DO NOT MOVE HERE unless you don’t mind wasting money! This is the worst apartment complex I have ever stayed at. Management does not care about you just the money. They came to “repair” the damage from the storm in April but ended up making things worse. We still haven’t received a replacement kitchen sink or cabinets they just left us without one and here it is going on July. Good luck on putting a maintenance order in it’ll take two weeks or more to get to and then they’ll send you an email saying the problem has been fixed but it hasn’t. I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves. Then had the nerve to go up $200 like these are luxury apartments or something. Neighbors are loud at all hours of the night/early morning (playing loud music and fighting outside). If I’d have known this was the ghetto I would have stayed clear. FAIR WARNING DO NOT MOVE HERE!
Just recently moved. Great area . Very quiet. My leasing agent Ms. Ella Whittington is AMAZING ! From the time I applied she was very helpful with the process. The best I’ve come across yet. She get back to my with updates in an appropriate time frame and is always so pleasant when I’m in need of assistance . Great place to reside .
I really the love the apartments and the community here. The leasing staff is also very exceptional, especially Ella. She was very friendly and thorough with all needs and wants. I would recommend anyone interested or looking for a place to check out Liv on the Green. You won’t regret it !
Ella was AMAZING!!! She gave me all the info I needed and was great with showing me a unit. And she answered every question I asked. The energy and professionalism was the BEST!!! After looking for a place for weeks, I love that I chose to move here!!! Thanks sooo much!!!
Ella has been a great leasing agent for me and has made the transition process for me easy and painless. Her service and dedication was very professional
I only gave 4 stars because my lease renewal went up a lot in comparison to what it was. However while this will be hard for me I want to say thank you to Shelby for everything you did during the difficult process. Also this is a nice place to stay. Maintenance is always quick and the community is quiet. Thank you Shelby for your help.
Past this place up it’s not in the budget to put residents privacy and security at the highest level. They aid in criminal behavior but still want to raise the rent
They don’t care about their residents I have ran into multiple inconvenience and honestly if I wasn’t spending all my money on this trash apartment I could hire a lawyer and sue them don’t live here unless you want to constantly feel uncomfortable in ur own apartment and waste your money
This place is a MESS I am moving out of this place when it October because they is to much roaches especially in the night I have called the office soooooo many times and someone comes and fix the problem but they keep saying just wait for days that is what all of them keep saying and it summer and it going to be hot but I cant even use the ac because when i on it i dont feel anytime and and the pool is GREEN for 4 days straight I cant even go to the pool they havent even clean the pool yet and things are not stable in this apartment because things breaks without even touching it THIS PLACE IS A MESS
I’ve lived here for almost three years. At first I was a bit skeptical. The management company has since changed. Now the office personnel is friendly, well equipped with accurate information and I never have to wait FOREVER for a work order to be taken care of. The maintenance guys are very time efficient and if there’s a reason they can’t help you right away, they actually communicate why and when they are able to fix whatever it is. I plan on renewing my lease when that time rolls around. I highly suggest renting here!
Love the complex, and the awesome energy that they have here. The neighbors are nice and friendly. Its quite. Friendly with children. Love the staff.. very professional.. the management is awesome..
It’s unfortunate that I’m even having to write this review. I had just made the decision to renew my lease when an incident happened and now I have no choice but to leave for the safety of myself and my toddler. There was an issue that occurred with a resident that parked in my reserved parking spot. And because multiple people had been parking in my spot and I’m paying for it, I asked the office to make everyone aware that the spot was now taken and to not park there. The office responded in a way that angered the resident (gave that resident a lease violation). I could not have predicted they would respond this way but apparently (according to them) this resident has been a problem in the past. According to them, other neighbors, have made complaints. According to police, the resident is unstable. Their only suggestions to me was to park near the office so that my car would be under camera (but putting my physical safety at risk from having to walk farther to my apartment) and to call police if I saw the resident. They also offered me to transfer to another unit but per the manager it would make no sense because the resident walks the property all day and would know where I transferred. The office is intent on ME being the person to assist them on getting the resident off the property. I want no part in this. I simply want to be able to come home to a safe environment and sleep in peace at night. Every morning I have to check my tires because the following day after that incident, “someone” wedged nails under 3 of my tires so that when I backed out I would puncture my own tires. The only reason I know that the resident got a lease violation is because they knocked on several apartment doors trying to see who the spot belonged to and loudly complained about it. The resident also lives in the same building as me. I don’t even understand why I was targeted or why they simply can’t as a courtesy let me leave as my lease is ending is ending soon anyway. I’ll be moving and not looking back!
I recently walked in and toured a 1 bedroom apartment. The new updates are splendid.Kaylan, the young lady who gave me the tour and answered all of my questions, was more than patient and courteous with me. Needless to say, I move in Oct. 1st. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Kaylan took us on a tour and was very friendly and upbeat she was able to answer all of our questions. I would highly recommend. If the entire office staff is a great as she was this will be the best apartments yet. Thank you for a great tour.
