So this is my new nail place! I have a standing appointment with V.V is amazing. Shes friendly, she works SUPER hard, and shes meticulous. I walk in with pictures of nails from Pinterest and I get them (barring tools like stamps that they dont have). Even then, V goes out of her way to hand paint stamped/press on designs that I like. I am incredibly happy with her skills as a nail technician. Shes gentle on my very dry cuticles and in the 4 acrylic sets Ive gotten, Ive lost 1 nail.This is also a family owned business. I never went before the management change, but they are all very welcoming. V works with her mom and cousin. The cousin does admin and her mom helps out with nails then they have any overlap. Theyre wholesome and locally owned. Im excited to support their business!

Great work but they said one price and charged like an extra 40$ more than they originally said didn’t even get extra done just a basic nail and paint no art design

I called them for a full set and was able to get in last min appt. This is the first time i ever left an review. Went in for my birthday today (11/05) and Vee was the one that did my nails. She definitely took her time and did a beautiful job on my nails. I cant stop looking at my nails 😍. I am definitely going to go back to her! She’s so nice and the place was clean!

Loved the work. After my first time going and how my nails came out, loved it so much had to go back and i was satisfied just as much as the first time.

Went in for a manicure today and had the most wonderful experience! V was so delightful and she really did a great job cleaning my nail beds up. My favorite part was the hand massage! Loved this place

I really loved this place and the fact that my fingers were not all cut up after was unbelievable. My nails lasted a good amount of time and the girl who did my nails was considerate and was good at holding a conversation. The people here are so nice and hard working and I really appreciate that they took the time to do my nails the right way.

Hollywood Nails is under new management and they are fantastic! V squeezed me in for a quick shellac change and she was SO fast and they turned out great! Perfectly smooth and precise edges around the cuticles. Great price too. I will definitely be back. Would highly recommend. I’ve tried other nail salons in Anchorage and this is by far the best one I’ve been to.

Between Anchorage, the valley, and Fairbanks, V @Hollywood Nails has Been the only nail tech to NOT argue with me about wanting long stilettos. She is easy to describe exactly what you want. V has NEVER disappointed me and Ive referred many friends her way. I literally brag about V being my nail tech, thats how much I love her!Ive never ran into a scheduling problem and she is usually ready for an appointment within 30 min AT MOST of me calling.I will probably never go anywhere else.Thank you V!! 💞

The new management is great! Vicky got me in for a pedicure right away and she gives a nice foot massage too. Very friendly, fun to talk to, and she did a great job. Looking forward to going there again.

I didn’t get her name but it was my first time going and getting gels done! I clean houses so they help my nails not peal from the chemicals and hard scraping I do. The day after I had a big cleaning and not one chip!! She did an amazing, fast and awesome job!! I found my new place to get gels!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ive gone to Hollywood nails for years and Ive never been unhappy. I will say the husband does the best work. He is always very careful when filling my nails so they are never sore. I went in once and he was busy with anther client and I couldnt wait so I went back the next day and remembered me and apologized and gave me a discount. I dont go as often as I used to but he always remembers by name I will never go anywhere else to get my nails done. As for the kiddos there it is a family business so get over it . Its a family business and Ive always been treated like family and he doesnt take forever to get my nails done where other places take an hour or longer. They have a great selection of nails the conversation is always wonderful. So please if one of the owners read the bad reviews dont take them to heart you guys are wonderful and you definitely have a loyal customer base. God bless you and your beautiful family

My natural nails were strong and healthy. I just needed a polish change and shape. Nail files are not new with every client. That should have been my sign to walk away, but i thought it would be no big deal. She was rough on my nails choosing to file off parts of the gel polish instead of soaking/rubbing. Ive had my nails done several times and never had it filed off prior to this. She applied no base coat to my gel, just went right to putting the white french in, and 2 cover costs. VERY THIN. Less than 24 hours later and 2 of my nails have broken in spots where she filed off polish.It cost 45 to have my nails destroyed.

Ive been going to Hollywood Nails for 3 years. Thao and Jimmy are great. Yes, they often times have the kiddos at the salon, but they are exceptionally well behaved and really pretty cute. Jimmy does my nails and I dont even have to tell him what I want, he just does it perfectly. They last a long time and hes fast. I get my nails done on my hour long lunch break! They remember who you are and will even say hi if they see you in public. I quit getting my nails done for a year and a half because I had a new baby and just didnt have the time. When I went back (not expecting them to know me) they greeted me warmly and asked about my baby! Ive never left dissatisfied!

Best place to get eyelash extensions! As well as best manicures and pedicures in Alaska. Recently got eyebrows tattoo and Thao did excellent by listening to my fears about it and the results are amazing! Love the natural look and my confidence skyrocket! Been going to this place for about 18 years.Love Hollywood nails! Love Thao!

My experience was great but the gems were off the next day

This was like the 2nd nail shop I went to since Ive been here... and its as close as Ive gotten in the lower 48. After a while, I tried to venture out to other nail shops that had higher ratings and even ones with not so high ratings, and I just ended up right back here. I gave it 5 because like I said, its the closest that Ill get to the states, the guy is really good (hes the only one whos done my nails), and their customer service is good. He remembers everyone that comes. It really doesnt bother me that they bring their kids, lol what does that have to do with how they do nails?! I bring mine sometimes, so I dont care.

1st of all im from CA and i have gotten my eyebrows done since i was a young girl... i have gone to MANY place in town to get them waxed and have had HORRIBLE experiances!!! everyone left them looking worse then b4! My girlfriend told me to see Thao.... shes AMAZING! finally someone who knows what there doing! she trims them and arches them just like they used to back home :) YAY!Thanks hollywood nails!
