Nikki always does such an amazing job on my nails! I can show her any design & it always comes out better than the picture. If I have a theme in mind I can tell her my ideas & she freestyles my vision. Not to mention, she’s literally the sweetest person ever & goes above and beyond to accommodate her clients. Pretty much every time I get my nails done I also get a pedicure and every technician I’ve had has been amazing as well! Especially after a long day at work, it seems like my pedicures get better every time I go!

Nikki was incredible! She went above and beyond to make sure my nails were perfect for my upcoming wedding. She was super patient and made sure all of the details were just right. I would recommend her salon a million times over. Her entire staff are incredible artists and so their job well!

Even though it was super busy and I had to wait for an extremely long time, it was completely worth it! And the lady was so kind to me and stayed after hours to finish them so I could have them for prom the next day! They are absolutely beautiful and matched my iridescent dress perfectly.

I recently started seeing Nikki for my nails. I’ve always wanted “boujee” nails but I’ve always gotten my same ole same ole square round with bubble bath or funny bunny lol. I’ve never been so in love with my nails until I started seeing Nikki she never disappoints. Not to mention to salon it’s self is super clean

I have used Lua Spot Nails for a year now and it has sadly gone down hill. I didn’t want to have to write this but my experience yesterday was too bad not to warn others.HEALTH CONCERNS: She used what looked to be a heavily used filed and foam buffer. The major issues started when she started cutting into my skin with the file and drill used for dip to the point of bleeding. I jumped and told her ouch and pointed to the blood she looked at me dumbfounded and mumbled what I assume was sorry. She did this several more times. I walked out with 5 bloody cuts in total. I will post photos if I can. THEN: in the time I was letting the dip dry I watched her use the same files with my actual blood on it on another patron. I was stunned.ADDITIONALLY:All I went in for was dip nail. I choose a color (light pink) but asked the lady if this was a “see through” color as this has been an issue previously. She said it would be okay. I reinterred that I am happy to choose another color as I do not want to have see through polish. She brought it over and I asked again. She told me no this is not see through. SPOILER: I walked out with seen through polish. There is also what I can only describe as “debris” in the dip nail. Looks like bumps and white strife on the nails. My nails were also filed very very unevenly and so blatantly different lengths.

I’ve been going for two years and I haven’t been disappointed one time. Nikki is the best, I love her and her work is of the best quality. She takes her time and she’s there to satisfy her customers. She gives you exactly what u ask for and you can tell she loves what she does. I’ll never go any where else..

I love this salon! It is definitely (without a doubt) the best salon to get dip! I ask for an extra layer to make it a little thicker and they don’t break! I can be rough with them as times, lol. They are always busy so I have had to see multiple people and the whole staff is amazing at what they do! I have loved my manicure and pedicure every single time! I won’t go anywhere else!

The female nail technician was impatient and seemed annoyed that I did not prefer gel polish. She grudgingly found a alternative, but by then the tone had been set. Language should not be a barrier to kindness. That crosses all cultures. I understand a bad day but customer service is key.

This establishment leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to pedicures. The service is half hearted at best which is a shame considering the options available.

Best place in auburn to get your nails done! All the staff is very friendly and will give you the exact nails you want! Nikki does amazing nails and will do any picture or idea that you can come up with no matter how challenging it is she can do it for you. I recommend this place to everyone!

I called and made an appointment three days prior to this manicure. Upon getting to LuA, I was told they had no information regarding an appointment for me but they’d get me in anyway. They failed to tell me this would take over an hour. After finally getting to me, my manicurist rushed the fastest full set I’ve ever seen onto my nails. These acrylics were not placed even close to my cuticles, (which also weren’t even pushed back or taken care of in any way), and they were the thickest and most uneven nails I’ve ever had. There were also parts in the polish I could see through. After only six days I had to go elsewhere to get a fill. Also, these terrible nails cost $55 which is more expensive than most salons in auburn. I will never return.

I went up there to get my nails done I was recommended by 4 people so I was like let’s give them a try the pedicure was great until I got home the nail polish was already chipping this has never happened anywhere else I also got my nails done I wanted flowers on my nails and I’ll post a picture they look like polka dots I wanted to cry in the car I’m not one to make a scene because I work in a restaurant and I know what it’s like for someone to bash you but no they cut my finger with their tools my friend too but she had blood coming out of hers I usually leave tip this was terrible service terrible quality terrible work!!!! As particular as I am, this is my go-to place. I’ve been to many others in the area and NO one can touch them.Nikki and her staff are always so willing to accommodate all of my requests (and that’s not easy). I am extremely picky and have high expectations. They make sure to meet every one of my needs.I refer so many people here and have no doubt that they will take great care of everyone.

