I attempted to reach out to this company so someone could come by and look at my AC unit and get a quote. While I am seeing lots of 5 star reviews, my experience with them was really poor. When I first asked them for an estimate of a unit, I received a silly sales pitch and agreed they would give me an estimate based upon a service call. When the tech came out, he was very nice and looked at my unit and was able to tell me what the problem was. When I asked him for a quote, I was once again given a sales pitch with a lot of jargon and I was told that he would have to contact his boss who would call me back. So, when I called to confirm with the company, they still could not give me a straight up answer. Meanwhile the tech told me he was going to make a phone call to his boss but also leave without any other confirmation so I decided not to work with them. I am not interested in doing business with home maintenance with people who are more interested in sales than helping people make good consumer choices.

The overall service experience was excellent.The sales and the service personnel were professional, answered all of our questions and were very well trained.While we are just a few days removed from the installation, we are very satisfied that we chose Cunningham and Associates for the job.Thanks 😊

Jack spent 3 days installing a new HVAC system in our attic, directly above where our twin 1yr old girls slept and napped. He worked around their nap schedule so we could function as struggling twin parents. I still can’t believe he asked when the nap. They also installed a ceiling mount heat and AC unit in a room that has no vents. Game changer!

I have used Cunningham & Associates for years. They have installed HVAC systems, done repairs & maintenance, and most recently replaced an old hot water heater. They are not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. They are always on time, courteous, and knowledgeable. I have a 110 year old house, and doing things here are not always easy. I tried another well-known company just for maintenance, and it was a mess. So back I went to Cunningham. I don’t worry when they are working at my house.

The inspector who inspected our home in preparation for selling, suggested that our furnace filter was filthy, although Cunningham had just replaced it. Despite that, Nick sent Roger out to replace the filter again (it was NOT filthy!) and he also took the time to vacuum out the furnace. No charge, of course, but they were there within an hour of my call and completely helpful as always.

Knowledgeable and good people!I have always felt comfortable with the people they send to service the 4 units in our house,We have been with Cunningham for 7 or 8 years now. When we started with Cunningham, we had some black mold that kept growing around a bathroom vent. CA assessed the situation and came back in a few days to properly insulate some of the ducts around that vent, which took care of that problem. The mold has never returned.A few years ago our water heaters needed replacing. Cunningham recommended and installed two tankless water heaters; exactly what we needed.Solid company with good people. I only have positive things to say about Cunningham Associates!

Hired them to replace my HVAC unit this year. Everyone was very polite and courteous. Bob (the owner, I think??) worked with me to accommodate my schedule and explained his recommendations. So far, havent had any problems with the unit. Would definitely be using them for all my cooling and heating needs.*update on 5.6.18*Changed from 5 to 2 stars. The new AC has not been cooling well. I had a technician come over. He looked over the unit and said that (1) unit has been undercharged and (2) a part needs to be replaced (he said it could have been overlooked during installation). To replace the part, they had to send a different technician. A day later, after unit has been refilled and the part has been replaced, my brand new AC has been working non-stop for 5 hours but the temperature doesnt go below 75.The unit is still under warranty and I might give them another call. But, Im starting to feel like getting a second opinion. Too much time off wasted waiting on different technicians without a resolution.

Cunningham Associates have been great to our family for years! We had to replace an old AC unit shortly after buying our house in Brookhaven and Cunningham Assoc were very helpful with the replacement and continued service. We also had our crawl space flood this past summer and Cunningham Associates went above and beyond to help us since we were out of town on vacation at the time. Still having issues with our system. Cunningham was the most expense quote we got, but Bob said he was the best. They made several attempts to fix it. Example, they put a thermostat directly below a vent, which caused the upstairs to never keep its temperature. I was the one who pointed it out and I have never installed a HVAC system in my life. May too many other options out there to mess with these folks.

We returned home from a trip and our furnace sounded like a jet taking off. Our neighbor recommended Cuninham and boy are we glad he did. A technician came right away snf diagnosed the problem, and then the owner of the company called to offer alternatives for taking care of it. We decided, based on the amount of money it was going to take to fix the furnace and its age, to replace it and our AC with new Lennox units. Bob (the owner) came to our house, discussed various options (he actually talked us out of purchasing a more expensive system saying that based on our usage pattern we really didnt need it; how often does that happen?) and a couple of days later we had a new system up and running. This was an excellent experience from our first phone call through the installation of the new system. I am happy to recommend this company without reservation.

Im a practical kind of guy - I prefer quality/efficient equipment, and service I can trust, without having to sell body parts to pay for it. Consumer reports rates Lennox equipment in the top 4 of all HVAC brands, very good equipment. So since CA installs Lennox, that is one half of the equation out of the way (they service all other brands too, of course, but I have Lennox). My service experience with CA is that they are second to none. Case in point: 1. My first call to them several years ago when my system froze due to a leak and being low on refrigerant; instead of pushing a system replace they fixed the leak and then billed me at a rate lower than I was originally told to expect, 2. When I sent an email on a SUNDAY when I had a system problem and they called within an hour of sending it AND had a Technician on site SAME DAY without any upcharges (normal rates, doesnt matter when, 24x7!), 3. When it finally came time to replace my now 18 year old system (that only made it that long because of CAs care) they promptly replied to my emails, patiently talked with me on the phone at length/never rushed, and finalized the deal ALL IN ONE DAY - ensuring that we had the system we wanted/needed at a generously fair price. No over sell, CA actually showed me how I could get a 16 seer HVAC at a 13/14 seer price point. Also, sidepoint, they discovered on install day that the coil they brought to install would only deliver 15.7 seer efficiency - they had a manager rush out the correct coil that delivers 16 seer - would I have known the difference? Never. They discovered it and correctly it. How many companies would do that?? Look, 95% of the battle in dealing with anything regarding heating & air is simply finding a good company that you can trust, everything else falls into place once you have that. Of course with CA, you not only have a company that you can trust, but that also knows what they are doing, and is mindful of their customer as though they were selling to their own Mother - thats priceless! CA all the way.