Im looking to relocate from Minnesota to Texas within a couple of months. I called to get some information about the property and was directed to the website. It would have been a better experience to converse with management so I could have gotten a better feel for the community. I felt dismissed and I will not further my search with this property.
Kaylan was so helpful and informative on our tour. She made us feel very at home. Excellent service all around.
UPDATE:Ive been in the apartment for about a month now and its been a laundry list of issues:1. New appliances that were supposed to be in the renovated unit were not there upon move-in. When I posted pics and mentioned the missing/damaged items on the fridge and stove I have maintenance come in and try to patch up the old appliances and they are still not working properly.2. The closets have the top boards so warped that you cant hang hangers on the rail so I had to lower the rails myself to create space for hangers to slip in.3. Half of the outlets were painted right over, some that dont work, including a couple that now have the GFCI reset buttons painted over.Markus has still been very helpful throughout the process but Im waiting to see what he can have done about the issues Im experiencing.Initial Post:I went to go check some units out as I was searching for an apartment and I was referred to Markus by another complex. He was professional and he wasnt pushy about trying to get me into a unit. He seemed to care about making sure I was happy with what I was getting, and the unit I checked out was really nice with the remodeling thats being done so I signed a lease. So far everything has gone smoothly.
I recently submitted a work order for my AC unit. Mind you I have been here close to 4 years. I have often had issues with my AC but has always gotten resolved. The biggest issue was when I originally moved in. AC would not cool down and I am on the first floor. The issue was resolved by going into our restroom and completely cleaning the AC system above the tub. This took a few hours but immediately fixed the problem and worked as if it was a brand new unit. Our AC cooled down to 60 degrees in the middle of August considering that the AC unit on the outside of the building looks like it is on its last leg (may attach a photo). The AC unit today will not cool below 70 and its now June 24, 2020. This unit can get up to 95 in the middle of the summer and again this is on the 1st floor. I submitted an order to get fixed. According to the maintenance guy who worked on it, he check the unit on the exterior and replaced our air filter; that did nothing for the temperature issue and closed the work order as if it was resolved. I resubmitted a work order last night and he came loudly knocking at my door this morning. He made excuses about my AC unit will never cool down to 60 and that he had done everything that could be done. I explained to him how my unit was completely cleaned a few years ago and offered the suggestion that if we did that again that may resolve the issue again. He went on to make excuses about the previous maintenance guy who he replaced when the complex was bought off, how he is now having to go after his sloppy work and fixing items again. The guy that worked on my unit 3 years ago retired before the complex was bought off and I will say his work was excellent! The previous maintenance team not once complained about having to repair items or making excuses will they arent able to fix items. I asked him if he was refusing to fix my AC unit and he immediately responded that he was going to bring over someone from headquarters over and I welcomed it. He never returned and I met with Marcus at the office after he called me directly on my cell. Again, the maintenance guy kept making excuses and Marcus went on about false Texas laws regarding AC temperatures. I then met with a head manager, I believe her name is Lauren, I could be wrong on that. She was direct, firm like it should be! I explained how I am only asking that my AC unit is cleaned like it was 3 years ago and her response was considered it done. Again, she was direct and professional. I refused to have a maintenance guy and a young man Marcus explain to me that my AC would never cool down to 65-68 (my ideal temperature when I sleep) when it has been just fine for the last 3 years. I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering; I am well aware how machines work. That is pure lies and laziness on the maintenance guy. I also rent out a house and my residents had this issue as well AND I GOT IT FIXED WITHOUT EXCUSES! I submitted my original work order on 6/18/2020, lets see how long it takes to get this done. I am granting them 3 stars for now. If the work is done properly, I will then change my rating to 5 stars.I suggest speaking to the manager Lauren and her assistant Jarmellia. They are kind, professional and direct!
Run. Dont be fooled by the price or the decent reviews. Just run. It will be worth your money to go elsewhere. Lies and mismanagement are the name of the game here. Jamie and her staff are the most dishonest and incompetent bunch of liars I have ever had the displeasure of interacting with. Not only do they say whatever it takes to get you to leave the office or hang up the phone, but they act like you are crazy when you mention whatever they last told you. They refuse to work via email, so you cant keep whatever lies they tell you in writing. The maintenance guy is nice enough, but its a 50/50 chance of him actually fixing your problem OR following through with the repair. If I could give zero stars on here, I absolutely would. I could not move out soon enough.
James from maintenance has been incredibly helpful since we have moved in. We had some AC problems and he jumped right now the situation and worked very hard to fix it and make sure we were doing well. When the situation was more complex than he first imagined he made sure we were taken care of until he fixed the problem. Hard worker and excellent attention to customer care!
