Be excellent if they had a infrared sauna it is a small unit for up to eight people for about 2500. theres plenty of space in the pool area.Wonderful pool except the lights are too bright at night you cant see the stars.
I signed up for a free pass to try this gym out. Apparently you are unable to go here if you do not have an address that is in Anaheim. I commute for work and rather that sit in traffic I like to train until I have a quick commute. The receptionist rudely turned me away. After speaking to the manager he allowed me to enter the facility only after showing him an address linking my name to a residence in Anaheim. I guess they dont want my money? Anyways soon there after I realized there are lines to use the weight equipment, how am I supposed to workout and keep a heat rate up if Im standing in a line to use one piece of equipment? My weight lifting session turned into a glorified stretching day as thats the only area I could find open. Needless to say I will never refer anyone to this gym based off customer service and lack of availability of equipment. Save your money and go to any other gym.
We were on vacation and went to this gym. Kyle Was so nice. Since our gym back home has towels and lockers with locks &no need for pad lock we thought this gym would be the same. Kyle was really nice as he lent us locks 🔒 and towels. Super friendly staff and clean gym. Would definitely go back.
Good gym to be honest nice staff keep you updated with rules they clean the gym very well and offer maximum safety measures as well as dropping the mask mandate! U can be comfortable now without a mask there is showers as well as a large locker room for females and males separate there is also a dryer to dry your clothes in 8 seconds! Best part are the deals such as refer 3 friends and get 3 years free and more!!

It was super good until a member of the gym decided to open my locker, steal my bag, credit cards, my car keys and my car, they also stole it Report to the managers of the gym, they did absolutely nothing I make this comment to All the girls who train there please do not leave your personal belongings there it is not safe I really do not want them to go through the same thing And of course it is not the first time they have been robbed there be careful
This gym is great. The machines are almost always functional and clean. Staff are friendly and welcoming. People here don’t judge and seem motivated to better themselves. Hydro massage is relaxing, steam room is great (when it was open), and the lockers/restrooms are decently maintained. The only issue is the amount of people in peak hours. Sometimes you gotta wait 15min for a squat rack or a couple minutes for a bench. I recommend going early before 10am on weekdays and even earlier on weekends.
So I’ve been waiting a while to leave this review to not pass any judgment but let me give an honest review for someone looking for a new gym to join. This location is full of its pros & cons but the firstly if you are seeking a CLEAN gym look elsewhere. The gyms standard of cleanliness needs revamping. I do see cleaning does fall within one department as front desk is limited as well as the sales reps but seeing so much of the male staff walk in out of the men’s restroom with flooded floors, trash all over the floor, and no toiletries and casually walking through just because it isn’t within their job description is crazy. Another focus has to be if your looking for a gym to come in unnoticed and to grab a workout THIS IS IT. No hate at all towards the general manager but it took me a while to even notice who the GM was as his presence and acknowledgment to guests is almost non-existent. Keep in mind a team is run by the same drive possessed by management. The front staff hasn’t been the friendliest or welcoming, as sometimes I’m barely even noticed as the staff carries on their discussions. I do have a PRO that they do have various different types of equipment to challenge yourself within your workout which has been exciting and new for me. I know this gym does fit a certain type of crowd and it has been very successful in helping me achieve my fitness goals but for the amount I pay I do believe guests deserve a better experience and with this being my first time as a golds gym member I can see why this gym does fall within another average star rating. This review may be taken as a laugh or pass off by the staff but I truly hope this review is taken to seek improvements on this location.
Scam Company. Bad Customer Service. All they have to do is putting money over customer service. Theyd lie to you before you start to sign a contract. If you plan to register at Gold Gym, please be careful and do reseach deeply before hearing what they promote. The contract of them has lots of policies, paperwork but you never been knew how they explain to you clearly so My advice is be careful with this unprofessional business.
Clean place. Has a variety of machines and equipment to workout. Spacious and beautiful environment. Is fun to workout here. Massage beds are clean and work perfectly 👌

The staff is very friendly, helpful, and keep/ maintain a clean environment. They have sanitizing spray bottles & new small towels so you can clean as you move from machine to machine.

