Chaz Limited said my truck would be finished in 10 days. My accident was on the 4th of July. Chaz limited gave my truck back on September 16th. The truck was still not fixed. Still not detailed. Had 500 extra miles on it, with an empty gas tank. My insurance stopped paying on my rental car because Chaz Limited took SO F-ING LONG!!! Chaz blamed everyone else but them selves, they took ZERO responsibility! The vice president, cece has no integrity, shes on a power trip and a LIAR!!! (She did however manage to express her hatred and disbelief in God. SCREAMING, I dont believe in Jesus!). After the branch manager of Enterprise Car Rental on 5th Ave. Anchorage got involved, she heard the details. Gaby got on the phone with my insurance to HELP! NOT TO BE NASTY, BUT TO HELP! She was greeted with unprofessional rude behavior. Gaby with Enterprise told me that she was treated poorly and didnt want me to experience any more grief! She told me that the money owed to Enterprise due to Chaz Limited, taking so long thus driving up my rental car fee. This fee was FORGIVEN!!!I have already spoke with MANY people who have agreed to use Enterprise Car Rental due to how kind I was treated!!! They went above and beyond. Exceptional service from this Enterprise location. This office worked with me while experiencing travel and logistical challenges while en route (to include a three day delay). Hunter was understanding, courteous and very professional. He had a car for me and provided me options, which resulted in me upgrading! Overall it was a smooth process and great customer experience!
Could not have gone better. After reading about shortages this summer in AK for rental cars we were nervous our car would be here when we were. Not only was it ready and waiting but delightful staff to work with. Thanks for a very non stressful experience !
Very friendly crew who genuinely want to please. Of course, they try to sell you the sink but cant blame them for that; we live in a capitalist society. These guys are very helpful and the car I rented in Anchorage Alaska performed great. Ill definitely rent from them again recommend to anyone.
The employee who processed me was courteous, friendly, & efficient. I dont know if this is a common problem, but this Enterprise was out of small lower-priced cars and I had to rent a larger vehicle that cost more. Still, the shop has just called me and said that my car will be ready in an hour, so its not as bad as it could have been. The car I rented is a late model, immaculate, and I had no problem with it at all.
I cant say enough about Ashley who went out of her way to ensure we have the vehicle we needed for our vacation. I had requested a full size SUV for our two weeks in Alaska. Our flight was running late, and when I called to inform them we were running behind, I was told we may not have an SUV to fit everyone and may have to have two cars instead. With the current rental shortages, I understand these things happen, but was disappointed for sure. Upon arrival, Ashley had secured our Tahoe for us and it was clean and ready to go.Thank you Ashley, and everyone involved, for working hard to meet your customers needs! It didnt go unappreciated!!

Anytime we have needed a rental we have used this Enterprise. They have always been kind and helpful. They go above and beyond to help. We were in a really stressful situation with our last rental and the insurance company, due to the auto shop taking a way longer than they said they would to repair the car. And Enterprise helped us out.

Call before you head in, even if you have an online confirmation. The staff at the location was helpful and polite, but I reserved a pickup truck online just to drive in and find out they have zero pickup trucks in inventory, and that they are all at the body shop. While I’m completely aware and understanding that things happen, your inventory should reflect what’s available to rent, and the whole experience was a complete waste of time.
Ive rented here from the Downtown Anchorage location many times over the years. Always get a great ride but even better are the staff members. Always a great experience and the people are everything. A smooth check in and return experience. Less expensive generally than the airport.

The car was clean and on time. However, due to enterprise policy it didnt have snow tires on, so driving it was nerve wracking. Enterprise should at least offer snow tires as an option in the interest of public safety.

My vehicle broke down & I had a last minute need for a rental when I was visiting Anchorage. Enterprise is my go-to rental agency because I have always been able to count on easy pickup and drop-off & exemplary customer service. This experience was on par with my expectations...I easily found an available vehicle, the agent did a thorough pre-operational inspection to ensure it fit my needs & that we were on the same page, wear & tear-wise, and it was a breeze to extend the rental when the need arose. I would recommend Enterprise to anyone wanting a quality experience, and I would recommend this local Enterprise to anyone in need and visiting Anchorage.

