Got a last minute oil change before a weekend getaway. Very easy process and customer service was amazing. Only thing that was an issue is I tried calling to ask them more questions and no one answered. So we just drove up there and we got the answers we had.

Best place for service I’ve ever been too. Always fast and professional. This all stems back to when my truck battery died and I was trying to get it started in on a cold fall day. On their own accord, two employees came over to the neighboring parking lot ant offered to help with a battery booster to help me get on my way. They went out of their way to help someone out. Since that that day, LOF has been the only place that services my vehicles.

Went in to get the plus service oil change and noticed an odd flapping sound while on the highway. When I got home I noticed my skid plate on my Mazda CX-5 was scraping against the ground. They told me to come back in to get it sorted out and get it put back together. Just noticed that I’m missing my oil filter and drain plug access door. I was a first time customer and first impressions always matter. I will no longer be getting work done here on my vehicle and don’t recommend.

Great place! Zach was awesome, he was honest and kind. Brittany was helpful and friendly. I got in right away, took hardly any time, half the price as jiffy lube for an oil change and they topped off my fluids and filled my tires. I stayed in my car and they have my dog treats. Highly recommend this place!

Unprofessional comments and practices. Who takes out the oil filter and oil before the customer even gets explained what they are paying for that oil change. On top of that still trys to upsell afterwards when told go for cheaper option available after having no choice on going with the oil change. Train your techs better highly disappointed. This screams scam artists

After an oil change my mechanic at a different shop thought he saw an oil leak. The manager went above and beyond and showed me the area around the plug. Although there was nothing actually wrong he addressed my concerns. As a woman, I often feel talked down to at other shops. But LOF has always treated me with respect. Thank you!

Well worth it! Got there at 630am. Got $10 off 0w-20 (between 6 and 8 am). For a Subaru outback. They were quick. Maybe waited 10 mins in line. Took maybe 10mins for the actual oil change. They were very open in showing where our oil was at and how it looked. They confirmed if we wanted air or nitrogen in the tires. There were just a lot of things they went the extra step to show you they were doing things right. Totally trust this place and will be going again!

Easy to get in and very quick service. The price was reasonable and the extended hours worked out great to allow us to get an oil change before an out of town trip.

Staff is always nice and friendly does a great job! I have been going here Since they have opened here in Ankeny. I love the fact that I can go through the express lane and be in and out in 10 minutes if not less. If I need more done I can go to the other lanes and everything is done proper they don’t do work until they come in and confirm with you they go over dollars before they do the work. If you’re looking for a phenomenal place to go where you will be treated right you need to take a cruise through these guys garage. Keep up the great work, fantastic employees and management!

Quick, in and out, kinda pricey but good experience.

I had to go through again because they forgot to put me on the side to do a tire rotation and then had to wait 30 min just to get through again because I had to go the back of the queue after already waiting for the oil change. Then after already paying the first time after the oil change they thought it would be fine to tell me after the tire rotation that it is another $30. Absolute waste of time and not worth the upcharge for convenience.

Service was fine, but I saw three employees wearing their mask below the noses and another employee wasnt even wearing a mask most of the time. If they are not going to take the pandemic seriously, why wear a mask at all?

Good intentions but with a touch of amateur incompetence. Be sure they put back all the nuts and bolts after a service or you may find stuff falling off your car when you leave.

I 100% recommend LOF-Xpress. Here are my two experiences:Day 1: Took my car in for an oil change. You drive up to a kiosk where there are prices shown and it’s very easy to understand. I asked for the “good“ oil (their cheapest option). They did a little print out that stated I arrived at 9:06. Waited in line until 9:12 when I drove into the shop. I was able to sit in my car he showed me the oil stick asked me if I wanted coffee or water which there was a nice little stand right next to my car. He showed me the monitors that showed the car and what was happening underneath. By 9:22 he showed me that the oil stick again and I was good to go!Day 2: Took husbands car in for an oil change and tire rotation. I asked for the “good“ oil again, they said anything after 2015 should get the next step up, so I agreed. Drive right in and Chris went over what I was requesting and brought me to their lobby, which is amazing and so very clean! Drinks, a little machine that will clean your ring, toys for kids, magazines. After about 10 minutes Chris brought me back out to the car. He showed me all the colors of all the fluids, told me he topped them all off, changed the oil and showed me the two filters. One he said looked great, the other said we could change it now or soon-ish. Told me the tires looks great all around and that there was no need to get them rotated. (What! Holy honesty!) Said my windshield wipers looked good and he didn’t recommend changing those unless I was having issues with them.Both experiences with two different people and two different cars were great. I’ve never felt more confident in a place and you can’t beat the honesty!