Cost 200 dollars to cancel your membership. Thats a pretty heavy price to stop using a service. Thats over a year of membership fees.

I visited this place a couple of months ago just to check it out, but did not workout. But, recently I became a member and actually used their equipment and I have to say I absolutely love it. The way they set up the workout areas is very easy to navigate and find the machines you are looking for. They also have several cardio classes for you to choose from. What ever you are into or fitness level; Golds Gym has it. Very clean and big bathrooms. Also very friendly staff members. I highly recommend Golds Gym.
I was debating between signing up for a couple of gym brands. Golds Gym was a brand I was considering amongst others. When I was researching, their website was advertising a 3 Day VIP Guest Pass at this location. I signed up for it and got a call from Alex Mendiola there to confirm my appointment.I went to this Golds Gym on Wednesday (March 3rd, 2021) at around 7:00 PM. When I was at the Front Desk, Alex asked me to sign in and then wait for another staff member to talk with. Long story short, the staff member choose not to honor my 3 Day Guest Pass and instead tried to sell me on a membership on the spot. I felt he had a very aggressive attitude and seemed to blame me for expecting Golds Gym to honor their 3 Day Pass.I choose to leave and email Alex about this. I wanted to know the name of this staff member to lodge a complaint with his supervisor, but Alex seems to not want to be responsive.Overall, this experience reflects very poorly on the Golds Gym brand. If this type of staff behavior and deceptive marketing is acceptable to Golds Gym, then that demonstrates a lack of professional standards in their management.

Good gym but way too crowded at peak hours. I wish the gym can return back to later closing time soon. Its ridiculous to have the gym closes at 9pm on weekdays and 4pm on weekends.
Been going to this gym for two years. It all started when my mother wanted to freeze her membership a few months ago and she was told to cancel with ABC Financial. She called and it was eventually done early January of this year. However, she was still being charged for another two months later despite a letter we received said that shell be charged one final time before no more charges, so we went to Golds Gym personally on March 5th. We discovered that her Golds Gym didnt receive her cancellation but we could cancel it there and so we did. I also returned to the gym that same day after finding out they put the equipment back inside. 4 days later, I returned to the gym but I was not allowed through this time. They reveal that MY membership was cancelled in January instead of hers, hers was cancelled 4 days ago and that our cards were linked and thats how our membership was cancelled, which is not true because my mother and I signed up on different times and payed with our own cards. They also said that my membership was cancelled for Insufficient Use because, possibly, someone got the wrong idea. I was not happy to hear this and it became worst when they wanted to sign me up as if it was first time going to the gym. They were going to charge me $268 to get my membership back, so basically I was going to pay for someones mistake. I got up and left. In a way, they did me a favor by cancelling my membership.
Best gym I’ve ever been to!
Went to this gym for about two years. Once Covid hit they were not taking the pandemic seriously so I decided to freeze my membership. They didn’t tell me my member ship would be unfrozen on January 1st, for some reason which was not conveyed to me. I’ve been charged for January and February despite never asking for my account to be unfrozen and when I called in and asked for my account to be cancelled and to be refunded, I was given serious attitude, a push off to a manager, and no reply. The real T is somebody had already told me I qualified for a refund and needed to call an external company because they, the actual gym, don’t handle transaction—a third party does. I forgot the name so that’s why I called in again and then the lady told me I won’t get a refund???I don’t know. Y’all seriously just disappoint me.
No gym is perfect but after covid regulations shut most of californias gym establishments down you cant help but be grateful and golds gym has done an excellent job adjusting, a lot of equipment good staff and large especially after the outdoor expansion, not enough Plates though for benches and hammer strength machines but all in all Id give this location a B+ and very affordable as well!

They need to limit the amount of people allowed in the building. We have people working out with their mask below their noses in a crowded room. Everything is left to the customers for cleanliness, the staff are rarely if never out of the front desk. Shame on golds gym.

When i signed my contract they told me I could cancel without a fee as long as I show my military orders. I had to contract the BBB to get out of my contract. MILITARY DONT GO HERE! AS A MILITARY FAMILY WE DONT GET TO CHOOSE where WE are stationed. I would not recommend this gym to anyone.