I just wanted to take the time to say ms.brenda is the best. She always comes to get coffee from our chevron and always talking good about her company. I will always come to enterprise just because of her passion for the job.
The truck was fantastic. My father who is almost 85 had no problems getting in and out. We had a semitrailer jackknifed in front of us on our way to a bus trip in Denali. The police officer told us we could go around on a closed road. A small car would have never made it.
The agent that brought the car to me was awesome. Excellent customer service skills and very knowledgeable. He the reason I’m putting 4 stars on here. As for the vehicle itself...... I felt like I got what ever was left over in the fleet. The car that no one uses that’s 10 rows deep in the back. Cigarette burn stains on roof, car smelt like it wasn’t cleaned though it was vacuumed, etc. I had to add fresheners to it. This vehicle is one of my top 5 worst vehicles and I rent on average 7-10 times a year.
We are currently in a rental from this location due to a car crash. The entire office staff has been fantastic. We were referred on a Sunday morning. Without delay we were greeted, offered a walk through their fleet to choose a vehicle and contracted on the road within minutes. Their smiles, kindnesses and recognition of the disruption of life were extremely comforting.Trust this location for value, safety and professionalism.
The staff were professional and kind. All employees wore a mask because of COVID. They also had marks on the ground to keep a distance of 6 ft between clients. Pick-up and drop-off went smoothly.
Be sure that the agent does an actual walk thru of the vehicle with you so you dont get blamed for the damages the person before you did to the vehicle!!

I really like Enterprise Rent-A-Car, and have had excellent experiences with the company over the years. However, 10 days ago, I was t-boned in a hit-and-run accident. My car was totaled, and I needed a vehicle ASAP. I rented a small SUV from Enterprise. I was probably still in shock from the experience, and they most likely told me that pets (dogs) were not allowed to be in the rental vehicle. I had to take my dog with me to work one day, and left him in the vehicle. Before returning the vehicle, I removed as much dog hair as possible. Unfortunately, it was not enough to pass inspection, and I was offered the option of taking the vehicle somewhere to professionally vacuum the interior, or forfeit my $200 deposit. I reluctantly forfeited my deposit, as I needed to return to work. I will continue to rent periodically from Enterprise, but this most recent experience gives me pause. But I will definitely not be renting from Enterprise when I have an emergent need.
Enterprise is definitely not the cheapest option. I’m fact, they were the most expensive, in this case. But you definitely get what you pay for! I booked my reservation, for a very difficult trip to Alaska...Funeral for my uncle and spreading the ashes of both my parents, who I had just recently lost, a few months apart. The girl who placed my reservation was so sweet and caring. You could tell that she genuinely cared about me, as a customer. Pick-up and drop-off were a breeze, office staff were friendly & helpful, my rental car was clean & in good working order and there was no “fine print” or extra hidden fees. Having a positive, no-hassle, rental experience was definitely worth the extra money!
My rental term went seamless! The representative that was assigned to me was very helpful and I liked the electronic inspection off of the iPad. The experience was great. I would recommend enterprise rentals to any of my friends
Professional and service oriented outfit. I had to accept a vehicle that I didnt want at first because of heavy volume, but was placed in my vehicle of choice at the first opportunity. All transactions have been smoothly and professionally handled. My only complaint is the high cost of the rental. Im on a business trip and had to get special permission from my employer to accept the high charges. $2,600 per month for a rental is a bit steep!
We are stranded at the rahmada in downtown Ankorage waiting for our rental car reseved weeks ago. People on the phone here are very non resposive and dont seem to know what is going on.. we have used enterprise in the lower 48 many tines with great experience. Would suspect it as local thing. Just warning others. You may want to use another agency in Ankorage.

His assistance was pretty typical for our experiences at Enterprise: every time and every where we rent, people are friendly and helpful. We wont rent anywhere else!

