Marcial from maintenance came and helped us resolve some maintenance issues at our apartment this week. When called about a leak in the refrigerator, he responded within hours. Not only did he quickly identify and resolve the problem by replacing the fridge the next day, he went out of his way to fix a separate problem that had been neglected by a different maintenance agent for over a week. In both instances he was kind and efficient. He cleaned the space as he went and left everything in good working order.

I would like to give 0 star if I could. I scheduled to move in today and when I steped into my apartment, workers are still painting the kitchen and the smile is so pungent. The manager didnt notice me anything and its rediculous.

Marcial and Juan are part of the super-friendly and skilled staff here at our building. Weve had the usual amount of maintenance requests that one would have in a property this size and age. They always do a great job, they are quick to respond to requests, they are courteous, communicative and very helpful. Plus they do not leave or finish a job until the work is done right. And they always clean-up and never leave a mess. They deserve kudos and a great review here and I want them to know they are very much appreciated because they help us love where we live. Although I didnt end up leasing at AVA Ballston Square, I was extremely impressed with the help provided by Marybeth through the touring and information gathering phase of my new home journey. The apartment complex is beautiful and the apartments were great as well. I ultimately chose a different location based solely on a phenomenal promotional offer, but the courteous interactions and genuine manner of the leasing staff at AVA Ballston Square is definitely unparalleled.

I’m writing this review as a tenant that is renewing his lease with AVA Ballston Squares. My experience over the last two years has been a positive one. The leasing team always treated me professionally and with a positive attitude. For example, they let me into my apartment when I forgot my keys at work, so I did not have to go back to the office. In addition, I had great experience and response time with the maintenance team on several minor issues within my unit. They are very prompt and professional when they entire my apartment. I look forward to finally using the amenities downstairs, such as the pool and grill area, more this summer.

Ive loved my time at AVA Ballston Square. Staff like Lakel make it a really welcoming and homey environment. She greets me with a smile and a treat for my Puppy every time we come in from a walk. Staff definitely sets this place apart. Also love the amenities and the view from my apartment balcony!

I had a great apartment tour experience here with Mary Beth. While I ultimately did not end up leasing with AVA Ballston square, the amenities seemed great and the rooms were really solid. More importantly Mary Beth was very helpful and supportive in discussing the pros and cons of apartments both here and elsewhere in Arlington! She was excellent.

I wanted to leave a quick review on Marcial maintenance services today - He was so helpful with our issue. Our sink was clogged really badly. He came in vacuumed it out and worked on the pipes. And left it cleaner WAY cleaner than before he came. 10/10. Really happy with his help.

Amazing apartment complex with all the amenities that you could imagine. Located very conveniently in walking distance to pretty much anything you need. I drive my car really only to the grocery store (don’t feel like carrying a ton of bags home) or if it is raining. Parking garage connected to complex. Metro station next door in case you want to travel around NOVA and not use your car. Lakel, an AVA Ballston Apts Employee helped me through the entire leasing process and has been of tremendous assistance during the few months that I have been living in the community. At this moment, I do not have any complaints related to the complex. It is a bit pricey, but so is the whole DMV area. I came from RVA so that is the price point I am comparing to.

