Ive worked out at about 3 or 4 different locations. I noticed a couple of pieces of equipment that needed fixing or replacing, but they have so much great workout equipment. It looks intimidating when you first walk in however most of the equipment has a sign telling you how to use them properly and they have great staff to guide you through if you have questions. And they have a sauna. They also are very affordable.

Absolutely amazing gym. Fitness connection has everything a gym needs to have. Ill highly recommend this Fitness Club to anyone.

Down fall is that I signed up when it was a 24/7 and now the hours are very inconvenient hours on the weekends, no it is not due to covid because covid does not function on the time of the day or day of the week.Gym weekend hours,Friday closes at 8pm, Saturdays 7pm and 6pm on Sunday, very inconvenient.

Good affordable gym, amazing staff, good maintenance on equipment, they could improve bathrooms cleanliness tho. I absolutely love the sauna. For those who don’t know if you do a membership for the first time they even give you a free (I think ) 60m trainer session (Don’t quote me on that) to give you a whole guide on what you want. I did have a bad experience with a personal trainer ghosting me.. I don’t want to blame them because she just joined the gym... and they are somewhat short on staff... I’m hoping I won’t have issues if I do ask for a refund or some sort of compensation. I will do update on if they helpme appropriately.I forgot to update! I did get a full refund. Another manager was very kind and regretful of my experience. So much to the point he offer me a complementary session with him. His name is Cody!

Third best gym only behind their own gyms in Grand Prairie, and Forest Hill.

11am on a Tuesday, no trainers on site. Just looking for a simple service apparently only trainers can provide which is fine. The trainers are the most caring anyways, management not so much!

Im a member and called up the place and inquired about their guest policy. Was told they needed just their ID and to sign a waiver. Sweet, I thought. Told my friend to drive up there and come inside with me. They didnt let her be my guest because she was a previously a member (mind you, the last time she was a member was a year and a half ago). Was this not information that should be on their site? And why was my friends information still in their systems more than a year after quitting? Thats already a privacy concern. Gonna cancel membership soon after I saw how I could continue coming as a guest to Colaw Fitness across the street despite being a former member. Like maybe there is a reason half of their customers (including my friends) switched... Just saying

This is a really good gym but it used to be 24 hours and my work schedule makes it impossible for me to have decent time at the gym. I understand that covid happened and that most gyms did the same but Im cancelling until they open back up for all day.

Staff always are so nice and helpfully people. On weekdays its getting busy, weekends are so more quite before 7 am, always clean.Affordable prices monthly plans from $10 and $20 plus taxesI will come to to do your workout on weekdays keep on mind Cooper streets had a little bit traffic jam also means. You take more time to come in and goes out.I love this gym

Told that free trial passes require signup “24 hours in advance.” A previous week, one of my friends was able to sign up on the spot and walk in. Ruined a visit the gym with my friend. I had to go somewhere else. Which ever policy is true, at least enforce it consistently.

It was nearly impossible to cancel membership, even if you got placed on military orders they still required a certified letter of cancellation. Also they force you to pay for another month of membership once youve cancelled. I will not recommend this gym to anyone ever in my life ever. Due to our policy more like due to their ability to scam their customers. Literal thieves

Older, more worn out fitness connection without a womens area but thats okay, the plethora of machine equipment allows me to hide from everyone. Theres the limited amount of back row areas per usual (prob 3-6? available). Theres a long section of benches, leg press machines, and seats for barbell workouts. Theres a section of aerobic machines including ellipticals, treadmills, and stair masters. Theres a basketball court off to the side. Many UTA students frequent this gym just because its close but during my time there, I would mostly see people of all ages and backgrounds.

I’m seriously thinking about canceling this membership it’s a good gym great equipment but pe there’s no policies that I see where request for people to re-rack their weights there’s a bunch of kids trying to be personal trainers hogging up machines two or three at a time where you can’t even use them it’s ridiculous they don’t have any type of structure or rules there.