The pandemic hit everyone, and the financial worries effected us all. For me it was extremely difficult to hear that my account has been over drawn and when I found out it was from golds gym I was furious because I did not remember signing up. I called management who assured me everything would be taken care of and they would swiftly refund the money after I describe the scenario and give them all the information needed to ascertain that the situation was such that the money should never have been taken since I did not sign up but had responded simply to an email stating that they were going to reopen and wanted to get information out to those who would be interested and possibly signing up for a membership. Management assured me that the money would be replaced to my card within 24 hours unfortunately though it has been a month now and I have had to chase down management time and time again to get their commitments that they were on top of it and that they would take care of it but again they duck and tail and do not respond to any of my calls only giving face when I call. Here we are 30 days later after I discovered the frivolous charges and illegitimate account that somehow started during the pandemic when the gym was not even open which is the biggest insult and management still has failed to take the initiative and return the charges citing that its out of their control and has to deal with a back-end marketing group. Everyone was hurt during this pandemic financially and this directly caused great financial hardship to me to which management said they cared but then time and time again show that they do not. This gym and their management is only interested in what accounts they can create and hold on to and then lies to customers telling them that they will financially refund the money only to hang up and high five each other that they hit their bonus. this is not the type of company nor the type of management that we need during this time.

How is it that we have theme parks closed but have people working out, heavily breathing next to each other in a closed area? This golds gym location is asking to be shut down again.
I’ve held back from writing this bad review a few times but I feel this time I shouldn’t.I was charged a late fee of $20 because I didn’t pay my fee before the 10th even after I reached out and called the gym a few days before to double check if my account was charged or not. I was told I was good and didnt have to worry. FF a few days later, they can’t waive the fee because I already had a fee waived earlier this year due to another previous miscommunication. I dont think it’s fair, and super exhausting dealing with fees and poor customer service.
Do not sign up at this gym or any Golds gym, I have a Headache trying to Resolve the issues on why they keep deducting money from my account, When i ask to talk to manager they make up excuses that his busy to leave my number and that they well get back at me which they never do .They are Money hungry and thats all they care about .SAVE YOUR SELF FROM HEADACHES and Do not sign up with Amilcar Archila if your a female, he will be texting every single day trying to get in your pants .

I have reached to my rep and 4 different mangers to connect with me on my account they all say they will get back to me and no one follows up. They just want your $$$ I have spent $1000’s of dollars with them and they don’t have the decency to call me back. I was going to have them come into my office to recruit 300 people to join and they won’t even call me back. Customer service is extremely poor. If you want to feel hustled for your $$ then go to this gym because they don’t care about you just the $$$! Super sad as for I too am in sales and they are definitely sleazy gym. Run fast and far form them!!
Went in on Monday( I currently work out across the street at Planet Fitness)So I was excited to check out this new gym, and I received a promotion rate on a flyer that was mailed to me . It ended up being a waste of my time, I checked in at the front desk filled out their waiver (Sergio R.) after waiting for 30 minutes in the lobby I let the front seat know that I was going to leave in 5 minutes if I wasn’t helped or given a tour.after the minutes still no one so the reception gave me a tour but couldn’t provide prices I had to discuss that with a sales agent so I left my name and phone number I was told that someone would call me with that information but never got a call. The funny thing is that the next day I got an email basically letting me know that the promotion would expire soon and asking me to come in ASAP(in other words).
Love the gym, machines kept clean and they provide many different opportunities for your workout and workout routine. Trainers, classes, and much more! Do need to keep first aid equipment fully stocked as I did smash my finger on a machine and there were no band aids or antibacterial items provided when asked for some.
I am a long time golds gym member and was visiting from out of town. Was treated terribly and rudely by the front desk when I simply wanted to use a guest pass for my friend to work out with. Was made to wait for a sales rep before allowing to work out, with no reasonable expectation of how long to wait. Definitely avoid this location if you are a golds member from out of town looking to workout with a friend. The lack of flexibility and rudeness was outstanding.
Very rude staff. Not all, but most of them are rude. Should really work on theyre people skills and greet people once they walk in and out of the gym with a smile. Most of them just have serious faces all the time. Once my contract is over Im definitely canceling.
I been coming here for a year and I really like it. It has a theater room where you can see a movie and work out. Every day is a different movie. They also have a pool and a cycling room. They just added more equipment to meet peoples demands.

