Ive worked with 3 different stylists and they have all given me the best haircut s and color Ive had for ages. Also had a facial and the young lady did a great job.

Wow I love this salon! All staff are courteous and friendly. Chrissy has been cutting and highlighting my hair for two years now and I am always happy with the results.

What a great pedicure. So nice and relaxing. Courtney explained each step and provided great advice on things to do to keep my feet in good condition. The relaxing massage of my feet and lower legs was great. I will be returning.

I went to Ascension Salon to have Kelly Connor give me a much needed perm. I had not gotten a perm in my hair for over 30 years and was very apprehensive, but with being older now :-( I needed some help with body.Of course Kelly is an expert and always assures me about the effects on my fine hair and would not do anything to damage it. She is wonderful and I love my new bounce and curl. Great pick me up for the holidays and the COVID19 blues . The shop and everyone in it was totally safe and they wiped everything down and of course everyone had masks,which was very reassuring. But honestly I was not a bit concerned about being there and knew they were very cautious. Happy Holidays to all

First time back in a Salon since COVID. the staff at Ascensions did a great job making everyone feel comfortable. Everyone did there part to keep us safe. Most things happened so seamlessly that if you werent watching you would not have noticed. I was very impressed. Of course Pat did her magic to return my hair to a more normal appearance and Anna gave the most relaxing shampoo and head massage. I love these ladies. Thank you.

I have been going to Ascension for a few years now and Michelle, my stylist, is awesome. Was so happy to come back after a few months of lock down - and Ascension is super clean and maintaining all protocols. Very comfortable being there during COVID-19. Staff is always helpful and friendly.

I had never had my hair washed the way Anna did. Shes amazing! Chrissy was fabulous with my hair styling. She was so professional! I loved my experience, thank you ladies!

This is a full service salon. Always very clean and looks nice inside. Staff is friendly and its easy to make an appointment.I come here every so often to get my nails done by Courtney. She always does an awesome job.

Good morning and regards.Kaleigh, spelling my be incorrect and if so apologies, cut my hairI have her card but cannot find it but I know where Ascension and Kaleigh are and will definitely without question be returningWant to be brief:I required a a new stylist - hair cutter as my previous stylist with whom I was very pleased, left the business to travel with her husband She had cut my hair for a number of years.I am old and have been to many salons up and down the East Coast and have had many good and perhaps a few not so good cuts and styles I am still styling my hair as I did when I was a teenager and young man back in the 1960s. Also please note I have during the past 60 years been acquainted on a personal basis with many hair stylists, my niece has her own salon in Baltimore, and I have other stylists who in the past were close social friends. And should add I have through the years tried different styles but always come back to what I had when I was young.IMPORTANT:Found Ascension via the internet, no reference from anyone.IMPORTANT and please note this carefully:In the past, I perhaps have had cuts or styles as good as what Kaleigh did for me, but not ever have I had a better hair cut. And not only the quality of her service, but she was patient, she did not rush, and it was late in the day I think 6:00 - 7:00 pm and and, she patiently and precisely gave me the best cut/style possible. She was the complete hair stylist and very professional and I think at a young age .Receptionists were also courteous and professional, and; I mean very nice and again this was late in the day and within a very challenging environment for Ascension; temperature was noted; and just a lot of courtesy Shop is a most pleasant environment, bright, clean; really very nice.This was a perfect experience, Kaleigh was perfectly professional a perfect, cut, perfect stylist, and really pleasant and nice environment inside of the salon, receptionists, everything.Do not mean to go on and on but I sincerely advise that I do not know how Kaleigh and Ascension could provide a better experience..This is the end:See you soon and thanks once again to Kaleigh and the Ascension staff.I will of course be returning.And thank You for a most pleasant and professional service.Best regards,William N. I have slightly wavy hair and the hair stylist was not able to give me a good blow dry. I had to pay $12 additional for him to use the iron on my hair, yet he barely used it. I had to come home and redo the blow-dry all over again! He gave me a fairly good haircut, but has no experience whatsoever in blow drying. That was Joe.

Since I found this place off of reviews I figured I should write one! Chrissy is a true professional and very personable. She listened and asked questions and ultimately delivered exactly what I was looking for. She nailed the color and cut and I couldn’t be happier. I will definitely be returning!

I was not pleased at all. Stylist would not (or could not?) engage in a productive conversation. She was doing work on someone in her family and wanted to focus on them, I believe. I went in wanting to change up my style and left with a trim. Wanted to buy some product when I left but we couldn’t find her. Wow. Purposely not identifying her by name.

Jama W. recently did my hair for my wedding and I could not be HAPPIER! She was prompt and professional in all our communication and was fun to work with both during my trial and day of. I have dark hair and A LOT of it so updos are hard for me- it just looks like a bunch of black hair pinned up and you can only see the details when you really close BUT Jama killed it. I cant tell you how many compliments I got and I was sorry to have take all the bobby pins out at the end of the night because I just felt so glamorous with that do! Can I also just mention that I was on a boat for 2 hours before my reception and not one hair blew out of place, not one! AND I didnt look like I had a hair helmet on from the hairspray- she is just that good. Jama is a gem and i HIGHLY RECOMMEND her to anyone in need of a formal updo!
