A long weekend with the Mountain Laurel was just what our family needed. The van had everything we needed to keep logistics to a minimum. No need to think about where to plug in or refill water. We were completely self-sufficient for four days and three nights. The van drove incredibly well on the highway and confidently on very steep gravel and dirt. You can read online about the awesome features of this beast of a van but service is what sets Sky Overland apart. After booking I had quite a few questions that Jamie responded to quickly. Im sure this happened over a series of texts and phone calls and he was always happy to respond - welcoming the opportunity to help me get ready for the trip. As the trip approached, I threw an unexpected wrench into things and again, Jamie went out of his way to help me work things out. He again exceeded my expectations with flexibility for pick up. During the trip I reached out for some basic questions and he responded quickly each time. Thanks for the memorable experience.
We rented the 12 passenger Sprinter van to go on a short trip up north and had a great experience. The staff were friendly and available for questions by phone. The van was clean, comfortable, and affordable. Definitely going to rent from them again for our next trip.
From start to finish, super easy rental process. Went over all features of amazing Revel 4x4 and was out of town in no time! Revel is a sweet ride. So well designed, this is one of a kind. Van was loaded, def be sure to have pot/pan that works for stove. Dry camp options are sweet, out-door shower. So many amenities to list. Sky Overland is really a great company. Very personal, super reasonable. Responsive. Easy to work with. Highly Recommend.
Everything went smoothly from beginning to end. Geoffrey and Jamie answered all our questions about the van, and Jamie took time making sure we knew how to work everything when we picked it up. They were also great about flexibility with pick up and drop off times. The Revel van is an awesome vehicle, easy to drive and easy to use. We had everything we needed for a great week of camping. Two suggestions for Geoffrey and Jamie: 1. provide a list of the amenities included (such as dishware, bedding, towels) in advance to renters so that they will know what they do and don’t need to bring, and 2. Leave a sheet in the van with brief descriptions of how to read the systems control panels and the correct settings for various functions (such as heating water, saving battery life, reading battery power, etc.). We didn’t have any problems, but the house battery fluctuations were a concerning mystery to us and we didn’t know how to interpret the voltage readings or panel codes.