I dont recomend Golds Gym. If you want good quality gym and amazing customer service go to Equinox, Crunch or Planet Fitness. They will let you try the gym for free before signing up.Why 1-star: I already have a gym membership but figured Ill swap if this one is better. Just a block from my house, very convenient. They had a free 7-day pass so I signed up and went there to try. Edgar gave me a tour. Gym looked OK but super crowded. He told me I cant use the 7-day pass since I tried another location in San Francisco several years ago. I had to sign up first, pay and then try. I had to leave if I didnt sign so I did.They might have won me as a member if they let me use the free 7-day pass which they were already offering. Even just an hour to check the locker rooms and some of the machines would have been enough. How much would it have cost them? There are plenty of gyms around here and they all let you try the facility before signing up.
Great Gym you just have to go when everybody is not there, and there’s this one older Hispanic Guy that goes there with a Superman symbol on his chest it’s always shaving in the steam room or putting hair dye on. Other than that awesome Jim
It took almost 3 weeks to replace a broken heater for its outdoor jacuzzi with a new heater since 3/7/2019. The jacuzzi pool water has troubles to keep a normal temperature of the promised 98 ℉ since 10/10/2018. I have sometimes measured as low as 88 - 89 ℉ by a laser temperature gun at the water surface of the outdoor jacuzzi pool. However, the gym manage only cares his own way to measure the jacuzzi temperature at an inside computerized heater hooked with a water pipe in the closed-space heater room, not the wide-open water in the outdoor jacuzzi pool.===========================As 4/2/2019 7pm the General Mgr. Frank Ramirez told me the jacuzzi water heater was broken again today and he would call a water heater professional to fix it soon. It has been happening much frequently than normal acceptance and all customers stuck in their annual contracts without cancel memberships!===========================As of 4/13/2019 General Mgr Frank Ramirez kept on asking me to patiently wait for their jacuzzi water heater second-time broken-down again since 4/2/2019 for 12 days already and keeping on shutdown until their new heater order arriving in the near future. I do NOT understand why other fitness centers have no such problems to keep up the jacuzzi water temperature high at least 97 degree Fahrenheit and never have 78 degree today as I have measured it today by using a laser temperature gun at the Golds Gym jacuzzi water surface 78 degree. Their men locker rooms dyer (only the water raising function) and some missing cloth hangers have been missing since at least a month ago and never been fixed yet. I do NOT recommend anyone to use their jacuzzi and men locker room. I have lower their rate from 3 stars to 2 stars since today 4/14/2019.
Best gym to go to in Anaheim no doubt. Very clean. Staff is very nice always with a smile on their face that makes you feel welcome. Great equipment brand new. They also have child care in case you have kids and dont have any body to take care of them they do that for you.
These people look for any way to kick you out of their gym. They do this because its overcrowded. Never enough sanitation supplies. Wouldnt be surprised if its swarming with Coronavirus.
I come here regularly, friendly staff, great environment. Called a few weeks back and asked if my friends brother (who is a minor and Id be accompanying him the entire time) could just try it out BEFORE he signed up to make sure he liked it, and felt comfortable there. Called the front desk, not sure his name but the Asian guy answered and asked him if my friends brother could try it out. He asked me the basic questions like how old and whatever. I gave him the info, and said no because your membership doesnt have any guest passes so that irritated me, because a few weeks prior, I took my sister and her boyfriend with me and they tried it out with no problems at all. So I kept asking why he couldnt try it out, before to see if he likes it so he can sign up. But he kept on saying that he couldnt try it, because he was a minor(even with me accompanying him the entire time) and kept saying he couldnt come just because he wasnt a member. Staff member sounded very uneducated as far as whats going on in the gym. So I told him its fine Ill talk to johnny then he gave me an attitude and said ok you do that then. not sure what his issue was that day or what his problem is, but someone needs to have him chill. Instead of refusing to say well how bout you come in, and we can figure something out or since hes a minor he needs an adult 18+ to be with him the whole time, so just have him come in and well give him some information and give him a tour and let him try it out. staff member needs to work on his communication, customer service, and people skills.

