Ask for transmission flush fill and change the filters, Received a text message the day of service tell me it was going to be 700 more dollars to change the filters. This was much higher than that price I was quoted. They proceeded to do a flush and fill. After done I contacted a transmission specialist and they would have done the same service and change the filter at no extra charge. Feel like it was a Bait and switch job.

It was made clear that my car needed to be back in my possession by the end of the week. I tried several times to call for status updates, got no response. Had to go to the service desk to an update. When the repairs they said needed made did not go well they did not have my vehicle ready. When asked what they would do to get me a vehicle they said they couldnt provide one. They also could not locate a rental car. I called and was able to procure a rental from the first place I called. Overall I fell that if Dewey treats you better that it needs quantified. Better than what? Because its not than another dealer.

I arrived at 7:00am for the Quick Lane service using my prepaid service visits for a oil and filter change and tire rotation. I was the second car in line. While the waiting area was very comfortable and I was able to work on my computer, I felt the time it took for something advertised as quick took longer than expected. The team was very professional. I did not leave until 9:30. I was told they were backed up. I took the day off work for this and other things I needed to do, so it did work out. I would have given this 5 stars, but feel my perception of quick did not match the time it took when I was the second car in line.

Went there for their advertised Works. Expected Motorcraft Oil and filter, vehicle inspection, and tire rotation. For $49.99. As they advertise on the Quick Lane site, through the end of September. Told the Service Writer I was there for the Works. Oil change, tire rotation? Yes.Imagine my surprise when my bill was $90!They charged an additional $20 for the tire rotation! I had my wife get the Works recently for her Flex. No surprise bill. She got what we expected, and they washed her vehicle, too.I questioned the cashier, to no avail.$90.DONT ADVERTISE A SPECIFIC SERVICE FOR ONE PRICE, THEN DROP A SURPRISE PRICE ON THE CUSTOMER WHEN THE WORK IS DONE.I PAID IT. I had awesome service at Dewey! I dropped my truck off to Ernie and accidentally left with the keys. Instead of having me make a 2nd trip Ernie sent someone out to pick then up and had my truck fixed and ready to go in the same afternoon. They did a great job.

I called Dewey after an oil change at another garage left my car violently shaking and unsafe to drive. After attempting to have that garage help me (they did not. (Told me (with my 4 month old baby) I’d need to take it somewhere else since it wasn’t their fault), Dewey took my late call and told me to bring it in. It was after 5:00pm and despite the fact no recent appointments were available, they took my car and said they’d take a look as soon as they could. I had the issue found, resolved, and had my car back within 24 hours.They showed compassion and were extremely thoughtful, which I know is not an easy thing to do after a long day at work. I’m extremely thankful for Mike and the service teaming coming in and saving the day.

Dewey Ford rocks! We had some coolant gaskets leak causing it to overheat on a trip from Texas to Minnesota. They were open on Saturday, thankfully, and they were able to have the vehicle ready when we returned. Conner was amazing. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

Unfortunately I don’t have a good review. I did not have an appointment but I did call ahead to confirm the wait time for an oil change and tire rotation and they assured me it was a one hour wait time currently and it was a perfect time to come in. I was literally less than a mile away so I went straight there. I checked in and confirmed we were still good for timing. Maybe half hour after I was arrived the service rep. came back to let me know that I needed to have my back tires realigned and how much it would cost and I said that was fine. He did not tell me that would add to my wait time. After an hour and 15 minutes I went and found my service rep. and asked him how much longer. He told me that I had two other cars that came in before me and that they still had not done my wheel alignment and that they would need another 20 minutes. I told him that I had a massage appointment in 45 minutes and could not wait another 20 minutes as I needed 30 minutes to get there. He act surprised and said, “Oh, you have another appointment?” To which I responded, “That’s not relevant. You told me it would be one hour and it’s already been an hour and 15 minutes.” After another 10 minutes my car was still not pulled around so I went out front and asked him where it was and I was told that they still had not rotated the tires. I told the service rep. I didn’t care any more, to just go get my car I needed to leave. He went back to the garage and checked and came back and said they were just tightening the Lug nuts and it wouldn’t be another five minutes. I ended up having to race to my massage in Clive from Ankeny and arrived five minutes late. Meanwhile, shortly after I arrived I was walking around the show room and was approached by a salesman. He proceeded to have an entire conversation staring at my chest and not my face. I came straight from the gym so I was wearing yoga pants and a tank top but I was not showing any cleavage. I’m sure my expression showed that I offended because I have no poker face and I let him know that I was just looking. He later came and found me so he could stare at my chest some more and asked me if I would be interested in trading in my 2019 Fusion with only 13,000 miles on it for a 2020. I let him know I was not interested. Needless to say this was not a great experience. I will not be going back for service there and I’m not sure I would buy from them again.

