I worked with teksystems employed under Verizon, while living in Virginia. I had a good experience. I got paid weekly and on time each time. I liked the company, I don’t really have anything bad to say. My representative Alyssa was very nice and helpful also.
I can only reiterate what others have said. This firm is a waste of your time. Numbers on a dart board is what a candidate is to them. They throw a dart (regardless of your qualifications) and see what sticks. They never understand the position they are attempting to fill for their clients, so it leaves candidates whom are looking for a job at a disadvantage. Another reviewer put it perfectly, Dont waste your time with this agency; make no mistake, you are nothing but a number and a potential dollar to them...nothing more. There are no follow up emails, no communication, no nothing if it presents no value to them.If youre a truly experienced professional looking for new opportunities do not engage TEK Systems. Use your network and try to stay away from recruitment firms if possible.
I always heard about Aerotek that they got lot of clients and always have jobs available so I started looking for jobs at their website. At first I did not know that Teksystems is also Aerotek but for IT jobs. I applied to several jobs at Teksystems website in about one year and never got any answer. Then I called Aerotek one day, they advised to call Teksystems and then Teksystems advised to call Aerotek, then I realized that they are also confused about who is supposed to take care of IT jobs. Then finally I got lucky one day and got connected to one of their recruiting managers who said that about the job I was asking is gone but the next day they are potentially getting a similar role with the same organization and she will get back to me the day after. This all happened in April 2019 and after that day, she never came over the phone and never replied to my emails. I saw the job at their website what she told me about but no one ever contacted me.