I went in with bare nails and toes to get acrylics on my nails and gel polish on my hands and feet. There was a slight language barrier with the first lady that started filing my toes, but eventually we understood each other to where I told her I just want the basic pedicure. At least I thought we understood each other. After that, a man came to polish them. I went to check out and I was a little shocked at the price and so I asked what all did the price include? The owner overheard and said all I was charged for and it included a polish removal. I didnt want to cause a scene because I was having a good day, so I gave them the $5 extra dollars. There was no polish on my toes when I walked in. Im not sure where the polish removal came from, but I wont be coming back if theyre randomly adding on to their services.The point is: I never came in with polish or gel on my nails in the first place.

Ladies (or gentleman) if you are looking for a place in auburn to get your nails done this is the spot! I have been going here for about a month now and I have zero complaints. I get my nails done by Nikki and she is fantastic and always accommodating to what you want whether it’s dip acrylic or a design on your nails! I would 10/10 recommend Lua to anyone looking to relax, have good conversation and love the work done on you!

My daughter and I went for mani/pedi’s today. My pedicure was not fully painted on both big toes so I had to get the bottle and finish painting it myself. My manicure was very hurried and not completed. My acrylic nails were left sharp and rough and the glitter polish on one finger was clumpy and splotchy and has already started peeling up. Under my nails was full of half-filed shards of acrylic, and When I asked for help fixing it I was met with confusion from the nail tech. She ended up taking a buffer and barely touching the undersides of my nails which changed nothing. All of the nails on my hand feel flimsy and not well glued down which makes me nervous to touch things for fear of breaking them off.I used to go to this nail shop often but will not return based off of this pitiful $125 experience.

Lua Spa is hands down the best nail salon in the area!! I get dip/acrylic. I get coffin shape and it is perfect every time! At other salons I go home and reshape them with a nail file. Nikki (the owner) can do ANY design/picture you show!! Auburn/Opelika is lucky to have a place Like Lua!

I’ve been to this nail shop faithfully, but will not be returning. I called to schedule an appointment. When I arrived I was told there was no appointment. I left and then called to reschedule appointment and the same thing happened once again. Everyone was very rude and less than accommodating.

I was so happy to find this shop and be able get work done with Niki. Niki goes above and beyond to make sure all customers are satisfied with the work they have recieved and if for any reason they are not satisfied she is always ready and willing to do what it takes to make things right. Everyone is always so welcoming and nice, they always make you feel at home and like you are family. Making appointments is very easy and they are always on time. I have always been happy with any service that I have recieved and would reccomend this shop over any other in town.

I have been supporting T nails and now the Lua Spot nails since 2015. I now live near Georgia and drive to auburn for their service but this will now stop. I received terrible service Tuesday after waiting for almost 20 minutes to see two white customers go ahead of me. One of the owners Nikki came up with an excuse that because they were getting dip powder and I was receiving gel nail service that they were put ahead. Each person in the shop Is familiar with doing Gel and dip powder services Nikki continues to lie in order to put customers first whom she thinks are more important. This is not the first time this has happened. I got my eyebrows done, paid for my service, and left the shop after being told to wait longer for 10 extra minutes. I will not be returning. For anyone who isn”t Caucasian or spending a lot of money should support another shop because you will be treated as less than.

I’ve been there 3 times and twice I was looked over when it came to getting my pedicure. I waited while people who came in after me were serviced before I was. I even had an appointment and didn’t receive a full pedicure, I only got the nail polish on my toes.

Probably the worst pedicure I’ve ever gotten. Took them 45 min to start on my feet as I sat by my friend who got his started instantly. Feet isn’t even smooth and was not massaging what so every.

I got my nails and toes done on 7/20/2020. I got the dip powder on my nails and gel on my toes. The older gentleman that did my nails was rough and not friendly at all. The dip powder was full of glitter and not what I wanted at all. It absolutely did not look like what I picked from there book of colors. He also did not shape my nails correctly. They were all crooked. When he finished my nails he left all of the dust from the dip powder on my nails and walked away and started on a new client. The women that did my toes had to finish up my nails as well. They charged me $80 for a half done mess. The next day I was so upset I called manager and told her I was unhappy. She told me I can come and get them fixed and she would charge me $20. 7/22/2020 I went back to get them fixed and they looked so much better but then they wanted to charge me another $60 to fix what they messed up. The manager then went back on her word and charged me $30 to fix nails and toes. The manager told me it was my fault for not getting the names of the employees that did my nails and toes. Maybe she should have her employees wear nametags! Im so upset this was my first time pampering myself since having my baby and it was not a good experience!

My husband also got a manicure(his first one ever) they really cleaned his hands up nice since his job keeps them pretty dirty.Definitely coming here again!

