All I can say is buyer beware. My automotive experience with service is crucial for return business. Word of mouth can make or break you. The MEDIA can eat you up. Ive been dealing with automotive services of all kinds since 1982. Way longer than they have been around. Take a look at their equipment that will give you an idea how they work on the backside.

I had a horrible experience with this company. My car had slid into a ditch. Not bad, two wheels still on the road. I called this company and did not ask for a price, because the REPUTABLE towing businesses generally charge around the same price to be pulled out of ditch/snow berms. Imagine my surprise to find out I had been charged 225.00 ! I called the company and spoke to a manager who told me that I had been quoted a price. I informed him that I had not and that I record my phone calls. So he quickly changed it to well my driver told you how much it was. Well, he didnt, because believe me, if Id know what I was going to be charged, I would have sent him on his way and called someone else! A When I called the company to try to work out a reasonable price, he was so insufferable and condescending! Never, never use this business!

It was a in and out situation. The front personal was friendly and helpful. I had no issues what so ever, which is a good thing. Getting to the business was the issue the side road has not ever being plotted, so if you have a car or van, you going to have a difficult time going through that side road. Unless you have a four wheel drive, if you dont, my advice is to find someone that has, to get you through that primitive road!

Tow truck driver in the area took advantage of my driver saw him stuck in the ditch. He asked my driver who will pay for it? “My boss”Did not tell him amount. Proceeded to pull my driver out and then called me and said $485.00 did not get approval from the boss before providing the service.Some shady way to run a business. I expect a call from the owner of 24/7 to make this right. Driver would not release my vehicle until paid, threatened to take to impound. 24/7 towing gave me THE WORST experience I’ve ever had with a tow company, and it was only a quarter-mile tow! First they scared me by saying the job was complete 30 minutes before they arrived, then they left my car unlocked with the keys in the door handle for anyone to walk by and steal. On top of that they left my car blocking my entire driveway so that I cant pull any other cars in. I asked them to fix the mistake and they refused to provide any kind of customer service!! They made a stressful situation much worse-Here’s what happened:I broke down on Friday evening as I was leaving town and my roadside assistance hired 24/7 Towing. I called the tow company to tell them where I left my key and was told the driver will be 45min-1hr and will call me when he is on the way. 1 1/2 hours later I haven’t received a call so I checked the status and they had marked the job completed 30 minutes ago, but my car was not at my house! Now I’m stressed because I’m supposed to be out of town already and I don’t know where my car is or the key! The driver called me back—I directed him to my house and asked him to leave the key on my porch. I thought that would be the end if it, but NO!!I got home an hour later with my rental car to find that the tow truck driver parked my car at the very end of my driveway. There are two full car lengths in front of it and a spot to the side that are completely blocked off and I cannot park my rental car or any other car in my driveway. I looked for the key where I asked him to leave it, but it wasn’t there! More stress!HE LEFT THE KEYS IN THE DOOR HANDLE, WITH THE DOORS UNLOCKED, SITTING AT THE END OF MY DRIVEWAY BLOCKING ALL MY PARKING SPACES!!!!I called the tow company to let them know what happened. I asked them to rectify the situation by coming back to move my car into my driveway so that I can park my rental car. The dispatcher had the nerve to say, “well the car isn’t running is it?” As if he was saying I shouldn’t need to access my driveway if my car was towed!! All the dispatcher did was defend the drivers poor service and tell me he would call the driver. I called again that night and again during the day shift. Each time I called, I was told that they can’t do anything right now, but I would be called back. I was also told they would need my insurance information in order to come back and fix their mistake. NO ONE EVER CALLED BACK. They did absolutely nothing so I ended up filing a formal complaint about them with my insurance company.

Absolutely horrible. called 3 times to get a quote to tow a car in Eagle River - was quoted 400 for a rollover car (insane), We received the final bill and it was $800. They did not give any reason to the 2x increase except the job was hard, WAS NOT told of an increase at the site, but after the fact.. Must have seen the military uniform and taken advantage. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE.

Do yourself a favor and push your vehicle home. Took over 3 hours for the truck to show, after hooking it up backwards, my car detached from the truck and was backwards in the middle of the road. After backing up and re-hooking, the the driver determines its front wheel drive, hooks up for the third time and delivers my car 3 blocks away. After paying, I realized my trunk was damaged and unable to open it. After 3 days of continued calls and empty promises to address the issue, I had to rip out the trunk latch. My car is 35 yrs old and had no dents, now it looks like a beater from behind. Soooooooo......... call that friend with 4x4 instead.

