My experience with PV Heating and Air has been great from start to finish. They provided a detailed estimate, careful pre-planning for installation of a new heat pump system, and impeccable installation, all on time and at a competitive rate. I would recommend them without hesitation.

Been using PV for 3 different homes over 6 years. They inspected my new home, said one of the units was close to going but did all they could to save it. After it finally went, they came in the next week with a brand new unit. It is never fun to buy a whole new unit, but offered suggestions, different price points, and took off the amount I paid before to try and save the unit. The people are always professional and polite. I look forward to them to continue monitoring our HVAC.

PV Heating and air responded to our service call within hours in the middle of the summer when our AC unit broke down. They were able to diagnose the problem and provide many solutions for the replacement extremely quickly. I called PV Heating and Air in May of 2019 because my AC was not working. I paid $2,700 based on the recommendation of the consultant who came to my home to fix the problem, not patch or piece together but fix the problem. July of 2021, Nothing was wrong with my AC, PV came to perform routine maintenance and that night the AC just stopped working. Now it is another issue with the same unit that was supposed to have been repaired. How are we here again for the same problem, AC not working after I paid $2,700 to fix the problem.

Our less than one year old home (ranch with basement) had terrible heating and cooling balance making the environment very uncomfortable, especially during the night impacting most of the families ability to sleep well.We originally contracted with PV to evaluate the HVAC to gain an understanding of where the deficiencies were with the original installation. Travis, who is very detail oriented, came out to take airflow, square footage, window sizes and types and other data to run through their calculations. They found that while the system was adequately sized (N tons for N square feet, no other calculations were done originally), the duct work installation was decent and the airflow was ok, the system as a whole was very far from optimal.After consulting with David we contracted for the installation of zoning (3 zones), two larger air filter housings (replacing a single filter housing that was not installed correctly and made the furnace fan work harder than it should), hard trunk lines and return T, a dehumidifier, re-running the line set (it was in the way) and re-working the intake/exhaust (they were not correctly installed originally).Christian, Neal, Dustin and the rest of the crew are absolute craftsmen. Polite, courteous, punctual, knowledgeable, collaborative - these guys are great! All of the work was done during the winter and every day they ensured that the main floor stayed heated as they worked through replacing the duct work. As work progressed they found and addressed issues with the original installation that were sure to cause problems in the future.The main floor is amazingly comfortable through out the day and especially at night allowing us to get good nights rest. The peace of mind we have now with the issues they found being fixed and the functional improvements made is invaluable. I highly recommend PV for all of your HVAC needs.

I live in another state and rent out my Atlanta home to a wonderful tenant. One year on an incredibly hot summer day, the AC went out in the rental and I found PV Heating & Air based on the reviews I read online. They responded immediately and fixed the problem in one visit. Since then, they have professionally and reliably handled all HVAC issues that have come up at my rental house. I can trust that they are doing all necessary repairs and maintenance without overcharging me or inflating what needs to be repaired. They work with my tenant to schedule appointments on her time and work with me afterwards on payments.

Great company and great service. I’ve used PV for 7+ years for my service contract and had them do one repair due to a punctured freon line inside the wall.For the service contract they come out twice a year and service the unit plus change the filters. When they do this they provide a verbal and written update. They never try to upsell services.On the repairs - they came out quickly, were able to locate and repair the hole with minimal damage to the wall. You simply can’t ask for better service.

They installed a new system for the 2nd floor of my house. They are thorough, dependable and very efficient. After the install, they have someone come check everything to be sure it was all done correctly. I called them yesterday because my other unit stopped working. They sent someone out on a Sunday, he fixed the problem, and they DIDN’T charge for the call. PV is the best for quality work and customer relations.

Very pleased with the routine service performed under the maintenance contract. Technicians performed significantly more checks including cleaning and spent way more time than my prior service Company. Glad I switched. Only comment is their charge for Freon per pound struck me as being a little high.