Its a shame what happened to this place. Ive lived here for two years and I have never seen a residential building go from so good to so bad in such a hurry.When I re-signed my lease last year, the leasing office made no mentions of the upcoming renovations (probably because I would not have renewed my lease if I knew). They tried to spin it as a temporary inconvenience, but their idea of temporary has been quoted as between 14 and 19 months. Doesnt seem temporary to me, but the woman I spoke to at corporate said the definition is subjective. I asked her what time limit she would consider to not be temporary, and her silence made me think I could be birthed and die at this property and the continued renovations would still be considered temporary.Here is a list of some of the grievances going on and what can be expected for the next 14 to 19 months:-Temporary garbage bag walls...which have already been around for months (see picture)-False fire alarms-Water shutoffs without any notice-Lack of access to courtyard and grills, which were highly touted when I paid my large amenity fee when I moved in. Not sure if the large parts of dirt are considered a new amenity or not (see picture)-Exposed wiring throughout the hallways and elevators (see picture)-Lack of any common area as they are demolishing the lobby and hallways which connected the two buildings (see picture)-Elevators that require you to hop off on the 2nd floor (see picture)Look, I get it...apartments want to make money. There are a couple of brand new buildings that are popping up in the area increasing competition so they need to renovate this place to keep up with the competition. But they are doing it at the current residents expense and will be doing so for quite a long time.Im sure this place will be nice in 2021 when all the renovations are done. Until then, do yourself a favor and skip this place, unless you want to deal with all the headaches mentioned above.

My favorite thing about living at the Ava Ballston Square is the maintenance team. Ive lived at the Ava for a couple years now and maintenance is extremely attentive to whatever issues arise. Most recently, my shower water was cold and Jose H Munoz came to adjust the temperature shortly after I put in a maintenance request online. Very fortunate to have such a hard working team on hand.

I absolutely love it here and have referred all of my friends. The amenities are awesome- the pool, gym, courtyard, even an ATM and printer on site! This is close to so many amazing bars, restaurants, banks, CVS, and the metro. Ubers are always close by. The staff is always so friendly, the back office, front desk, and night time staff. We have had a few minor repairs that have been completed in less than 24 hours. Jose Munoz fixed our sink and was quick and COVID-safe!

I have only lived here for 4 months, but so far I have experienced:An apartment that is both aesthetically pleasing and super spacious. Newly renovated and has great appliances (and this is only a Finish II).An amazing location with anything you could ever need in walking distance.A courtyard and pool that have been phenomenal especially during a pandemic (procedures in place to ensure social distancing and safety).Front desk employees that are always helpful and go above and beyond.Repair men that also go above and beyond!And a leasing office that has jumped through hoops to help me out of a tough situation.Can’t say enough good things about this place! Great place to live. Ive been here about 3 years and have no complaints. High quality, spacious apartments, reasonable rent for the area and very nice amenities overall. They recently redid all the ground floor amenities, so a huge gym, nice pool and big outdoor area is a big plus. In 3 years Ive only had 2-3 maintenance concerns and their 24 hour guarantee has been met every time (often same day / < 5 hours). Elmar Rivas and his team recently fixed my sink and did a great job. Ive lived in this building for 6 months. Everyone I know, including myself, is trying to find a way to move out. While the area around the complex is excellent, Management is incompetent, the amenities are limited despite having to pay the full amenity price, and there are several apartments in the area that offer more for a better price. Really wish I had known this before I moved in.

Great location, relatively fair pricing, but maintenance is spotty. For small things, like kitchen issues or bathroom issues, they get fixed quickly and efficiently with excellent customer service! In that aspect, they are absolutely phenomenal. However, a water leak in the adjacent apartment several months ago leaked into my unit and soaked my carpet. A few months later, the issue still is not resolved. I’m paying rent for a bedroom that I don’t get to use for weeks at a time because of mildew smell.Maybe my situation is an anomaly, because other than this issue and a few other minor things, I think this apartment complex is a solid place to live, with the location being the #1 perk that it has to offer!

Went to an apartment showing recently and was not impressed. The first 3 apartments were outdated (different than most of the models online). I had to ask to see a renovated model and it looked like they upgrade 80% of the kitchen and bathroom, and removed the carpeting. It felt like I was in one of the older models but with granite tops in my kitchen. It seemed very expensive and I’m sure you could stay somewhere nearby, cheaper, and remodeled better.