My rental experience was exceptional until I was told pick up/drop off service was unavailable on Sundays. There were no other customers and at least 3 employees in the office. But per corporate policy transportation is not provided on Sunday. I wish this would have been communicated to me before I extended my rental one extra day. As a loyal customer of Enterprise, Im disappointed with the customer service provided at this location and would consider renting from someone else next time.Update: I was contacted by the manager of the store within hours of submitting feedback via the Enterprise website. A full refund was provided as compensation for my experience. I was told there is no such corporate policy regarding transportation and a better customer service experience should have been provided. I appreciate the timely response from manager Shak and the manner in which my concerns were handled.
Worst car rental experience I’ve ever gone to. Do not rent from this location. Unless you want a dirty car rental and feel belittled. They come up with so many excuses and they’re ‘sooo busyyy’ at this location. Ugh. Rent elsewhere, you will thank this review later.

My sister and I flew into Anchorage from Oklahoma City for the first time for a quick work event. Neither of us have ever been close to Alaska. Once the event was over we had 24 hours to see as much as we could but needed a car. Neither of us owns a credit card and Enterprise worked with us using a debit card that had a reasonable deposit. Other car rental places wanted a $500 deposit. We were so excited to drive the Turnagain Arm and see the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, Kincaid Park and get around Anchorage before we left. Windshield was dirty on the inside was not cleaned for months. Front tires were at the wear bars should of been replaced before renting the car.
We worked with Tommy Hopp and Nick Abernathy at this location, and they were awesome! They were so accommodating to our needs and so helpful. We were kind of in a bind due to our late flight and we needed to keep our rental truck for a longer period of time than we had planned, and they helped us out tremendously! I cant recommend them enough! You will not be disappointed. Ask for Tommy or Nick!
There was a miscommunication about a drop fee because There shouldnt have been the charge since I was an insurance customer and had called to let them know that I was going to drop it off at a different location but the fee was refunded. Everything else about the transaction was easy and painless.

I have used Enterprise in Anchorage, Orlando and even overseas in England and the staff is always friendly, informed and helpful.
Cant give more than 5 stars unfortunately. The branch manager heard from the front desk the reason I was getting a rental was because my car is in the shop for a week plus. Given that my wife is due in the near future, the cost of a rental car during the summer was not something I needed on top of everything else. Without getting into too much detail, they ended up setting us up with something that was beyond generous. The rest of the staff went above and beyond to make an already stressful day a little more tolerable.In my books, this not only makes this an awesome establishmemt, but the manager and staff genuinely awesome people. Thanks guys!!!! Highly recommend.
Ive always had good service but this was above and beyond. Their manager Quandy contacted us back late in the evening and very early in the morning to help our party get a car with ANOTHER PROVIDER when Enterprise was full. This kind of service is above and beyond and not normal, especially in the service industry, especially in the middle of summer. Clone this person, or let her train other industries on what true customer service looks like. Kudos Enterprise.

Excellent service as almost always with Enterprise. Mackenzie in particular was exceptionally helpful and friendly. When a vehicle in our reserved size (Compact) turned out to be unavailable we were given a free upgrade to a much larger vehicle (Ford Explorer) which worked well for us. Very quick check-in on our return after four days at the Matanuska Glacier and Denali NP.
My husband Ted and I used one of our free point days to rent a full size car for a 300 mile round trip ride here in beautiful Alaska. Service was fine, car was great, day was sunny and cool, ride was terrific as always, and the total cost was 79 cents. It was definitely one of our best car rental experiences lately!
I thought I was prepared for the expected high pressure one always receives regarding adding on insurance when renting from Enterprise. Boy was I wrong. Nick was a master - he quickly became my best friend with his smooth and friendly manner. I waffled and he spotted his opening. My bad. I know better.I have rental car coverage on my own auto insurance. I have extra coverage on my credit card. But when Nick told me that our route for the day was one of the most dangerous in North America, I got worried and added the insurance.We drove 2 hours to Cooper Landing and back. There was NOTHING remotely dangerous about this route. Not even a gravel road or raised elevation.I have watched the Enterprise employees engage in their high pressure sales techniques, and understand it is part of their business model. I think its unethical to be deceitful in order to close the sale.I wont be renting from Enterprise in any location in the future.