Such an amazing experience with this company! Ive been a PV customer since they were Peavey and cannot say enough great things about their service, professionalism and quality work. I can not say enough good things about PV. But, most notable, is that out of the 3 HVAC companies who came to my home to quote the work, Jason, one of the owners at PV, is the ONLY one who alerted us to the dangerous flue pipe in the crawl space which was pitted and emitting carbon dioxide. We asked them to include the replacement in their bid.As luck would have it, our work was delayed due to the unit being on back order, but they made a special trip to replace the pipe. We were SHOCKED to find out that my husband no longer woke with headaches every morning. In looking for a Mitsubishi split A/C unit, they (Mitsubishi) recommended PV (along with one or two others). PV jumped on the referral and from that moment until the final post-install quality assurance visit (yes, you read that correctly - a separate visit, just to ensure everything was operating to spec and to answer any questions that I had), PV has been one of the most professional service organizations in my memory.Three things really stood out to me about my interactions with PV.1st) I had no less than six different interactions with their team - each one very specific in its intention. (Pre-sales, sales, engineering consult, pre-install evaluation, installation team and finally QA). They advanced this job in an incredibly professional way.2nd) At EVERY step along the way, it was obvious that they were ensuring that the team who showed up NEXT was fully informed about the job. It was clear that everyone on the team recognized their role in the entire end-to-end process.3rd) To a person, to a call, to every question I asked (and I asked a LOT of questions), every single representative was professional, courteous and well-informed. We did a total overhaul of our HVAC system (42+ years), attic air-ducts and insulation, and water heater. The overhaul included removal of old duct, plenum, insulation, complete HVAC unit replacement and new cellulose insulation and new water heater. After review of different suppliers and multiple rounds of discussion we decided for PV Heating and Air.Our decision was not made on cost, we felt comfortable with Jason and his teams level of knowledge and professional methodology to explaining the system and different steps for executing the job. As an engineer myself, I could related to the study perform by PV to size the system and the value of such. The equipment selected (Trane) and the approach to maximizing the efficiency of the new system was first class. We actually ended with a lower tonnage unit than the original GE system (42+ years old)The execution of the job went extremely well, PVs employees were timely, very professional and courteous. It was a pleasure to work with all of them. I would highly recommend PV to anyone considering HVAC replacement and water heater.

This is the second time PVHVAC has come to do diagnostic work on my very old AC compressor, trying to help me eek a few more months of life out of it. The first tech, a few months ago back in April, was extremely thorough and caught many details that had alluded previous inspections (overcharged refrigerant, old capacitor, bend in piping that was affecting the compressor--these were just the most obvious. Another tech from a different company gave the unit a 15 minute look-over and missed most of this. These guys open everything up and take temp, electrical and pressure readings all over the place.).After some cleaning and maintenance, refrigerant recovery, and replacing the capacitor (all for a reasonable fee around $250), the machine worked better than ever and lasted to this point. The tech warned me that the unit was on its last legs and could go at any time; he never pressured me to purchase a new unit but told me I should begin to plan for it.Since about a month ago, the compressor has tripped the circuit breaker a few times, including twice in two days this past week, so I called PVHVAC to come out and take a look. This time a different technician came; he was equally thorough. What was happening was that the refrigerant was not heating sufficiently when it returned to the compressor, so some portion was remaining liquid rather than gas. This meant the compressor was overheating as it had to do more work. iI would pull more amps and eventually trip the breaker. He said it could look like the refrigerant was still overcharged but he didnt think that was actually the problem; he thinks it is the gradual failure of internal valves which regulate the movement of the refrigerant through the system. In other words, its old.He tried cooling down the compressor with a hose, which worked a bit, temporarily, and he explained there are water systems you can purchase to do this automatically. But as we tested this, it did not have fully bring the system to a good point. So there isnt much else to do other than call Mr. Jason Peavey to price a new system :(What I like about working with this company is that in my experience they really fit the description they give on their website of being an ethical business. They are down-to-earth and straightforward. They dont pressure the sale, but give options. Both of the two AC techs have been thorough, professional, courteous and informative. I was happy to pay the $80 diagnostic fee yesterday because I felt I got my moneys worth, really understanding the system better. Id rather pay $80 for a thorough evaluation than have a free diagnosis that doesnt tell me anything (or worse, misinforms me). And this is also why I would go with them for a new system install over another company that might be a bit cheaper, because I am confident they will correctly evaluate the necessary size and do a good installation.We will see - Im still hoping to squeak through this summer on the current system!

