I just moved into Parc Rosslyn and so far my experience has been amazing! Due to complications with a different apartment complex, I needed to find an apartment to move in same day. Shirley and Ronisha were extremely accommodating. They worked hard to make sure I had an apartment to move into all while being kind and patient with me. I could not be more happy with the service I experienced.Additionally, my apartment is perfect. There is no where else in Rosslyn you can get this bang for your buck. The units are huge and the floor to ceiling windows highlight the views of the city.I am so excited to join the Parc Rosslyn community!
I just moved into Parc Rosslyn this past week, and so far it has surpassed all expectations I had in an apartment. Shirley at the front desk was incredibly helpful and accommodating, and readily answered any questions I had regarding the move in process. I had to purchase a lot of new furniture and she was great about letting us use the loading dock and getting everything in with little notice.Since I moved in, I have not heard anything from neighbors outside of a little bit of noise in the hall. The soundproofing on the rooms has been great. On top of that, my apartment seemed very well taken care of and was clean upon arrival. The view from the windows is great, and the appliances provided in the kitchen are much better than my last apartment (the dishwasher actually cleans the dishes)! I am definitely looking forward to living here, and hope the next year is as great as the past week has been.
I recently finished moving in to Parc Rosslyn and couldnt be happier with my new place and the experience getting here. Ive lived in the Arlington area for 3 years and my only regret is not moving in here sooner! The apartment is shockingly affordable for what you can find in the area, especially for the size and quality of the apartment. Ed from the leasing office was extremely helpful, responsive, and kind in helping me out (very last minute) and in helping to expedite the whole process of getting leased and moved in. He was very straightforward about costs and fees, as well as encouraging and open to any questions I had. Shirley and everybody Ive met at the front desk is amazing - she has seen me twice and already knows my name (besides also just being an absolute delight). I dont know if its just my lowered standards in treatment from my previous apartment but these guys are very friendly and really set the bar high.Area is beautiful, theres a cute park across the street and both Courthouse and Rosslyn metros are about a 10-15 min walk. Tons of great food in the area, Safeway and mini Target a super short walk away. Parking is awesome - my old apartment garage was an accident waiting to happen (very weirdly shaped and hard to not scratch your car on the many close columns lol) but Parcs is a more standard and spacious underground lot. Some visitor parking available but also plenty of street parking in the area (free on weekends!).Apartment itself has been pretty quiet - the loudest noises I have are my cat trying to get used to the new place (pet friendly!). It was super clean when I moved in and has awesome appliances/ personal HVAC and a new washer/dryer unit inside. Not to mention an AMAZING view! Cant speak much to amenities since I havent used them yet, but they are larger than my old apartment and things are opening up via reservation. I know I havent been here long but its definitely an improvement upon my old apartment (which cost me more for basically half the space). Would definitely recommend checking them out!
I’m using an alias name because I don’t like having my name out there online. ANYWAY, I want to give a comprehensive review of the building:Pros- Great views. From my apartment, I had a clear view of the washington monument and the mall. It was really beautiful- Really nice/helpful staff. Every interaction I’ve had with the leasing office, front desk people, or maintenance staff has been neutral to pleasant.- Good location. You’re about a 10-15 minute walk away from the Rosslyn or Courthouse metro in either direction, but inbetween the distance to the metros are a lot of places to eat, Safeway grocery store, Target, post office, Ace Hardware, a clinic, etc. In terms of commuting, Rosslyn is one of the most convenient neighborhoods in the DMV. You have access to three metro lines and can get to downtown DC or the Claredon bar scene in a heartbeat via metro. You can also walk about 20 minutes across the Potomac bridge and get to the heart of Georgetown. Theres also a bus stop up the hill that you can take.- Great soundproofing. I don’t think I’ve ever heard noise from my neighbors unless its people talking loudly in the hallway or something, but you won’t hear any noise from your next door neighbors.- Theres a gym, clubroom (with amazing views I must say), pool (I never got to use it because I moved in post labor day 2019 and then COVID happened early 2020 so I cant review that), business center, etc.- They have taken COVID precautions very seriously. There are many signs reminding people to socially distance and wear masks, they are limiting the number of people who can be in an elevator at once (unless you’re members of the same apartment) and they’ve kept the amenities closed for a long time to stop the spread. They also tape notices regularly on everyone doors that gives updates on COVID and what they’re doing about it.