Not only did she take her time and make sure I was happy with every detail, but she executed it better than i ever could have imagined. Great waxing service

Today I went in for a pedicure at about 5:30. They closed at 6 so I asked if they had time to do it and they said yes. I showed the told the lady what I wanted and she said she could do it( I was getting a get French tip). The pedicure was okay, she left soap and little white particles on my feet and did not remove them when she put the lotion on. When she was doing the gel, she was having trouble with the colors drying and it was getting smudged. She had to start over with the white French tip a few times. By this time, it was around 6:30. This man started to yell at the lady doing my toes and I assume she told him that the color was not drying. He then went and got another gel dryer and I put my foot under it. When the timer was done he snatched it away from my foot and hits the dryer against my foot. She puts the second coat on and when she puts the dryer on top of my foot. He pushes my foot (what’s seen in the video on yelp). While my last coat is drying she explains that my foot wasn’t all the way in the dryer and that the workers were ready to go home. She never told me to adjust my foot which I would have if she asked. (she’s smiling I guess to lighten the mood). They made me pay before all this happened so yeah.

I went and got my nails done and my nails are broke off day after day and I have texted them multiple times and they just look at my message and not write back but I love there nail shop very clean and nice

Me and my mother-in-law call for appointments and we came in and was greeted immediately with kind words. When seated at our pedicure chairs, the workers were trying their best to make us as comfortable as possible. The luxurious pedicure paired with amazing massage on the spa chair was heaven!

The guy with the tattoos covering his right arm made the skin on the sides on my nails completely raw. It still hurts and I will not be going back.

I took my 81 year old Mother in Law who has diabetes and is very nervous to have her nails done, due to the fear of being nicked and causing her to bleed. When I walked in, I explained the situation to the lady at the counter and requested someone who would be patient and gentle with her. They are always so busy and work so fast but do a good job. I never give reviews but Ellen was wonderful with my MIL. I can’t thank you enough Ellen! You made her feel very comfortable and did a great job too! We will be back and she only wants to see you! Thank you for making it a wonderful experience for her!

The over all vibe of the place is amazing! its incredibly relaxing and their pedicures are top notch. The music is very calming, I came in with a few friends and although they were busy, they were able to finish our services quickly and efficiently.

I went in yesterday with some of my friends and it was great. The employees were very nice and funny as well. My nails look very cute and they offer free refreshing drinks! My friends said that the people who did their nails were amazing as well. I will definitely come back!

I came in with my boyfriend at the very last minute and a lady name Kacey did my nail. She did a wonderful job and my nails look fantastic. They have a lot of colors to choose from too and one of the employees even helped me select my color. I also got a pedicure and it was amazing the massage was heavenly. My boyfriend enjoyed his first pedicure and we will definitely come back.

I wanted a specific color and was not helped at all on matching the color showed. The nail tech didnt even pretend to care and I believe she was the manager. I was brushed off. It was my second visit. I received a bad vibe the first time but graciously tried again. Same customer service..... Below what I am use to. This is not the type of atmosphere for me.

NO, NO, NO. Ive only been twice and both experiences were terrible! Theyre rough, the spa experience feels rushed, they dont pay attention to what theyre doing at all!!! If I could give them less than 1 star I would. I went yesterday to have my eyebrows done and the lady rang me up for someone elses transaction, one for 90$ instead of 10$, because again she wasnt paying attention. I love this place! Every time I come, I am impressed with their work. (Kacey is bomb!). There has been a time (Saturday morning at time of open) that I’ve had to wait because other staff had not arrived yet. For the quality and service, I didn’t even mind the wait.

The dip colors hardly ever match. What you pick out is NOT what you get. I’ve seen it happen at least 6 times in this salon and it happened to me twice. Also, whatever they use will make your dip color glittery. Even if you say NO GLITTER, they will come out with glitter. This happened to me and the girl next beside me. I’m not sure if it’s the clear coat they use or what. They are significantly more expensive. They will only offer beverages to their favorite customers or certain customers of their choice. Other salons will give you water without even having to ask. I wouldn’t recommend this salon. There’s so many other salons in Auburn that are more professional, better, nicer, and a lot cheaper. This salon doesn’t really care about customer satisfaction. I’ve seen them make many mistakes and there’s always an excuse. They can’t ever just say sorry, fix it, and move along. Instead there has to be a reason and they try to justify why this or that happened. Oh and they won’t even give you a $1-3 discount if they mess up. Also, do NOT go back if something happens even in the same day. They will charge you.

