They were able to meet me to do an inspection very quickly, and they gave me an honest rundown. Another company tried to charge me over double for subterranean termites, but Marshall from Suncrest was able to instantly identify that they did not exist and the extra treatment was unnecessary. They were able to tent the house within a week, and broke it down promptly two days later. I hope to never need their services again, but they will be the first and only people I call if I do.

I called Suncrest to come out after I discovered a couple of carpenter ants. The inspector said all looked pretty good, just needed to treat area and have one board replaced.They came out a few days later and replaced the board, painted it and then treated areas around the house. I had suspected that I might have termites since one of my window frames looked chewed up. I choose Suncrest because I saw their truck at two different neighbors homes and I read all the reviews on Yelp. Marshal, the owner, came out and inspected my home, and sure enough I did have termite damage. He spent a lot of time going over the process of tenting my home and gave me an estimate and a proposed contract. He told me to call him if I had any questions, which I did. I was impressed with his company and did not even get another quote. I also liked the fact that they do the fumigation themselves and do not sub out. The cost was less than I expected, and I got a 4 year warranty. His workers were very punctual and did an excellent job on repairing and painting the window frames. The tenting crew was on schedule and everything went well. They checked for broken roof tiles before they began and found five. Surprisingly, they didnt break any tiles when they tented, but afterwards repaired the ones that were already broken at a reasonable cost. Also, the tent itself was a discreet dark brown and dark green color and didnt stick out like the usual circus yellow, orange, pink or blues. The office staff was efficient, helpful, friendly and courteous. I definitely would recommend Suncrest to my family and friends and plan to use them in the future for my pest control needs.

Third time we have used Suncrest for termite fumigation (unfortunately needs to be done every 7-8 years here at the beach). This time we interviewed two other top rated firms, and they did not measure up.After talking to the others, decided we would go with Suncrest even if they were a lot more expensive -- so were surprised and happy when their estimate came in a few dollars lower than the distant #2 choice and $600 lower than #3.So why are they better? They have extra equipment like remote sensors to make sure the gas levels get up to and stay at needed levels for specific periods of time. We had several problem areas in vaulted wood ceilings and this was a deal closer for us.Also communication -- from Marshall the owner/operator to really great crews. Appreciated the attention to detail like pins in all the door locks to help make the house more secure, and the take-down crew making sure the site was put back in great shape.Finally, they own the business and do the work themselves -- so the communication and coordination is much better. Many termite companies are really just third-party brokers, who sell you and farm out the business.

We got 3 quotes for termite work at our home from different companies. Suncrests quote was the lowest and most detailed report covering all and more areas than the others. Their work repair/tenting guarantees were longer and they also primed the new wood, which was not included in others work. We needed the work to be completed ASAP. They quoted on Thursday and started/completed all repair work on Saturday. Tenting was also required and they worked with our schedule perfectly. Gabby always answered my calls and resolved any questions I had the same day. Although my initial interaction and impression was a bad one, Marshall showed integrity and care and offered to cover the price for the tenting. Marshall Hirt is the owner of this family business. He was forthright in providing information about our role and walked us through the bagging process in preparation for tenting, and his responsibilities to us. He was available for questions and problem solving throughout the project. The crew was careful about our and our neighbors safety as well as potential landscaping and property damage. They demonstrated great care in successfully protecting expensive and vulnerable items as skylights, satellite dish, sun-tubes, solar fans, etc. Our experience was that Suncrest was a reliable and professional operation.