- They recently switched to having Amazon Hub Lockers, which is great because the old package system was not good. Now when you get a package, you get emailed a code and then you just punch in the code downstairs and your package pops out! Bigger packages are sometimes left in front of your unit, sometimes left in the package room (not in a locker, but you still get a notification that a package is there for you)- You’re easily able to pay rent via check (drop off box in the lobby) or online in their resident portal, whichever is most convenient for you.- I haven’t experienced any significant maintenance issues. Have always had working appliances, hot water etc. The only thing I ever had was a sink clog (which they fixed in like 10 minutes) and a bathroom light go out (which they replaced easily)- They’ve been really kind during our move-out process so far. Everything has been really straightforward and they even prorated our last month’s rent since our lease ends mid month.- The apartments are very clean. I might have lucked out because I live on the 13th floor, but I have never seen a single bug during my 18 month lease.Cons- Poor internet reception in the elevator, lobby, or directly outside the building. Your calls will drop and messages will stop sending once you start going downstairs.- The apartments can get hot during the summer. This past summer I couldn’t get my temperature below 80 degrees, even with my AC blasting.- Occasionally the outside of the building smells like urine, presumably from residents’ dogs.- Not a big deal, but their gym is carpeted, which I can’t imagine is very sanitary.- Personal preference, but I wish my unit was more modern. It had tan/dingy colored walls, black appliances, and cherry cabinents. It made things look dark/dreary.Tips/Other- Pay your rent via check at the drop-off box downstairs. You’ll avoid the online processing fees- Delivery people can’t come upstairs, this is kind of annoying during COVID but good for security.Overall, I really liked Parc Rosslyn. I’m only leaving because I want to live alone/not sleep in a sunroom, and couldn’t afford to do that here. I would recommend Parc Rosslyn to anyone I know!
Honestly, Parc Rosslyn is hands down the best place I have lived in this area. The staff is very nice, helpful and attentive. Everyone seems to know and understand their role. The property seems to run like a well oiled machine. The amenities are great, even though we are still dealing with a pandemic. Things are opening up slowly and cautiously. I truly enjoy calling Parc Rosslyn, home. Management is very responsive when I have an issue or concern. The building is clean, maintenance is super responsive to any request for help. Ive never had this level of service where I have lived in the past. I assure you if you visit Parc Rosslyn, you will want to live at Parc Rosslyn. I would like to say Thank You, to everyone at Parc Rosslyn for their hard work and dedication.
I am so happy to be moved out from Parc Rosslyn. Unfortunately, this was a bad experience for my family and we all very much looked forward to the day we moved out. Giving one star is generous. We had issues for months with no hot water. Showers would go cold almost instantly even though the apartment has tankless heaters and should not have that problem. During one attempt to fix this problem, the maintenance man broke the seal behind the master shower and the apartment had water flooding through the bathroom, a closet and entryway while we were out for the day. As a result many of the tiles cracked and broke. The fix for this was taping cardboard to the tile for 6 months while we lived there. We also had our own car towed. The building is “secure” but there is access given to a tow company to come in at any time and tow vehicles. The company does not need a member of staff with them when they enter the parking garage. The only thing they look for is a plastic tag in the front window. Our tag had fallen (unbeknownst to us) and was on the driver side of the car. Yes, it was in the car and we had no idea it had fallen. Even though we had provided our vehicle make, license plate number and all of our contact information, this was not used to determine if our car was parked legally or not. I was never given a satisfactory response to why the apartment collects this information if it is not used to verify if a car should or should not be there prior to towing.I called to have my filter changed when it looked like the picture below. The building clearly lacks proper maintenance care. Mail was left out unsecured as were packages. Our mailbox was open several times when we went to check mail. While it is a nonsmoking building, there were also issues with smokers in the building and also the smell of weed. This smell wafted into our apartment and it was quite disgusting. The way this was dealt with was by putting flyers up reminding residents it is a nonsmoking building. There are 3 elevators and you cannot use the stairs to go up to your floor as all the doors are locked. You can only use the stairs to exit the building. Often, one elevator was out of order. If someone was moving in and an elevator was reserved you could wait quite some time.I hope that these issues are addressed and others don’t have to go through the experiences that my family did.
