The two different technicians who came to repair the dryer were both very friendly and courteous. Not only were the repairs done in a timely manner, but the work area was clean afterwards. Everything was explained in detail. Excellent service.
I am having difficulty contacting someone regarding a repair that is still outstanding. It is a commercial washing machine located inside in apartment building. The technician needed to order apart but could not use a different address other than the service address. I do not live at the apartment building needing the service. I have no idea where the part is and the repair still needs to be done. I have called numerous times and was unable to resolve the issue.
We had Sears Appliance Repair come out to fix our 2 yr old dishwasher. Its been 5 and a half months and not only is our dishwasher still not fixed...the technicians have damaged it to a point that it cant be repaired now and take no responsibility for their actions . Not only that but they flooded our sub flooring to the point where it was flooding our basement floor and pouring down on our brand new dryer and their response to this was to say itll dry up eventually and leave. So after 5 and a half months...5 home visits...1 cancellation the day of...and one no show...we have a irreparable dishwasher, scratched floors, a flooded sub floor and basement, and a water logged dryer. And the reason they have been there so often is to fix their own screw ups from the first appt. on. So far they have installed a new motor with an old seal that they put on upside down. ordered a new seal and cracked the tub basin trying to replace the seal which caused the floor flooding. and if u have any issues u are directed to a call center in India where they do nothing but transfer u around out straight our hang up on you. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!!
The technician was great. He listened to my concerns, ran a diagnostic and explained what I could do to prevent it from happening. Even though I didn’t need an actual repair I appreciated the thorough evaluation.
Your service could be improved if a pre-visit tele-conference was offered. There was nothing wrong with my unit. It was a settings issue. All the tech did was flip a switch which I could have done if Id known. Charged full price.
My receipt was emailed to me. I never signed for my credit card. There was an X for the signature. Not right to do. Oh, refrigerator still does not work! More Service Work Needed! Over 2 weeks without a working refrigerator. Not happy at all!
The appointment was to be between 8 and 12. I was called at 11:30 and told he would be here between 12 and 1, then corrected it and it would be between 12 and 2:15. He arrived at 2:00-a 6 hour wait. Once he arrived, he was very nice, but again told me he was sorry but that there was nothing he could do. The oven was working like it was manufactured to do. When I put cookies in there to bake, the tops are burnt and the bottoms are still unbaked. Every time I have called for service I have gotten the same answer. I have baked for 70 years and now with this oven, I no longer know how? We paid close to $2300 for this oven with a 5 year extended service contract. It has never worked and now they have sent me a notice saying the 5 years will be up next month and I should buy another extended contract. Why would I give Sears one more penny?When I have called for service in the past they have arrived at 11:50 and the next time he ran in the door at 12 noon, laughed and said he made it in time, leaving at 1 oclock. The only reason I am even rating this at 2 stars is because the repair men have been nice and it is not their fault that the scheduling is so tight and they cant fix a product that was never built to work.
They always do a nice job. Professional. Thorough. Gives us peace of mind, knowing our appliances are in good shape.

