Owner, Jeff Spoors, initially came out to estimate the scope of work & saw a way to incorporate the new installations with a unit we already had. Fantastic!!Some difficulty with availability of equipment —thanks Covid— threw schedules off, but Spoors kept me informed & the job was smoothly completed Wednesday & Thursday of this week. Kevin & Marty, who did the installation, were great, very professional, easy to with & I appreciated their patience with my questions. The need for cooler indoor temps were crucial to his well-being. The office personnel responded by calling a regular customer who very willingly agreed to a later appt. and then diverted a nearby service person to our home.We can not be more thankful for the scheduler, the knowledgeable repairman who quickly determined and fixed the problem and of course the generous customer who relinquished her times spot.

The technician had a big job on his hands. Process of elimination of why the 20 year old air conditioner was working correctly. He worked hard for 2 1/2 hours. Ive been using an electric heater since last winter because my wall heater was not working correctly, somewhat effective but very expensive. I finally contacted a local heat and air company to request service on the heater but they didnt offer that service. To their credit, they referred me to Spoors Heating and Air. I knew from my first contact with Chris in the office, that this was the company for me! They were courteous and professional from the very beginning. Their serviceman John spent at least 2 hours trying to get my wall heater to work. He recommended, and I agreed, that it needed to be replaced. The owner Jeff came to my house to give me a bid and an approximate time for installation. He initially planned for about 3 weeks out but decided he didnt want me to be without heat for Christmas. Who does that??? Spoors Heating and Air, thats who! Mack installed my heater today. Its beautiful (if a wall heater can be considered beautiful) and its warm! Both my air conditioners broke within 4 days of each other. They are REALLY old units and my husband insists of repairing them instead of replacing. The tech can out and spent longer than he planned trying to get it to work. We needed up having to order parts for both. Tech comes back out and spent more time than he expected but he got one to work. Now we are into the difficult repair. I really like the staff at spoors. Nikki is fabulous and the tech is really good. He wont leave you without air without trying everything he can to get it working until the parts come in or what is needed for a more long term fix. I recommend this company they will get someone out to you quickly. They are reasonably priced as well.

Spoors is EXCELLENT. A horrible (other a/c company) inspected our unit and said we needed a new compressor or a/c system, so we got a 2nd opinion. Spoors came out & fixed our a/c in 5 minutes and we did not need a new compressor or new system. We will never go to anyone else!! For tech knowledge, very fair prices and honesty I HIGHLY RECOMMEND SPOOR’S!!!

Our train air conditioner needed to be fixed as well but it is an older unit and the parts are hard to find. The unit is in a tiny space itself but the part that had to be replaced is in a hard to reach place as well so the poor technician was squeezed into this tiny space while working in a really difficult space it was like twice the difficult job then what it would have been. So the company ordered the part and of course the part that goes to our air conditioner is no longer available but the part that they sent the the company thought that was a part for it but it really wasnt an exact match The technician spent hours making that part work somehow he got the unit to work and we really didnt think it was going to be possible but somehow this technician was able to figure out the wiring and he made it work. so we were able to get an old air conditioner fixed when otherwise we were going to have to replace the system but he bought us some more time with the system that we have by being able to make that part work when no one else would have been able to do that it was quite amazing and the tech Johnny he was so nice and he spent hours in the heat fixing this for us and when he could have said no its the wrong part sorry you have to replace it but he didnt he really he tried to make it work and was able to pull it off. When it is time to replace our system so we will be using this company to do that.

Jon, Senior Tech, was sent to us to solve a no cool. He patiently explained his steps and findings, as I looked on, to me. He went out of his way to get us cool, by picking up a part himself instead of us waiting for it to be ordered. Upon further investigation he willingly fixed a problem in the panel caused by another professional ‘s error that caused us the problem to begin with. John arrived on time and quickly troubleshot the AC short cycle issue to a leak in the evaporator coil in my Rheem 3 ton package unit. It’s not an inexpensive fix, but at least the evap coil itself is under warranty.

Jeff and Garrett oversaw a first rate job. The bid for a replacement furnace was competitive, including a couple of options and the job was completed in a timely manner. But hey, thats base-line, right? Turns out the attic entrance was too small to remove the old furnace. Jeffs crew cut it out a bit larger, while Jeff ran out to the hardware store to get some replacement molding for the hole. They did the job, cleaned up the cut-out, put new molding around the attic entrance, it looks better than it did before they showed up! Our new furnace works great, I cant recommend these guys enough.

My AC unit stopped working during the last heat wave. Spoors was very responsive when I called and sent a tech out the very next day. The problem was repaired and my unit was back up and running within 30 minutes.
