Fun place to go and enjoy. Even if you dont want to climb, you can still be part of the action (belay) or just watch your climbers have fun. Have all sizes of harnesses and shoes for the adventurer in all of us.
Always a fun place to go! Prices are really steep but they have many walls and route to choose from. Even when it has been busy, we have never had to wait long to get on a route that we wanted. The workers have always been friendly. Would recommend checking this place out.
Our family loves this gym. We go twice a week, the employees are very friendly and the routes are very challenging.
This place is easily the best climbing gym Ive ever been to. Its definitely pricey, but they have a lot of options for you to choose from, which makes it feel a little more worth it. They have climbing walls up to about 40 feet high with a huge variety of routes. There is both top rope and lead climbing, as well as bouldering on the main floor and upstairs. They have shoes, harnesses, and chalk bags for rental, and accessories for sale. On top of that, they also have a gym upstairs for people who are really dedicated to getting in shape for climbing. The gym is also beginner friendly. They have classes for kids, and they give you a tour and belaying instructions/test for first-timers at the gym. They also hold competitions here on occasion. I couldnt go here consistently because of the price, but it is definitely worth the trip when you do go there.
My husband and I go here on a regular basis, it can be pricey, but there are memberships you can purchase to make it cheaper if you go often. We bought our own equipment too, like rock climbing shoes and harnesses to make it even cheaper. The best part is you and your husband can do a sport together at your own individual levels.
So good! Friendly chill staff, nice facility(only a few lose holds), great kids area, nice routes! Love the auto belay routes also. Overall, great time with my two little ones! =D
Sick place to get some energy out and meet awesome people. Routes are fun, price is fair
Great gym, I’ve had a lot of fun experiences here. However, there organization is absolutely awful! I ordered climbing shoes through the edge, the shoes were lost and I didn’t receive them for over 3 months. It took them 3 months to see why they hadn’t come yet, provided no compensation. I also prepaid a 4 month pass, I went out of town for a month, I talked to an employee and he said he could pause my membership till I came back a month later, when I came back they said it had expired and there was nothing they could do. Workers are always very polite but this is ridiculous. You’ve lost my business
Excellent!! Went solo and everyone was willing to help out.
Fun routes, friendly staff, overall a great climbing gym!
If youve never been here you should check it out. You dont have to be a climber to enjoy and benefit from what they have in there facility. Stuff for all ages.
Best climbing gym on eastern idaho with great climbs
They were so helpful/knowledgeable in regard to climbing. Jackson was the man! He took the time to teach us the proper techniques of rappelling and was very patient. Our Zion trip should be epic! “Cash money!” (Thanks Madsen)
Awesome! Great routes and lots of them
A fairly large gym, theyve got loads of routes that start from beginner routes to some fairly advanced routes. Theyve got an actual gym in there too, the bouldering routes are nice and challenging. Its a little expensive, but theyve got deals and memberships available. They also provide rental gear but its best to bring your own.
I love the edge climbing gym. It has some great climbing for all levels of skill. Well maintained and clean. Routes seem pretty well set and the people there are great too.
This is quickly becoming one of our favorite places to go in our limited spare time. It is an incredible family activity that stretches the mind and body. I can see it giving my girls more confidence and ability to overcome the challenges they regularly face. We are constantly on the lookout for fun family activities that are reasonable and that keep us doing something together rather than running all separate ways to whatever whim decides to pull us next.Try this place out! You will understand why after you’ve gone.
I enjoy climbing at the edge. They have many walls routes and climbing areas. More than you could climb in a while day. The staff is helpful and the prices are decent. If your a novice or practiced climber it doesnt matter. There is a lot to do and you will have fun.
The courses are good. Some are beginner level and some are challenging. The staff dont seem particularly worried about checking for safety, but they are nice! And help you the first time.
This place is great family fun. Climbing for every level. Clean, very well kept equipment with good safety supervision. We have been twice and it’s quite a drive for us but worth it.
I brought my daughter here and we climbed for 5 hours absolutely loved it. The staff is excellent and very knowledgeable to make sure your climbing safely. Loved it so much I got a membership.
Super fun! Great place for the whole family. Im thinking about getting a membership.
It was amazing there! Theres lots of great climbing for beginners and experts. Ill definitely go again if I get the chance.
Wonderful place to climb. Would be 5 stars but it is expensive.Staff is also helpful, friendly, knowledgeable
It cost me $15.00 with a student discount, then I rented shoes and a harness for an extra $7.00 The gym was amazing, and has a wide variety of climbs. Most climbs require someone to belay you, but there is a few that have a self-belay device. There is also a bouldering section and a small weight gym
An excellent rock climbing gym. The facilities, routes and staff are all excellent. Great for a date, fun afternoon, or a membership for long term fitness. Nothing better than the mental and physical workout of climbing to keep you healthy and wise. The exercise room is a bonus. Definitely one of the best indoor climbing gyms in the country!