The level of sophistication these guys bring to the table is light years past that of the typical Atlanta HVAC company. David Peavey, one of the bosses, appears to provide good, well thought-thru advice and Leo, a tech, got my geothermal HVAC system running better than it ever has.

Ive used PVs services in two different locations over the last 8 or so years. They do excellent work. They are always helpful, happy to explain what is happening with equipment or systems, great at educating so that I can make an informed decision They always give a range of options when Im making a purchase. Its been a little over a year since we had a huge debacle with our house. We had to have mold remediation done and replace a bunch of stuff. During all of that our AC decided to die on us.We contacted about 5 people to come look at our place and give us quotes. Each person quoted something much different. Whether it was a bigger unit, smaller unit, or just massive swings in cost. Most would walk in and throw the numbers out within less than 10mins. Not PV.PV, I believe it was Jason, came in and looked at our system. He really examined how poorly our system was designed and genuinely wanted to improve our efficiency. There was a level of professionalism with them we hadnt seen in any of the others (and we called mostly top rated businesses) The cost was a little more than we were wanting to spend though so we had to talk about it for a couple of days.After talking it over we decided it would make sense to spend a little more to get the best quality work we could get. Since we were having mold remediation done during all of this we needed to have our old system removed before they could do their job. Which meant getting the AC and water heater installed in 2 parts.PV was beyond patient with us throughout this process. They showed up when they said they would, removed the old units, keeping us on schedule for everything else.During this process they also found we had extremely poor ducts...like really bad. We literally had exposed fiberglass throughout our condo. We were already at the top of our budget so this was a kick in the gonads. After seeing it and realizing just how bad it was we decided to get all the ducts in our condo replaced by them. (If we were upstairs and the AC was on it felt like a trickle coming from the vents)PV gave us a portable AC unit while they were in the process of installing everything, extremely thankful. The guys that did the install were very professional and really nice. They worked extremely hard and you could tell they didnt cut corners which we appreciated.All in all I would HIGHLY recommend PV heating and Air if youre looking for a quality system and exceptional service. They will go above and beyond to get your house safe and comfortable. After having them do everything we practically have a waterfall of air at each vent, its wonderful.The only note I have is I found a few energy drink cans lying around in our attic after everything was finished. But if thats the only downside I would gladly take it haha. They definitely have a customer for life.

Ive used many HVAC companies over the years for maintenance and repairs and PV Heating and Air is by far the most professional and pleasant to work with of any to date. They were incredibly helpful throughout a process of deciding whether to repair our Pioneer Minisplit system or replace with a new unit, gave thorough and transparent estimates for both installing a new system and the repair options for the existing system and answered all our questions thoroughly.We ended up going with the repair option and they not only saved us money by find that the expansion valves another company had condemned did not need replaced, but also gave us the discount on labor and parts for member of their annual service plan even though we only signed up for it the same day as the repair.They have my strongest recommendation for HVAC maintenance, repairs and installations, and especially if you have issues with a ductless mini-split system as many companies in the area either dont service them at all or only service the brand they sell and install.

PV Heating and Air did a great job installing a new mini-split for me and removing some old, damaged ductwork. They were so professional, knowledgeable and reasonable that I will be using them for all of my hvac needs. I only wish they did plumbing too!