I scheduled an appointment for service for 7/14/18 with an arrival window of 8 AM- 5 PM. The service tech, Craig, arrived at 5:40 PM. Craig diagnosed the problem and wrote the estimate, just under $300. He was unable to take payment because his computer was down and said he would call on Monday to take CC# over the phone. On Monday I hadnt heard from Craig as of 3 PM so I called him and gave the information. He said someone would be in contact to schedule the repair. After one week, because I was not contacted, I called Craig. Craig stated the office lost the paperwork and I would have to call the office to reschedule to have him make the repairs. I called on 7/20/18 and attempted to reschedule the appointment to have Craig come to fix our refrigerator. Because of the language barrier, and the inability of the call center to leave their script, an new estimate was scheduled. I called and emailed to attempt to have it corrected and finally called Craig for help. He had Patty in your office call me.I received a voice mail from her stating that she checked with the techs, and no one had any recollection of the 7/14/18 appointment She said I had to get a new estimate. Upon receiving the voice mail I immediately called Craig. Craig said she never attempted to call him an stated she was lying. Craig gave me his employee # to give Patty when I called back. I called Patty, informed her of my conversation with Craig, gave her his employee # and asked that he be scheduled for the repair. She backtracked and took the information and said she would send Craig out. He seemed to be the only one who knew what was going on. I was told at this time the warranty department had no record of the warranty I purchased at the time of purchase and it happens all the time. My new appointment was 8/6/18 (I have not had a refrigerator for almost one month!). I received a call that morning from Ron stating he was the tech and would arrive around 10 AM. Ron again diagnosed the same issue, this time the repair was close to $700.00. No one could explain the difference in price, no one could find my warranty. I called Patty later, and asked why Ron, was there instead of Craig, why the estimate was more, and she extremely rude and condescending, she should not have contact with customer. She said there is nothing she can do.I purchased all new appliances from Sears after a remodel, I spent over 10 K. I have Sears lawnmowers, Sears tools. I am what most consider a loyal customer, the treatment I received explains why Sears as an organization is so close to complete failure.
Everything went like clock work. From me calling, a couple days the repair person was here, had the part, fixed the unit and also cleaned the dryer for a minor fee.The repair person was on time, polite, knowledgeable. Could not have worked out better.The best part is that he dealt mostly with my wife and she was very pleased with the service.
THE REPAIRMAN SEEMED VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND THE MACHINE SEEMS TO BE WORKING RIGHT AGAIN. I DEFINITELY KNOW MORE ABOUT THE MACHINE THAN I DID BEFORE.
If I could give zero stars I would. The guy came and charged me just to tell me my “dishwasher is working fine”. I go to use it later that night and it turned on for 5 minutes and shut off again. Doesn’t work at all. What a waste of $100. I’m beyond furious.
Technician seemed rushed. He said he had many mowers to take care of but he got my tractor started quickly and said there was nothing wrong & that the engine was one of the best. However...tractor continues to be a hard start. I have followed the technicians advise, but it still is a difficult to start. This is my second lawn tractor from Sears. The older one is almost 20 years old and I have never had this problem with hard starting.
I appreciate that Sears contacted me via e-mail and voicemail to provide a 4 hour window of time in which the repairman would be arriving the next day .The repair serviceman (Craig) was very professional. He was courteous in phoning prior to his arrival to let me know he was en- route, and he arrived at the time he predicted. He was considerate in wearing protective covers over his shoes so as to not get my carpet or flooring dirty. While he did not diagnose the problem correctly the first time, he was very knowledgeable and was able to complete the repair. He knew the problem was one of two things, and opted to order only one part at a time. I am testing the dishwasher for the first time since his visit at this very moment, and am confident that it will be in working condition.
I had to wait for over a month to get my washer fixed, there were 2 different service techs, one of them didnt order all the right parts, the other one the second time said we need to order more parts then when we had all the parts the other tech said we dont need some and never put them in. My washer is a little over a year old. I own my own heating and air conditioning company and i would loose customers if i did things like this. If its under warranty and the parts are there they should be replaced.

I went online to schedule an appointment. It was a 11:00 a.m. on a Saturday and I never expected I could get a service call over the weekend. A repair person was at my house 2 hours later! Prompt service saved all the food in my refrigerator! Excellent service!
The technician came to the house a few minutes ahead of his scheduled time, was very competent and friendly. Completed repairs without delay, and to my satisfaction. It was nice to have him.

The only good thing about the refrigerator service call was the technician who diagnosed the problem and did a temporary fix, The permanent fix cost estimate was as much as getting a new refrigerator. I obtained a much more reasonable estimate from another local business. Also I was bombarded with a pressure sale on extended warranty and then a free roof inspection. Not impressed with the Sears service experience,
Repairman was very knowledgeable and answered all the questions we asked. Work completed on a timely basis and he gave us excellent service and good tips that will help us in the future.
Our dishwasher and over the stove microwave oven both went out at the same time. The expert Sears team came to our rescue. We had just renewed our warranty service (good thing!). They replaced the main control board and motor in the dishwasher and a transformer, magnetron and diode in the microwave. It took three visits, as parts had to be shipped and one of the replacement parts was defective, but we now have a safe perfectly functioning microwave and a shiny good performing dishwasher.(They even offered suggestions on how to keep the inside of the dishwasher nice and clean, even with our very hard water!)Thanks guys! Each time we got a different repairman, but they all took off from where the previous guy had left off, there was no confusion or uncertainty over what needed to be done, or what had been done already. We highly recommend the Sears appliance team and endorse the warranty program it was well worth it in our case, we got thrice the value of our purchase already and are just months into the second renewal period.

