I have just move in...about a week! but want to share that thru out the process of getting approved and taking care of the paper work, it was a breeze! Thank you to Ms. Cristal and Ms. Andrea! theyre amazing with getting it all done in a timely manner. The maintenance crew has done a great job and I am very happy with their quick response and repairs. I look forward to living here as the place looks and feels welcoming. Thank you Villa.

After all the major issues with no power, no water. The staff in the office the maintenance crew have been so freaking awesome. Always keeping us updated with what was going on. I love that I feel so safe in the complex. Everyone is always watching out for others helping each other out. GREAT PLACE to live

I’ve been living in this complex since May & I absolutely love it here. I’ve never had an issue and the apartment staff is so helpful and very considerate of its tenants. I definitely recommend checking this place out. Ask for Ashley at the front she’ll help you out & make you feel right at home.

We have been here a little more than a month. Ashley. Megan, Jennifer, and Jeremy have been wonderful to work with. Our apartment was just renovated and it is beautiful. The campus has an open feeling with no sense of crowding. We feel there is good value for the price. We would recommend this community to a friend.It is quiet and secure. The gates add to that feeling. Maintenance? We mentioned that my wife had a problem accessing the bathtub. Not a complaint, just a comment in passing. Within 10 min. Jeremy was at the door with a grab handle.Community feel includes things like a chili cook-off, Halloween for the kids, etc.We looked at these apartments more than a year before we moved in. When we returned a year later Ashley recognized us. What a memory.

From management down to the staff, Villa Del Mar is well ran. The staff is friendly and prompt to the needs of residents and future residents. The property is kept clean and inviting. Jeremy is always prompt to complete work orders in a fast and efficient manner.

Moved in a few weeks ago to a 1 BHK and really liking the place. The staff is always friendly and helpful and, most importantly, available to do anything and handle requests. The area is nice with lots of stores, restaurants, and businesses in a few mile radius. The peace of mind is there with this apartment complex. The pricing is comparatively fair, but it would be nice if water or something were included.

First off, the office staff at this property are the best Ive run into. Very friendly and helpful. Great people. I cant say enough good about how they run the office, which is a nice part of the property with common areas and well maintained pools.The buildings themselves are getting a little crusty. Built in the 70s or 80s. Grounds are well maintained and the property is secure. Good location for convenience. Walking distance to lots of shopping, restaurants. etc.The only suggestion I have is to read fine print on the contracts, and there is a flurry of paperwork to get into an apartment here. As with any company thats set up by Jews to milk poor people out of their money, it wouldnt be a bad idea to have an expert look over the contract. Im not trying to disparage the management company, or Jews (I am one, so I know). But youll want to read everything twice and just know that no matter how nice everyone seems, theyre here for your money so do your due diligence to make sure youre holding onto as much of it as you can.

This complex has the best staff! I love living here. Andrea and Ashley are always making sure that everything is taken care of. Work orders are done the same day and the maintenance staff is awesome. Jeremy does a really good job! Thank you for making my stay here really feel like home.

Ive just recently begin looking at apartments again. I have been going through numerous reviews of various properties. I like this property its convenient to my job but after reading they bullied and stole from tenant. I would not move here no matter how convenient it is for me..

While no raise in rent Which is great during covid. The reason for 3, while mediocre, the 3 was given because the community always has water shut off at least once a month. Here’s a snapshot at 2020 we aren’t even counting 2019. Jan-1 time feb - 2 times, April- 2 times, may -1 time, june - 2 times, July -1 time, August - so far 2 times. However brief they may be, it’s still shut off. Other than that it’s alright. 👍

I have been looking to move into the Arlington area within the next month due to job relocation.These apartments i been eyeing for some time now. Recently i ran into some tenants at a gas station on the corner from the apartments, who said it aint all what it appears to be. They complained of loud noises from neighbors and rude office staff members.Then i read a review a few weeks or so ago that stated the office stole a couple of packages from a resident. And right around the holidays too. I have children. Not cool. So no thanks for me. There may be some hidden agendas there.I seen another set of apartments in that area i think Ill go there.

