Super nice staff, super nice interior, my haircuts are on point. They give a nice head massage too along with shampoo and style your hair however you want it after that. As a man, I highly reccomend it.

Jennifer did an amazing no chip pedicure! The owner even came over and said hello and made sure I was enjoying my service. The place was so clean and the color options were so pretty! They even explained to me how their nail care line is a good option for my specific nails, I was experiencing some dehydration. I feel so pampered! Thank you Forbici!

I have been going to Forbicis for close to a decade for multiple services. Each and every time I have received excellent, professional treatment. That professionalism has only increased since COVID protocols have been enacted. This is a place that keeps you safe and follows stringent procedures. I have never been disappointed!

I became a client 17 years ago and although the same stylist does not do my hair I continue to recieve so many compliments. Sandra not only cuts my hair I recieve a mini keratin every 2 to 3 months. It keeps my curl frizz free. Sandra and mini keratin are awesome!

Editing my 5 star review to a 1 star. After being a loyal customer of your establishment for the past 7 years. Sadly, I will never step foot in your salon again. I cannot support a business that publicly shames and wrongfully terminates innocent employees while manipulating the situation to make their business look better. I also cannot support a business that uses a national crisis to line their pockets.

Forbici is the best salon! I go to April and I always leave extremely happy with my hair. The employees are professional and friendly and make the experience a good one. The salon is clean and well kept. I definitely recommend them!

Absolutely impressive! Thats the first word that came to mind when I stepped into the salon for the first time. Ive walked past the front door hundreds of times visiting different downtown Arlington Hts establishments but never Forbici....until last week.I was blown away (no pun intended) with the safety measures they developed to protect both the staff and customers-other salons should take a cue from them! Since it was my first time in the salon I was given a tour-WOW! One can certainly tell a lot of thought and detail was put into its development. From the hair, to make-up areas, mani/pedi to the spa rooms, all beautiful and relaxing!I received a full highlight with a touch of color and a cut. I have never had a stylist be so particular with the color - AND I LOVE IT!! The cut/color was exactly what I wanted-I will definitely be going back! Im looking forward to trying out the other services they offer-particularly the SPA!!If your looking for a new place for hair you will NOT be disappointed! I couldnt be happier with the service I received!! Forbici see you in 5 weeks!!! OR SOONER!! :)

Client for many years, then my Stylist left .. today I had appointment with Nicole she did terrible job left me with color For over 48 minutes . Then I watched how she is doing other lady hair … basically Terrible experience and to make it even worse manager calls me trying to explain me how she didn’t do anything wrong and I have a much darker roots terrible please don’t go to lady Nicole

I’ve been getting my hair done by Rachel for the past six years and always love the results, my hair has never looked better or been healthier thanks to her knowledge and skill!The rest of the staff from the front desk to shampoo-ers have always been so welcoming and kind. The overall service at the salon is wonderful and I always feel like a valued guest.

I just got home from getting a deep tissue massage at Forbici Salon. This was HANDS DOWN the best massage I have ever gotten- I had to immediately write a review to recommend this place to everyone! My masseuse was Diane. She was very welcoming, personable, and you could really tell that she wanted you to genuinely enjoy your time there. The service was great at the front desk as well. Everyone makes you feel very welcomed and special. I will definitely be returning there and recommend it for everyone!

I had been following this salon on IG for about a month since I had an upcoming trip to IL. I decided to cancel my appointment as their political views are widely visible. They had publicly shamed an employee for expressing opposing views. It seems pretty disrespectful, as a company, to do this. I feel alienated as a client, and I would hate to be treated poorly because I do not agree with their views.Ill just not go in. No, thank you.

Gentlemen, all I can say is that I have never received more compliments about a haircut like I did after coming here. I would highly recommend Joana if you’re trying to look for a new hairstyle. Her service is the result of a great work environment provided from Jackie Lewis the operating owner.

I am so thrilled with the cut, color and style I received at this salon. It was definitely the best I have ever had. The peaceful atmosphere was simply a bonus. Coloring my roots, and then applying in highlights, and low lights throughout my hair, can be challenging but it came out PERFECT!! I highly recommend this place!

The staff is so helpful and welcoming and I love my hair stylist, Christa, whom I followed years ago from another salon. Barbara is just as sweet and a fantastic nail technician and friend. Elena is phenomenal at skin care and has a very gentle demeanor about her; so kind. Everyone seems to love working for the owner, Jackie, and I think shes wonderful; feels like home there.

