I was serviced by Wendy and it was the best manicure and pedicure I’ve had in Allentown. Beautiful professional people. I highly recommend this nails place.

I have been coming to get my nails done here, for quite sometime. It truly has lost its sparkle. The fact that I was charged an extra $5 dollars, just for extra colors on my toes is ridiculous. Not to mention a $15 dollar fee to take off my dip powder. I was shocked when they told me my total. For the money it is so not worth it. There are a few really nice women who are friendly and do give you the attention. However, this was enough to make me not want to come back again.

Manicurist refused to use clean equipment. I insisted on a new emery board and buffer. I was charged five dollars when this should be changed after every use without charge. Therefore, I was Penalized for asking the salon to follow health & safety codes.Recently, I was about to have a pedicure and the dirty jet disc was removed from another station and placed into the opening in the tub that I was about to use. It was sitting in dirty water and the manicurist refused to clean it stating that this piece of equipment does not get cleaned. I explained that it needed to be disinfected and she refused so I left. Her paper mask was situated below her nose. It’s a pretty salon and looks clean until one observes how unsanitary it really is.

EDIT** - after a few days of looking at my nails I noticed some lumps and quite a few spaces that were missed that should’ve been painted especially near the cuticle (looks like they were already grown out a day after). After almost a week since my appointment the lumps broke and to my surprise there is undried nail polish underneath. So now I have 5 chipped nails. Disappointed because I left thinking I received good service and even made another appointment in advance before I left. Will most likely be canceling that appointment and trying somewhere else. Changed my 5 star to 2 because the place is nice and got me in pretty easily.——————-I’m not the kind of person who regularly gets there nails done but decide to go in on a Wednesday afternoon (had a free day away from my toddler) for a mani/pedi as a walk-in, and they told me they could take me in about an hour so I had reception take my name and number down. Went to Whole Foods for bit. Went back for my appointment with Scott and he did such a great job and was very kind. He worked hard to make my toenails and fingernails how I wanted them and it was much appreciated! Made a future appointment specifically with him. I will be coming back here and trying to make it a regular thing to do for myself.

Do not go here! I am an avid gel polish manicure girl and this is the first time I’ve ever had nails chip within a day. That is unheard of. I called for a refund bc it was crazy expensive ($75 for a gel mani and regular pedi) and was told I couldn’t be refunded, I could come in to have it fixed. I have 3 kids and could barely sneak away to have them done the first time, much less go back a few days later to have them redone. Never again!

The place is beautiful BUT the service is not. My first visit was good enough to return a second time. But second visit was pointless. I asked for a spa/special pedicure (twice!) because I wanted to be pampered, but 20 minutes later, I was done! I would have done a better job myself. I’m still covered in dry skin and have ridges in my nails :/Sincerely disappointed that I wasted my money on this today.

Julie is the best. She listens to what you want then works her magic to achieve it. She helps me find the perfect color and best shape suited for my nails and my activities. When I had a lot of typing work ahead, Julie shortened and reshaped my nails so I could type faster and still have great looking nails. She’s sweet, kind and funny. I enjoy spending time with her. And she’s a true professional.

Wow, so... I’ve been to this place maybe 6-7 times before. They don’t do “an amazing job” but they don’t do a bad job. I was happy coming here. I have two little babies under two, I’m fostering kittens, and we have our own rescue animals. I am a super busy mom. I called to see if I needed an appointment about 45 minutes ago, they said “can you come at 4:30” so I said, “sure.” Things happen, I’m sorry. I showed up at 4:41. They said “we’re going to charge you 20% for being late.” What the heck is that about? Why did I even bother calling? She said if I ever wanted to come back I’d have to pay the 20% fee. And I’m apparently supposed to show up 15 minutes early. Nobody told me that. Seriously? My doctors office isn’t even that strict. She said a no show is 50%. She said they sent a text out with the appointment, which I assure you I didn’t get. I may have considered paying it but they WERE SO RUDE about it. I said, “you know there’s a lot of local nail places that don’t treat you like this.” Her response, “I know them all, we don’t care.” WOW. Don’t come here ever unless you’re a perfect prompt human being who magically knows the rules and you enjoy having people be rude to you. I hope they record their phone calls so they can hear that nobody has EVER told me to show up 15 minutes early. No thanks, bye.

My mom and I have been to MANY nails salons over the years. However, this one by far has got to me the rudest. They are incredible snobby and plain rude. They do a good job doing nails but it is not enough to put up with the poor/lack of any customer service. The whole vibe in the salon is unwelcoming, snotty, and stiff. The workers fight with each other and it is NOT an enjoyable environment.