The Leasing agents and Maintenance Team are absolutely wonderful. They address all needs in a timely manner and do everything they can to make life as comfortable as possible through the process. Everyone is kind and friendly and really care about the service they provide. I love all the extra activities the community host as well for their residents. Villa Del Mar is a place you can feel welcome and at home.

This has been the best experience Ive had been in a rental. The office staff are awesome and really care about their tenants. Andrea and Ashley are always on top of things. They really enjoy their job! The maintenance guys are always quick to respond to any issue that arises and you always see them around maintaining the grounds. This really is a great place to live!

Leaving at Villa Del Mar Apartments has been a pleasant experience. The management is friendly, I always get my packages, and have never had a disturbance of any kind. Highly recommend !

I inquired about these apartments over a month ago, as online stated there were vacancies .I was interested in starting the process .I was advised by someone in leasing, that she would reach out to me in a few days when she was back in the office in a few days, never heard back,guess that was a sign,not a good first impression

I have friends thats moving to area and was going to recommend these apartments but when I ran across someone that stayed there they let me know all the trouble theyve been having with managment of the complex.. from stealing to lying.... I dont want my friends first experience here in TX to be bad so Ill keep looking

Just moved in a month ago and I’m very happy here the office staff very helpful and friendly, specially Andrea. best apartments yet!! I would highly recommend to move here very peaceful and quiet near all mayor shopping and dining stores. Very high maintenance apartments they fix things right away if not early the next day!!!

The maintenance crew at this complex is incredible. There have been 2 times that I required service and each time the maintenance team showed up promptly and resolved the issues. Its great to be able to call and get this type of service every time ... keep up the great work guys.

Very Safe area for parents sending your children to live in Tx alone for the first time . The staff is pretty cool and Ashley Let me be honest with you she is the most comforting, respectful, and down to earth person you will meet. Management is okay as well and I know because I am very demanding . I literally call them all the time with any complaints and its handled .. If you are new to Texas and just starting off this is the place to be . They are the most accommodating place I have lived at . I had few hiccups with the covid19/2020 going on and they were so nice to me about everything . I plan to stay here for at least the next 2-3 years . No drug addicts or smokers really, but make sure you stay on the 3rd floor or the bottom floor, because the 2nd is a bit noisy and the walls are paper thin . Literally any arguing or fighting or kids this probably isnt the right place . But overall its great place for single and new couples or an elderly couple.

Retired from military and lived in many apartment complexes. This is the best!!! Staff, maintenance, environment, all excellent. Everyone is super friendly and work to address any issues that may come up.

Just a few words on the staff at Villa del Mar, Jeremy, one of the maintenance employees, has always taken care of any problem weve had almost immediately in a professional manner. Leak faucets, lights not working were always handled and completed by the time we came home from work. Another individual that is often overlooked, is Raymond, the grounds maintenance worker, you always see him out making sure all the grounds are cleaned up, and ensures a cleanliness to the property. These 2 individuals I know personally, being a current resident for 5 years and can ensure integrity of these 2 as well as the rest of the staff.

Been here 2 years the staff is very friendly, maintenance work is always done in a timely Fashion, it’s a quiet complex, and very pet friendly. I would definitely recommend Villa Del Mar.

I am looking to relocate to the Arlington area and the office staff there were very nasty and short with there responses on the phone. I wanted to make an appointment to do a walk through and they would not even allow me to tour. Unprofessional and from the reviews not a place I would want to relocate too.

Worse place ever. Neighbors smoking weed smell filling our apartment we can’t even turn the AC on it makes it worse. We have complained many times. Management won’t do anything about it. A community full of drug addicts.