I’ve used Dewey twice when I had issues with the transmission on my 2014 Focus. I always appreciated the honesty from the mechanics about whether or not something was worth being fixed and advice on how I should proceed. Was not pleased with my key being misplaced and waiting 30 minutes for them to find it. They also gave me someone else’s key thinking it was mine.

I purchased a package deal for 3 oil changes tire rotation and car washes both times I had oil changed was told car wash wasnt working. Last night had 4pm appointment didnt get in till 4:30 took 3 techs1and half hours to finish when I got home i had oily and diesel had prints on both fenders of truck opened the hood they had let diesel fuel leak all over fusebox and areas where the fuel filter came from. Not happy if not made right I will not return

Brought a 2013 Focus and been told it needed a TCM module which was out of stock nation wide. I’ve been told to wait another 4 weeks before I could use my car because they couldn’t get any part in. Then 4 days later the service advisor called me and told me that my car was ready to be picked up. No out of pocket cost.

Took in a van for a local non-profit to check on cost of repairs due to an attempted theft. After receiving two free estimates from other dealership shops was charged a significant fee for what took the other shops about 5-10 minutes to do. Had requested a free estimate and made a appointment. Second time in a row leaving this shop disappointed. The sales team is amazing but stay far away from the service and bodysuit departments. Dewey they treat you better? They certainly do not.

We received a call to bring in my vehicle for a recall. The appointment was set up over the phone by a woman with a very quiet voice that we had to ask to repeat herself frequently. Found out *after I got there* that their complimentary shuttle will only take you within a 5 mile radius. As I’m 13 miles from home. Counter staff was pretty unapologetic that the mumbler who scheduled the appointment failed to disclose this key piece of information. Staff was also 50/50 on mask usage and proper mask usage.

We brought our car in under the assumption that it was still under and extended warranty. We found out after they performed diagnostic work that it was out of warranty. We were charged $165 to tell us it needed a new part. If I knew that it was not under warranty, I would not have authorized the diagnostic fee. Very disappointed. We stopped going to Dewey Ford years ago for things like this. We decided to give them another chance. We will not be back.

I asked for semisynthetic. I dont know what I got because it cost less than I thought and the sticker on my window says a change is needed in 2000 miles. If it really were semisynthetic I would get more than 2000 miles to the oil change. I just hope it doesnt mess up my vehicle.

Ben helped me with my oil change today. He was very polite, and seemed to work efficiently. I was quoted an hour to an hour and a half for the service to be completed, and it was finished in just under an hour. He also did a multi-point inspection on my vehicle, and the video was sent to my phone so I could see the results in real time. Overall, I was very impressed with the service I received!

Broke down on the side of the road. Had my car towed to Dewey Ford. They were quick and effective in diagnosing the issue. They had to wait for the parts to come in but were able to keep me informed along the way. They were responsive to my questions and very considerate of the inconvenience I was experiencing. They were able to fix the issue and I drove off the lot like nothing happened to my car.

It took 2 days for any diagnostics to be done on my car. My appt time was 9:30 Monday and my car sat till Tuesday PM. A part was ordered but didn’t come in on Wednesday as expected so it was till Thursday that the tiny sensor came in and was installed. I was not pleased. It was also very difficult to reach the Service manager in charge . No loaner cars. So I was careless . I missed a Cardiology Appt. My rating reflects my experience.

Intake tech was great, however, I thought it took entirely too long. I was to get oil change, tire rotation and carwash. First if it did get washed it was a terrible job, windows, the sides of the car and tail gate were still dirty. Second was the fact that it took 1 1/2 hrs when I had an appointment time.