This place is hit or miss. Sometimes I absolutely love how my nails are done and they last for weeks, other times they crack, chip, and the acrylic tips fall off within a couple days of visiting here. Ruben is very fast and effective and I never have an issue when he does my nails specifically. I dont go out of my way to use this salon but I dont pass it up if Im in the area and need a refill. Four stars due to inconsistency but excellent prices and friendly staff.

I’ve never written a review before but I am so shocked at how the worker there just handled her job! I came in to get a gel pedicure, lady said it was $50 extra for gel pedicure, I was willing to pay it but asked (nicely) how much a regular polish pedicure was she said $30. So I said to clarify, “so it’s $20 extra just for the gel polish?” (Many places have tons of different pedicure packages my question wasn’t way out of left field or rude in any way). The lady rolled her eyes and said, “gel lasts much longer, it’s up to you if you want the pedicure or not.” I said, “I know it lasts longer, that’s why I would like it. I’ll go ahead and do the gel...Actually let me just do the regular, sorry.” The lady rolled her eyes again and starts shaking her head! I asked her if she was really shaking her head at me and am I really being that difficult for asking her a question...she said “you don’t like our price go somewhere else!” Seriously? I stood there for a second in shock and then she said, “you know what I’m the only one here to do it, so since we are already having difficulty you should leave.” I can’t even believe what just happened, it was so ridiculous the way she just spoke to me and acted. If that is the most stressful your job gets and you can’t handle it, maybe you should find something else to do with your life. I have never been treated like that before as a willing to pay customer asking about prices for a service. There are tons of other quality salons in the area that don’t treat their customers with such disrespect. Go down the road to Bliss Nails, or any of the other salons in the area.

Great location. There’s so many colors to choose from! They have matching opi gel and regular polish. Julie helped me and I couldn’t be any happier. I always have problems with other salons not listening to how I want my nails cut and filed. I’m very picky but I was surprised how I didn’t have to tell her anything. She’s a perfectionist, a great listener, just a really sweet girl. Would definitely be back with Julie!

When the business first opened it was great however, my past few visit I have received a poor quality of service. The cleanliness and sanitation of their tools and instruments is poor. They have been rough with how they handled me even cutting me badly and showed no concern or remorse. They have have lost a client as I will never return there.

The front desk girl was sweet, as well as the girl who did my toes. The place is pretty as well. Worlds quickest and crappiest pedicure. I dropped off my mother at her favorite salon so she can get a pedicure and i drove 10 min to go there since i had to stop at target anyway. I ran into target, got my pedicure and went and picked up my mother who still wasnt finished with her pedicure. In their defense I wasnt too upset since I wasnt paying. But there was no massage no anything that typically comes w a standard pedicure except the price. My big toe nails were barely shaped. I would definitely never go again.

I absolutely love this place.. My mom and i have been going here for a while and MiMi always does such a great job on our nails... i read the reviews but i decided to give this place a chance and i was very happy with the service here...

Bad experiences with Luxury Nails. Reuben did the worst gel manicure Ive ever had. Several nails chipped, one of my pinky nails split 2/3 of the way across, and another nails polish split vertically in several places. He seemed angry and like he didnt want to do my nails. The next time I went in, they charged me an extra $5 to take off that horrible manicure. By email and text they are also now threatening to charge people for half of the service price if they miss an appointment, even if there is a legitimate emergency or if your car breaks down. They are also requiring everyone to arrive 15 minutes early so they can sit around and wait for nothing. They must think they are a doctors office! They constantly refuse walk-ins because there arent enough technicians working. They have just lost my business and that of my three other family members who go there. My friends will not go back either. Watch out if you go to Luxury Nails in Hamilton Crossings.

I go on my lunch.. My tech is fast and does a good job! I make appointments so I dont have to wait.

I was unsure about nail salons at it was a VERY long time since I had my nails done. However, John did a great job and was patient with me. They also allowed my daughter to get polished. I was extremely happy with my experience.

Went there today for the first time and I have to say I loved it there. My nails turned out perfect the lady viene (I think is right) who did them was super gentle and made me feel comfortable by talking to me. They even offered you a beverage if you were thirsty. I would def rec coming here!!

Great space & location but only about 4 techs working during the week so they’re always fully booked while only using about 20% of the space. Finally made an appointment for a pedicure. Was disappointed it was such a slack job. I won’t be back.

I did not enjoy my experience. The salon is beautiful and the girl at the front desk was friendly. Unfortunately, the man who did my manicure sat far away and at an awkward angle. I’ve been getting my nails done many years and he kept hurting me, trying to twist and contort my hands in ways they couldn’t move, rather that just move himself. I had dipping powder applied. He made me dip my nails myself and in the end they turned out super thick. Not well done, at all. I went to Gemini today and had the complete opposite experience.