The CLOTHING CARE CENTER has been a No Access amenity for the majority of the time Ive been here and and the 3 months it was open, most of the equipment was faulty. No one should be paying for amenities they have no access too.OPEN from July of 2019 to Aug-Oct of 2019, then closed to residents and turned into storage. As of March 2020 it was removed entirely and there has been no update of its new location on the premises.
I appreciate the fact that even when I was persistent and frustrated with my issues, Marcus and the rest of the team stayed calm and professional. This will be my second year here; and the first year under new management and I can tell you already its 10x better already. Thank you guys.
JarMellia McGowan Was so helpful! She helped us find our new home and made sure we were taken care of! You can’t find customer service like that anymore and I’m so happy that we made our home with a team that cares so much!
We just moved in a few days ago and we love it so far. Every one in the office has been nice & very helpful. I really appreciate the welcome basket with cleaning items in it.
It was a very good experience for a while until the summer started rolling in. The staff was very rude and not very helpful while moving out early once they found out I wanted to leave early they started getting attitudes. We lived on the 3rd floor and it got so hot in our house we had to stay at hotels and friends house, when they finally came to fix our air they were snooping through stuff in my house. They did not call or let me know someone was coming out to my house. They decided to go under my table and snoop through my ash tray that I originally keep outside but it happened to storm that night. Came back home with my ash tray on my bed, I reported a bug problem and they told me it would take almost a week to take care of because it wasn’t urgent. You pay so much for a house with a pool but can never use it, on top of that it was infested with ants. It took them almost 2 weeks to remove hornets nest from in front of my house. Got stung 2 times and took two hospital trips and they still never took care of the ones on my patio so I could barely use it. JAMIE was very respectful until she found out we were moving and she would get attitudes any time we called to complain about something. The water got turnt off and they didn’t notify the residents to address they were fixing stuff, I reported a problem about neighbors who were threatening me and my pup and it was never took care of after I reported the problem it happened again a week later. I spent more money getting rid of the ants then I did the house.Beautiful view beautiful house beautiful grounds. Other then that my experience as a first time renter was horrible and our rent always went up event though Jamie told me it wouldn’t change all the time
I have lived her for a yr now, and Im looking to renew my lease. Ive never had an issue with the office staff or maintenance, theyre all great! My issues have been resolved in an efficient and timely manner. Would recommend this property to anyone looking in the area with great shopping.
James from maintenance is always quick, friendly, and knows what he’s doing! I appreciate the professionalism and making things comfortable especially during times like this ! Thanks so much !
These are great apartments in a great area. They are a bit older and that brings some issues its completely understandable, but the maintenance and the office staff are always friendly and quick to respond to such issues. I have loved my time here and will always recommend it to others.
DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!! My first year went smooth. The second year was a nightmare I am very clean but I would still see ants and I kept having a water leak and they would do nothing about it. THE AC DOES NOT WORK HALF OF THE TIME. The pool is never open and now that we are moving they stated we have to pay $900 in fees because we didn’t notify them that we were moving 60 days in advance. However, we did let them know and they stated that even tho we told them via email and over the phone it had to be a form filled out but they didn’t send the form till a few weeks before our lease is up.So basically your office didn’t follow up correctly and trying to charge us. I called corporate they claimed they would follow up with us and call back and NEVER DID! JarMellia isn’t helpful very rude and doesn’t accept responsibility that her staff messed up. Our lease is up July 28th but we are trying to move sooner than that. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!!!
They are new management still but so far so good
The apartments do not get below 85°F in the summer. Work orders were placed, but they said there was nothing wrong with the air conditioning. The pool didnt work all summer, so there was absolutely no way to cool down. Unlivable conditions accompanied by a staff that does not care for the lives of their residents. Do NOT live here.
It takes forever to get anything fixed around here. A maintenance request should only take one phone call, but instead you have to keep calling because it’s never fixed correctly the first time.. There is a lot of different reasons I want to move from here. The office staff can and will be rude on occasion. They also will charge you for every little thing that they can charge you for, etc., etc...
I have lived here for 8 months on a 9 month lease, because of my experience here i plan on renewing for 1 yr. The entire staff from office to maintenance have provided me excellent service. Thank you Eastmont Staff for all you do to make Eastmont an awesome place to live at.
Got my deposit back quickly. We moved in and immediately complained because our apartment was over 80° at night. We were told because we were on the 3rd floor, vaulted ceilings it would not drop as low as we want. We had to get corporate involved and they claimed it was working properly. Working properly in their definition was if it was 20° lower than outside it was fine. Yes, they said if it was 110 outside it could be 90 in the apartment and be compliant. They eventually let us out of our lease. We had to purchase a portable a/c unit and for the 2 months were were there our electric bill was over $200/month.Our apartment was cheap, but we now know why.In 2 months here, we heard many stories from neighbors and are very happy corporate let us out of our lease early.Layouts are great, but summer will kill you on the 3rd floor.