Leasing is not responsive! We toured the community and had a few questions. The leasing staff didnt even help us. When we called for answers about the apartment we kept being told they werent at their desk or available. Eventually one of the front desk people helped us with our questions. He told us that the current special applied to the apartments that had the star. The current special was one month off select units! The unit we wanted had the star we were hype! So, we applied to the apartment.They sent us the lease and it didnt have the correct concessions. They emailed us back and said oh that doesnt apply to this. So we let them know we wouldnt be signing the lease.They then just responded and told us we had to pay $500 for holding the apartment. We never signed the lease, nor was this apartment currently vacant. if they would have ANSWERED the calls then we could have talked about the current promotions and maybe come to a better resolution. (PS Why are they always away when they arent even walking with you during the tours?!)There are such nicer apartments available for a better price in this area. Just dont even bother!

Fantastic repair service provided by AVA Ballston Square. I had a sink stoppage later on a Friday night and early (within reason) Saturday morning, I had a technician up to fix the problem. While fixing the initial issue, he identified another 2 things that needed to be repaired. Instead of either ignoring them or just merely mentioning them to me; he went and grabbed the supplies needed to knock it all out in one go. Mr. Kortez was professional, timely, courteous, and friendly. I have lived in AVA Ballston Square for some time now and will not leave as the staff and crew are top tier !

Since moving into Ava Ballston a few months ago, I have had nothing short of a great experience. From the front desk staff, to the Consultants and Management, they are always friendly and willing to help out with anything. The office always keeps residents abreast of things in the community, from resident events all the way to outages, we are always in the know. As the face of a recent traumatic event that happened on the property, the staff managed the situation with patience, understanding, and class. Love living here and would recommend!

I wish I had never moved into this building. As others have pointed out, the construction experience has been a nightmare. Before signing a lease, it would have been nice to have been given a warning like hotels give when they are undergoing renovations, but that is not the way this company works. I would have moved out long ago if I did not have to hire movers because of my disability. Speaking of disabilities, this building does not seem to care about the Americans with Disabilities Act. Not even the brand new construction has been built to be accessible by those of us with mobility Issues.Not only have we had to deal with what jackhammer vibrations traveling throughout the concrete structure, we have had all of the amenities that were advertised when shown the building before signing a lease. Outdoor space - gone. Barbecue grills - gone. Computer lounge - gone. Outdoor tables and chairs - gone. Entertaining space - gone. Even the morning coffee - gone. Oh, and I had to pay an amenity fee for the amenities that have disappeared with no compensation. Plus, they are now going to charge amenity fees yearly now. But hey that’s a cool $357,000 a year more for the owners.Even before the construction started, they did not care about problems like the smell of rotting garbage permeating the halls. They did not care about the hallways being cold in winter or hot in summer. Then they ripped out the first floor apart with it open to the outside all summer and all winter, all the while shamelessly billing the tenants for the utilities to pump cool air outside in the summer and pump out heating when the were no outside walls in winter. By the way, the windows in your bedroom do not open. Is that even legal?I just wish I could get out of here. I give up. Just let me out of my lease.

Still the same for Mo and the maintenance staff, however the overall quality of life has gone down due to petty and lazy staff. I no longer live here due to buying a home, but even in my last days the staff was just dis interested and not up to providing a good living experience for the tenants.

This review is for Kortez, he just left our apartment after fixing our kitchen light. The first thing I said to him when he was done was LET THERE BE LIGHT! It was so bright and awesome! We moved in a few months ago and overall the experience has been pretty great! From day one, the apartment team was very accommodating in our moving experience. Diego was so helpful in answering all of our questions and being upfront about everything happening in the apartment complex. We knew moving in that there would be lots of construction because the community is updating. With my boyfriend working from home, this was definitely a concern. Yes, there is lots of construction during the day but from our experience it was nothing terrible like others mentioned. The Avalon team always reaches out to give advanced notice about any renovation changes or updates, so Im not sure what others were talking about when they said they got no advance warning. From day one I felt very at home here. It is a great area to live in even though it seems like all of Ballston is under construction. The Neighborhood is adding a ton of amazing things like restaurants, a mall, courtyards, etc. and it seems like it will be done by spring? Perhaps Im hopeful on that but overall, I am very happy with my decision to live here.