I’m thinking about getting a membership anybody recommend what I should and shouldn’t do? Currently work out 3 to 4 times a week

This place is still not 24 hours. you are charging the same rate with less hours. this is a scam. gym accesories are falling apart as well. whats the point of paying an annual fee for which i see no results. i want to be refunded for lost hours and be prorated or i will leave.

Very convenient. Located walking distance from my house. Gym is spacious with a large basketball courts. Little to complain about including the membership price👍🏿

This is a great GYM but you have to open back up on Sunday and 24 hours. The availability to come work out is what made you great.

I loved this gym. It was my go-to both back at home and in Arlington (university student). The price was perfect and the range in different workout equipment was huge, although, this gym does not honor their own policies. I tried to bring my brother as a guest. According to your policy, members are allowed to bring a guest for free as long as it is not the same person within 4 months. We went to this location in Arlington. My brother had never been to any Fitness Connection gyms before and I wanted to see if he liked it. The plan was that if he enjoyed the gym, then he’d get a membership as well. At first, someone attended us nicely and when I told him my brother was my guest, he provided me a waiver to sign. Before my brother had the chance to sign, another coworker stopped him and she told us that there was a $15 one-day workout fee. I looked up the gym’s policy online and it clearly states: “A member may bring a guest with them every day. The same guest may only come once every four months”. She did not know what to say, so she called her manager. I showed her the policy listed under the Fitness Connection website and she said she understood, although, insisted that there was a $15 one-day workout fee. I got tired of arguing with her, so we left and I decided to end my membership.

They got a nice collection of gym equipment and a basketball court where I go practice my airballs lol. Overall good price for what you get.

I was in today in the afternoon, and as soon I walked in I was greeted right away. I’m new to the gym but had been thinking about checking it out, and I was definitely satisfied with sam. I had so many questions and concerns and he met every single one.The tour was great and explained each machine I was drawn to. After speaking with him signing up was a easy decision to make! Felt good to get back in the groove of things; only flaw with these guys is that they walk a fine line between follow ups and harrassment. Calls every other day and emails to join became a bit too much; I still get them as a member.

Trying to cancel my membership. I’ve gotten to be the 2nd caller in line and my call was dropped not once, twice, but three times.... about to just call the bank and tell them it’s a fraudulent charge. Seems like it would be easier since my bank has excellent service. Currently caller number 40.

Customer cheating my son when sign up member... now they charger more like when they told my son open account with them...

Great place to work out clean and not over crowded

The low monthly fee including childcare brings in a ton of members to this location. If you are someone with a regular 9-5 who tries to stick to a weekday routine, expect the equipment to be unavailable before and after business hours.There is a 30 day written cancellation practice but if they dont process your cancellation, no actions will be taken unless you have certified proof. If you need anything regarding customer service, there is no email address available to HQ or locally and good luck getting anyone on the phone at either location.This organization clearly prioritizes maximizing margins over a quality fitness experience. With a low monthly fee and very poor internal communication structure, its a total bait and trap.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in October. I called the gym to cancel my membership while I go through treatment because I will be unable to attend due to COVID and my immune system being compromised while in treatment. I was told that my membership would be authorized to be cancelled by phone since I am unable to physically come in to cancel. My account was still charged this month. I called and spoke to a member yesterday and was informed that they would make sure that my account is cancelled and I will not be changed anymore, but this should have happened when I called last month. I asked them to refund the charge and was told that they could not do it at store level and that I would have to call customer service. I called customer service twice but was number 94 and 95 in the queue. Obviously your work from home team members are not working from home because that is absolutely RIDICULOUS!. I called this morning at 8:00am and only got through because I called at the moment the lines open only to be told that they would not refund it because it had not been 30 days which it has been and then he hung up on me( I heard dogs barking in the background and he sounded like he was still in bed sleep). I will get the money back because I will dispute it with my bank, but its really sad that this company will not do the right thing especially with a customer who has been loyal for over 3 years but has a very serious medical diagnosis that will not let me attend due to compromising my immune system. I will not be returning. My daughter and the five people that I referred will be cancelling as well due to this horrible customer service experience.

