BEWARE! To rent bikes at this Bike Barn & ride through the Biltmore Estate, you MUST first purchase Biltmore tickets @ $60/adult!! Yes, before you rent bikes you pay $60/adult to simply enter. This was never mentioned when we called twice about renting bikes. This should have been brought to our attention when calling.Very pricey for a bike ride.
Went for electronic bikes as their website advertises them. Got there and they only have 1 electronic bike actually working, the other 4 are in the shop. So even if they had all 5 working, the chances of you getting one are slim. They had a handful of regular bikes left.
Beautiful trails around the estate both paved and unpaved. Take your time and enjoy parts of the estate few travel!
One of our favorite activities at the Biltmore Estate. We opted for the mountain bikes and rode everything from the paved roads to the single track trails, eventually ending up at the Biltmore House for a well deserved drink and sampling of chocolates from the candy store next the House. Bikes were well maintained, reasonably priced ($30 for 4 hours), and the staff was helpful and friendly.
