Ive met Ryan in passing after I graduated college. I reached out to him when I saw that he had a personal training business. After gaining the COVID weight, I wanted to work with someone to kickstart my motivation for fitness again.Ive worked with him for a few months now. And its been interesting. He definitely pushes me a lot and I feel that having a personal trainer does motivate myself to be accountable when Im not training with him. Hes very flexible with time and tries to accommodate all his clients.
Honestly really easy for me to give 5 starts without a doubt. I was starting a weight loss journey but I constantly had trouble with the nutritional aspects and being accountable to actually losing weight. Im pretty familiar with what I needed to do in the gym, but always had more trouble with dieting and accountability. That being said, Ryan was not my actual trainer, but he set up a program for me where I would weigh in once a week so that I could be held accountable for losing the goal weight of one pound a week. Not only that but he helped me break down my macros and exactly what I should be intaking in a day (calories and macros). Essentially the program I did was included a nutritional breakdown and weekly accountability to ensure I lose the desired/goal weight a week. Definitely pleased with this program and the results!!

Training with Ryan was an exceptional experience! He understood what my fitness goals were and how to achieve them. Additionally, after several years of not working out, he was careful in making sure that I wasnt going to injure myself, always asking how I felt and pushing me where he knew I could. After working with him for several months, I had noticeable change in the amount of fat I carried and actually had some muscle gains! Ryan has been my 1 and only positive experience with a personal trainer. He takes his job seriously and will not waste your time during your session. He tracks your fitness progress and knows when it’s appropriate to push you and when something is too much. He has a wealth of knowledge about fitness and knows proper technique. Ive been working with Ryan for a while now and hes been a great trainer! Ive worked out on my own for a while now and was always iffy about working with a personal trainer but I really needed someone who could teach me how to do different/certain workouts for different muscle groups and also someone who could see that I have more strength than I think and push me when appropriate.It really helps working out with someone who knows what theyre doing so that 1. you have a buddy to help you and 2. theyre making sure youre doing your workouts correctly.Happy with Ryan so thanks for everything!

This guy helped me lose the weight I was trying to lose after having my son three months ago I weighed 206 while being pregnant after having my son I weighed 200 he helped me lose all that weight and now I weigh 185 thanks to him I am back where I want to be. Ryan is a really great PT! Ive been trying to lose fat and build more muscle but didnt know where to start, but hes been extremely helpful. I havent gone to the gym or anything in a long while, so I wasnt able to do much to start, but hes very good with working at a steady pace that works for me too. I could barely do 4 pull ups initially and Ryan helped me develop my upper body strength. Looking around for good local trainers is hard and I didnt really feel like going to a large corporate entity like LA fitness. Was looking for something more on the personal level. Ryan was very accommodating and knew exactly what I needed to get in shape. Its gonna take hard work and dedication to get toned up and Ive started seeing results withing 2 weeks! I was skeptical at first to try out a non commercial gym but Im very grateful I did! The trainer is very knowledgeable and gave me great tips to help with mobility and form! Achieve Fitness is a really good spot to get one on one personal training. I found this place through Google Maps and Im really happy with the results that I have achieved with the help of Ryan. Ive been getting personal training from him for 3 months now and I have achieved great results. Within the first two months we focused on cardio and Ive lost 25 pounds and now on the third month he incorporated weight training to my workouts. I highly recommend this place.

Ryan really understood exactly which part of my body that I wanted to workout! I couldnt get the results that I want quite yet until Ryan instructed me. He corrects the forms and explains why some forms are not good and what needs to be careful to prevent injuries. I was very satisfied with his training sessions! Ask him anything if you have any questions regarding forms and diet!

Ryan was very receptive to where I was strength wise when I started. With a strong background in fitness, he was able to keep my program challenging but at the same time engaging. It didnt feel like a chore going to the gym with him (it got highly addicting after a while). Just be clear with what you want and hell help you get there. Ryan is the man. I have always struggled with my weight. The main reason is because I just dont know what workouts are right for my body type when it comes to losing and keeping weight down. In all honesty I just didnt know how to work out. But Yan taught me everything I needed to know. Hes very knowledgeable when it comes to the body. Not only that but he also gave me tips on what foods are good and which ones to stay away from. Ive lost a total of 13 pounds so far and I have never felt this good about myself. I look forward to seeing how great Ill look in a few months.
Finding a trainer that understands your needs and figure out a regimen that sufficiently pushes you is difficult. Ryan has always been able to push me when he trains me. He is consistently adapting and learning. While I saw my own growth with his assistance, I also saw growth in him as a trainer. Would recommend, but it wont be easy. Thats a good thing.

After years of training, I reached a strength building plateau and just couldnt get past it. After doing something for a while, its easy to get caught up thinking that you know the best and only way to do something. However, after being stuck in the same spot for so long, I decided to give Ryan Woo a shot at getting past my plateau and reaching my goals. I made the right decision! Not only did he introduce new techniques and training routines to get past my plateau, I also was able to shed fat and be leaner than I have been in my whole life. I started lifting back in early 2014 and I didnt know where to start. When I would go to the gym, I would only do cardio or very simple machines. The free weights section was daunting for me. When I took up powerlifting, everything changed. I fell in love with getting stronger everyday but it was still scary.I knew Ryan from before and decided to reach out to him because I knew he was a personal trainer. He immediately invited out to his gym and he helped me with my form which is really important when lifting weights. In only a few sessions, I could feel the difference and was able to actually push much bigger numbers due to correct technique.I no longer live in the area but would recommend Ryan to anyone I know. Hes friendly and personable but knows when to push you. He doesnt sugar coat anything but you know he is guiding you in the right direction.Lifting weights really changed my life for the better so if youre nervous, this is a great first step. Paying for a trainer can be expensive but in this case, it was worth it to me. The prices are actually very reasonable considering what you get.Thanks, Ryan, for everything!

As an aspiring powerlifter, Ryan has helped me in breaking my plateaus, along with reaching my goals in terms of physique. His knowledge of various techniques involved in weightlifting and diet was invaluable. The numbers speak for themselves as my deadlift shot up 50 lbs, finally hitting 405lbs. Ryan pushed me to my limits, but always checked in with me to ensure I was comfortable. Having a membership at Achieve Fitness with a trainer was also surprisingly very affordable.