Not very happy living here. I am eager to move once I find something better.Water is shut off multiple times a week to “fix a pipe”. Unfortunately, whoever comes to fix it isn’t doing it right because this happens multiple times.UPDATE: I was informed that it was different areas that the pipe broke, and due to the building being built in the 80s, it would happen and continue to happen, but they do the best they can.They offer no credit or anything for cutting off hot water tenants pay to have and use. I say this is an issue because some people work odd hours and a shower is nice after a long shift.Plugs are bad in the apartment, usually only one will work on the two plug outlets. UPDATE: I was informed to schedule something with the maintenance.Water pressure for hot hater is below expectation. You’ll have to turn the knobs every which way before the hot water trickles out. The cold water will come out fast. UPDATE: I have been advised this is something that is fixable.Power goes out over the summer seasons leaving you with no ac/ no fan.The gate is broken half the time and they do nothing to enforce or penalize people who drive in the exit gate. Currently, it is working, but be careful with people leaving out of the entrance.The dog park is more like a mud pit, it’s not something I’d recommend if you have a dog. UPDATE: I was informed the landscape comes to work on the lawn, and I guess due to the rain it is acceptable. Hopefully in the spring, there will be more grass.The good thing is, is that it’s close to Kroger or Walmart for grocery shopping.My review will be updated when the main issues are fixed.

Although I had to temporarily reside in the complex the staff there were very patient and flexible with my ever changing needs/ requests. At the end when I needed to leave the complex the team especially Anitra worked very hard to make the transition easy and comfortable. For them I am ever so grateful and feel blessed beyond measure.

To be completely honest i had a very good time staying here i moved out earlier this year. No loud neighbors, Gated community, very good maintenance staff always on time. Very clean and well kept complex. My only problem is that i feel these apartments are way overpriced for location and age. For what you will be paying to live here is about the same price as a rental house or town home or you could live somewhere like uptown dallas. If this complex was more reasonably priced & had better renewal rates they wouldve been perfect.

Ive been living in this community going on 3 years, and i never been so pleased.Not only do they have an amazing staff they are so professional, they individually have their own uniqueness.They plan activities for their community so we can meet our neighbors and make friends, very family oriented.My most favorite is movies at the pool durning the summer.The staff are loving and compassionate if any situation arises that we face in lifes downfall they are very understanding.Maintence crew are amazing i never have to wait and always on time.I love living here cause ive never had a problem, no one bothers me, being single i like quietness and peacefullness, i feel like i live alone in this whole building! Lol! Most if all i love the location of convenience, restuarants grocery stores, dry cleaner,Ups Mail,my bank across the street, my church, shopping,everything in walking distance, what else could i ask for?I reccommend Villa de Mar Apartments 100% to all my family and friends, co workers, my brothers and sisters in church.Thank you Villa De Mar . Nice apartments, way too high for a 1 bed room apartment. They are always working on the hot water boiler making it difficult for tenants to do anything. They are going up on prices. I would not waste my time staying here.

Tenant from 2014-2016, 1 bed/1 bath, 625 sq ft.4-5 star location for the majority of my time there. But within my last 6 or so months, it seemed like the water was being shut off 2-3 times a week. The locks to the fitness center were changed without any real notification. As I looked to still renew my lease, the rates were up to almost $900! This is Arlington, TX. Not Dallas. They slapped some paint here and there and thought thatd justify the price hike. Worst of all, once I moved out, I was billed for $215; about $180 of it in carpet damage. I lived alone, with no pets, rarely any guests, and was rarely home other than to shower and sleep, because of my work schedule. I still have yet to be provided with evidence of damages, though Ive begun paying my final account statement to avoid it being sent to Collections.Nice place, nice area, nice staff. Just dont get screwed over.

Just moved in yesterday and the staff made it a smooth and easy processs. Extremely friendly people and the maintenance people went out of their way to make sure my apartment was ready on time.

The staff is always looking after the residents. Maintenance comes same or next day to fix issues. Very prompt service.

I lived here for 3 years and loved it! The staff is professionally and friendly. Maintenance is fast, effective, and helpful. The community is active, welcoming, and quiet. There are plenty of community activities, events, and perks. VDM is located about 5 minutes from I-20, 10 minutes from the highlands, and 20 minutes from the stadium. There is plenty to do within walking distance and it is surrounded by parks/recreation on top of all the shopping and dining.The apartments are spacious, updated, and well maintained. They have several floorplans and price points to choose from. They use Orkin for pest control, but aside from a few weevils Ive never had a problem.The 3 years that I lived on this property were easy and fun. I was sad to leave such an awesome community. If you are looking for more than a place to lay your head, look no further.