I remembered reading all the reviews to decide which apartment to rent in Rosslyn when I was still in Portland OR. My decision was entirely based on the reviews. After living in Parc Rosslyn, I also checked all the apartments in this area just to see if I made the right choice. My conclusion is that the Parc Rosslyn is by far the best. Since I was benefitted from reviews, I ‘d like to write this review to help others who are looking for apartments in this area. Some apartments I walked in, the strong smell of carpet cleaner, air refresher, perfume, clone… mixed together made me unable to breath. I like fresh air, and Parc Rosslyn is almost fragrance free and very clean. It is right by a park. All together, it is just a beautiful and comfortable place to call home. Floor to ceiling windows bring lots of lights in and apartments are spacious compare to other apartments.Sheila in the office is amazing. She is professional, sweet, kind, compassionate, and understanding. I had some hard times when I tried to move in. She tried her best to help me every step of the way. She and the whole team were not just leasing rooms but also helping the residences here as a family does for each other. Sheila’s professionalism and kindness have made a great difference in my life. I don’t want move to any other place because Sheila (and her team ) has made this place home to me. Although, there are many indicators in my personal life tell me to move back to Oregon, I just don’t want leave this place. Even, if I had to leave, I would certainly return when all situations settle or even retire here.Shirley at the front desk is very sweet and friendly. She made this place even more welcoming. She helped me stopped a scammer without me asking of her. She is very responsible and very helpful. A sweet lady.
I cant speak highly enough about the level of service at Parc Rosslyn. From when I was first looking at apartments, and on into my time as a resident, the staff have gone out of their way to be helpful, accommodating, and friendly. Maintenance is extremely responsive and good about following up, and Shirley at the front desk makes everything run smoothly. Aside from the excellent service, beautiful floor plans and a really good price for the area - definitely recommend!
I recently moved to Parc Rosslyn and could not be happier! The apartment, location, and staff are top notch and surpassed all of my expectation. Ms. Shirley manages the front desk and is the buildings greatest asset! She is incredibly friendly, warm, and helpful. Since I moved in, she has gone out of her way to make sure I feel welcome and have everything I need from gym reservations to taking care of my packages (of which there are many as I am moving in). I am very grateful for the Parc Rosslyn staff and community and am excited to be living here!
Ive lived here for almost a year now and just moved into another apartment. The apartments are pretty up to date and Ive enjoyed living here. Claudia, Shelia, and Shirley have been more than helpful during the transition and have been available anytime Ive needed it. Maintenance has also been very fast when I had an issue (didnt have that many in the year living here). Highly recommend considering here, if youre looking for somewhere to live in Arlington.
I moved into Parc Rosslyn with my roommate into a two bedroom about three weeks ago. Our experience moving in was stressful but positive in large part due to the great help and guidance from the concierge, Shirley. Since moving in, Shirley has become one of the highlights of the building. She already knows myself and my roommate by name which made us feel at home right away. She is detail-oriented and has the utmost concern for the comfort and care of the residents here. She personally calls or emails us when we have packages and works fast to resolve issues which lets me know that my packages (and myself) are in good hands. Shirleys professionalism and care really augment the resident experience. I look forward to having her be a staple in my every day routine during my stay at Parc Rosslyn.
Ive lived at the Parch Rosslyn apartments for a little over 2 years and have enjoyed my time here. I enjoy the close proximity to the Mt. Vernon trail and the Marine Corps memorial for walks and also easy access to DC. Most of my interactions have been with the front desk staff since I usually do not have to go into the leasing office. Ms. Shirley is always willing to help me and was very accommodating when I thought I had a lost package. She is quite friendly and funny too!
I moved to Parc Rosslyn early in September with my partner and our small dog. We were really excited about the location, the modern facilities and beautifully spacious and bright apartment we toured. 5 months later, our appreciation for the building has only grown! The staff is very helpful and friendly - honorable mentions to Ms. Shirley, concierge extraordinaire, Claudia from the leasing office, and John in maintenance, who we have interacted more since we moved, but really all management and maintenance folks are great! As soon as we moved, we had a small list of maintenance items that were addressed quickly and efficiently (again thanks to the staff). Sadly, because of COVID, the amenities have been closed or have limited capacity, but we certainly understand, and appreciate the safety measures. Weve had no trouble with the garage (keeping the building tag on our rv-mirrors at all times) and our neighbors are mostly very nice and friendly too, and weve had no problems. We LOVE Parc Rosslyn and recommend it to anyone seeking a nice, safe, and perfectly located place to live!
I moved in to Parc Rosslyn in August and have had a great experience so far. The building management team has taken every precaution to keep the community COVID-safe. The concierge, Shirley, is always nice and helpful. Even though she has several responsibilities and has to help multiple people at once some times, she is always polite and addresses everyones needs in a timely manner. Also, Rene from maintenance is always very friendly and has helped us with minor maintenance requests we have made.