I dropped it off at 1130 am on a Thursday and didnt get my car back until Wednesday. (Would of been Tuesday if I had not had plans up until they were closed.)They gave me a loaner car (which I appreciate) on Friday when I didnt receive any updates on the status of my vehicle up to that point. Later that Friday morning they called and said it would take 5 hours to fix. The loaner car they gave me ended up being faulty and would not start. They graciously came out and gave me a new loaner car.When I went to pick up my vehicle I asked the gentleman in charge of the process of my vehicle what happened from 5 hours to two extra days. (Only wanting that explanation, I got a very intense response of well someone was exposed to covid (as he pulled his mask down to talk to me).Later when I got home from picking up my vehicle, I got a phone call from someone else saying they were going to report their first loaner car stolen (that they had not picked up from my home since it had broke down.) Im not sure if they realized that the keys were in their possession and not mine when they called me...? I did find that very interesting and very disappointing. Ford let me down.

Everyone was courteous and professional. The diagnosis of a broken wire in the trunk was accurate. The price to diagnose was high: $169. The broken wire was visible. The price to repair was very high: $260. I decided to fix it myself. I clipped a jumper in to make sure that was the problem (5 minutes) and drove it like that until Saturday when I could take a little more time and soldered in a piece of wire. Not a problem that should cost $430 total to fix. My other experiences there have been better. Hopefully this will be the exception.

It’s a smooth process and they will wash your car, too, if you stay at the dealership while they change your oil. Normally i have very good luck at Dewey for service. I bought my truck new from them in 2015 and have gotten all of my services done at the dealership. The last couple times i have went in for an oil change the wait has been crazy long. I make an appointment and when i pull up they are expecting me, but no one ever seems to mention how long i will be waiting. I sit in the waiting room expecting a 30-45 minute wait... the last two times it has been close to 2 HOURS! The first time this happened they compted my oil change... okay fine, its a nice gesture and kept me happy..this time they just shrugged me off and said “it gets busy over lunch”. I said i had made an appointment, that didnt seem to matter.. I told them that this was the last time i would be back, i got no response. Being a long-time customer i felt shorted. If you know the wait is long, perhaps you could share that information with the customer when they arrive? I will seek service elsewhere from now on unless someone contacts me to resolve this for future visits. Your experience may vary, like i said, they used to be great! And the staff (other than the guy that shrugged me off) has always been great to work with. This needs management attention before more customers are lost.Edit: 3/24/21 I was contacted by the Service Manager for Dewey Ford (John Bentley) who personally apologized for the experience I had. He said he would discuss what happened with his employees to ensure this situation is rectified in the future. He also gave me his direct number to call when i go in next so he can personally ensure i am well taken care of. This is a great example of how to run a business! I was traveling through town when my alternator (generator) quit. Dewey Ford fit me in to their already full day, diagnosed the problem, ordered the part, gave me a loaner to use in the meantime, and got me on the road the next morning. They were professional. I Brownfield was absolutely amazing!!! She helped us coordinate everything, made sure was comfortable with the process and loaners and made the transactions so smooth! This girl definately deserves a raise!! The service provided on our vehicles was amazing. My car went in with no heat and came out with heat that Ive never had in the 10 years Ive owned the car. First off the service writer wasnt professional. I also dont understand why it takes a hour for a oil change and didnt even wash the truck. I paid for oil change and tire rotation and didnt even rotate the tires, it probably would have taken another hour of they did, and last time they did a rotation my lugnuts were not even torqued to spec. Dewayne Ford use to be good but the last few times have just been poor experiences. This is the third time they didnt top off washer fluid or coolant. My coolant level is still a little low. I noticed a vibration now at highway speeds Ill have to diagnose, cant trust them to do it anymore.

My wife was given an estimate of $5,500 to replace the transmission and when she picked the car up, the bill was $6,200. Dewey has their service team work down to a science. You pull your car straight into the drive up service lane, which is inside I might add so no ever getting wet or cold. They ask your name e type of service your scheduled for, give you an approximate wait time, tell you their name and personal number nd ask you to call if you need anything. The check out is as easy as the check in, and your on your way in no time! I love it!!!
