oil was down 3/4 there was hardly no power steeringand I had to add almost to 3/4 of a gallon of antifreeze and they told me they checked and I called them up and they said oh it must be due to your driving I dont drive so I was very disappointed so now I dont believe that my serpentine belt was bad or my air filter was bad will never go there again

Great place for an oil change. With that being said I would not recommend an inspection! Fast ill give them that. But I had to buy 2 wiper blades because of a small and I mean small rip in them they said. I didnt see any rip before going in. Come on guys really!

Update 05 November 2019:Valvoline Corporate did the right thing in this instance. They investigated what happened at their instant oil change facility in Auburn, NY, and agreed to reimburse me for my expenses. They are a stand up organization, and I would try them again. If you give special instructions, I suggest you observe the technicians to be assured the task is accomplished as requested.Original post:I called ahead to make sure they had the correct oil filter for a Ford F-250 6.7L Diesel which is not the typical motor. I pulled in and was promptly brought into the service bay. The technician went over what services I wanted performed. I said change oil and filter, and check tire pressures to 65psi. I specifically stated DO NOT DO ANY OTHER SERVICES OR CHECK ANY OTHER FLUIDS. I waited in the customer lounge until I was advised the truck was ready. I go to retrieve truck and pay my bill when I was advised that they had topped off my coolant. I protested vehemently. I did not want you adding coolant. Ford is very specific on this particular Diesel engine model which coolant to use, Motorcraft ORANGE coolant, and that it IS NOT compatible with common green coolant. Now my coolant has been contaminated. I immediately called Summit Ford, a dealership about a mile away. Luckily, they were able to take me right in, and are performing a drain, flush, and refill of the correct coolant at a cost I anticipate in the range of $200. Valvoline Headquarters will be hearing about this disregard for my explicit instructions. I will be asking for reimbursement of the costs for this coolant flush and change.Edit: Now, the following morning, I reviewed my paperwork and notice that my receipt was falsified to indicate they did not top off the coolant. These are dishonest, untrustworthy actions taken by technicians who cannot follow explicit instructions. Never would I trust this business again.

The staff here are courteous and effective. The prices are high for the services offered, especially oil changes and they naturally push the best option for you cars maintenance and longevity. The crew work extremely quickly and they have a sense of humor when dealing with shoddy do-it-yourself work. I am a customer here especially because one does not need to make appointments, which helps one with a hectic schedule. The only caveat I would add is that they may be unwilling to allow one to choose a less expensive oil change option if it will not maximize your vehicles performance. My Nissan Rogue can run on 5W30, standard motor oil as per the owners manual, but they insisted on using a synthetic blend or full synthetic. Not a place for cheapskates, but and you get what you pay for (which means excellent results in this case).

The assistant manager Josh was very persistent about giving my spot in line to someone else. I got so tired of hearing it for the fourth time that I just moved and gave him what he wanted. His boss will be hearing from me more.

That place has such a perfect set up. Ur literally in and out and an oil change is not such a big ordeal like with a lot of garages. Yay!!! Gotta love convenience

Terrible! I called to make sure they were able to do inspections. Was told they were, drove in horrible weather to get there only to be told their machine was down. Was very disappointed.

Staff was pleasant and easy to talk too. Didnt feel too pressured for additional extra stuff that wasnt on my bucket of things to replace.Unfortunately they fell short of my expectations when it came time to finish up everything. On the way home I noticed a rattling noise from underneath. To my dismay I noticed the skid plate was held on with only the rear bolts. The front was just flapping in the breeze and clanging away. One front bolt was sheared off and the others were missing completely. The front fascia was also not buttoned up and missing a couple of push pins. The tech most likely forgot as he was rushed at the end of the day and probably disoriented from having the metal skid plate fall on his head while originally removing it. For his own safety I hope next time hell be offered some help.For now I replaced the missing bolts at my cost and time. Unfortunately the timing is bad as I have better things to do than wrench on my car 8 hours before a family road trip. Hopefully these are the only things missing.

I always get my oil changed here. They explain everything and dont try to rip you off! Thats rare......

This is my Valvoline. My only vehicle is a Fleet vehicle and Im on my 2nd one with the company. For anything Valvoline is capable of doing, I will only take it to this location and its 100% because of the service they provide. They make sure my car is in top shape every month or so (I do a LOT of driving) when I pull in for oil. The service here is my favorite. Very friendly and efficient so I can get back on the road. Thanks guys (and gal!)

Got my oil changed here before my parents took the car to go a couple states over to see friends. During the trip they lost a quart of oil because the guys at Valvoline didnt screw the cap tight enough. When I went back and told them, one man said that it was already tight (because my dad of course tightened it upon realizing it was loose) and told me I had a leak instead (like they wouldnt have told me before?). When I went to a real mechanic, they said everything was fine. Never spending my money at Valvoline again.
