Jacob and Shelly have been extremely wonderful to work with. Since day one they have been communicative and professional. The buildings while older, are maintained well and kept very clean. Staff are quick to correct problems, to include the grounds keepers. Great location to base and to the rest of town. Thanks for everything!

We have a couple of problems along the way since I moved in June 2020, but Andy and Jacob took care of the problems. I am moving out early June 2021. My move out was supposed to be June 20, but because I turned in the move out notice on first working day of May which was May 3rd (a Monday) I was told that I would have to pay for the whole month of June too instead of just until June 20, but Jacob and Andy already got the lease for the next tenants and said it would be June 10 is when they move in. Meaning I will get 10 days of rent back which is awesome. Everything at Russian Jack may not be perfect, but Andy and Jacob help to make it right even if it takes a bit to do. Thanks fellows.

It took a little bit to get it but they was very professional about it Jacob was awesome! I just got off work and picked any apartment bad idea lol. So I looked at alot here in Anchorage and Russian Jack is the one.

Nice and quiet place, staff are friendly and laundry facilities are well maintained.

My husband and I lived there for over a year and we enjoyed our stay! There was a few problems that we encountered, however Ka was always there to help assist us when it’s always needed. Great place for first timers!!

They dont do very good snow removal

I would love to rate this place higher, as Kelsey the manager, has been doing her level best to get things done properly. I only give 2 1/2 stars, as the interior of the buildings & the grounds have been in a constant state of trashiness since I moved in October 2016. The only person I have seen picking up the rubbish outside is Kelsey! It appears that any housekeeping or grounds/maintenance for basics such as vacuuming & trash clean up is non-existent. I have lost count how many times I have cleaned up the trash dumpster area just to get my garbage into them. (It amazes me how LAZY some of the tennants are too & cant be bothered to open the lid.)

Worst place we have ever lived, hands down. Been here 7 months and weve personally been around a SWAT team intervention for an active shooter, neighbor with a gunshot wound, meth overdose across the hall, apartments with 8+ tenants in a 2 bdrm, dog poop & bags full of trash in hallways left for weeks, non locking outside entrances, homeless people sleeping in foyer, a suicide, police called to property regularly, and last week another shooting with at least 3 bullet holes going through apartment above us. All of this visible from our front door. Save yourself the headache.

When I left, I went to the office and asked to pay off everything I owed. I then asked again if there will be any charges in the future ill have to worry about, since im in the military and would soon be in Europe. I was told there would be no further charges until 2 months later im getting a surprise charge of about $1,000. Thanks for all the trouble russian jack
