This place has a plenty of room big enough kitchen for at least 2 in one studio has plenty of closet room ☺ as well. Calm neighbors and neighborhood, it may have its special moments but its an old building and they fixed it when they could. Sometimes neighbors can be noisy but thats normal even in a regual house.

Here is some problem on property by managing office .It seems to me management is far with solution and can not satisfy guaranty in some issues . So far so good, but it could be far better ! And loving dogs are some issues as well. Dog owners dont follow lease agreement and Non stop barking dogs are not pleasant, especially If, you want work on PC or watch tv set or perhaps to go to asleep. You need ear plugs . I am serious .

I feel like a prisoner in a 3rd world country the plumbing is a joke rent is unreasonable given the silverfish infestation thriving with the constant leaks .. tiny roach like bugs everywhere, thriving

I was told an apt was available & set an appt for 2pm the next day to view it. I arrived at the appointed time & was asked to come in to their office. Im handicapped so I said no & gave my situation. The response was well that apt was rented overnight by someone so you cant view it. Why didnt you call me & tell me so I dont make a waste of time & gas?! I went all the way there & back! Im sorry but I wasnt the one who set the appt up so I didnt know was the response. Idiots.

I am going on my second year in my apartment and I really love it. However, between being able to hear my neighbors blow their nose or use the bathroom as I am laying in bed is not very optimal. Nor is the extremely small parking spot that you get Hope you dont mind a few dents and paint chips on your car doors . Also the laundry area is one of the highest prices I have found in Anchorage its best to go to a laundry mat . Aside from those I love the area, there is never any drama or gun shots like other places in town. It is perfectly located very close to everything on Tudor but it is not right on the busy road. As a single female I get uncomfortable with random maintenance men going into my home, but when I found out that it was a woman I was elated she is very kind and genuinely does want to help. Also being a pet friendly area is nice even though there is a monthly fee and a security fee. All in all I would say I am pretty happy with my experience with Rancho Turdor, for being not only my first apartment on my own but also in Anchorage.

They refused to simply write two checks to split the deposit for me and a hectic dangerous roomate. The place was falling apart when I moved in. Someone was stabed in the unit above mine and housing office had no idea. Worst place Ive ever lived. Wouldnt live there if it was free. Its dangerous and horribly decorated. The convinence is absolutely not worth it.

The pros: the location, and they allow pets.The cons: the apartment manager does not live on site and is only available M-F during the daytime. The residents dont pick up their dogs poop, so the poop is everywhere. If there is an issue that the apartment manager wont resolve, Weidner (the property management company) wont return calls.