Great place to climb and have a good time. Harnesses and shoes are available for rent if you dont have your own.
Great place, plenty of rock walls to climb with differing heights and difficulties. It also has a play area for smaller children. There are a few spots with auto-belays for single climbers, but it is a great place for pairs/ couples. It rents out equipment for use in the building, and has a place where you can buy it as well. It has restrooms and a water fountain. It has a gym area for membership holders.
As being entirely new to climbing, I found the staff and other climbers helpful, friendly and willing to help so your climbing experience to be the best it possibly can be. They have routes for everyone, even for me. Its a fun alternative to lifting weights in a typical gym. Highly recommended.
Super fun and different. Would recommend this place to ANYONE with a sense of adventure and less the skills. IT IS FUN and SAFE!
A great climbing gym with very friendly staff and a wide range of walls and routes. The normal prices are pretty fair but the specials are where its at; especially date night and family night! Also great is the floor is a sort of vinyl padding, not shredded rubber like some other gyms. A really good experience.
Fun place to go climbing.
Stopped through town and came to this friendly place. Its clean and has interesting and fairly tall routes. Came solo so I used the auto belays and I had more variety to climb that I anticipated.Cant use the weights unless youre a member. No showers or lockers.
Best climbing gym Ive been to in Idaho by a long shot! They did a great job utilizing the space they have and the only creative bouldering routes Ive seen in Idaho. Great equipment and friendly staff. Only minor downside is that Ive paid the same entry for gyms nearly twice the size and received more benefits from memberships. I was told they may have more perks and deals in the works for the future well see what happens. If they lowered the rates even just slightly, Id be more inclined to make the drive from Rexburg weekly and even consider a membership.
Best place to climb in Idaho for everyone. Whether they are new to the sport or professional, young or old, there is a rout for all! Staff are amazing and friendly! They accommodate large groups as well.
Love this place. It is smaller than gyms I am used to and the workout room is small- but you can still get a good sweat going. Routes dont change as much as you can climb them- but they are diverse and challenging.
The routes here are awesome, they do a great job providing variety, I always have a great time here.
A very sizable and fun climbing facility with very nice staff members. We particularly love the kids areas that were far more extensive than most other climbing gyms we have visited. Great bouldering area, and overhung walls too.
This is a fantastic climbing gym. Family friendly and while it isnt cheap it is a wonderful business to have in our area. The employees are kind and the facilities are absolutely phenomenal. At some point we may end up with a membership there. For now we will certainly take advantage of the family night specials.
This is a great place to climb!!! I love how theyve got their routes setup. They have auto belays so you can go climbing whenever you want. They also have a huge bouldering section. Cone check them out!
Huge fan, checked in hundreds of times. Some local debate about grade difficulty/accuracy. Ultimately doesnt matter because there is a large variety of routes many ranging from ladders to the near impossible. Just dont take it at face when climbing outside. End of the day, its an amazing gym for families and beginners-intermediate climbers. Has a perfectly good selection of weights and machines for cross training, rest days, or just getting a little bigger while still climbing hard. Excellent staff, the owner is always around and is attentive to needs of the people around. Routesetters are constantly adding new routes. I could go on but Im a big fan.
Climbed here twice while staying in IF. I flashed up to an 11c and felt good about it. The most surprising thing about this gym is there are over 30 top ropes and they all have a dedicated grigri!Edit: My current gym in OK has a 5.9 that I am projecting but I flashed a 5.11c at the edge. Routes are sandbagged.
This is an awesome facility. The staff were kind and very patient to help teach you what to do.
One of the best gyms Ive been to! Lots of options for all skill levels. Well thought out routes!
Love this place! Lots of fun routes! If youre a climber, this is the best gym in the area and its definitely worth getting a membership
Great climbs. They change your their wall often. Has not followed the regular where the climbs become so hard that normal people cant climb there any more.
This place is awesome! There are so many routes for beginners and experts and there are so many fun bouldering problems. The staff are super helpful and friendly. It has a super colorful and fun atmosphere. 10/10
My kids had a blast! The design was adorable and seemed to fit all ages. I felt it was very reasonably priced. What a great facility to add to our area.
My husband and I are new to climbing and have loved how welcome this place is. We have purchased memberships and look forward to going every week. The staff are all invested in the well being of each climber
Great place to climb, I just wish they had more accommodating hours. Not being open in the mornings or on sundays is inconvenient and I find it strange that a gym would have such limited hours. Especially a whole weekend day, which is when most working people have time to use them.
I have had the worst time with this contract ever. If you don’t climb constantly do not get a contract you get stuck in it for a long time. I just got off the phone with them after being charged for apparently months without actually having a contract. They said we may be able to refund your money. Literal worst experience I have ever had with a contract. Paid them for about 10 months without ever going.