Ever since the reopening with covid19 they’re very aware of the members and staff safety. They check temperature at the entrance and scanning our own badge at the desk. Not to mention, Customer service! You haven’t met customer service until you get to sign up with Tina, one of their front desk staffs who is basically a ray of sunshine, she’s always cheerful and bubbly greeting us in, and can put anyone in a better mood than when they arrive.

I only have two complaints. First one would be the broken equipment. It kinda takes a while for equipment to be repaired. Also the forcing of wearing a face mask while working out is not something Im in favor of. Its ahealth risk, high tempo cardio with a mask obstructing your air flow, who saw the genius in that?But on the upper note the facility is clean and the staff is amazing. Repair equipment sooner and lose the mask and this will again be a 5 star facility. P.s. Please do not allow men to wear shorts above their knees or tights. Save it for your woman fellas.

Dropped in twice while on a business trip and had great experiences. The coaches were helpful and supportive. The gym was spacious. The programming was solid.

It is impossible to cancel the member ship, I used this gym while living in Arlington, I moved to Arizona 3 years ago, sent a letter of cancelation in November 2018, bad on me I assumed they would cancel it and throw the tacking information away. Again November 2020 I send another letter, I have the tracking confirmation delivered Nov/16 they say it is one month to process, but 4 months later I just got my March monthly charge… how many letters are needed??

I have the best time doing zumba class great instructors and great customer service in front.

The staff is very friendly and helpful when it comes to understanding the new regulations and procedures here! Instead of worrying about COVID-19 and being out in public, the cleanliness and constant employee support helps me stay focused on doing my thing and just exercising. I especially appreciate Tina at the front desk — her positive attitude and charisma is just what everyone needs to start/have a great gym session!

Havent worked out in a yr due to being pregnant and complications. Today was going to be my first workout since before. I got there at 5:20am and gym is still closed. Per the app they are suppose to be open at 5am! I understand people sleep in qe are all human however.. there is no reason there is not 2 people to open the gym on time. There were about 15-20 people waiting to get in the gym. I am thinking about changing my membership somewhere else.

I mean, for 10 bucks a month youre getting more equipment than at Planet Fitness, and a super competitive for no reason basketball court. Staff on membership initiation push supplements super hard, which is eh. Okay but not great

Forcing the face mask makes sense to me, it’s hard but I definitely understand, you need a structured mask like KF94 style to work out in. The forcing of GLOVES however is insane. Gloved give a false sense of security; just like medical professionals, if you use gloves you’re SUPPOSED to dispose of them when you change surfaces! You are literally safer using hand sanitizer between each weight/machine than a pair of gloves (disposable or not) because you can’t clean the gloves and whatever germs you had on them you’re spreading it! My mind is blown at this.They have nice people but man that post COVID rule has me walking away.

I had an appointment with Brianna and I was not told that I have to sign up upfront on the phone during my 5 days of free trial. The guy with beard told me that I cannot meet Brianna for the session until I signup. Please be clear with the message you pass to the people. Never coming to this place again.

The new staff is friendly and helpful. Tina always has a smile..well, I cant see her smile because of the mask, but she is always cheerful!The one thing I wish for is for people to put their weights away, and for people to stop using benches for a place mat for their phone or bottle of water when they are NOT using the bench for an exercise.

I love this Fitness Connection, The staff is always friendly and helpful. Since the reopening with the covid19 pandemic they have been very aware of the members and staff safety. The worst experience from customer service. To class selection, the equipment. Personal training service. I was not satisfied with any of it....the staff at front desk ehen you check in were young and unprofessional. Not worth the money or time.

I have had a membership at this location in Arlington over 8 years! I love the affordability and the flexibility this gym offers. They even have a daycare that you don’t have to pay extra for. It’s only $10.75 a month so even when I don’t use it I don’t feel guilty. They are 24/7 which is another big plus.