This gym is brand new. It is crowded right now due to the new year factor. Attrition will start soon as those that set the new years goal to get in shape, lose weight fail to launch. Hey Ive been one of them. I currently left Chuze fitness to join Golds Gym based upon the free weight benches. I am so far satisfied with my membership as far as amenities. I will probably leave after my year membership due to the fact that I want to add my children to my membership for a total of four memberships.(an additional two including them) I pay about $40 a month and I wanted to add them for an additional $9.95. I asked one of the sales reps there but they were adamant about a $60.00 charge for each additional account before i could sign them up for $9.95. I am not willing to do that, I figure after my year is up I will have more bargaining effort to join somewhere else. Other than that I have no complaints.The staff is friendly, and always welcome me upon entering. There are a lot of options here including some workout machinery or setups that are different. I look forward to checking out the classes while under contract for a year. If they ever offer me to add my kids for an additional 9.95 per kid hey Id stay.

Tricked me into getting a membership and advertised they were opening a gym near me within a month, and here we are 6 MONTHS later. No gym and no help to cancel a member. Now im stuck in a contract
Brand new facility and friendly staff. My son (13yrs old) and I recently had our welcome to. It was suppose to be separate but computer wise something happened and we had ours together. I cannot complain about the personal trainer we had. He really focused on my son and was patient, very informative, and really INSPIRED my son.Our personal trainer was amazing!!! I will update when I remember his name.Since two people were doing the intro together I feel were shortened in time and individual focus. I only wished we had more time.
The only reason that I gave them a 1 🌟, its because of the annoying loud music. The staff tends to forget that they are just employees. Their paychecks also come from all the out of shape people they look down.
Current member here. The gym itself is very small, hardly any room to workout. I just make it work since I made the mistake of signing up for a year.I tried to bring my husband for the 30 day trial since they gave me a voucher but they said he couldnt use it because he was my guest there before. How is someone supposed to be confident about signing up when they wont even let you try the gym?Then it dawned on me, THAT is why they wont let you try the gym. They will say anything just to get you to sign up and if they cant fool you, then they treat you like sh*t.Cant wait for my membership to end.
Ive now attempted to cancel my gym membership for 4 months now. I live 130+ miles away so im unable to do this in person but I was told the employees that im able to cancel over email or phone with Andrew (Manager). Ive made numerous attempts to contact Andrew (10+times) at different hours but i still havent been able to get a hold of him. Everytime I call Im told by Ms. Carrillo (assistant manager) or other employees that hes either in lunch, break or unavailable and that no one else is able to help me. I have paid more then $100 since I started this process. I highly advise anyone who is looking to join this gym to consider any other place.
Im not one to complain but...What happened to the old staff?They were so nice and welcoming.The new staff 12/7/18 are the opposite.They make it feel like asking for a towel or hydro bed is a nuisance.

I just recently got a membership at this gym, when I sat with a salesperson I asked if they had any promotions he said he doesnt think so. Then two days later I search the gym online for location and I see this promo that says you can join for 9.95 a month. Im gonna go to the gym because i have a subscription, but the moment it is done Im getting out of here. I really dont appreciate being done like that. Other than that the staff is friendly and the gym is really nice.
Youll Probably end up catching the Corona virus in there. Been there 4 times already and havent seen anybody cleaning the equipment after people use it. They just walk around on their phone all day without cleaning anything

Very nice and new gym. Staff is friendly and there always tends to be a sale for gym membership. They have different plans that include a variety of things such as towels, pool access, and water massage therapy. The only bad thing is that it isnt 24 hours. If you need to go to the gym in the middle of the night, 24 Fitness is your best bet
Place gets packed in the mid day and evening. And the music absolutely sucks. Difficult to get motivated if you forget your headphones. Other than that its great.
The Gym itself is top of the line with new and innovative machines. The staff is well rounded and informed. I appreciate the cleanliness of this facility. The pool, jacuzzi, steamroom and hydrotherapy are an added bonus.The instructors and trainers make the membership worth its weight in Gold.Hence Golds Gym!