I lived in Parc Rosslyn for a year and enjoyed the experience. The staff respond quickly and professionally to all needs. The apartments themselves are clean and working in good order. Has some of the best views of Washington DC and the national mall compared to other apartment complexes around. I recommend Parc Rosslyn to anyone working or studying in the Rosslyn to DC area.
This place is amazing! I just wish we could get a bigger apartment but everything is great
I have been living in Parc Rosslyn for nearly three years. It is a great complex with friendly neighbors. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Parc Rosslyn has been a great place to live due to the measures taken to keep us safe (e.g. limiting elevator capacity, rigorous cleaning, etc.). The staff and concierge have always been kind and easy to work with. Renee and Albert have been staff members during my time here and they are always sure to care for the residents. The most recent addition to the concierge is Shirley. Shirley has quickly moved into the swing of things during the hectic intersection of COVID-19 and the holiday season.
I have only lived here in the time of COVID. I think the management adjusted to life with this virus as best as they could. Theyve put in mask recommendations and elevator capacity restrictions (if people want to follow them). The gym is restricted to 3 people at a time and its like having a private gym as long as youre a planner and get on the schedule. The patio is open. The pool hasnt opened since weve been here and thats kind of sad since it looks pretty great. *one has to sign a waiver to access these amenities but thats a part of life now 🤷♀️The customer service of the individuals working, or more like hiding out, in the leasing office since I have lived here has been mostly poor. They didnt really feel helpful or receptive when I have needed their services so I pretty much only work with the front reception desk and I had a good talk with the Manager one time. I reccomend if you have issues that you should work with the front desk and then escalate as needed to the manager if the leasing office is unreceptive or not resolving your issue. The reception desk has been fantastic, friendly, and extremely receptive to everything I have ever needed. They know my name!!! And I know theirs too! Its so nice to be greeted by name. Shirley even knows my dogs name and greets her too. Charmaine and Shirley are the two shining stars of this place. They work the front desk while their coworkers get to hideaway behind locked doors. They answer the phone, intake packages, escort people to access the gym, schedule the gym, schedule the loading dock, handle food and package delivery drivers of which there are SO MANY DAILY, act as the front line/filter for all the issues that the tenants face, and I am sure thats the tip of the iceberg and that they do so much more. They smile and help even when they are probably tired of handling everything. I am thankful for their tireless service and hope SL Nusbaum or Greystar takes note of these two hardworking individuals. *I get NOTHING from writing this review, I am not sponsored or receiving any perk, this is my opinion, I have lived in another apt building in the courthouse/rosslyn area and I liked this one better but thats only one apt for comparison so take it as you will*
I got the worse experience after I moved to here only two days. My car was towed in my garage due to no tag. The fact is no one told me the tag was folded in the paper until I found it on that day. I have been living in such “luxury” unit for 8 years and 5 places. I never had such terrible experience before:( Anyway, the good management offers convenience, but here they only pass the buck. In addition, such case doesnt only happen on me. I only wish they can improve their service instead of letting residents do more!
I lived at Parc Rosslyn over the past year and absolutely loved living there. Everyone on staff was always very helpful for any issue we had and maintenance (which he had very few requests for) fixed any issue we submitted quickly.During my lease my floor had issues with a rude neighbor & management got involved instantly to help mediate & take action. The unit itself was very modern as is the new clubhouse. If I wasnt looking to live in a different area I wouldve 100% renewed my lease there.P.S. Big shout out to Albert, Parc Rosslyns manager. Helped us with all issues, knows his residents by name & is an all-around great guy!
A long veteran of the DC area, I love seeing an old neighborhood take on new charm. And the Parc Rosslyn has proven just that here in Rosslyn. Having lived/worked in this neighborhood 20 years ago, I am beyond thrilled to have discovered the Parc Rosslyn which has brought me back with a grander love and a fabulous view of DC as well. Thanks to the great efforts of Madi Maxwell in the leasing office, I not only came to pick the most perfect unit, but was completely moved in and settled in just 10 days later. Great gym, parking, access and views! But still quiet, friendly, and full service.