Mixed reviews but to many complaints of not having hot water. But what really turned me off was reading the lack of respect shown from office personal and quoted a higher price from what is being offered.

I cant post a review with no stars, though I would if I could. When we moved in, the company that staffed the the apartments was great and the staff themselves were tremendous. Sadly, towards the end of our first year, management changed and with it so did the criteria for new residents. The apartment maintenance staff is also unresponsive because of their staffing issue that popped up after they laid a majority of their staff off. The new office staff now does less than the bare minimum despite some of them living on the property including not following through with reported problems, next to no notice when water will be off for maintenance, and no notice for anything else. When I called concerned with mold the staff did nothing except send a desk attendant to look at our wall and sniff the air after numerous calls placed over a month. Then they showed up unannounced and with no notice months after that while my fiance was toweling off after showering. They also try to barge in when nobody answers a few seconds after they knock which poses a security threat when they gain entry to your home without knowledge or consent, and with castle laws in Texas an incident will be soon to come. Lastly the office staff attitude is worse now than it ever was toward non-staff residents. When my lease ends in August Ill be leaving rooster tails as I tear out of this place, never to look back.

Well my time at this apartment is coming to an end and I have to say that it was not that bad! Not great but not that bad either! I moved here from out of town so I shopped by phone! They accommodated me with tours over the phone with FaceTime etc! The office staff is great great great! Especially Andrea!!!!!! Love her and wish I could take her to my new apartment! I had issues with my apartment which was not the fault of the staff.. example the people above me moved out and left their washing machine water running and wet up my apartment! The 24 hour staff took care of it because it was late at night! I work late hours and wasnt able to pick up a package they placed it in my apartment! The area is great for a person that doesnt want to venture far from home! Everything is right here! The reason for the 3 stars is structural for me! The air conditioner is outside my window the basketball court is out side my window and the pet park is too! lol its just too much! lol I actually thought about staying but I found something closer to my job. Villa Del Mar was a great start for me!!!! I loved how I was able to transition to Texas! Ill miss the staff and the maintenance! The young community ...hmmm.,, not so much!

Decent apartments, WAY OVERPRICED!!! And they even want to jack up the rates after being a loyal and cooperative tenant.

First walked in and lady that came out was not friendly at all, didnt speak nor smile. Just stood there and looked at me. I then asked why the apartments staff so unfriendly she never replied. I then asked on 2bed & pricing. She quoted me $1610. I asked why is it overpriced then the others, she said because only a few left. I checked online priced at $1350-1375. I called and was told the same $1350 ish price. Even another complex said none are that high in that area. She pulled it up and what do you know.... $1350-1375. I will be filling a legal complaint.⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️❌❌❌❌⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️UPDATE, today is 11/30/2017 i emailed as requested and still have not been contacted. Theses reply messages is all a stunt! They could care less. Ill contact FHA & carry on with the suit.

Grateful to have chosen Villa Del Mar as my new home, it is a respectable community with outstanding administrative personnel that are very professional and genuinely helpful. Ashley and Andrea have both gone out of their way to help with my questions & actually the other office staff associates have also gone above and beyond as well from package delivery to portal data information. Truly one of the best decisions I could have made by making VDM my new home, and I researched ALL neighboring communities for almost a full year because going from a house to an apartment can be a hard transition however my transition has been nothing but positive & I am so glad to have finally chosen the best property, The administrative staff has exceeded my expectations which in my case is nearly impossible to do, the community is maintained very well, I have zero noise concerns even though I chose the second floor, the balconys are private with plenty of room for a full set of patio furniture, I have only had a need for maintenance a couple of times but both questions were addressed and resolved within moments, literally. Very well lit at night, the security gates always work which imo is a rare find, the maintenance staff goes by every hour or so it seems but certainly they are ensuring all is safe and everything is as it should be. VDM is a great community filled with other respectful and helpful persons. My hope is this review will help future occupants pick the best property which in my opinion is by far Villa Del Mar.