Rachel is wonderful. I never know what to ask for, this makes using a new barber/stylist a bit of a gamble. Rachel gave some options/suggestions. I ultimately went with what she suggested and couldnt be happier. Love my new haircut, will be back for my next haircut.

Abbey is the BEST colorist/stylist ever. Truly a magician with hair. On top of that shes hilarious and an awesome person. The reception staff is also very friendly and professional. The salon is upscale, but not snooty. LOVE THIS PLACE.

Well I wish I could provide a review but their website is broke and I cant buy gift cards. Then when I called them to buy one for my wife, they put me on multiple holds. When I finally talked to someone, she put me on hold again. going somewhere else.

I have been to Forbici Spa several times for massages. BOTH of the masseuses are great. It is better here than going to a franchise kind of a massage place. I highly recommend.

Dated salon and stylists, owner is knows in the neighborhood to have an extremely harsh bullying personality. Majority styles seen remind me of Steel Magnolia movie. The chairs at wash sinks are old, broken arms, super uncomfortable and the water is frigid, not relaxing! My stylist kept taking breaks to brag about how much she loves to drink beer and she doesnt care that she is the mom that looks frazzled taking her daughter to school every morning while she is still in pajamas. Poor kid! YIKES!

I have always been happy with Forbici service. Jackie, the manager is great! When things do not go perfectly she goes out of her way to make it right. My stylist, Elle, fell in love and moved to Colorado to pursue her dreams. I am happy for her, but miss her great service. She made sure I got a new stylist. Sandra is very talented and tries hard to please.Cannotask for anything more.

At Forbici it is clear that they are focused on the individual. April introduced me to a color method that not only looked amazing but saved me money in the annual process! Staff was overall friendly enough, showed me around the salon, made me feel comfortable. My pedicure was ok but I noticed after I left that polish was smeared on my cuticles on the sides of the skin on my toes. My no chip was terrible. I had gel polish all over my cuticles and skin and the polish had dried my skin to my nails. I had to go home and clean it all up. I ended up taking it off a couple days later because it started lifting from four or five different spots on different fingers because it had been fused to my cuticles. So, beware. I dont recommend this salon for pedicures or manicures. I probably wouldnt visit again to get any other services, because I would be leery, but this was my experience.

Yesterday I experienced an astonishing response by a client taking my jacket. the salon called the lady her name is Nancy she didn’t think that she needed to return the jacket she seemed to be very happy with my new Northface jacket and she left this dirty White gray (my is Snow White) jacket hanging for me ? NOT!! I must agree with her, I would prefer the new Northface jacket, however, there’s another minor problem with her not admitting itsNot your jacket, therewere black gloves in the jacket and maybe one of my pups potty bags. I would think at some point you would know that jacket isn’t yours and you would return it and you wouldn’t wait until Saturday. So I went home without a jacket in the cold bc I wasn’t about to wear an unwashed Columbia jacket

This is overall a great spot for hair and spa services. I have been a client for several years and frequently recommend Forbici Salon & Spa to my friends and family. Jackie Lewis is a hands -on owner. I have worked with Jackie and her staff, who are pros in what they do and also keeps current with trends. They are knowledgable, professional and very friendly, creating a positive experience. Worth the visit to downtown Arlington Heights.I’m going to update my review with some recent photos of my last visit with Doni. Doni has helped my hair health and colors and cuts to get it right. I have a crazy schedule sometimes so I have used quite a few different stylists. I personally can recommend Doni, Lisa, April, Nicole, and they are all knowledgeable and skilled. Trisha is my favorite for facials. Pamper yourself at this salon. It is worth it.

I have been going to Forbici for years, Jordyn is my go to girl. She is amazing at everything she does, highlights,cut,color and the best pedi I have ever had! when she washes my hair I get this wonderful scalp massage and she will wax my eyebrows while Im deep conditioning My sister and I had a wedding to go to and I had my hair done the day before, Im sitting in the car outside the salon waiting to pick my sis up, ( who also sees Jordyn) and here comes Jordyn with a comb and some spritz to fluff me up. I mean where esle can you get that kind of service! Jordyn has taught me so much about my hair, what colors look best with MY skin color or the cut that goes best with my face shape. she talks me through it on how to style my hair as she does it. She recommends the products that work best with my hair without beening pushy, but remember you cant do what she does if you dont use what she uses. I highly recommend Forbici and Jordyn she is not only my hair stylist and therapist ( shes a great listener ) but shes a new friend that I made at Forbici. THANKS JORDYN!!!