Update. See below for initial review. The CEO contacted me the next day, on a Saturday, after my review. He wanted to remedy the situation which was great to here from him so quickly. Went back in on my timeframe, got me in right away, and tires got rotated correctly. CEO is passionate about honesty and integrity of his company and wants things to be done right, not just make a buck.Dont know how to properly rotate tires on 4x4 truck with straight front axle even after telling them how to do it. Criss cross front to rear and bring rear straight forward. Tried saying my wiper blades are starting to show signs of wear but I just installed them a week ago. Highly DO NOT recommend taking your vehicle here.

1st time Ive ever been to this business, I will say, by far the fastest and most pleasant oil change Ive had. Everyone there is smiling and very welcoming. Took maybe 2 minutes, so it was faster then going through a fast food drive through. Perfection are its best, just wish 6 stars was a thing to give this business the props they deserve.

It was very busy, but the crew seemed calm and collected, I was there longer than I had hoped but like I said they were very busy.

Used to go to Walmart for my oil changes, but after they closed all their auto service centers I had to find somewhere else to go. Looked around for a bit and glad I found these guys. Theyre quick, efficient, polite, and easy on your wallet. I just wanted a simple oil change, no frills or extras, and thats exactly what I got. I was in and out in under 10 minutes and it cost me less than $40, without any hassle to buy anything more than what I wanted. Very pleased, Im coming here from now on.

I went in for a full service and not explain very well was told I had to get three different fluids changed for $100/each. Not happy about the pricing I asked them explain why it costs so much and what it was for... the guys were very rude and condescending and again did not explain it very well. So instead I spent $400 and still can’t tell you what they did. Let’s just say lots of people have seen my posts about my experience and have recommended 24 other places. Will not be returning

Efficient oil change this morning. Love that part. Manager berating employees harshly was bad enough, but in front of customers is inexcusable. Attempted to call owner to voice displeasure and got put on perma hold. You can be excellent in operations and fail miserably as a manager of talent. Take a chill pill, Mr. Service Manager. Teach and expect excellence, don’t badger employees. Not impressed with management style.

They damaged my friends car while she was getting it looked at then she goes back in and of course the General Manager denied that it didnt happen there but I know it did because I was there with her and her car was not damaged before it was brought in. Then the General Manager blames her for damaging her own car what kind of person accuses a customer of damaging their own care. I would avoid this place at all cost because now she will probably have to pay for the damages out of her own pocket. I have advised her to file a complaint with the FTC, BBB, and the Iowa Attorney General.

Had my sons car in for an oil change on 06/08/20. Car was not leaking before I went. Took the car to my mechanic today to have him look into an oil leak only to have him find that the drain plug is stripped/cross-threaded. The oil pan is aluminum and an oversized plug is not the fix so now we need to have the whole thing replaced! Talked to the manager on duty tonight and first said that well you know those things can just wear out and we have on video that our guys did nothing wrong and was unwilling to do anything. How can it just all of a sudden start leaking after the visit. Coincidence? I say no way. Too bad because although its convenient to swing by there before work in the morning, the money we are out now doesnt make it worthwhile. They just lost 3 vehicles worth of business.UPDATE: after receiving a call from the owner, they decided to contact my mechanic and after doing so LOF decided to pay for the replacement oil pan.

Always fast friendly and professional service from the technicians. Even though I’m a frequent flier with them, they always give me a heads up that my oil change will be a bit pricey (6.4 liter Hemi with full synthetic European) which I appreciate most places seem to prefer to spring it on you afterwards.

This place is amazing, I never changed my oil before, but today I had to. As I was overwhelmed with have to do this with both my kids in the car and not having a clue I took a chance and went here.