The elliptical machines are great! The gym is packed at times due to people getting their exercise on but the staff is friendly, which is a plus. Late nights and early mornings are the best time to hit the gym if you want to be able to get on all ur machines.

Been coming here for 4 years. I like the staff. Can’t wait for the Grand Prairie location to open. For the price it can’t get better, but the WiFi could work better and some of the equipment needs maintenance. Overall a good place to workout.

They have super friendly staff. Love their kids club, Chelsea, Kristy and Alice are wonderful with my baby Rosie. Love that this place has lots of equipment for a $10 a month.

Since their reopen with the pandemic still at large, the staff have taken all the necessary precautions to keep members as well as themselves safe. One of the employees there, Tina, is always so kind and willing to help in any way she can!

The best fitness connection in the dfw.

This location had been so good to me for the last 6 years and also especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. I was worried about my monthly bill so I went in one day about a month ago and the front desk staff were so helpful with me upgrading my membership. They asked questions to know me and my account better. I was not rushed by anyone and I really appreciate that. Especially Danielle at the front desk, she’s is such a joy and you can’t go wrong with asking for her for help! Also, Ataleo the club manager, runs and operates the gym with such an ease and great direction to where he makes the members feel that they made the right choice in picking Fitness Connection Arlington as their gym. I’m glad he’s back and please keep him there!

Love your gym especially the womens only area, ⭐️employees are cool and accommodating, (hey ataleo)big request to please extend the hours back to 24 hours. As school is out and I am a single mother to three kids, I used to work out at night when I put the kids to bed and now I cannot go at all since the kids club is closed. Please, please consider my request so I can come work out again. Haven’t been able to gym since March when the shut down started!

They are on top of it, especially during this pandemic! The team members Clean and sanitize everything ! They also walk around making sure nobodies mask comes down. They also temp check at the entrance and implemented social distancing by blocking off every other equipment!! Love this gym and will always continue to come back!!

So, I am not normally one to blast a business through reviews, but I felt this needs to be addressed. My wife and I made the decision to switch to Colaw Fitness, and went in to cancel her account. Great, we were told its done...Everything seemed to be fine until today she gets a past due text and called in about it. Apparently the account stays active 30 days after you supposedly cancel? Why were we not informed of this? The only step they took to help fix things was to waive the late charge which is nice and all, but we wont be paying any final charges and we never will be using fitness connection again. The gym itself is nice, and the pricing is great...but we would rather go next door to Colaw Fitness for better customer service at a better price. Very disappointing interaction with fitness connection.

No point of the significantly reduced hours & full closure on Sundays.. other gyms in the area are open 24 hours or most of the day.. theyre using the Coronavirus as an excuse to reduce hours/close on Sundays to save on what they would be paying overnight staff ( I drive by at night & no one is sanitizing the gym, not sure why they even close).. not to mention members are now forced to be packed during the day since the gym closes at night.. will be recommending other gyms like 24 hour fitness just across from there & planet fitness that opens 24 hrs & yet maintains great sanitization.

Low price, affordable, staff is informed the annual fee and 30 days cancellation policy at time of enrollment, small place lot of equipment for work out, no pool, steam room. TV channels is limited for ESPN only should have CNN and local channels for regular football and baskets ball games. Restroom smell needs better fan for air circulation . Over all very satisfied with this gym in Arlington.

Have been going to this gym for a while even though I live in Grand Prairie and the closest gym to me is Planet Fitness. It’s worth the drive and Planet Fitness just doesn’t compare.

Quality for the cost, always open stay clean during covid, been a member for over a year and just added my son and when it was open my daughter loved kids club!

All of the staff is always friendly, and helpful. They actually follow covid-19 protocol.Makes workouts feel a lot safer.

Plenty of equipment to get a good workout in. However, dumbbells and plates are ALWAYS scattered across the gym. If looking for lighter weights, good luck.