I love this climbing gym. Ive taken scouts, friends, and my 4 year old son. Everyone has always had a great time. The staff is helpful and nice.
Great gym, great staff! Ive been going here for a year and they change the wall up frequently and keep things fresh. I definitely recommend it.
The Edge Climbing Gym is awesome! Ive been to many different established rock gyms, like the Phoenix Rock Gym in Arizona, but the Edge is my favorite. The route setters do a great job, and are constantly adding new climbs and variety. I really like that they use different colored rocks, instead of colored tape to mark the routes. There is a climb for everyone, no matter what skill level. It is very family friendly too. My whole family will climb together, and we have a blast! There are climbs for the kids, climbs for the most experienced of rock climbers, and everywhere in between. In the beginners area of the gym, there is even a fun slide for the kids. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and give great climbing tips. The atmosphere in the gym is always very positive. Every time I walk in, its like Im walking into a group of old friends. Before I had started coming to the Edge, I wasnt really into bouldering, but now I love it! The ideas that they come up with for their routes are pretty cool, and a lot of fun! I also like that they included a workout section to the gym, so you can go for a run or lift weights while you are there. The prices are fair, and worth every penny! Overall they did a fantastic job on the gym. Its a great place to get a workout and have fun!
Staff are friendly. Auto belay routs have something for every level. Bouldering routes changed regularly as well as full walls. Good deals and competitive prices.
Very nice! Love the edge climbing gym. Such nice workers there and easy to hard climbs.
By far my favorite place to go in Southeast Idaho. Great climbing and bouldering areas, friendly staff. The routes change often to help you work on your skills. I highly recommend the Edge.
Solid gym with lots of variety. Took my wife the and we had a blast. Theres also a fairly good sized wall thats for kids. Its all very well put together.
I love the Edge, its a great climbing gym! They have lots of bouldering, belaying and lead climbing areas. They even have a little exercise area with typically gym equipment! Pretty well-rounded place.
I am a gym member, and I love it! The staff are supr friendly and overall a great experience! 11/10
This is hands down my favorite place to go climbing! I love that there are different walls for all skill levels, and theres always a new challenge. The equipment was all great and the staff is so friendly.
Had my sons birthday party there. It was excellent the kids had a blast and it is a very safe place.
I climb here a few times a week. Great gym, challenging routes, great free weight area, friendly staff. Could be a little more organized but theyre getting there.
Had an awesome time climbing! The routes were fun and challenging. I will definitely be coming back and be bringing my friends!
Its a quality gym. Its well lit with good holds and has some interesting routes for all abilities. I wish prices were lower, but they are competitive with national rates.
Had a very enjoyable time. Excellent selection of retail climbing equipment for sale as well.
We took a large youth group and they were very accommodating and friendly. Call ahead of time so they know you are bringing a group. Clean facility, great service.
Got a great deal for college night on a Saturday night, and the climbing there is great. You can climb for hours and not bout the same route twice. Theres also tons of space there so theres no waiting around for other people, not to mention a large bouldering area
This gym is great it is very well maintained and the staff is very warm, it is a great workout and I would recommend going often, it is alot of fun and is great for families and a single climbers alike
Awesome climbing gym and updated often to keep the experience fresh!
Came for the bouldering. It was a lot better than I was expecting! Great gym, will eventually get a monthly pass!:)
Great variety in climbing walls. The auto-ballet walls were really fun. It was a bit pricey, but the experience was terrific.
Great wall, great staff!
The staff wasnt very friendly and seemed to hate us when we asked a few questions. Both my friend and I could tell that they hated us. The climbing seemed to be inaccurately rated also. 5.11Ds are way easier here then any 5.10 Ive ever climbed in another gym. Still, the climbing was fun though. Just not a very welcoming place.
New, clean facility with so many great climbing levels and options available. The staff is very helpful and supportive. Great for groips, families, kids or to climb alone
Love this place, with the ability to auto-belay and the kids area as well as a small gym it definitely helps make the cost feel a little more worth it. The routes are set up with colored rocks so they are easily seen and followed and the staff was very kind.
Great climbs, and they regularly update the climbs. Everything is pretty clean, and the employees are pretty nice.
We have a family membership and absolutely love it! Nothing better than having fun as a family and getting a great workout.
Very fun! Just a bit pricey.
Great indoor rock climbing and bouldering. Tons of routes to try
Great friendly atmosphere and helpful staff. My 7 & 9 yr old had a blast.
Cool place. Daughters bday party was great, awesome staff. Cant wait for the next.
Great place to take kids. Staff were very helpful this was our first time climbing. The provided great instructions.
Great place but pretty spendy
Excellent gym. Has everything you need to get started climbing and reasonably priced.
Just what we expected. Great climbs
Great staff, tons of different walls for all skill levels.
