Great place for mens pedicures. NFL on TV, AWESOME massaging chairs, and great attention to detail. I feel like a million bucks

Very disappointed and dissatisfied with the services provided by this establishment. The technician I was originally placed was rough and unsanitary. She was wearing the same gloves between each of her clients. Additionally, I observed that the same utensils being used on myself were also used on another party sitting directly adjacent to me.If sanitation weren’t enough of a pressing issue, I would say their customer service skills were subpar. As clients entered asking for availability no one was addressed or acknowledged. At the same time, regular clients without appointments, whom had been there frequently were addressed kindly and asked to sit down for treatment immediately.I unfortunately do not have a photo to post of the end product as I immediately went to another salon to have my gel manicure removed.Please take the time to review this establishments reviews regarding sanitation, product quality, and ‘new client’ satisfaction.

My friend and I had acrylic nails done elsewhere and were just looking to get the removed and stopped by here since we were already at the mall. They proceeded to forcefully remove the nails we had on using clipper and fake tips to peel the acrylics off. This was super painful and unprofessional I was just shocked. They only used the grinder and acetone soak once we asked them to and commented that it would’ve taken hours. At the end of this, my nails were super thin and weak. I do not recommend this business for this unprofessional practice.

So, I came in about 3 days ago. Great experience, friendly staff. Overall, I enjoyed the experience. I got a pedicure and I got acrylics put on. Only gripe I have is they didn’t cover my whole nail in acrylic… like it looks like I’ve had this set on for at least a week but it’s only been a couple of days, therefore I’ll have to get them filled far sooner :/ slightly disappointing.

Great place!! Came in to get eyebrow/lip waxing done and Nancy was awesome!! She took her time to do a completely thorough wax, I just ❤ how it turned out!! Not to mention no wait time I was in and out in a matter of minutes if youre looking to get your nails done or waxing and other spa services I highly recommend you give this place a try you wont regret it!! Im so glad I stopped by and I will continue to come here Im very satisfied 😊😁👍

These guys will nickel and dime you to death. Everything is an extra charge! I basically paid 40.00 to get my nails painted. No scrubbing., no massage and extra 5.00 for two colors.

Every visit Ive paid to Cali Nails has been excellent in every way. I always feel pampered and love my results. They currently have excellent covid safety measures in place and beyond that, its just an awesome experience. Dont hesitate to make an appointment or walk right in. You wontbe disappointed!

I was here with a friend. They took care of her right away. She had a mani - pedi. They offer to do both at the same time or if she wanted them done separately. Due to I was going to be waiting she asked to have them done at the same time. From what I saw they gave her the same care and time of each service as if she had them done separately. This may be updated after shes done.

I went to wax my eyebrows and upper lip because it’s my birthday and I have dinner at a Simon and seaforts tonight we’ll the woman who waxed me ripped skin off of my lip, it looks awful. I called when I got home and saw how it looked and the response I got was I have sensitive skin and I should go to Walmart and buy aloe 😒 really... you tore skin from my lip and that’s the only response no apology or anything. Just disappointed completely because this is the first time I’ve done anything special for my birthday and now I have to go looking like this.

Came in 5 days before my wedding to get both a manicure and a pedicure, had to get both redone the day before my wedding. It’s worth to pay more to get quality service! Most definitely don’t plan to come in again!

BEWARE! They do NOT give refunds or partial refunds if they mess up!Me and my sister went for a girls day at the mall. They split our party up, I waited an hour and a half to be seen because only one person can do dip nails? Then my sisters were having poor service, they were pulling on their arms, digging into their nails harsh, and one of them almost forgot to put a top coat on their nails.My experience, the lady didnt even really talk to me for one. I was told they couldnt do what I wanted but by that point I was annoyed with my sisters experience so I just picked a cute color, whatever. And she dipped my nails in the powder (a common technique) but its not anti-COVID!! Who knows how many fingers have been in that powder?!?! My nails cost average for dip nails. My sisters somehow went from 35 to 60 because “length” (they were the shortest she ever gotten them) and “design” (she had an accent nail color). HOWEVER!!! Not even a week after they broke!!! I was typing on a computer and it just snapped. My sisters broke a few days before mine and all she did was clean her house!Tl;DR: Poor quality, dip technique not sanitary at this time, and broke within a week. Would not recommend and I am never going here again!

Went here to get gel acrylic nails and pedicure for my vacation trip my nails turned out completely different shape then I wanted and I showed her a picture 3 times. When I told her I was not happy with the shape she said they are the same as pictures and I said no they where not she did not listen to me and fished by painting them my nails where huge squares and to long when I wanted thin and short naturally looking nails. My gel polish on my toes where so splotchy when applied they had to redo them. When I came back to get my nails off the lady ripped my nails off with another fake nail sliding it under my acrylics to rip them off. When I complained she said this is how we do them here when normally nails are removed it is not painful !! She ripped them off so hard it bruised one of my fingers under my normal nail and my natural nails are absolutely ruined I would give no stars if I could the girl I got was absolutely unprofessional and not listening to me at all.

Nails were very poor quality. They fell off after a week and the nail polish started to chip after 2 days. My cuticles were not pushed down and by 3 days it looked like I had 2 weeks of growth. After a certain amount of days, apparently, they cannot help you. Will not be going back anytime soon.

Nice polite staff. I came late i asked if we had time for a dull set. I was told yes but it was rushed. I get the powder dip nails, they work on my fingers. I must say i paid 70 which is ok but not for the service. Staff is great oh and today sunday my nail broke. Has not even been 24 hours. Disappointed.

I went there before my flight to get my face wax and the lady done messed up my face. I had a bad reaction my face was all red and my skin peeled off. I don’t have any allergies I’ve been getting my face wax for a while and that was the first time that ever happen to me. It was so painful I cried because I was suppose to catch a flight and then my face got worse lucky I wore a mask. The next day I woke up and it looks all ugly it was the most worst experience esp going on a vacation with a bad face.