This is now my second year at the Eastmont. I have had nothing but great experiences with all of the office staff & maintenance team. Anytime an issue has come up they have helped to get it resolved in a prompt manner. I appreciate them for making it such a great place to live. I definitely recommend The Eastmont 👍
Memorial day weekend(Saturday) my apartment became infested with bees and wasp. I called the office to inform them of the situation and all they could do is tell me to open the window and/or door to let them out. They also stated that they couldnt do anything until Tuesday. I wasnt able to stay in my apartment over the weekend. Sunday when I came back to check on my place I had dead bees in my light fixtures in the kitchen and dining room. Due to the pandemic I have been working from home since the end of March. So of course I had to work from home Tuesday so I had to buy supplies to cover up my dininarea and kitchen. Painter tape and painter tarp. I called the office first thing tuesday to see what they could do. Marcus answered the phone who I had been speaking with previously seemed annoyed that I was calling again. He stated that he would let his manager know the situation and see what the next step would be this is at 9:16am. I asked if he was going to call me back or if I needed to follow up with him he stated he would call me back. It was now 1pm and time for me to take my lunch and still havent heard back from anyone an t this point. I went to the office on my lunch break and asked to speak a manage he proceeds to tell me the office is closed as I stood in the day way with a mask on. In explained who I was and stated that I have been waiting for a call back from someone. He stated that his manager just got off of the phone and that I wasnt the only one with this issue which wasnt the first time he had mentioned this. I explained to him that the bees are inside my apartment not outside liked he had mentioned about the other resident which wasnt important. The fact is I requested service and nothing was provided no one was able to follow up with me to let me know the proper steps. After that the manager(Cory) flew around the corner and explained that I was being Confrontational. They told me that bees and wasp being inside my apartment was not an emergency and they wouldnt be able to send the exterminator out until Thursday which is the normal day of service that t I pay for that is included in my rent.( thursday came and went and the exterminator never came). She did inform me that the maintenance guy was servicing the other resident and once he came back from lunch he would come to my place. Which I was fine with. I asked what they were going to do and her whole body language as she was Shrugging her shoulders as if she didnt care all she was trying to do was get me out of the office. I asked for her managers number and all she did was have marcus write down his name and the website for where I can search for it on my own. Rude! I have been at the complex for 6 years this and never came across such rude and insensitive people. The maintenance guys were so nice they seen all the bees that in my light fixtures and were able to find a hole behind my water heater where they were coming from they sprayed and patched up the hole. They even clean up the bees from both light fixtures and my window. I appreciate their sensitivity and their determination to make up for their slack of professionalism both Cory and Marcus displayed this whole time.
The Eastmont was the worst decision in my familys move to Arlington. we arrived in April 2019 and the pool was closed the ENTIRE summer for repairs. It took them 2 months to come look at our broken dishwasher, took another 2 weeks to fix it, and then they replaced it the following day. They are either understaffed on the maintenance team or not interested in doing their job until you call the office everyday for a week. The bathroom above us sprung a leak and it was raining into my shower for 10 hours before they could be bothered to come look. When they finally got around to trying to fix it they left a hole in the bathroom with exposed black mold for 5 days, putting my 1 month old sons health at risk, not to mention the rest of our family. January 2020 they were bought by a new company and things started getting fixed around the property maybe this is a turning of a new leaf for the Complex, but we cant get out of here fast enough.
Impossible to get them to fix the air conditioning. They will not answer the phone so you can talk to them, then they lie to your face and tell you that you never contacted them about the issue. They have no care or concern for living conditions! Do not rent from these shady people.
Ive lived here for more than 10 years, in the same apartment. Ive looked at other apartment complexes in the area, and I still think the Eastmont gives you more bang for your buck. Jaime, the manager, has been very supportive and I greatly appreciate that.
This is a TERRIBLE PROPERTY!!! The 1st year went smooth.. oh but during year 2...The management staff is unprofessional, they’re liars, and they do not care about the tenants!!! I went to the office with my complaint and the assistant manager stated “ I haven’t seen you since you moved in.” WHO CARES??!!!! FIX MY A/C!!!!!The maintenance isn’t very product knowledgeable nor do they make the best repair decisions!! We’ve gone 4 days and counting with no a/c in HOT TX SUMMER HEAT and was provided no explanations !! The maintenance crew doesn’t know what they’re doing nor what they’re talking about!! They came out and started working on the unit then just left. No updates no notifications that they’ll return the next day, just left and went home!! I requested corporates number several times and the assistant manager refused to provide it to me stating the manager is the only one with that information and that she’d have her call me back. I waited 5 hours for a call back only to not receive one; so I went to the office to find out she was away at another property and stopped to get lunch. Also, summer is dang near over and the pool has yet to be opened!! They didn’t notify us that there was an issue with it until summer was a month in and when they got complaints about people jumping the fence to go swim. The staff is immature and unprofessional!! Regardless if you pay your rent on time every month, they don’t care!!!I DO NOT recommend this property to anyone!!However if you do, be sure to get a 1st floor unit. You’ll stand a better chance at not sweating all night!! Sad to say you literally get what you pay for at this complex. I will NOT be renewing my lease!!!!!