For all your HVAC needs, the only call you have to make is to PV. I have done business with PV for nearly eight years. They are prompt, professional and very capable. We gutted and rebuilt a high rise condo unit and the original HVAC unit was probably not protected well enough and permanently damaged. In spite of that, PV would not give up on the idea of saving it and tried everything, often not charging us or charging just a nominal amount. During that journey, the owner, David, personally supervised the modifications and was in constant contact with Trane. When we finally opted for a new unit, the installation was flawless and the revelation of efficient heating and air and new wifi connected thermostats was off the charts. Everything was and continues to be seamless. The new Water Furnace performs spectacularly. It is a dream come true to have even heating and air throughout our home. The thermostat was set to automatic almost a year ago and never has had to be changed. Bravo to a team that wouldnt quit and constantly followed up to check if we were satisfied.

PV made a complete system install super easy. All of their techs were professional and safety conscious. No one tried to upsell me on anything. I felt like I got the right system at the right price. Lots of follow up. Highly recommend.

As usual, communications prior to the service call were timely and clear and PV staff showed up when expected.Heron (PV staff who visitedl) was very consuderate and did a great job. We dont wear shoes in our house and always appreciate that PV staff have (and wear) booties over their shoes when working in our house.Very happy with PV.

Eric and Tyler installed our water heater with great care and professionalism. They wore proper PPE, and did a great job!

PV was absolutely wonderful! I had quite a project in a very old condo building. The last people to install our unit did a very poor job. PV came in, diagnosed the problem very quickly.We had more problems than we thought, so they brought us a portable AC unit to use until we were able to figure out the best path forward. To me, that was going above and beyond!Our handler is located in the ceiling, so this was not the easiest job. They had the expertise and tools to get it done within a day. The AC now works wonderfully and is very quiet.They are extremely responsive to all your communications and very professional. Every person that showed up through the process was knowledgeable and very kind.Shout out to Tyler, Eric, and Dustin who installed our air handler. They are rockstars!

Our experience with every single member of the PV operation has been pleasant. We are very pleased with the service and the Trane system that was installed. We talked to someone else before PV, and found their knowledge, professionalism, and terms far exceeded our first quote. Highly recommend!

PV Heating and Air is a quality company that does quality work for a good price. Christian, Eris and Neil worked a 10 hour day in the rain to install a brand new HVAC system for us yesterday. They were very careful, although they carried out the old system and brought in the new, there was not a single scratch on the walls or floors. They were very courteous, on time, explained everything they were doing and cleaned everything up before they left. I just cant rate PV high enough. High quality of work, timely and incredible customer service and Im always confident that they make the right recommendation that protects my property at the lowest cost. Its almost a relief when a problem pops up around the house that PV can solve because I know Im in good hands instead of the grab bag of contractors you can find out there.

Been using them for number of years and have never had an issue. First used them when AC went out while traveling. Were only company I found able to get out same day. Fixed issue quickly and charge was reasonable, which I cannot say for other contractors I have had in for emergency calls. Staff have always been professional. Definitely recommend them.

Our overall experience with PV heating and air was great. From the initial inquiry, to one of the owners coming out to do a consultation, to the front office scheduling everything went smoothly. David was great to deal with. He gave us affordable options on what would help cool certain parts of our home down. He gave us advice on what we could do ourselves. He was very honest and personable. He also answered questions for us after the job was completed. Even came out to make sure some of the concerns we had were taken care of. The installation guys were great. They cleaned up afterwards very well and answered any questions we had. We will definitely continue to use them in the future.

Hired PV Heating and Air to perform the installation of a Dehumidification System for a pool room. The owner and his team are very professional, competent, highly organized, and automated. They are dependable and communicate regularly and often. They are versatile with the solutions they are willing to configure and are experts in their field. David Peavey is the owner and he is deeply immersed in operating his company and keeping projects on track. Besides his operational strengths, David is also very smart, thinks outside of the box, and isnt afraid of new technology. The work was clean and they actually hung the entire unit from the ceiling freeing up tons of storage space underneath.

Extremely pleased with this company. They were knowledgeable and competent. Were able to come out on a Holiday and fix our air. Set us up for a Maintenance program to take care of us in the future. Very pleased with this company.