I lived at Avalon Ballston Square for a little longer than a year and a half. When I toured the community, it was well kept and it looked like a great place to live with a landscaped outdoor area and a nice common area. After about two months of living in this community, we began getting emails about construction starting. Construction began both inside the community and on the grounds in October of 2017 and did not end by the time I moved out in April of 2019. None of this impending construction was told to us as we signed the lease. I was shocked to find out that the entire building would be under construction for an undisclosed number of years. We endured listening to jack hammers during early morning hours during the week days and dealt with a torn apart common area that was unusable and elevators that did not work. They changed the main entrance of the building and built wooden barriers around the pool area. Avalon Ballston Square was not the calm place to live that I had hoped it would be. About a year into living there, there was a major leak in the master bedroom closet, which destroyed many of my belongings. Mold grew in the closet and I had to throw many things out. Avalon Bay replaced the carpet in the closet, but not my belongings. After purchasing a condo this spring, I had to break the lease. Avalon charged $4000+ dollars for the lease breakage -- this was supposed to be because it could be a while before they found someone to occupy the apartment. Within two weeks of moving out, I found out someone else had moved into our unit. A month after moving out, I received a charge for $975 for carpet replacement for the entire apartment. The majority of the carpet was in excellent condition. Anything wrong with it was normal wear and tear except a small area that my dog had chewed. Stay away from this building and Avalon Bay in general. They milk their previous tenants for money and you do not want to live in a place that will continue to be under construction for the foreseeable future.

I really enjoy living at Avalon Ballston Square. The location is very nice, the apartments are very clean but most importantly the staff is super friendly and helpful. Muhammad who works at the concierge is one of my favorite people I met here. He always greets everyone with a smile and does everything he can to help us. Mostly good but few things need addressed if you will please. Upgrade security based upon police directives, get hallway carpets cleaned as there are stains everywhere, and please fix the smell coming from trash chutes. Your cleaners spraying some Lysol is not the solution. Smelling sewage when you open your apartment door is not desirable and it is embarrassing when I have guests. I appreciate the upgrades to the building.

I absolutely love it here. The move-in process was seamless thanks to Autumn Moody in the leasing office. The staff is always helpful and kind and the 24-hour concierge is a much bigger perk than you would think. The common areas are kept beautifully clean and decorated nicely making the lobby a meeting place for visitors that you can be proud of. Love love love it here!! Also I have never heard any of my neighbors above or beside, literally ever, and no one has ever said they can hear our music. Awesome location!!

I moved from NY to Arlington Virginia in September 2017. I read about Avalon Ballston online and wanted to be somewhere close to the metro. I came into the facility and met Autumn who could not have been nicer. Autumn showed me an amazing apartment and I signed a lease. Since living here I have found it to be convenient to pretty much everything, metro included. The concierge desk is always there to help, especially Mo who is awesome. I have really enjoyed my time at Avalon Ballston and would recommend it.

Great place to live. Seconds from the Ballston metro and a quick trip to the highway. There are great restaurants within walking distance and there is even a convenience store for emergency shopping and snacks. Service is great. The team members Mo, Taahira, Shayne and Shane always make me and my guests feel welcome. They handle issues promptly and keep the shared areas clean. The place is currently undergoing renovation, and when it is done it looks like it will be a great place to live. The prices are the best in the area for the amenities and the rooms are pretty large. They are also renovating some of the rooms. All the appliances are in good condition and again, service is provided quickly. I would highly recommend to a friend.