This place was a NIGHTMARE! Jamie and her staff were extremely rude and unprofessional! The units are old and things break one after the other. The a/c hardly ever worked well, and the pool was never open.We had a very similar experience to another review, when it had came to the end of our lease we never received any sort of notification or letter regarding if we would be resigning the lease or not so I email the office myself after 30 days were left to let them know me and my roommate had decided to not renew, however I never received any reply. Two days after the email they place a letter on our door saying that since the 60 day notice was up we would either have to renew the lease or pay the month to month rate which is an alarming $1000 more than what we usually paid. When I called i talked to Jamie and I tried to express that I had been waiting for a letter and had never received anything about or lease renewal she then claimed that they always send one and made it seem as though I had been lying so I decided to go to the office to ask them to find the letter or show me some sort of proof that they had sent it . When I came in the assistant manager then tried to show me just a pdf of the letter they had placed on my door, which I’m not stupid I know what a pdf is that’s not an email it’s the letter itself -_-, when I asked for the actual email they were unable to provide any proof and In the end they decided to let me and my roommate go.Unfortunately that was not the end, after we had moved out we waited exactly 30 days for an itemized list on if we would be getting our deposit back or not, and of course we received nothing within that time. After the 30 days I emailed them myself I received no response so I emails again and finally we received a bill that was dated 5 days after we moved out saying that we owed money and that if we did not pay within the 30 day time period In which it was sent the bill would be sent to collections. We wouldn’t have even received the bill if I didn’t email. Me and my roommate made sure we cleaned everything after we left and we even took pictures showing everything. we had called Jamie and recorded the conversation. We were being charged for general cleaning even though we had cleaned and were trying to dispute the charges however Jamie claimed that although things looked good on the surface there was other damage that they had taken their own pictures of which she would be sending to us once she “retrieved them from the cloud” we waited a few days and once again never received any emails or calls. I called again asking to speak with Jamie directly however I was placed on hold and then told that she would call me back which she never did. If you want something your gonna have to go to them directly and ask for proof or else they will just spin you in circles.
I have been at Eastomont Apartments for a little over 2 years and I have no complaints. I am considering on signing up for another year. The staff are friendly and have been prompt with my maintenance requests. I highly recommend this place :)
I never really had a problem here.Community is quiet. Neighbors were great!Communication was always up to par when needed. The only maintenance issue I had was I would have to file another request after something not being done all the way...but at least they would come within the next day no later than 48hrs. When moving out of the apartment the billing was correct for charges. No hidden fees. I really enjoyed it. If I didnt work in Dallas I would still be residing here. I am actually sad depart ways with this community.
My sister lived here last year and just had nothing but problems. The pool was always closed and the times it was open, it was filthy and dirty. The management was very slow to respond to emails and phone calls. She had a problem with the A/C in the middle of summer and it would keep going off and on. They did not fix it until October when it was cooling down! What a joke!I cannot recommend these apartment complexes, even for the price.
I love these apartment and my friend who lived here before loves these apartments. Maintenance comes within 48 hours. Leasing office staff is wonderful and always willing to help. Very friendly. Apartments are wonderful and updated, neighborhood is pretty quiet.
Pretty much the same as what other reviewers said - RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL management (which the new owners kept on), inability to get things fixed, LIES and misinformation. Property is old and nothing has been done to it. Things break, (because it is either old or wasnt new when they put it in the apartment) and maintenance will attempt to fix it, but in the process leave your apartment a mess and end up breaking something else in the process. Just stay away from this apartment complex. It really isnt worth the headache!
I have only been here a month but so far i love the property, the community is beautiful and peaceful, great location. the staff has been amazing and made my move in simple.
Shower is leaking. Does not reply with my inquiries about that issue
Been here about a month and enjoying my new place. The apt grounds are well kept and very quiet day and night. Nice on site workout gym and the office staff is very helpful!!
I have lived at the Eastmonts for the past two years and can say that overall, they are a great apartment complex. I love the online resident portal for making payments and scheduling maintenance requests; it makes so that I rarely have to go to the office for anything. The new gym is cool, the grounds are kept immaculate, and Ive always felt safe coming and going from my apartment. Maintenance is fair but I do find them competent and quick to respond to issues. The manager has been here for a while and the office staff is approachable and very helpful; always. The only reason they didnt get a five star rating is because rent is due on the 1st and late on the second! I mean dang, what happened to 3 day grace periods?😂😢
Update:Since there have been changes in office and maintenance personnel things have been taken care of quicker. Communication has drastically improved. Our needs are discussed more thoroughly and taken under consideration.Parking permits are now a requirement which I understand to a point but visitors require them as well to which I hope is a simple process to obtain. The other issue we had last summer was about the pool being closed during operation times. Especially if a holiday weekend came about then the office was closed and so was the pool. I’m sure this summer they’ll be able to accommodate us and keep the pool open when it’s supposed to be whether or not the office is open/closed.I do like that we receive curtesy phone calls for updates or concerns before immediately coming to knock on our doors or have write ups since a simple reminder is usually sufficient to help us fix anything we may have overlooked. Also nice that there are usually monthly activities. It seems the complex is trying to get to know the community better.
