I’ve been coming to J Nails since they opened. It’s very clean, everyone is friendly and my nails always look great! My no chip manicures still look good after 2 weeks. Would highly recommend.

I always get no chip mani & pedi, a very professional staffs and a great service. Also very clean which is very important!

I would give this place zero stars if I could! Im not sure which was worse - the service or the no chip manicure. I thought if the nails turned out okay then I would disregard the terrible service but within 24 hours I already had one nail start to chip, then the top half completely rip off of that nail. Now I have 2 other nails chipping and one of them ripping on the side and its only been 3 days! Dont waste your money unless you want to have to pay for another manicure within a few days!

Im disappointed to be writing this review because I have been a J Nails patron for many years and Ive spent hundreds of dollars on their services. They have always been so friendly and accommodating. I recently had a French manicure no chip done in which the white was discolored and chipped off after one day. I returned to show them how badly the color and no chip had gone. They wrapped my fingers in the foil and polish remover and had me sit for almost thirty minutes, at which point the skin on my fingers was so dried out it started to peel. Other customers were coming in to the salon (no appointment!) and were being taken before me. I felt like I was being punished and was legitimately in pain. Only did they come take the foil off when they saw me taking it off myself, upset and preparing to leave. Someone finally came and finished the rest of my service, managing to cut my already sensitive finger with clippers, and then charged me full price! For their mistakes! After the amount of time and money I have spent at this salon, I will never be returning. I am extremely disappointed in my treatment here.

My go-to nail place for 4 years. They do a fantastic job with no-chip. My nails look stellar for 2 to 2.5 weeks- no peeling!

Detailed quality job. Friendly service. A lady even helped me pick beautiful colors today after she saw the lackluater colors I picked out. Thankful that they are open. Appointments are preferred, I am sure, but they will accommodate you as walk-ins as best as possible and available. A professional and therapeutic neighbohood nail salon that I love!

I love this salon when I need to take a break to relax and get pampered. The technicians are always friendly and efficient. My nails always are finished in perfect shape, and Ive never had any issues with being cut or having services done too roughly. They take their time to listen to what shape you want and find colors that look great on you. The salon is clean and hygenic, and they take their time to make sure that youre happy before you leave!

Love going here for my manicures and pedicures! The staff is friendly and accommodating! The atmosphere is calm and inviting with no typical nail salon odors. Highly recommending this place !!

I called to ask for a question of pricing and not only do they not speak english and don’t answer the question but they rudely hang up after two futile tries. Extremely rude and unacceptable! And to think I would give them a try ! Why open a place in downtown Arlington heights when you can’t even attract customers !

I go here on a consistent basis. Nails always look great. All of the techs are really good. Can be a bit of a wait depending on the day, but call ahead and make an appointment if short on time.

Great service and awesome atmosphere. Based on my experience, pedis and manis definitely last longer than any other places Ive tried so far. If you are looking for a new place, I would certainly recommend this place. Thank me later :)

Because it seems to be one of the better reviewed ones in the area, I have been there several times, but there are definitely a few things I am not a fan of here, as its a mixed bag and a more accurate review of this establishment is needed here. So I broke it down for ya:1st impression: This is a clean place- hardly any wait time!! Awesome!!Staffing: All of the women who have worked on me have been delightful to work with. However, one tech might start your manicure, then they pass you off on someone else.. Also, the same tech might not be doing your mani & pedi.. I feel like the attention to me as a client is lacking because you found some other client to work on?? Or were you a manager who could deign yourself to file nails, but not complete a manicure? I also felt like my manicure was done a bit out of order, and as a result, my already weak and thin nails were a bit overbuffed/thinned out, which I was not pleased about. Having the nail techs rotate out like an assembly line also poses a problem for tipping.. Which ones do I tip?? I came for a relaxing experience, not a round robin game.Regular Manicure: My nails look great- on Day 1!! I see a couple of imperfections but I barely have time to feel disappointed before the chipping begins. However, they do have GREAT color selections!NoChip Manicure: My nails still look great- on Day 3!! I see little pulling back of the color along the edge of my nail, but whatever. At least the mani I had on Sat looks good on Monday!Pedicure: I know for next time that I should probably ask them to make the water a bit warmer, but they completely filled the tub while I was getting my mani, so I felt bad saying anything. Im not sure my nail tech knew that callus removal/sloughing of feet was part of a pedicure, as all she did with the pumice was run it back and forth a few times around the bottoms of my feet.. Did not get off any rough skin and actually damaged a few areas that were not callused.. The massage chairs are amazing though!!Misc: The final thing that made me realize this place needs more accurate reviews is that after they were done with my manicure, nail clippers and cuticles removers, etc were rinsed, not washed in the sink and not autoclaved as required by law- despite the autoclaves being right there behind the techs! Those must be for show.. Thats too scary for me to return.