Im a local Contractor for Fedex ground and my driver was stuck on the hillside. We did not call for tow service. one of 24/7 tow guys saw my driver and without disclosing the cost asked who would pay if he pulled him out. My driver said my boss and then I get a phone call that said if you dont pay $485 we will take your van to the impoundMy driver still had packages to delivery. Bad service, bad way to do business. Tow guy took advantage of the situation. I am still waiting for this to be made right.

Absolutely horrible. My bother got stuck in a ditch and one of your workers HAPPENED to drive by and asked if he needed help. My brother said yes, and the driver did not mention a price at all. After being pulled out of the ditch, your worker then told me brother he need to pay, but was still not told a price. He handed his card over and only after it was declined did the driver tell him that he was getting charged 860 DOLLARS. This company advertises a price of 105 for a call plus mileage. With NO CALL (my brother did not ask for help) and NO MILAGE (he was not towed anywhere, just hoisted out of a ditch), your company seems they just make up a number to charge people. We have tried to talk to you multiple times to negotiate AT LEAST a partial refund but have gotten nowhere, and NON of your employees could tell us why he got changed so much. You seem to enjoy stealing from service men.NO ONE CALL HERE. THEY ARE A SCAM.

Way too high pricing! Not sure why apd uses this place but a whole 85 just to get out of the ditch! Just a simple 4 door sedan! Dont use this place for a tow!

Service was ok but the price changed like four times. For a simple pull and go. I dont know if its the drivers or the company thats money hungry. But Thats bad business either way.

I don’t normally leave reviews but I felt it necessary, I’m not sure of the fellas name but to the gentleman that drove out late night to get me out of a bind after hitting a god awful pot hole, thank you for your time and patience friend I’d recommend y’all to anybody.

I called them at 11:30pm to get a tire changed because my tire was flat. The driver said he would be there in an hour. I waited an hour then attempted to call back I got the dispatch and they said the driver would call. I waited another hour and called back the dispatch said the same thing. Waited 45 minutes and no driver showed. I attempted to call back but instead of answering they pickup and hang up the phone. If they didn’t want my service they should have just said so instead of making me wait 3 1/2 hours for driver that never showed up.

I was quoted a 30-45 minute wait time and a price ($130). Both turned out to be not anywhere near what the end wait time/cost was (90 min, $175) and the driver was rude and reckless. Management doesn’t care enough to call me back. If you find yourself needing this companies’ services, do yourself a favor, and walk home.

Called 24/7 towing for a tow late in the afternoon and they pulled through and had a driver respond in under 1 hr. The driver, Branislav we very helpful and patient with the whole situation. So, I shipped a car in mid Winter with racing tires on my car, and the car is not drivable on any snow or ice. He was able to get the car on the rollback and on the road in the matter of minutes. I can tell you he is safe on his recovery operations and would highly recommend him and the company. I would think that towing/recovery is competitive in Anchorage, and reliability is important. And these guys are!!! 5 Stars👍

I slid off the highway one night on the way home to Anchorage and wound up buried in between the north and southbound lanes . I called 24/7 Towing and they were there in about an hour. The guy was really good at his job and he got me out just fine, winched the car up on the flatbed and took me home. I have no complaints about the service. The thing is, after he pulled me out and still had me hooked up to his chain is when he demanded I pay the $425.00 service fee before he would a.) unchain my caror b.) tow me safely off the highway and home. Now I understand why the need to make sure that payment is made before the service is given, because Im sure theyve been burned before. Notice I said before. But he only told me the high cost of the service AFTER hed already hauled out. He never gave me the opportunity to make another call and choose another towing company, maybe one that I could afford or at least talk to somebody and arrange it. No, he simply winched my car out of the snow and up onto his truck and THEN informed me of the amount I owed and told me to pay up, or he would take my car to the impound lot, and I would be stranded. This happens more than you would think, apparently! Talk about highway robbery...WOW!