Thought I’d try a new salon after several years at another place and WOW, was pleased! Received great customer service and was super pleased - getting the BEST pedicure I’ve gotten in 8 years! Thanks for the great service and care.

I am usually not the one to leave reviews. But today was the day. I came here because I got my nails done a week ago. And I was not happy Got my nails done at Today nails. Had to come back to Cali nail. Ann was amazing she saw my nails. And came to my rescue she fixed my shape and really took her time to make sure the shape was right. I Love her detail work. Thats whatWhy paying a little extra goes a long way.

This was one of the best experiences I have ever had at a nail salon. A whole new designed location. Oh my goodness the chairs!! Love love love. The staff was really kind and attentive. I am definitely coming back! I love to support family businesses.

Previously Ive had some terrible experiences at this nail salon. Today I went in on a whim and I had one of the greatest experiences ever she was a little rough when filing my nails at the end but overall great product her name was Rose and I would recommend her to anyone.

Got a pedicure here seriously the best ive ever had In my life... they massaged my legs for like thirty minutes ...wonderful paint job I got gel . Very very happy with them worth every dollar. I would recommend them too everyone

Charged for gel but received acrylic! Dishonesty one star. They dont look natural either. Messy around the edges. Be sure they give you what you asked for.Acrylic nails are a combination of a liquid monomer and a powder polymer (what I received). They create a hard protective layer over your natural nails. The product hardens as it is exposed to the air. Acrylic is transparent. A nail polish is added after.Gels are brushed onto your nails in three steps : a base coat, polish color and top coat. Each coat has to be cured (hardened) in an UV light for two to three minutes.

They were so kind and genuine towards me and my sister💖 they offered water before anything and asked if we needed more and they made sure that we liked how they did ours nails and we will be coming here more often😍🥰

I came here to spend time with my best friend who flew in front Georgia. The front desk clearly states a full set is 35$, however as I was sitting at the nail techs station, explained and showed photos of what I wanted, and she’s already drilled my nail bed, and applied tips. Which is fine. Until she then tells me that it will cost 55$. That is not the same as 35. They need to tell customers before they start that long nails, them being painted, and a shape change all cost more. I then had to sit and remove my tips that were applied instead of them removing them because they made a mistake by neglecting to share information regarding “add ons”. The only time I have ever been charged “extra” was when I wanted a different shape; I’ve never been charged for length, them being painted and basic things that should be calculated into the price beforehand. Genuinely not a good experience in the slightest.

Spa like experience, Always excellent work and friendly staff. Just got a pedi, mani, facial and brow wax!. I have used them for a couple years and have always been happy. Located on the second floor of the dimond mall, bear the ice rink. Best in Anchorage IMHO, Ive tried bunches and always come back to Cali.

The service here sucks. Today they told me they would start right away but I waited 30 min till I got my nails done. Almost every time I am here I have to wait for over 30 min. If I’m with a friend they get there nails done before I eveb start so we end up waiting for each other. One time the lady didn’t know what she was doing so she charged my friend twice and it was on a debit card so she had to call her bank to get her money back.

Soooo rushed! And so rough on my nails.. Even after explaining that I have never had my nails done before he seemed very annoyed with me when I didnt know what to do (example, coming over to the nail dryer and shoving my hands closer to the fan..) Would NOT recommend to anyone.

Received very bad service today 12/13/18 from the manager himself. Upon arriving wrote my name and he was sitting at the first row asking me what i want. Told him Im returning from past Saturday to fix my color already fading away. I sat down along with others waiting for services. About 10 to 15 minutes later a Caucasian lady and daughter approached the counter and the manager got up and walked to the counter, showed her where to sign and told her it will be a few minutes wait. It sure was only a few minutes and he showed her to the back for services. I looked at him while walking back to his station and i said whats going on, i was here first. He said i know I was there first just like the lady next to you was there before you. I said she needs service just like me, his comment was I know but im taking care my customer first. Wow!. This is bad customer service. I showed him my receipt of $85.00 from Saturday and that doesnt even bother him. I dont like this place. He said because im there to complain so i had to wait. Wow.

My sister, daughter and I went for mani/pedi last month. Best pedi we have ever received. Very thorough, attentive and enjoyable. Was not rushed through. Totally pleasant experience. Will be back and highly recommend.

I have hard feet and I didnt have pedicure for a long time. But the guy there was patient with that and gave my feet the justice it deserved lol

Burned my eyes with wax. Took a full week to start healing and appear normal.

Showed them a picture of what I wanted and it was the completely different from what the picture looked like and it looked so bad. Also, my nail broke the first day of having them. Dont go there! Horrible service!

They did such a shity job my friend got three things done and she was done before me I got gel acrylics and they were pretty shity as it was they were very sloppy and a little crooked I asked for a coffin nail shape $5 extra yet one hand was square and the other hand was semi coffin 10/10 would not reamend and never going back also

If you want to be rushed go here. I went in and wanted a full set and a pedi. I sat in a chair getting my nails done and to save time they wanted to do my pedi at the nail station. They mainly talked back and forth in their language. The full set wasnt bad, the pedi was HORRIBLE. It all took less then an hour. Rush rush rush enjoy.

Awful job, got paint all over my toes instead of my toe nails and didn’t clean it up. They also made my acrylics crooked and didn’t do the desired nail look after I requested it multiple times.

I hated this place. This last time i just went, the lady screwed up my eyebrows. Clearly if you cant do eyebrows, you shouldnt try to. Stick to what you know, and not to mention they dont notify their customers that they dont accept debit. Shitty people, and shitty service.