I worked with Frank Ramirez, General Manager, to cancel my membership for months now. I actually transferred my membership from the Fullerton location to Anaheim. Frank and another sales person created two contracts for me. I got that resolved working with Frank for over three weeks. My membership was supposed to end in November. I paid for the first and the last month. Somehow I was charged for November again.I emailed Frank Ramirez the General Manager. He said he will issue the refund via email. Its almost a month and half now. He does not respond to my emails and or come to the phone.This is the worst customer service I received from a person who holds the General Manager title. I was expecting good customer service from the beginning to the end of the service.People who are at the front desk like Cameo Rodriguez is trying to find a way to pass this. First she said I did not pay the last month fee when I signed up. Not even 10 minutes later, Cameo called me and said, it was because I did not give 30 day notice. I filed a complaint with the Best Business Bureau (BBB) today. I also emailed and contacted the Golds Gym executives from the CEO to the Senior Vice President of Franchising via LinkedIn.I saw a few comments from the owner, requesting to come see General Manager to resolve their issues. If its cancellation, you just need to cancel your credit card and file a dispute. Banks have very good customer service than at Golds gym. The whole team, including the General Manager Frank Ramirez at Anaheim location need training on customer service and how to handle account cancellations.
There was a misunderstanding on my personal training contracs, so i am rerating this gym to 5 stars. I am happy to keep my family here and use their golds fit!
Lots of great gear. Clean. Off hours not very crowded. Really new location.
This crazy place with incompetence staffs. I got stopped and asked for the same stupid questions over and over again. Apparently they asked just to ask. Nothing been resolved and updated/fixed. And the most annoying part is that they have untrained staffs telling you that you didn’t pay for certain services and made you feel so cheap for not paying but still want to get free services from them when you not only did pay in full for one year but 2. They stopped me couple times and told me that this is my last time they allowed me to use some services that I paid in full for just because their systems are not correctly updated. They need to change the way they approach customers. I don’t understand why they hired a bunch of kids working here and think they are in control of allowing me when to use the service that I paid for. When I asked to speak to a manager, the kid said he is not here and won’t be here until Tuesday, and today is Saturday. Arrhhh!!! I sure will call again to their head quarter in TX on Monday to file a complain. Too bad that I paid for 2 years already. :(
When you going to take a membership, ask the explain everything because when I bought mine the guy didnt explain me about you have to pay $50.00 like in june, so just be carefully
It’s a very nice gym but it’s just so cramped that I can’t work out and am looking to leave as soon as possible. I want go somewhere else where I can actually workout.
There is a Large range of equipment and free space. The pool is nice, the steem room feels wonderful. The staff is very helpful with any questions. There is no Sauna at this location in particular, however there are massage beds and they feel good. they have good music to work out to, i dont feel like i need to play my own. Its a very welcoming environment for anyone looking to better their physical health. 10/10 prefer this gym.
Worst place for seniors to wot out. Force them to get a trainer and charge more that they were told. My mothers checking acywas in zero with only 2 weeks of training, they showed up late for each appointment. Worst experience ever.
By far one of the worst gyms I have been to. Even though it is only about a year old half the equipment like a majority of the staff, including upper management, dont function properly. Regardless of it being a business establishment, what they preach to be contradicts what they actually are. Extremely low quality service all around. Planet Fitness has better equipment and customer service in comparison to this piss poor excuse of a gym.
Ever since they change management a few months ago I have seen trainers leave... looks like people that works there are not happy, and us as members and that we pay for trainers we get affected. I have been a member since they open this location.
My experience at golds gym was horrible I tried canceling my membership in February I was told to fill out a paper and wait for the manager the employees didn’t bother to give the manager the paper I filled out instead they had me wait 30 min for nothing because eventually the manager went home. I went back again in March the manager was rude about the whole cancellation process. He was even proud of himself to have ruined my day. I would not recommend this gym to anyone the employees at the front don’t know what they’re doing and the manger is rude.
Great gym, always clean with good equipment thats well maintained with very nice and helpful staff. If you get a trainer try to get Michelle, best trainer Ive ever had.
They arent honest with all the payments that ylu have to do....they just want yoir money