Spoke with the manager two three days ago about his driver and what all went wrong and he has not gotten back to me. Or has not let me know whats going on. The driver was even in an accident that morning. Just over all bad experience and it has plenty of room for improvement. Had they gotten back and had better communication Im sure things would be smoother

No Showed & Untimely Service1st truck dispatched at 4pm ..... no showed & wouldn’t answer his phone.... asked to wait another 30 min. Told the dispatcher the auto shop closes at 6 pm. “No problem we have time” After another 30 minutes still no show & driver didn’t answer his phone again!2nd driver dispatched with eta 20 - 30 min. .... 75 min wait! Driver called twice for arrival updates ... Driver stated location & flat lied about where he was because it doesn’t take 35 min to drive 1 block!!!Auto shop closed at 6 pm..... loading my truck at 6:20pm!!!Only 10 degrees outside!My doctors office stayed open 40 min after hours to keep me warm & safe!Along with the Tudor Auto shop who stayed 45min after hours until I arrived!I could have froze & had no where to go with my truck if these businesses didn’t go above & beyond!

Took 3 hrs to get there. Charged $550 to tow me 100 feet.

This guys are on time when I called them, employees are respectful and very helpful keep up the good job!

I was at Dimond Costco getting my tires filled, one of their trucks pulled up to tow the car parked next to me. I rolled my window down to ask it if was OK if I backed out. The tow truck driver said “yeah baby, go ahead and pull out.” The driver of the vehicle being towed smiled knowingly. I said, “don’t call me baby.” He annoyedly said “you don’t want me to call you baby? What should I call you then?” I said, “you don’t know me, it’s not appropriate.” It was unprofessional. If I ever need roadside assistance I will call not them.

Affordable, kind and helpful staff. I am grateful for 24/7 Alaskas services lastnight. I was stressed out when my vehicle hit an ice patch and ran off the road and 24/7 had a tow truck on the scene in less then the time I was quoted (35 minutes) as I was way up the hillside and in a ditch. My vehicle was well taken care of as it was pulled out. I recommend them to anyone. Thank you very much 24/7 Alaska Towing.

I came out from dinner to find my car had been towed. This company had received a call for a tow of a 2015 red passat, I own a 2004 silver passat. The only reason I found out where my car was is through my own searching. They had dropped my car off in another parking lot on the other side of town when they realized it was the wrong car. After reaching out to them to make it right, I wanted them to pay for a diagnostic to make sure no damage was done when they dragged my 4wd car out, they blew me off. Calling for 2 weeks, the dispatch guy got on the phone with me and laughed at my request. He told me he thought the whole thing was funny. Never did this company apologize for illegally towing my car and hoped I would go away quietly. Hope you own the only car of its kind because they certainly dont check license plated before they tow. And btw, I have never written a bad review in my life. People just should know how bad this company is.

Quick, friendly, and reasonably priced. Driver showed up quickly and was kind, no bs and got my stupid car off the highway quickly. We were not in a good spot and I was very happy with their service and relived to have it out of the damn road.

Called about a flat tire. Was told they would arrive to my location in 30 minutes. Called back after they had not arrived an hour later and they said the truck they sent was flagged down by someone else along the way... I called so I should have been given priority or at least notified they would be late. Will never use again. Would not recommend.

Do not go with these guys. The officer that responded to the accident called them. He said theyll hold onto the car till I pay, then theyll tow it wherever I need them to. I called them to pay on the same day it was towed. They said Id have to call on Monday. So I did that and it was $120 which I was too high already. So I said Id wait till Friday. Then I just called them and they said itll be 270 plus another 60 to tow it somewhere else. They broke down the price for me and they were charging me for holding onto my car per day. Which they didnt tell me theyd do. This place is NOT a good towing company.

Thank you guys for doing a great job. Goog and helpfull team. Used them multiple times and they were great. Sometimes would take longer then expected, but it is understandable when considered the weather, size of the truck and the all the circumstances they have to tow the cars.

Didnt go to voicemail and no hold time to speak with someone . Every company I called which was at least 7 tow companies here in town . They had the best price which was $65 cash or $70 credit card and speedy service. He was there in 20 mins. Most places charged $75^ plus $ per mile and a fee for no key. Mice guys and quick quality service.

Got my car stuck in a very tricky steep beyond icy ditch up on hillside... would have went off a cliff if I didnt get caught by a little bushel of trees... seriously a work of art pulling my car out. Very careful, and very skilled. Wouldnt suggest calling anyone else.