So awesome! Picked me up from my house right on time. The car was ready to go when I got there. They even had an Escape, almost like mine so I didnt have to miss my car so much while it was being repaired. They were professional and courteous
I had made a mistake in my reservation and they worked everything out with no problems. I got a bigger, more comfortable car at the same price of the compact I had reserved. Great people, great ride.
I have rented cars from here a couple of times and never have had any trouble what so ever. If I make a reservation and have to adjust it, they are always there to make it happen. Always nice and with a smile they do what they can to help you out.Even after I drooped the car off and realized that I have forgotten something in the back seat they didnt say nothing, just opened the car for me and made sure i found it.Prices are understandable and the service is awesome.

I was at the 5th ave location in Anchorage today. They turned what should have been an easy 10 minute rental process into a 3+ hour fiasco for no good reason. I’m not really sure why you bother making reservations if the vehicles are not ready and then they don’t let you know what is necessary ahead of time after talking to them twice the week before. All issues could have been avoided if they had any kind of proper customer service standards in place. It is unfortunate you can’t give less than 1 Star.
Customer service went beyond my expectations. Highly recommend this Enterprise location.As sometimes happens to car rental agencies in Alaska in the summer, this location was out of cars at the time we arrived. The manager Casey called the owner, who actually offered to rent us a car from another vendor and pay the difference, if needed. Casey made lots of calls around town to get us a car. Luckily, within 30 minutes, a large truck was returned, but that too big for us to drive. Casey got the airport location to make a trade for a compact car. Shaun drove us to our hotel in the truck and then returned with our car. They even allowed us to return the tank empty for our delay.Instead of saying, Sorry, cannot help you, like weve come to expect from other companies like an airline, this team worked very hard to get our vacation off on the right start. They are a credit to the car rental industry.
My wife and I had our Wedding down in Cooper Landing last July, 2019. We were trying to find a way to book and get all of the rental cars for all of our guests from out of town through one company. After speaking with several companies, we found the customer service from this Enterprise to be exemplarily. Great customer service. Beware they can be a little slow if you go during peak times. They need to get bigger vehicles to pick up and drop off people. It causes long wait times.

I was supposed to drop my car off at an auto body shop in Eagle River today. Instead, I’ll have to wait until tomorrow because apparently Enterprise needs a 24 hour notice to pick someone up that’s 30 minutes away. It’s a good thing I didn’t drop my car off before finding that out, because I probably would have been walking home with my two small children.
Horrible customer service. Made us get a taxi instead of picking us up. Incorrectly charged us and now trying to threaten to send us to collections. Tried calling and talking to a manager. One is rude and hangs up and the other says he will follow up to correct and obviously doesnt. Will never use enterprise again. Id rather pay more for a car than use them again.

I have rented from the downtown location multiple times and always have had terrific service. The cars are clean and reliable. The staff is professional and are always taking the time to make sure everything is exactly as expected. I highly recommend them.
The Enterprise in downtown Anchorage did an awesome job of checking us in and the drop off process was just as smooth. We rented a Nissan Rogue and the car was clean with no damage. The fuel economy was great. Prepurchased their gas and it worked out perfect. Enterprise called to make sure all went well and they charged us exactly what they were supposed to charge us. The taxi ride from downtown Enterprise to the Airport was only $20. Renting from the downtown location saved me over $600 in rental costs over the Airport location.

The vehicle we rented had a large oil leak. Be carrful when renting and check the oil level. They didnt seem to care when we returned the vehicle early due to a serious oil keak.

Not open on weekends??? Closes at 6pm? NOT adequate for this working woman. No SUVs available mid winter in Anchorage AK on icy roads: only light weight sedan with all-terrain tires that slip and slide with evey stop and start. I did, however, get a ride from my home. Staff informed and capable.
The cars rented were dirty !! It was not cleaned and maintained well. With so many tourists flying into the city and renting cars I assume they should maintain the cars well. After, complaining about the cars cleanliness to the management. The Manager on-site was accommodating and gave us a cleaner car.