I have lived here 2 months. My apartment is soooooo awesome. The staff is super nice they always have snacks 🤗😍in the office and a very welcoming environment it is so peaceful I also like that they always remember my name and maintenance is speedy about any repairs.
Love living here! Office staff is very sweet and professional! I would recommend choosing The Eastmont as your new home!
Weve been here since 2010 and still love this place. Great communication, quick responses from maintenance, upgrades and a nice clean quiet community. I recommend Eastmont to anyone looking to move in or to Arlington TX!
If I could rate below 1 star I would. DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE! RUN! FAR AWAY! They put up a really good show to get you in, then they make it almost impossible to leave! When my roommates and I lived here it was absolutely impossible to get a service request put in through the office because they never answer their phone. We had to ask the maintenance crew themselves what is the best way to get ahold of you, and had to do it that way. They never even recieved the orders we did manage to put in through the office.Things went fine for a while that way. Never had any huge complaints other than the occasional drawer that would fall to pieces or maintenance men that would drop by unannounced to come fix a pipe in a bathroom that was apparently affecting the apartment below ours.Till summer. They kept telling us over and over and over, week after week that the pool would be open soon. Then every time we went back, it would be farther and farther pushed back. Started asking about it around May. It has FINALLY opened now that its nearly SEPTEMBER!This was the first time any of the four of us has ever rented an apartment. The staff knew this. When it came time for us to leave, they swore up and down that they attempted to call us and notify us of the date in which we needed to give them before we wanted to move out. I cant not answer my phone because of work, if they had called or left a message, I would have known about it. I, in fact, tried contacting them before this deadline to ask if there was one, but no one would answer the phones in the office for the TWO MONTHS I tried. Now we are all dealing with REDICULOUS charges amounting to more than double rent ever was. When we brought up to them that we are all college students, and theres a reason we had to split a two- bedroom apartment four ways. We cant afford it! They let us know, almost with pride, that they in fact had two other families dealing with the same issue. They cant afford the fines to move out, so they chose to release.THIS IS A TRAP! They swear up and down they tell you things you should know, when they dont even tell you when you ask them what to do, then theres nothing you can do about it.All four of us have been moved out for months because the heat is unbearable. Two of us have health conditions, and have been out of there ever since it wouldnt get below 80 degrees even at night, the other two moved out when it wouldnt get below 85. Maintenance has simply said the AC units suck. When we bought it up to the office we were met with non responses. The place is currently unlivable, and were paying double what we were all year. These are bad people. They do not care for their residents one bit. Period.
I dont understand why anyone is leaving these terrible reviews about the property management or maintenance. Ive been living here and I brag all the time how things are taken care of in a timely manner, things are handled professionally, things are handled according to policy, and I really enjoy staff. The pool is the only concern I have, it hasnt been opened all summer, BUT nonetheless i love my apartment. I dont have any bugs, any loud neighbors, its right next to the stores and my overall experience has been great. thinking about renewing my lease or doing a lease transfer into a bigger unit and sticking it out another year or two.Update Sept 2020: I am now getting ready to move next month and its bittersweet. I love it here and the thought of having to go somewhere else and fall in love with it is scary. Ive been living here since September 2018 and it is now September 2020 and I cant imagine living anywhere else. I still never had any pest issues, nothing every really broke in here unless it my accidental doing, and maintenance is on top of any request ive put in.. Im talking 24-48 hours turn around. Thats good for an apartment complex this size. The ONLY reason Im moving is because Ive had my child in the same school district for three years and they are harping down on the addresses due to Covid-19 so I found a unit in their school district. If there was a way to stay I would. Im gonna miss it here. If youre contemplating on signing a lease, just do it. I really dont see why youd regret it.
The entire staff needs to be replace ! they take weeks to replace anything in the apartment . I was great until renewing my lease, Everything is horrible now . They Will not let you put your grill on the patio Will not let you put your grill on the patio or they will fine you . It’s like they’re trying to force me to break my lease and move .
If I could give it a 1 star I would. Rude customer service and they do not communicate. Takes forever to fix things and they have ants bad!!!!! They also give you the option of paying for a parking spot but do not tow cars when they park in it. But want to tow your car as soon as your registration expires. UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!
Since moving here Ive encountered plenty of problems with ants and mice . They send the people out to come spray and put traps but after that they assume the issue is resolved and dont come back . The ants have cost me so much food that was secured& the mice have ate through food as well. I tried to make the best of the situation but these people dont care .