Male technician was rude, didnt listen, we got charged more than usual, and have a couple burnt fingers to deal with. Was told had to have same guy fix the job or wait several days for an opening. Decided to wait for nails and fingers to heal. Owners and managers need to do a customer service assessment and redo and the health board may want to check procedures.

I called to come in. They told me they couldn’t accommodate at 6:30p but if I came in at 5pm that would be better. I showed up at exactly 5pm. They front desk person said no we cannot take you at anytime. So what was the point in telling me to come in in the phone at all.They never have availability so I always call first and now even when they tell me when to come they say that can’t see me 🤷🏽‍♀️.Poor service, sucking on a lollipop while talking to me with no eye contact. Did not offer an appointment the next day even.Terrible service.

Its really sad I cannot give 0 stars. If I could I would. I walked in to ask about getting my acrylics taken off and they said to sign in, I said I will but needed to check if I could wait for 15 mins until they got me and that 30 mins waiting for my nails to come off... no one has to do the work for this that much... the foil and acetone does majority of the work. I went back in literally less than 2 mins later to sign in and they said to late someone called in and took the spot. I was hella confused. I asked them if they take walk-ins they said yes, 3 of there technicians finished with there clients but they refused to take me. I informed them that their customer service was horrible. Thats definitely not how you treat customers when you have more than 3 technicians available. They told me to go to other salons and take my business elsewhere. I informed them I will from now on. Thanks but no thanks.

My sister went in to get a gel mani/pedi before her wedding, and since the color options are not grouped by gradient, was having a hard time finding colors in the neutral palette she was looking for. When she asked an employee to help her and said she was getting married in a few days, he just said We dont pick colors and as she tried to explain her questions, he said someone else could help her and walked away (nobody else came to help or even talk to her). She picked out regular polish and decided to ditch the gel, and sat down with her colors, but was never assisted or served when she was the only one there besides one other person. This level of disregard for a basic level of customer service and politeness is unheard of. He could have easily listened to her question and been helpful, but he decided to push a woman who was choosing this place to do her nails BEFORE HER WEDDING away and ignore her. Ultimately, my sister left and I went back to complain to the gentleman, but he offered no apology and when I told him he had given her a horrible pre-wedding experience, he simply said ok. I cannot imagine how they treat their day-to-day customers when this is how they treated someone who they knew was getting married. Please try one of the other salons in the Allentown area. Not this one.

Loved this Salon, I had a Mani/Pedi. Very clean, a new file and pedi sponge are used each time. I had D____(forgetting her name) she did a great job.

I went to have my nails done for my wedding. Im assuming I got the owners son, because Im not sure who else would get away with the behavior I saw. Rubin was on YouTube the ENTIRE time he did both my mani and pedi. Pedi turned out fine, although he missed base coat on half my foot because he got distracted watching You Tube. Twice he stopped what he was doing, and just continued watching his show. No joke. He wouldnt help me pick out a fingernail color, but instead threw a giant shoebox of gel colors at me. When I finally found one, he said, That $15 dollar extra. $15 DOLLARS FOR CHROME?????? I found a second color, and was told, We no have that. Rubin, seeing you was no luxury. Ladies, if you get the young dude with the compass tattoo, turn and WALK OUT!

Horrible. Made an appointment for today at 2:00. When I got there they said my appointment was never put on the books and then walked away. This happens every time I make an appointment here. Customer service is horrible and they are incredibly rude.

I have never been happier with a nail salon, every one is very friendly and its a relaxing environment plus my nails look great Everytime ! However I can agree with the review about Ruebin, he was on his phone the entire time he did my nails too, so now I go to someone else.

My experience was fine in the beginning but early on I could tell that the guy I had did not want to do my nails. I wanted coffins shaped acrylics and early on I could tell he was annoyed with me because I am not able to relax my hand easily when someone else is holding it and bending my fingers. He also kept upcharging me for the shape I wanted, gel polish, the super simple design I wanted which someone else did, and also one rhinestone on both ring fingers which I understand but I saw my print out which said 40 dollars for acrylics and gel polish at the end it was 60 dollars for everything which isnt bad but still 20 dollars extra for everything is a little ridiculous. However he did cut me with the electric nail file between my nail and finger and he did not apologize for it even though it did bleed. I ended up with acrylic powder all over my fingers and it burned while having my hand in the dryer. In the end I ended up with super thick polish an uneven design and some nails that actually look coffin shaped and a rhinestone that fell off after a week which I now would be charged if I was to replace it. I would have said something but me and my boyfriend where already there for almost 2 and half hours and it wasnt till later on I noticed all the mistakes.

Worse place ever. They did a manicure in 15 minutes, charged me 30 dollars, and my nails were horrible. Very bad place...