Dude, wheres my car? Beware of predatory towing practices.Be advised that if you somehow forget to post your parking permit one day when youre parking your car (maybe youre distracted, or focused on getting your tired kids out of the car and up to bed...or you just plain forget), you may wake up to find your car gone...but dont worry, its just been towed...but the company that towed it did it at 1 AM and doesnt have to check with anyone at the property, so when you check with the front desk to ask about your car, they dont know. You then have the idea to call the tow company, who kindly confirms that yeah, they got your car. You take a taxi, the taxi driver knows the address of the towing company b/c your not the first person hes driven there.40 minutes and $160 later, you have your car and can take your kid to camp and then go to work...you then suggest to Management later in the day that maybe they allow for a bit more flexibility in their policy to give the tenants the benefit of the doubt e.g. maybe the towing company can only tow during business hours, and check with a property rep, who has a list of all vehicles registered to building tenants. Or maybe they leave a notice on your car the first time as a warning - all just suggestions. Management rep isnt really interested in your suggestion, its really just as simple as remembering to post your parking permit. Hes not really conveying that customer service and the relationship with the tenant is more important than the business relationship with the towing company.Just saying...be forewarned. DONT FORGET TO POST YOUR PARKING PERMIT.
My experience with Parc Rosslyn has been nothing but positive since my first visit a while back. The community is beautiful, the residents are pleasant, and the staff has been amazingly friendly and helpful. One staff member in particular, Pjeter, has gone to all measures to ensure that I have the best experience with Parc Rosslyn. He is super polite, very informative, and when he promises to do a job he will make sure he follows through with his word. I appreciate him for all that he does on a constant basis!
I really love the staff that work at parc rosslyn. They are always so friendly and know us all by name. It’s a great place to live and they always organize fun gatherings so we can meet our neighbors and get to know the people around us. The pool is awesome in the summer and the gym is great! My family and I love that we can grill anytime that we like and enjoy the nice wether! Thanks to Albert, Pieter, Sheila and James and all the rest of the staff for making it a great place to live!
My wife and I have had a great experience so far with Parc Rosslyn, having moved in a bit over a month ago. We were initially drawn to the community by the location and the distinct floor plans, and we felt that the features and amenities (modern kitchens, wood floors, floor to ceiling windows in the living space) provided great value compared to some of the other communities we researched.Beginning with our initial tour of the community with Pjeter Elezovic, we have found the leasing office staff, the front desk, and the maintenance staff to be incredibly professional, courteous, responsive, and efficient. We’ve been really impressed with their attentiveness and attention to detail. Their efforts really set this community apart. The units in the building are clean and modern, and they allow plenty of natural light. Despite being close to and facing the highway we hear very little road noise, and we hear pretty much zero noise from surrounding units. The apartment also seems to hold temperature very well, so that even now in the coldest part of the year our utilities are not constantly running. We’re very happy we decided to make Parc Rosslyn our home, and would certainly recommend it to anyone else looking in the area!
Parc Rosslyn is an incredible place to live and anyone who says otherwise has a personal issue.I’m on my second year here and had nothing but positive experiences from the staff, concierge desk and also a great maintenance crew, Levi in Particular has been so wonderful to attend to all my apartment needs. He always takes the extra time to make sure there’s nothing else I need. He’s so welcoming and friendly it makes you feel totally safe to have him in your apartment. I couldnt ask for a better Maintenance man, thank you Levi!!The gym is always exceptionally clean!!! The pool is clean with a wonderful roof top view. The clubroom makes it nice to hold children’s birthday parties or even events for your guests. The clubroom also has a beautiful view of downtown Washington DC while your playing a game of pool or watching the big screen tv, also WiFi access, oh and the fireplace and balcony, are very nice too!Parc Rosslyn Apts hold resident events like a cook out, Christmas celebration, forth of July party and always having something for the kids like movie night, lego night or even game night which everyone can get involved. It’s also nice to mingle and meet your neighbors there as well.I’ve only had positive experiences here. Oh I forgot to mention the lovely patio with the big nice stainless steel grills. And sofas and umbrellas to relax under. Also free coffee every morning!! Those are just plus’ in my book. You really have a lot that you can do here, which is fantastic! My apartment has the historic view of the Washington monument and the Capital.. Can’t go wrong with that.I can go on and on about why I like living here but you’ll have to see for yourself!!!
Choosing Parc Rossly was the best decision I made. The staff is great and friendly. Place is beautiful with great views 2nd to none in the area. I love the view of DC from my balcony window! If you are looking to lease in Arlington, I would def recommend Parc Rosslyn!!!
Best team ever
Got one word this this place- Incompetent.I have just completed my lease and am so happy I am finally rid of this leasing company. They are disorganized and will try take every dollar they can from you.If you are considering staying here keep looking.I would really rate it 0 stars if I could.
Albert Simon is so awesome!