The office staff is very friendly. The grounds are well kept, nice curb appeal. Even though maintenance is a little slow I still love it here.
I dont know why a lot of people giving them a negative feedback. I liked living in this apt because its very quiet.honestly i submit a lot of service request and all of it got fixed.people needs to understand that when they submit a service request its not gonna get fix right away because the maintenance guy needs to check it first personally what is wrong and what is the cause of the issue before they start working on the issue.plus the management team already mentioned that they only have 2-3 guys that works in issues you may have in ur unit but they take care of it.the maintenance supervisor is fast i gave him 5 star for being a hardworker.i like Tammerin because everytime i talked to her she address it right away.sometimes it gets to the point that i got frustrated coz i thought they just ignored my service request but its not,coz i saw the maintenance guy fixing something in different unit. you have to understand that you are not the only person that lived in this apartment that have issues.all this is based in my own experienced living at this apartment.
Been here for 5 yrs and have not had one complaint. Great management!!
Nice place to live and good areas around for food entertainment and a very nice park right around the block...the ladies in the office are nice and helpful I love it here and been here since 2009 !!!
Update to my review:I contacted the BBB and The City of Arlington concerning my central heating and air.The BBB contacted me to say they tried several times to contact The Eastmont but no one picked up the phone nor responded to any voicemails. The City of Arlington came to my apartment a few times and per Victor Piza, the apartment is way hotter than it should be BUT it is within code.I have no choice but to suffer thru 86 degree plus temperatures in an apartment where the thermostat is set at 72.I have lived in these apartments since 2013 and this is the worst management company as of yet. I have no complaints with maintenance. When an issues arises, they respond and fix the problem withing their capacity. The problem is the management company refusing to upgrade these old outdated central heating and air units but charge a fee for EVERYTHING under the sun.No matter what they build up the street for the Cowboys and Rangers, this apartment complex with their fees and rent is not worth it. Major work and renovations need to be done to justify people being subjected to their shortfalls. Then to make matters worse, talk about retaliation by the assistant manager, Tammerin. Got family staying with me since December. Daughter was placed on the lease and paid the money for the app and amended lease ($200 total). Kids under the age of 9 were at the introduction but they were not added in December. Son in law transitioning from Germany in April and leaving in August 2019. Was just told Saturday that money for rent would not be excepted until son in law and children were added to lease, and when they leave next month, a $150 removal from lease fee would need to be paid. Not a good look. But, my lease is up in November and although this was my experience, yours may not be the same. Rent at your own risk and MAINTAIN communication at all times and document and or record conversations if possible.I want out of my lease and I am doing everything in my power to make this happen. For the past 2 summers there is a problem with the central air. My electric bill is sky high but no comfort in the summer. I pay too much in rent to not be able to enjoy my place of residence. I am always told it is because I live on the 3rd floor. No maam! I have a few friends that live on the 3rd floor in other apartments and their air works fine. I should not have to run from my apartment to a hotel or a friends house because it is too hot. If I get no relief I will be going to the local news to complain about this. My grandson has asthma and he had an attack last night because it was too darn hot in there. Im sick of the excuses. I refuse to spend another sweltering summer in these apartments. I should have followed my first mind and not renewed my lease here. My thermostat says 70 but the temp in the apartment is 86 and we are not even in triple digits yet!!!!
Went up to these apts to check them out, but the office ppl were at lunch. As I began to walk away I saw a current tenant and engaged in conversation with her ab the property, we were near the athletic center talking with ab 20 mins until the lunch was over... keep in mind we weren’t loud at all plus I had my 7 month old baby with me. Out of no where a Hispanic guy comes out and asked if we needed anything because we were making the manager nervous and scared for her life by simply talking..... Thanks eastmont for helping me not do business with small minded ppl.
Actually not in apartments just near them on trinity river
I love these apartments they are really friendly and the staffs always welcome you with a smile.
These are the worst apartments you could move into if youre looking to make this a home I suggest you keep looking maintenance men wont fix nothing in a timely manner you can go days without air mold all throughout apartment and the just come in your apartment with out notice property manager is the rudest person you could ever meet she should really be terminated she is so unprofessional and do not treat ppl with respect she is a liar and has very little intergity Ive contacted the district manager several times no reply so Im sure she is aware of how the maintenance men sexual harrass the women here make them uncomfortable to allow them in there home they should take the time to read this and reevaluate who they got leading this apartments then maybe they can become better under better leadership
These apartments are HORRIBLE. They are too expensive to live in for them not to fix anything, they give you hidden fees AND HAVE NO COMMUNICATION SKILLS WHATSOEVER. I highly recommend that you take your time to look for somewhere to live because this is not where its at at all and trust me when I tell you this because I am a current resident of the apartments and am trying to get out of this lease as i type this !