I personally havent used them but did call them to report a very dangerous incident in a construction zone. The driver that was hauling a big load speed up to cut off a line of people slowing Down and merging. He pushed a car off the road that was in front of the line. I called he number and Im guessing the owner answered and he said he would call the driver. 5 minutes later the driver called us and told me to learn to drive and S his D mother Fer! Then hung up. I tried to call the company back and they screeched the phone and hung up. One of the most unprofessional things I have ever witnessed. I wish there were negotiable stars... wow

This place is the worst and I would not recommend them. They charge you outrageous prices. This guy named mike I tried to speak with him on the phone about my car and he just hung up on me. Don’t call them. They stole my spare tire and I believe they switched out my battery, because he was really surprised when my car started. They charged me $180 to clean up the accident but they didn’t clean up anything.

Yeah please for the love of god dont use these guys. I called today and was initially told it would be about 1 1/2 hours. Called for an update at that point and was told one additional hour. Then called 2 hours later just to have them hang up on me repeatedly. PLEASE do not use this company. There is no flat rate, the whole business is a sham at best. Id give them a 0 star if google would let me.

Hey, its CHEAP and I know you all like cheap. Its the cheapest tow so far in Anchorage. Everyone charges $75 cash or $80 on card and more in Anchorage but 24/7 Towing charged me $60 cash or $65 on card. 1hr wait time like everyone else I called 9 different places here in Anchorage.

They were really busy when i called them but, they were still able to promptly send a tow truck with a competent and friendly driver in a reasonable amount time.

I can tell you under NO CIRCUMSTANCES would I EVER recommend 24/7 Towing after having waited 7.5 hours the Sunday before this past, for a truck to be towed where they continued to tell my insurance they had a driver right around the corner from me. Meanwhile, I was broken down at the beginning of the Turnagain Pass with 7 children ranging from 10 months to 10 years and a camper in 78° weather; blown transmission on the truck.Needless to say, my insurance had a different tow company tow the truck back to my house after I had sat there for 5.5 hours with their continued excuses. I was pulling up to my house after my husband came to get us and my bestfriends Mom drove from Big Lake to get my camper, when the driver called asking for my exact location for towing. The other company had already picked up the truck at this point. Initial contact was made just after 2pm, their driver called me back at 9:20pm.

The rate for a nonconsensual impound at $225, requires tow operators to take a photo of a vehicle before it is towed.They cant show me a picture before they towed my vehicle and they charged me $340.Only had my vehicle in their lot for about 6 hours.

Me and family who owed car dealers business used this company for few years and they were great,but 2 months ago the business was sold to different owners and everything went downhill.From flat rate or $60 of towing they went up to $280.There is no prices listed on the website and past clients use to paying one price are getting charged double and triple and when you call to discuss the situation with them they are rude and ignorant on the phone.Its very sad that this business will go down.The original owner was so nice and polite and made every customer happy,developed a business that was blossomin and now with new dispatch employees and new management and owners things are going down hill.Its ok to not know how to run business, but its not OK to rip people off and be arogant about it as well.Sadly will not be using them any longer.If owner reads this,my suggestion is train your people to give good customer service and be clear about the charges upfront,dont surprise them at the end.

Called them at 11am, and they told me its a 1 to 2 hours waiting. Then I asked for the price, the lady told me $100 for towing. Speechless. Most of the towing places appointments are already packed or longer waiting. So I agreed on their service and I had to reschdule my doctors appointment. 2 hours later, theyre still not here. Called them again and they told me one of the guy is around my area and he will be here 30-45 mins. 45 mins later, theyre still not here! And the auto shop I need to take my vehicle to was almost close. Basically, they just wasted my whole time and other important things. So I cancel it. Worst towing services ever, Ill never call them again.

Got several calls from their driver, I told them I didnt call them and to stop calling so he cursed me out. I called their office and the office called me stupid because they took down the wrong number. Dont do business with these kinds of people. They are neither professional nor have any idea how to do business respectfully.

Have used twice now and both times they were 3-4 hours late and when i call the dispatcher its always there on their way or they will be right there. The last time i had to call vulcan towing because my truck was sitting in the road with my 3 kids for 3 hours....they told me 30-45 min wait. DONT USE THEM!!!