Love the location & the people! Markus and Demetrius are both great people to have as the faces of the complex. Im not sure who said that non-residents wander around, but Ive never had that experience. I feel extremely safe and have no concerns about my apartment or having my packages delivered. We signed a year ago with the promise that construction would be done by summer of 2019. We are now looking at January 2020, and construction continues to go on outside our building. The updates that are completed look great, but we paid a $500 amenity fee only to have ZERO amenities for 7-8 months.The pool was completed as promised by Memorial Day, and a notice was sent out saying that each guest in the building can bring one additional guest with them to the pool. Fast forward to the start of summer and we, residents of the building, were turned away because the staff allowed masses of people from outside our building in to party and told us it was too full when we are the ones paying the rent and amenities fee to live here. Weve had cigarette buds thrown onto our balcony by our neighbors above, which we reached out to the building about since it is a no smoking community. After four different email attempts, it was finally handled 2+ months later. Our trash door on our floor has been broken since we moved in, and after 5 months of back and forth communication between us and other residents with the building management, nothing has been done. Their idea of fixing this simple issue is spraying air fresheners in the trash chute. Weve been woken up on countless Saturdays at 6am to jackhammers and trucks working directly below our building, only to be told that this was the countys fault. However, AVA never informed us of this additional construction, nor did they show transparency. Our apartment was FLOODED thanks to a neighbor down the hall, ruining our computer (which was not covered or taken care of) and causing our rug to be torn up. AVA came in with industrial fans, ripped up our entire carpet, and left with zero communication. We then got an email the next day saying sorry we wont be back til Monday...just run the fans. When the issue was resolved, they never stapled our carpet back down and it remains frayed in our entryway. We have no hot water for the first 10 minutes of running the shower (a massive waste of water), and we have had our water turned off for FULL 10 hour days at a time. As someone with a health condition, I am not able to be without clean, running water for that long a period of time. Weve noticed the garage door is left open and un secure for 24+ hours at a time, completely defeating the purpose of paying for secure, private parking. They have also left the secure key fob entry to the elevator unlocked, putting everyone at risk for any random person to come into our building. Someone even got arrested in our garage because they ran in behind a resident who was leaving the building. We are now looking at signing our lease for 2020, and they decided it was worth raising our rent $145. We inquired for the reason and we were given I dont know as a response. We were open to working things out and tried to express our grievances in hopes that AVA would meet us halfway. They offered $40 off our rent increase, only to email us a couple days later changing their statement and saying that Oops, only $20 off is allowed. A complete sham considering none of the area apartments rates have gone up for 2020 around us. With all these issues and little to no communication working to actually fix the things they promised, we are at the end of our rope and feel that our rent shouldnt even be changed for the coming year. We are now understanding why various tenants on our floor have randomly moved out during their leases throughout the year. As someone who has worked in customer service for almost 10 years, this is not an example of how to treat paying customers who have been nothing but kind, clean, and respectful of our community when many others are not.

Sylvonna at the front desk is awesome! Shes professional, friendly, and very helpful. Always smiling and a pleasure to interact with. She was great in helping us move into the building. We had a lot of questions and needed a lot of help and she was on it! Definitely a great first impression of this place thanks to Sylvonna.Overall we are really enjoying our stay here. The complex is beautiful, clean, well-kept, has nice amenities, and the staff is great.

This review is for the staff at the Avalon.Muhammad/Mo works as the concierge and he is amazing! Super friendly and always pleasant even when working late hours. It can get very busy at the front with lots of people coming to pick up packages at the same time but Mo is always very patient and efficient.Clarence and Autumn work in the leasing office and they are also wonderful! Autumn gave us our tour when we first inquired and she was very sweet and answered all our questions.Clarence is my go to whenever I have any issues in my apartment. Hes very friendly and works to ensure his residents are happy.Great people all around here!

He made our move very easy, smooth, and timely. I initially had concerns like everyone about the construction noise. However, that was not the case for me. My apartment is on a higher-level floor and so I do not hear anything.