I ABSOLUTELY love this place!!! The customer service is top notch! They deliver beyond my expectations every time!! I split my services up just to visit them more often! Lol they really value their customers! If you have any issues with your services they will quickly seek a resolution that’s pleasing to you! This nail salon is absolutely amazing! I won’t ever use another nail salon ever again! I was a walk-in today for the first time and had the best experience! My 3 year old daughter came in with me and dropped a bottle of nail polish and it went everywhere! I was absolutely mortified and my daughter started crying! Nikki and her staff made sure to make us feel comfortable and gave my daughter some love and told her it was all going to be fine! Very impressed with this! Hannah was my manicurist and she did amazing! I absolutely love my nails and this salon! Can’t wait to come back again! 😀

I brought a party of three for spa treatment and we were treated like friends and royalty. They were so courteous and professional and catered to us with the utmost attention. We are local and will be coming back for another relaxing time. Two thumbs up!!

One of the worst nail experiences I have ever had. I get my nails done consistently. They always last 3 weeks. The woman who did my pedicure was FANTASTIC. As far as my nails go though, it was horrible. I asked for dipped nails with a matte finish. The nail tech put on a glossy finish and then after realizing her mistake, she just buffed it off and didn’t put on another top coat. When I asked her about it they told me that there was a top coat on. My nails immediately chipped and broke. They didn’t last three days. I went back in and got them fixed. When I went to leave, the nail tech tried to charge me since she had to fix all of my nails. The fixed nails also didn’t make it through the week.

Yes I recommend them! I had SNS nails done and fill ins and pedicures. The facility is clean. I received many compliments on my SNS nails .The staff is friendly. The prices are reasonable. I will come back when I am ready to have my nails done again. Keep up the great work.

I’ve been to LuA several times. The first few times my experience was excellent. Son did my pedicure on those occasions and I’d give him a zillion stars. He was very nice and I was happy with my nails. I can’t remember the women who did my dip polish on those occasions but I wasn’t disappointed nor overly impressed but liked my experience enough to continue coming back.However, this weekend my friend and I went. The customer service from the women working was AWFUL. They were very rude.I believe it was either the manager or owner who did my nails. My dip manicure was rushed. I completely understand being busy, but you can still be nice to your customers. My nails looked okay, but my friends were less than average. Our pedicure experience was fine, as usual.Neither of us are the type to complain so we sat at the dryer; and each paid our roughly 70.00 and still tipped. While at the dryer the poor customers next to us were also complaining about the attitude of the employees and their nails. One girls manicure looked so bad that she was googling other salons to go have it fixed.I’ll likely return since I don’t want to give up after one bad experience; however I hope the customer service improves. I can understand being busy (which they weren’t very busy), training, stressed, etc. but none of that is an excuse to be rude to customers.Today you get 2 stars... I’ll happily give a better review if I have better service later.*** Update: My nails didn’t even last 5 days before the first one chipped and within the first week 3 of my nails had a crack. I probably will not be returning to Lua.

Love CeCe and Nikki work!!! I have been going to them for over 4 years now. The shop is so beautiful and the whole staff really takes care of the clients all the time. They go out of their way to make sure you have a relaxing experience. Keep up the great work!!!!

The manager is very RUDE she acts as if she is better than any other human being! She neglects her long time customers and chooses when she wants to do nails. EVERYTHING is over priced a full set plus a pedi you are looking at 100 plus dollars which is fine if granted customer service. Believe the bad reviews on here it’s nothing but the truth followed by her excuses. When it should be apologizes along with her saying she needs to grow to be a better manager! I WILL NEVER IN MY LIFE COME BACK TO THIS NEGATIVE ENVIRONMENT. Granted it’s very clean in there looks amazing but not WORTH the 89 dollars I spent!

Hands down, they are the best nail techs you will find! I absolutely love them! I’m extremely picky about any service I receive. And I can honestly say they don’t disappoint. Cece and Nikki always treat you like family. Julia is so sweet and so Katana. Everyone! The atmosphere is very relaxing. You come and your immediately acknowledged and they go straight to servicing you. The offer complimentary drinks while you wait. And there are so versatile in the services they offer from different nail services, eyelash extensions, waxing, and even henna tattoos. I love over the top, intricate designs.. I literally come in show Cece a picture and she nails is or does it better EVERYTIME!

First time getting dip and the gentleman did a beautiful job. He didn’t let me leave until it was perfect. I’m not someone that gets nails done regularly but now I will be.

Advised me that they would be charging 24.00 to do a polish change on my feet, advised me that they werent doing regular polish when they just polished my feet with regular polish the week before told me I had to get gel polish,scamming forcing customers to spend more money..Additionally appointment times are not honored still an extensive wait!Manager needs a different position, I understand in order to run a business it takes money but they are overcharging a standard pedicure is 27.00 now 30.00 since they are up charging .and you want me to pay 24.00 just for a color change.

Loved my pedicure there. And they also serve complimentary drinks. Will definitely be coming back