This was by far the WORST place I have EVER lived. The staff was VERY rude. They were very racist as well. I ended up moving out of the first apartment I stayed in within weeks of my move in due there being flooding constantly and MOLD everywhere!!! It took them much longer should have to have me switch apartments and all of the staff was very rude as if it was it was MY fault there was something wrong with THEIR apartments. They then proceeded go say that I had lied and they refused to let me switch apartments OR release me from my lease. I had to hire a professional mold investigator WITH MY OWN MONEY and threaten to sue just to get them to consider!!! Keep in mind, during this time the ENTIRE CARPET was drenched due to the mold and constant flooding, Water would would run down my walls at all hours of the day and all the office did nothing! My little son would wheeze and cough and after a doctors visit we discovered it was actually due to the mold in the air!! After I threatened to sue they did eventually let me move a few apartments down much to their anger. During my stay here, I ended up getting a puppy. MONTHS after I notified the office and PAID their pet fee they began to straight up HARASS me. They began saying the my BABY German Shepard was not on the dog list (THE DOG LIST THEY NEVER HAD) and I had to get rid of him all because of a personal grudge one of the managers had against me for reporting her!!! They began banging on my door at ALL hours of the day trying to take MY dog. Every morning I woke up with my front door COVERED in letters, threatening to come into MY home and take MY dog. They even went as far as following my 6YR OLD SON on a golf cart and questioning him! Where do they do that at??? I eventually just got rid of my dog just trying to stop the constant harassment . The new apartment they moved me into was raggedy too. Nothing nice. The management was obviously still angry about me threatening to sue and for having to move me and my family out of the mold infested apartment . Overtime there was something wrong with out new apartment (WHICH WAS ALL THE TIME THESE APARTMENTS ARE SO RAGGEDY AND BASICALLY FALLING APART WHEN THEY MOVE PEOPLE IN THEM) they would ignore our calls and never come out!! I had to come hire someone to fix my air conditioning because the so called maintenance refused to come out! When my 12 month lease finally began to come to an end they were quick to let us know!! They would send me emails almost daily letting me know my lease was almost up and tape letters to my door as if I wanted to stay there any longer!!! Worst experience ever! BTW to anyone considering moving here, they paint over bugs and dust and put new carpet over old mold. Take close look at your apartments yall. Nearly either is or was damaged and has been painted over or barely fixed for show. Once you move in it will all start to fall apart. Slowly then all at once. Dont be deceived over fake smiles and cheap paint. Dont do it. My first apartment was raggedy. My second too. Bugs, roaches, mold, etc. Its not worth it.
Very nice
I have lived here for almost a year now. For the most part, they’re decent apartments. Theyre quiet, the grounds are well kept, the parking during the day is awesome, and at night it isn’t tooooooooo bad. Never have had any bug problems...However, getting anything done with maintenance is the worst. I have never lived in an apartment complex where you place a work order and it takes longer than a day or two. Here, you will be waiting for atleast a week for them to come do anything...EX: change the outside. Its a simple task, yet took a week bc it isn’t an “emergency” unless you or your guest is prone to seizures, because of strobe lights.. I haven’t had that many problems with my apartment, but ANY time I do, they ALWAYS only have “one guy working today” and he can only take care of “emergencies”. ALWAYS!!! That is the only one real frustrating thing about these apartments. They sure would be quick to act if your rent was late a week tho. 🙄😒🤦🏻♀️
Maintenance is cool but why has our pool been closed all summer long it’s crazy and annoying
I Normally dont write reviews concerning a bad experience I have with a business but this living experience is beyond belief. We moved in about 4 months ago and It has been a nightmare since. Mold issues, broken heater for over 2 months and air condition, mice, peeling paint in the shower, paint on the floor and sloppy paint jobs throughout the house, broken refrigerator which cause moisture to continue coming in, broken sliding door, people breaking into my car, crappie microwave, and not to mention water leaking into my apartment just to name a FEW of my NIGHTMARES! And just to top it all off none of the staff or management care. Oh yeah I cant forget how my toilet was backed up and broken for over 2 months and management gets upset because you call to report an issue they should have fixed before we moved in but instead they rather collect rent while they take their time to fix things, if they actually fix them. I have never lived beneath my means until I moved in the EASTMONTS APT.
Moved here in August & recently staff began to change a lot, a money order for my rent was cashed by an employee & the manager Jamie wont take responsibility. DO NOT LIVE HERE. Also our A/C has been broken since we moved in & they wont even attempt to check it.
Great space and big patio love it...
The worst place. I moved in and I moved out the next day. the place had bed bugs really bud and roaches too.
Lived here for 2 years management changed when u get that feelin its time togo.
Havent had any problems with bugs, maintenance come as soon as possible to fix anything you need. wish they had a playground for kids.
2 stars not 5 stars
Showed up to get information about the apartments and the lady in charge of the leasing office closed the door right infront of us. The lady didnt have the courtesy of attending guest before going to lunch. Customer service not the best.
Nice
Run!