Ive lived here for almost 9 months. And I regret the day I signed the lease. From the time I toured, none of the leasing staff bothered to mention that there would be ongoing renovations and insane construction noises and smells occurring throughout my one year lease. There is jackhammering from 8 AM to 5 PM that makes it impossible to get any real sleep. There is construction on Saturdays included. And additionally, I have not been able to use any amenities but am charged $600 for it (the pool was surrounded by construction and dust all summer)Very frequently, elevators will be shut down and you will be forced to climb up and down 22 stories of steps. Water will be shut off without any notice given in advanced, making it impossible to shower before going to work in the morning. Also expect to spend up to 10 minutes waiting for an elevator when you get home from work, as they are frequently offline or in service.If I knew there was going to be construction, I would have never signed my lease. I feel like I was betrayed and mislead, outright lied to by the staff, and there is no saving graces for this place. I have even tried to drown out the construction noise with my own music, but receive noise complaints and threats from the staff. There has been no reimbursement or effort to try to make anything better if you complain.Do yourself a favor and look at any of the other buildings in the area that offer competitive rent rates.

Leasing staff (Autumn and Diego) are amazing and explained everything well. Love the new carpet and size of the apartment. So close to everything, makes life so much easier at a reasonable price. Make sure you out your parking pass or you will get towed. The fitness center is small and you can do quick simple workouts but golds gym is within walking distance so thats fine. Definitely join the Avalon family!June 2017 Update. Maintenance is on point. Quick, polite and knowledgeable. Had a great first 5 months here. Cant wait to see how the next 7 and possible more go!

She even recommended a curry soup from the convenience store and waited while my realtor and I ate! The customer service I have received since has been excellent. I enjoyed the beginning of my lease, and love some of the employees like Mo at the front desk, but have had a horrible living experience ever since. When we signed our lease, we were promised several amenities which are no longer available:-library within the building-computer lounge within the building-party room within the building-sauna in the gym-mail room within the building-large presentable pool area-outdoor courtyard-lobbyAbout halfway through our lease, Avalon Ballston Square began construction on the building and took these amenities away from its residents. We have endured unbearably loud construction noises that you can hear from your living area that begin around 8am. Many building entrances are not available, which is especially unfortunate when it is raining. The elevators are constantly under construction which has been very frustrating. The entrances and elevators that are available often smell like dog urine. Many hallways are not available on the main floor. I have to walk outside and around the block to access my mailbox. There is an overall messy appearance (exposed wires on ceilings, etc.) from constant construction and our water has been cut off several times in the morning which has prevented us from taking showers in the apartment before work in the morning. None of these issues where brought to our attention when we originally toured the building and agreed to sign our lease. The property management team has not been helpful in resolving any of our issues. Overall, it has been a horrible living experience and I will not be renting with Avalon again.

This was a pretty nice place to live for one year. Then they increased my rent without telling me that the building would be undergoing major construction. They have not been entirely honest about the scope of the renovations and how disruptive they will be - we get a little bit of information at a time, which is really not helpful when it comes to long-term planning.Not sure how soon the construction will be over, considering they have just finally finished the elevator modernization project that started before I moved in 1.5 years ago.Im sure the place will be nicer after the construction is done, but I dont particularly want to stay to find out.

We just moved in this month and the whole process of inquiry, applying, signing a lease and moving-in was amazing. We moved all the way from the other side of the country and Avalon was extremely accommodating. They offered to Skype so we could see the unit, sent plenty of pictures, answered all of our questions and all the forms were online.The leasing/managing website is easy to navigate. Setting up our utilities and online rent payment was super easy.During our walk through, Autumn, from the leasing office was welcoming and made sure that there were sweet little touches to welcome us into our new home. The initial inspection was fair and the carpets were new.The gym is small but all machines worked and plenty of residents use it often enough for it to be reliable. Concierge is very helpful and welcoming.The only advice I would have is to make sure you reserve the elevator during move in. It can get a bit crazy in the loading docks during moving day and the elevator can get jammed. Parking around the building is metered at a 1 hour max. Paying for a spot in the garage is a reasonable deal but the spaces are a bit tight.Other than that, its a great deal and an amazing location (safe and 2 blocks away from Ballston metro).Give Autumn a raise! She was so professional and personable, it was a pleasure working with her and the rest of the staff! (Clarence, Ebony, and Brandon-- you are all great)