When they showed up, it was quick and painless (Other than the check I had to write). I was scheduled for a Wednesday afternoon (10-2 window), and stayed home all day waiting for the repairman. He finally called at 2:30 stating he would not be able to make it due to an emergency call he received. He re-scheduled me for Friday afternoon with a different repairman. The repairman quickly diagnosed the problem, and repaired it. However, the labor charge was $169.00 for less than 1 hour of work.

My Kenmore washer is only 4 years old. Recently it stopped working, with an error code of F7-E1 + F7-E7. So, I called Sears home service.The first Service Tech replaced a part, and the washer broke again after two wash cycles. So I called Sears again to dispatch another Tech.The following day, the second Service Tech did not fix the washer issue, told me to diagnose it - as he left it to run a full cycle of laundry!! He said he was done for the day. Of course the washer broke again after one cycle, same error code. Hope he had a good evening, because I didnt! Laundry is piling up!Then, when I contacted Sears to get another tech out, I found out I could not schedule another tech because the one that was just here has not closed his service order....and the call center could not close the ticket.....seriously....no management override to schedule a re-work call, terrible customer service, just blame the system..So I had to wait until 0700 the next day to call when the route schedulers auto-close the second Service Techs tickets. I didnt even know if Ill be able to get a tech the next day, because others are filling up the routes. Luckily I was able to get a third tech when I called the service tech center. He was very good, stayed on the repair for 3 hours - but to no avail.So now I am going to purchase a new washer! This has been the worst service experience I have ever had. It was as if the second tech just didnt care, and the service order system couldnt be by-passed to close the ticket and get a new repair scheduled ASAP......This is not the Sears I grew up with.....really sad....and I will never again purchase a Sears product. My old Maytag washer lasted 20 years, I wish I had it back!
Fast service (same day as call). Parts ordered and follow up scheduled. Technician did however have my son install everything but the new carburetor and requested we purchase and install a new fuel filter. My lawn tractor is only 3.5 years old.
Always friendly and a nice job. I am disabled and they get my lawn tractor and my snow blower out of my shed and take care of my oil changes if needed in garage. very much on time.
5 different visits from Sears. Every time a different service person who had to order more parts. When the 5th and final service man came to put the new parts in he told us that he still did not have the correct parts and they no longer had this part. He also told us that the grill was not covered because of misuse. Really, it was kept in the garage or covered and I cleaned it often.Dont understand why it took 5 different calls with 4 different service men and the last one tells us this. Funny thing, well not really but the guy was 400 pounds and it was 87 degree outside. Ya, Im sure he just didnt want to do it.We are done with Sears

The gentleman fixed the washer but left all the broken pieces he replaced here. I had 3 medium sized boxes of parts sitting in my laundry room. This is the 4th time in a year theyve been here to replace parts (dont get me started on their warranty policy) so I know they should take it with them.

Our dryer broke, called to get someone out to fix it. Was told it would be $80-90 just for that, theyd diagnose it, then if we had them fix it, that $ would be removed & wed just have to pay for parts & labor...that didnt happen. paid $215 total, part was only $20! ridiculous. this was 7/11/18...laundry was getting piled up, so we did 1-3 loads/day, then yesterday: 7/16/18, It stopped working AGAIN! only 5 days working. Im afraid to call & have another person come out & end up charging us again for it. the machine itself only cost us like $200 :(

Repair man showed up to perform maintenance on my elliptical. Machine was squeaking. He did not grease or apply lubricant, but instead told me he would send me lubrication in the mail so I could lubricate the machine myself. I have since called customer service 3 times and still have not received the lubricant for my elliptical. It has been almost a month since my service, and it still squeaks. I paid for the extended maintenance agreement on this machine, and I am VERY disappointed in the service or lack there of provided.
The repair technician came to my house. Didnt really look at my fridge, and said he didnt know what was wrong with it. Charged me $120 and left. Complete waste of my time and a rip off. I still have a broken fridge as well. They should have technicians who actually know what they are doing.