Ive never lived in an apartment before so I cant offer the perspective of someone who can compare Ballston Square to other places. But I have to give 5 out of 5 stars because the people that work here are so phenomenal. Service and friendliness are top priorities. They make you feel like youre a celebrity! The concierge service is there around the clock for anything that comes up like package deliveries or any maintenance issues -- which have been addressed immediately.

I didn’t like that there was no notice of the upcoming renovations when I signed my lease.No community areas anymore.Hallways / elevators are no longer air conditioned.Cleaning staff do a great job of pretending to clean when around other staff but are otherwise usually on their phones or no where insight. When was the last time the hallways were carpet cleaned? I’d guess over a year.

Had a great time living here for a year. Maintenance staff and concierge are incredibly helpful, especially Moe and Queena. Prices weren’t bad for the area, and the location is super convenient to metro, restaurants and other activities. The construction is pretty awful right now, so I’d avoid moving in until it’s completed, but I’m sure prices will be higher once it’s complete.

Ive been living here for almost two and a half years now and I would recommend it to everyone without a doubt! There are different apartment choices with different sizes and the building in general is very beautiful but my favorite part of Avalon Ballston Square is the helpful staff. I recently moved to a different unit and Autumn Moody made the moving process so much easier and she was very helpful. She always has a big smile on her face, she is very kind and she is very knowledgable with endless patience. I absolutely love my apartment and I am grateful to be living in such a friendly, clean and beautiful environment.

Ive lived here for a year and a half and can honestly say this is the worst community/management I have ever lived under. Most of the amenities are not available even though you pay the full amenity fee, and you better bring a lawyer to review your lease, because they will trap you into paying much more than you should!

I moved in recently but I could not be happier. The staff is so accommodating, friendly and helpful. From day one they have made sure my move-in was painless. Whatever I needed they were happy to help. The maintenance staff is absolutely phenomenal, they are quick and efficient. The front desk people go above and beyond to make sure that you feel welcome here and are always available if you have questions or need a package . Finally, living in Arlington with two larger dogs it can be difficult to find a place that is not only pet friendly but a place where they embrace pets. The staff is very friendly to my two dogs, they have dog biscuits at the front desk, and my girls recently won pet of the month through their WAG program. It was so sweet, they got a goodie bag to go with their title! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a friendly and homey place to live in Arlington especially if you have pets!

While service was good while there, during move out was sub par and worst after. Additionally even if you take the move out cleaning option they charge you 100$ for that and “damage” fees for dirt they don’t cleaning. Additionally when you have a move out inspection they will do another one after you leave where they annotate the “damages” that their pictures don’t support. They also decided to CC a bunch of past tenants in an email, all of which replied with very similar problems causing them to attempt to recall their email after last tenants mentioned a class action lawsuit. Expect to have a lawyer ready when you move out and to get repeated calls before you get your final move out bill about how you have to pay your damage fees that same day before seeing what you are being charged for. Will never stay at an Avalon facility again.

This was, unfortunately, a very bad rental experience. I could put up with the construction if they had even offered some relief on the rent. I could have put up with the dark and forlorn hallways. I could have put up with the astounding amount and number of fees. But the thing that drove me away was the concrete stains. Their underground parking garage has holes and when it rains, the rainwater seeps through the concrete garage and drips on the cars. Its very difficult to remove.I can not recommend this building or this company.

Ive been here almost a year and can honestly say Im so glad I selected this building! The amenities are great, rooms are huge, and the service is excellent. Moe is the best concierge ever--he remembers everyone and is always on top of things!
